Why does Angular not databind data when an object is copied from another object?
I have never worked with AngularJS before, but I think what is going on here is that your parameter p is not your simple key/value object but a more complex AngularJS object. By assigning your prod to it you are overriding it instead of changing specific parts of the object. Maybe the following code snippet will help you out: for(var key in prod) { p[key] = prod[key]; }

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object" when creating a new Web API controller with EF Scaffolding in Visual Studio 2012
Found the problem. In my model, I had a property with a custom enum type, which was in my business project. In my service project, I had my data model project referenced but not the business project. So adding a reference to the model AND business project allowed me to add scaffold controllers fine. Seems obvious I know, but the error message it gives you is so unhelpful! Anyway, I hope this helps anyone having the same problem, and can't fix it using the other suggestions.

Controller properties displaying as [object Object] (when using coffeescript)
The extends keyword of Coffeescript does basic prototype based inheritance. Ember's extends is actually a much more sophisticated object system that provides getters and setters, computed properties among other things. The 2 are not equivalent. The equivalent Coffeescript for Ember would be, App.SidebarController = Ember.ObjectController.extend namez: (-> @get('name') ).property()

OPENGL ES 2.0 translate (move object)
I am surprised this works at all. In OpenGL if you use proper column-major matrices, you should multiply: ModelViewProjectionMatrix * VertexPosition for transforming your vertices. This is very likely the cause of your problem. In other words, in both of your shaders gl_Position = vPosition * uMVPMatrix; should probably be: gl_Position = uMVPMatrix * vPosition; Your original matrix multiplication would work in Direct3D, because it uses row-major matrices. This is something to keep in mind if you are porting code from HLSL.

Opengl: How can i translate only one object in the scene
Use glPushMatrix() to push the current matrix, do glTranslate and draw the wall, then glPopMatrix() and draw the plane. This should only translate the wall. The problem is you seem to be doing the translate in display instead of in DrawWall where it should be.

How to translate with JQuery using id in the window and translations from an object?
Seems like a strange way to do it, I would just use one object with keys, and not multiple objects, like so : var translation = { 1234: 'text1234', 3232: 'text2332', 3278: 'text3278' }; $('th').text(function(_,txt){ return translation[parseInt(txt,10)]; }); FIDDLE Otherwise you'll have to do a lot of slow iterating : var translation = [ {1234: 'text1234'}, {3232: 'text2332'}, {3278: 'text3278'} ]; $('th').text(function(_,txt){ var key = parseInt(txt,10); $.each(translation, function(_, obj) { if ( key in obj) txt = obj[key]; }); return txt; });

How does a compiler translate an object instance of a class to binary machine code?
Behind the scenes? No big surprises here. Let's take a reasonable, byt hypothetical compiler: First off, there's a global Dog* dog. Add a name to the global object table, size 4, type (Dog) pointer. Next, there's an initialization with a non-constant expression. Write a small bit of code __dog__initializer which calls ::operator new(sizeof(Dog)), stores the result in dog and then calls __Ctor_Dog. There's a string constant "rover" needed, so add that to the global string table. When the whole file is read, all tables are translated into parts of the object file, so the linker can put them together. That's not really generating binary code, just putting existing parts together. Remember, this is just a hypothetical implementation, and details definitely differ in practice.

Should My Class Translate to Core Data Managed Object, or Be Core Data Managed Object
I would say that both solutions are good. If you only want to save your Recorder object to a persistent store (so that you can refetch it when your app is killed for instance) the first solution is great but you'll have two classes : Recorder and RecorderCoreData let's say. If you think it's too complicated to maintain code with these two classes then convert your Recorder class to a managed object. The only thing you should be aware of is since AudioRecorder is a subclass of Recorder, AudioRecorder will also have to be a managed object ! But there's no perfect answer, just pick the one that looks easy and better depending on your needs. I hope it will help you.

jQuery+Edge Animate: Error only when called from click event: Object [object Object] has no method 'foundation'
I hadn't realized that Edge loads in a version of jQuery. Using jQuery's noConflict() fixed the problem: <script> $(document).foundation(); $.noConflict(); jQuery(document).ready(function($) { // Code that uses jQuery's $ can follow here. // This works as expected $('#myModal').foundation('reveal', 'open'); $("#myButton").click(function() { // This generates the error: //Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'foundation' $('#myModal').foundation('reveal', 'open'); return false; }) }); </script>

Chrome Extension, JQuery error "Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'text'"
name is in your global scope, so it's actually conflicting with window.name. window.name silently converts its value to a string, which is where your error is coming from: > window.name = $('<a>') > window.name "[object Object]" > window.fooname = $('<a>') > window.fooname [<a></a>] So to fix it, either wrap your code in an anonymous function to prevent things from leaking into the global scope: (function() { ... })(); Or use a different variable name. I would use the self-executing anonymous function.

How to commit an object from a get controller to a post controller?
You need to either use HttpSession attributes or flash attributes (which use the HttpSession anyway). To use flash attributes, Spring makes available the RedirectAttributes class. In your GET handler @RequestMapping(value = "/benutzerverwaltung/{benutzerID}/kennwort", method = RequestMethod.GET) public String BenutzerverwaltungKennwort(@PathVariable("benutzerID")int id, @ModelAttribute("benutzer") CBenutzer benutzer, Model model, RedirectAttributes redirectAttrs){ benutzer.getBenutzer(id); benutzer.setPasswort(null); redirectAttrs.addFlashAttribute("benutzer", benutzer); return "benutzerverwaltung/kennwort"; } From the javadoc: After the redirect, flash attributes are automatically added to the model of the controller that serves the target URL. This will be true

Pass object into method, assign that object to another object, passed in object still the same object I passed in
You are adding 3 customers to the lookup with the same key (id) after the first for loop run the fetch method returns true for the rest of the for loop runs. so the name will never be set. You could try this: if( $this->identityMap->lookup($customer) ) { return $this->identityMap->get($customer); } But dont forget to implement the method "get" in the IdentityMap Class ;)

Session Variable List, when adding a new Object I get Object reference not set to an instance of an object
After Session["SessionStats"] = new UserSession(); you have added a new UserSession, whose Option property is null, to Session. Then, when you do ((UserSession)Session["SessionStats"]).Options.Add(RO); you are pulling out that very same object and accessing the Option property, which is null, hence the NullReferenceException. It looks like you are forgetting to assign something to the newly created UserOption's Option property. However, you don't seem to be using the Options you are instantiating in the foreach for anything...

Trying to use a jQuery file in Wordpress, which requires noConflict, but now my Object [object Object] has no method
Wrap your functions and jQuery code in this: ;(function ($) { //Code in here })(jQuery); This assigns the $ to jQuery only. Doing this prevents conflicts with other libraries/code that also use the $. Also leading this code with a ; protects your function from unclosed scripts. I wouldn't rely on the noConflict() method. <script type="text/javascript"> ;(function ($, window, document, undefined) { //You can do it like this too //Make sure to replace all your 'jQuery' referecens to '$' //jQuery.extend({}, _self.defaults, _self.options, _self.metadata) $.extend({}, _self.defaults, _self.options, _self.metadata) })(jQuery, window, document); </script>

This is because you have called .data("kendoValidator") and stored the data part in a variable. validator = $("#name").kendoValidator().data("kendoValidator"); This is not an object and therefore you cannon call validate() on it. Without calling the data("x"), the actual object exists but its not stored in your variable. validator = $("#name").kendoValidator() In your case, you need to do this: var validator = jQuery('#name').kendoValidator({ messages: { required: "Campo obbligatorio" } }).data("kendoValidator");

Backbone - Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'call'
There's a bunch of whackiness in your code, but my first guess is that this mistake is causing your current problem. When binding event handlers, you usually want to reference but not EXCUTE the handler function. So instead of GroupList.render() (with the parenthesese) which is executing a function, you want GroupList.render (without the parenthesese) which is just referencing it without execution. $this.collection.on("change", GroupList.render, this); $this.collection.on("change", modal.render, this); //return $this.cancel();

Backbone.js listenTo issue, Object [object Object] has no method 'call'
There doesn't appear to be anything intrinsically wrong with the code you've posted, so it's safe to assume the root cause is in some missing initialization code. I was able to use your code, making some assumptions about what how it was supposed to work: You're rendering a list of items generated by the NumbersOnBoard collection. This list of items is created and saved to the database when the collection is new'd up. Each model in the collection is being rendered inside a parent view of some sort. This parent view appends each child's view to the DOM somewhere, probably in it's own container The models represent some kind of selectable item; their state changes when clicked and immediately persists to the DB Assuming this is all true, this fiddle demonstrates it successfully issuing
