How to send IOS Push Notifications with Emoji in message in a NodeJS server?
You keep saying different things. You first said: If I write ue48d , for a cloud character, server see it as a string 'ue48d'. Now you're saying I write "e415 Hello!" to the message field. At the risk of pointing out the obvious ue48d != e415 UTF8 characters in JSON are encoded like with u and then the character code i.e. ue48d is a valid character to send to the phone in JSON. e415 is not, which is why your phone is not displaying it as an emoji character. So, what does your phone see when you send 'ue48d' to it? i.e. what does it see when you send it the original correctly encoded string. Edit If it works when you send a properly encoded string from the server, then you probably just need to decode the message sent to the server, before sending it back out i.e. messag

Show an indeterminate progress + loading message in fragment while data is loading
You could use an AsyncTask to load data and have it return values that indicate the progress of the task. You can create a view you want to display with a progress bar and then create the asynctask and pass the activity context and that progressbar. public class Loader extends AsyncTask<>{ ProgressBar progress; Context context; public Loader(Context context, ProgressBar progress) { this.progress = progress; this.context = context; } public Integer doInBackground() { // do your loading here and determine what percent is done and call publishProgress() } public void onProgressUpdate(Integer... value) { final Integer progressVal = value; Runnable updateProg = new Runnable(){ public void run(){ this.progress.setProgress(progressVal); }}; Handler main

How do I send a message to a WSO2 Message Broker from a Node.js client
WSO2 Message Broker supports Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) v0.91. I haven't tried this myself, but you should be able to use a Node.js client to connect with WSO2 MB. See amqp.node project at GitHub. You can connect with WSO2 MB using the AMQP connection URL. See the "Sending and Receiving Messages Using Queues" doc to understand how AMQP connection URL can be specified to connect with WSO2 MB. I hope this helps! Thanks!

Custom Linux service status message using Java Service Wrapper
I got a half-solution. Inspecting the wrapper script code, as suggested by @Naytzyrhc, I found that the wrapper lib reads 3 files to create the status message: bin/my-app.pid to print the PID of the running process; bin/my-app.status to print the status of the wrapper itself; bin/my-app.java.status to print the status of the wrapped application. So, in the application code, to override the status message, just write the message in the my-app.java.status file. There's only one gotcha: if the status message contains line breaks, the service my-app status doesn't print them, because it uses the echo command (as stated in this question Capturing multiple line output to a bash variable). To solve this problem, just change the line from: eval echo `gettext '$APP_LONG_NAME is running: PID:$

I'm curious - what made you decide to move away from NServiceBus? Also, have you looked at possibly using the SQL Server transport (new in v4) for handling this integration scenario? Finally, I'd suggest looking at this thread from the discussion group for some pointers: http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/nservicebus/conversations/topics/17931

Can not catch over >1000 message when server send over 1000 message at a time nodejs udp
Node.js is subject to the limitations of the underlying operating system. The operating system puts limits on the number of outstanding handles that can be concurrently held by a process. It's likely that you're exhausting the number of available file descriptors. I recommend using connection pooling to reduce the number of file descriptors that your applications attempt to consume. So instead of trying to send 1000 things at once, limit your program to a pool of say 100 connections at a time. There are several connection pooling libraries available through npm - one popular choice is poolr.

Getting an error message when trying to push to an array
As the error message shows, the object in question is null, not undefined. The two are different values, and the way you're checking will only check for undefined. The best way to check whether an object is undefined or null is to leverage the fact that null and undefined implicitly convert between each other, and do: if ($scope.grid.data == null) {

Fail to send push notification
SendGcmNativeNotification is marked as internal in Service Bus SDK 2.1. As for your issue, SendGcmNativeNotificationAsync() doesn't return actual result, it returns a task. The following is an example how you would consume it using c# 5 syntax: private static async Task<NotificationOutcomeState> CallNotificationHub() { var hubClient = NotificationHubClient.CreateClientFromConnectionString( "<your connection string with full access>", "<your notification hub name>"); var outcome = await hubClient.SendGcmNativeNotificationAsync( "{ "data" : {"msg":"Hello from Windows Azure!"}}"); return outcome.State; } CallNotificationHub().Wait();

Send push notification according to mobile OS
What I would do and what I have done. If you are storing the ID's in the database it should be very easy to distinguish the two. If you are keeping them in the same table but different fields then just use a different name for the columns. Save the ID's according to device type. Just don't have a generic column for Push Notification ID use two. I save the device ID according to type and the user's member ID with it. So even if they register with multiple devices it will send it to all their devices android or ios. Or I can just select all and send to every registered user. Here are some examples. One example using multiple id columns and one using a single id column with another column for type. gcm_id and apn_id as column names in the DB where the keys are stored one for android and o

Push Notification send and receive in iOS?
You cant send the push notification using UDID, you can use the Apple service for sending the push notifications via device-token and pem file which is explained in below link. http://www.raywenderlich.com/32960/apple-push-notification-services-in-ios-6-tutorial-part-1 Any push notification that isn't delivered immediately was queued for future redelivery because your device was not connected to the service. "Immediately" of course needs to take latency for your connection into account. Outlying cases would be beyond 60 seconds as APNs will time out at that point. Still you have any query then you can refer the below link http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#technotes/tn2265/_index.html

how to properly send push notifications
It's possible that some of the device tokens you are sending to are invalid. Even one invalid device can explain what you are experiencing. When you send a notification with an invalid device token, Apple returns an error response and closes the socket. It's possible that by the time your code detects that the socket is closed you already sent many notifications after the invalid one (it's even possible you finished sending all the notifications before detecting the socket is closed), which causes all of the notifications sent after the invalid one to be discarded. Such notifications must be resent to Apple after you create a new socket. I suggest you read the Push Notification Throughput and Error Checking section in this document for further details. Make sure that your database doe

Apple Push Notifications System Not Receving Message! (PHP)
I have some experience with Apple's push service and i have to say that apple seems to have soem restrictions in place. First of all you dont need to close and open the socket connection for every message. That will save you a lot of time. On the other hand you have to check if the connection is broken before you send the next message. Anyway, it seemed that apple does not like it much when you connect a hundred times a second and send messages. Apples has blocked me for that as well in the passed. But when you send the message with a already established connection, and at some point the connection is returning an error/ is disconnected, you dont know at what message he stopped. But you can define a identifier for each message and check the error returned when the connection is broken.

maximum length of push notification message in arabic characters ios
The PHP json_encode() function uses Unicode escape sequences for the Arabic characters, so that the $payload becomes: {"aps":{"alert":"u0627u0644 ... u0644u0627","sound":"default"}} with a total length of 266 characters. This is valid (compare http://json.org), but makes the payload too long for APNS. Each Arabic characters uses 6 bytes instead of 2 UTF-8 bytes. According to http://stackoverflow.com/a/10835469/1187415, you can use $payload = json_encode($body, JSON_UNESCAPED_UNICODE); in PHP 5.4.0 or later to turn off the Unicode escaping. I could not test this because my PHP version is older. The only other alternative would be not to use json_encode() and create the JSON string "manually".

It should work if you run data$Grp <- as.factor(data$Grp) Then (as before): kruskal.test(data$Val, data$Grp) This is because Grp is a character not a factor and is.finite applied to an object of character class is always false (see ?is.finite).

Do i really need a Dedicated IP address to send push notifications to APNS
No you don't. Shared hosting plans tend to have controlled environments that you, as a shared user, can't really change, such as open or blocked ports. Is there any way you can check if connections through port 2196 are being successfully established (not necessarily to Apple)? Some low-cost, shared plans are known for blocking some juice in favour of stability and security. Also check if your push certs are properly uploaded. Cheers.

How can I send push notification to selected Users iphone?
I'd advise reading: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/NetworkingInternet/Conceptual/RemoteNotificationsPG/Chapters/CommunicatingWIthAPS.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40008194-CH101-SW1 If you're using a third-party system for providing the push notifications using Urban Airship for example, then their system will be set up to discriminate against particular UDIDs. IBM Worklight - How to send push notification from SharePoint server
The PushBackendEmulator.jar file is meant only for simulation purposes in the IBM Worklight Getting Started push notifications sample application (because there is no actual "push server" available). When moving to a production environment, you should use the adapter invocation service. You use your service to invoke the adapter procedure and send the push notification. You can also use polling instead of pushing (page 23). As for how to implement this on the Sharepoint side, there are all sort of guides on the web. This is outside the Worklight scope. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj163784.aspx http://kniganapolke.wordpress.com/2009/12/29/call-sharepoint-web-service-from-a-php-script/ ...

How to set push notification receive message target page in windows phone?
The wp:param that's part of the toast notification's payload should be a uri. Therefore it should also be encoded as one. In the example that you're providing there's a space in the payload, that might be causing problems. Could you try formatting it like this? "<wp:Param>/Receive.xaml?NavigatedFrom=Toast%20Notification</wp:Param>" . Also make sure that Receive.xaml is indeed in the root of your package.

Push service implementetion on Android devices
Is GCM uses this logic? Generally yes, though bear in mind that there are a lot more details. is it guaranteed that if a device using Android OS, it also supports this Google service? No. It is only going to be on devices that legitimately have the Play Store and the rest of Google's proprietary app suite. It will not be on the Kindle Fire, the OUYA, or other devices that are using Android purely from the open source project. how should I handle the case that there is no GCM support on device Amazon has a GCM equivalent for the Kindle Fire series, IIRC. Beyond that, since GCM is not a guaranteed delivery service, you need a fallback plan even for "normal" Android devices. For example, let's suppose that you are writing an app to show news headlines to the user. In the ab
