angularjs mobile website: fix top bar with sliding menu
the top fixed bar: use bootstrap, it already has a fixed navbar as "navbar-fixed-top"...see here slide menu: there is an awesome angularjs plugin which does exactly this: Angular-snap.js follow the steps there...you'll have to add three main files: angular-snap.js, snap.js and angular-snap.css and add the 'snap' module as a dependency in your app.js file: angular.module('myApp', ['snap']); done. All you'll need in your main code is a drawer and some content: <snap-drawer> I'm in a drawer! </snap-drawer> <snap-content> I'm your main content! </snap-content> dropdown menu at the right: again in bootstrap...put this in the fixed navbar

Mobile menu popup not scrolling when sliding up and down
The way I managed to resolve this is to put the mobile menu in the root alongside the main content DIV. Then, when the mobile menu button is clicked I set the main content DIV display property to None and the Mobile Menu DIV to Block. Essentially I'm hiding the site content and showing the menu content and vice versa. This allows you to scroll the menu as though it's normal content.

jQuery-mobile sliding menu under header
Override .ui-panel style by changing top position and min-height values Demo Calculate header's .outerHeight() and panel's .height(). var header = $('[data-role=header]').outerHeight(); var panel = $('.ui-panel').height(); Give panel a new min-height in order not to cause page to scroll var panelheight = panel - header; Override panel style $('.ui-panel').css({ 'top': header, 'min-height': panelheight });

Jquery-mobile sliding menu panel +scrolling
In my opinion, jQuery Mobile's slide panel (FB like) it is not yet ready. I had some issues with fixed navbar and fixed footer. This why I started to search for a better alternative to solve this problem. Here are some links that I found : http://www.berriart.com/sidr/#usage http://apptitudes.github.io/SlidingMenuJS/ (my favorite) http://tympanus.net/codrops/2013/04/17/slide-and-push-menus/ http://css-tricks.com/off-canvas-menu-with-css-target/ I know it doesn't solve your problem, but it might help in your futur development :)

Bootstrap menu is not collapsed by default in mobile view
You need the .navbar-collapse class in your nav since that's the one that is set up to collapse at the given breakpoint. I made some changes in your markup to accommodate that and also added a .navbar container so you can easily use the .navbar-toggle class on the button: <div class="container"> <div class="navbar navbar-default"> <div class="navbar-brand"> <a href="#">BABSI</a> </div> <button type="button" class="navbar-toggle" data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#sidebar .navbar-collapse"> <span class="icon-bar"></span> <span class="icon-bar"></span> <span class="icon-bar"></span> </button> </div> <d

sliding menu from right to the left when the menu button is pressed
@RAS Here's an example of how you could go about it (adapt as necessary): Fiddle Example Uses a relatively positioned <div> with overflow:hidden to contain the menu which is an absolutely positioned <div>. It animates the right property to slide the menu in from right to left. Hopefully it gives you some ideas on how you could achieve your result based on the markup you have to work with. Cheers!

Is there any way to see hidden content on a website maybe hidden cloudfront links?
It depends on how they have 'hidden' the content: If they just use display: none; or visibility: hidden; (i.e. they sytlistically hide it) then you can't see it as the browser won't render the item, but it will still exist in the HTML; if it's an image, the link to the image will be valid, or if it is text you can just read it. In your example, they are using some server-side code to limit what is actually emitted into HTML - thus there is nothing there. That way people can't just inspect the source and hack around it.

Sliding hidden sections of a JPanel into view
I suggest that you put the JPanel in a JScrollPane, one that if you wish does not show its scrollbars. Then you could easily use the scrollpane's model and a Swing Timer to create an animation that shows the JPanel sliding.

jQuery Mobile calling click or tap on a hidden input[type=file] in Opera Mobile
With jQuerymobile, you're better off using virtual events like vclick. Giving something along the lines of $(document).bind('pageshow', function() { $('.ui-page-active .upload').tap(function() { $('.ui-page-active .image-upload').trigger("vclick"); return false; }); });

Expandeble menu using sliding menu
You can use this library for your sliding menu: https://github.com/jfeinstein10/SlidingMenu It allows you to have any arbitrary ViewGroup inside it instead of just single menu items. This means you can add any type of Layout, Views , ListViews etc in your side menu. You can include an expandable ListView here and it should work just fine.

Sliding to different pages in website
I think you want a 'single page website'? There are a lot of tutorials about this but this one is great: http://vandelaydesign.com/blog/web-development/single-page-sliding-nav/ A live demo can be found here: http://vandelaydesign.com/demos/single-page/ This uses jquery to scroll to the element with a specific id on the page. When you click one of the menu items it scrolls/slides automatically to that part of the page. Just because the code is a bit long I'll only post the Jquery, to give you an idea. <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $('#topnav').onePageNav({ currentClass: 'current', scrollOffset: 0 }); }); </script> $('#nav').onePageNav({ currentClass: 'current', changeHash: false, scrollSpeed: 750, scrollOffset:

what is best way to put js array into extjs scrollable menu
It's pretty much the same process. Loop over it to transform it into an array of objects. var items = []; Ext.Array.forEach(locations, function(item) { items.push({ id: 'item' + item[0], text: item[1] }); }); new Ext.menu.Menu({ items: items });

menu sliding up instead of down
The menu opens down because the element is "docked" at the top (be default). If you "dock" the element by its bottom specifically, then the element will grow up rather than down. You can do that by setting bottom : 0; position: absolute; on the ul.menu1 element.

is a RowSet object scrollable by default?
JdbcRowSetImpl is a - relatively - thin wrapper around a Resultset, so it demands that the ResultSet is also scrollable to be able to provide the required scrollability, if you don't want to or can't provide a scrollable result set you can use a CachedRowSet. Contrary to what the tutorial you link to says, the com.sun.rowset.JdbcRowSetImpl does not convert a non-scrollable ResultSet to a scrollable result set. The implementation simply wraps the ResultSet and forwards calls directly to it, so if the ResultSet is not scrollable then the JdbcRowSet isn't either. Same goes for the updatability. The tutorial seems to be contradictory, because after the introduction that you can use JdbcRowSet to make a result set scrollable, it notes: A JdbcRowSet object created with a ResultSet object s

Switching fragments in Sliding Menu?
When I work with fragments I doit this way: In the MainActivity: public void changeFragment(int frag, Fragment myNewFragment) { FragmentTransaction t = getSupportFragmentManager().beginTransaction(); t.replace(frag, myNewFragment); //t.addToBackStack(null); t.commit(); } And the in my MyApplication class y have small functions so I can call them any time: public void switchFragmentNormal(Activity a, Fragment newContent) { MainActivity fca = (MainActivity)a; fca.changeFragment(R.id.main_fragment, newContent); } So this way, from any fragment or slide menu i do a small call and I will change it easily: and I make a "new somthing()" just when I need to: FragmentVote fvote = new FragmentVote(); MyApp.switchFragmentNormal(getActivity(), fv

Tab Bar not hiding Using DDMenuController (Fb like sliding menu)
Your app doing just what you have implemented. You are adding your sliding menu view controller as subview controller to tabbar controller, of course, it won't hide. Some suggestions to hide tabbar: 1. Add tabbar controller as modal to your DDMenuController 2. write some methods to hide/show tabbar (searching hide tabbar will give you the answers, or you could just traverse subviews of tabbar controller's view find tabbar and hide it). Good luck!

Sliding Menu with Fragment changing
The answer was in my fragment java code. I had : @Override public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) { View v = inflater.inflate(com.quentindommerc.flatme.R.layout.f_contact, container); return v; } And I should have : @Override public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) { View v = inflater.inflate(com.quentindommerc.flatme.R.layout.f_contact, container, false); return v; } So basically, in the inflate method, put "false" as third parameter. Edit : Corrected spelling mistake.

How to show Sliding Menu in each and every Activity
I think you may want to rethink your design. I have made quite a few commercial apps for clients using sliding menus. In such apps I usually have a central activity, and all else is fragments, the activity itself might have a title bar, or tabs, or a menu, or nothing, but all the complex views are fragments. Generally you want to have the activity implement the most common views and controls in all the screens that will have the same functionality no matter what. If you really must do it this way I suggest making a parent class to deal with all the sliding functionality, and have your activities that need the sliding functionality inherit from it. In any case you are going to want to use fragments, whether from the support library, or if you target API is high enough, just the regular on

How do I enable my mobile website to bypass mobile redirect?
You could add another RewriteCond to check for %{REQUEST_URI} !^/no-mobile/.*$ and then rewrite /no-mobile/ to /. This will allow users on a mobile that want to view the full site to have a link to /no-mobile/. Alternative PHP Solution If your client wants a way to allow mobile users to use both, you can use php. Do your same HTTP_USER_AGENT check in PHP and redirect the user when the hit your site. If they click a Full Site button, you should redirect them to something like /force-desktop where you set $_SESSION['no_mobile'] = true. You can then incorporate this into your initial mobile check like so: full-site.php: <?php session_start(); $_SESSION['no_mobile'] = true; header('Location: /mobile'); die(); then a check when a page is loaded on your site (you'll have to do it on

subclassing UINavigationController and adding a sliding menu
You mean like the Facebook app? I think a better design would be to have a parent view controller that manages the sliding and two child view controllers, one for the menu and one for the content. EDIT The SlidingViewController has two child view controllers: a ContentViewController that takes up all the space and a MenuViewController underneath the ContentViewController. The SlidingViewController only manages the sliding interaction, whether that's coming from a pan gesture or from a method call. When it's time to show the menu, the SlidingViewController will shift the ContentViewController so that the MenuViewController is visible (by changing the transform or frame property). The ContentViewController and MenuViewController are just containers for the real view controllers. You use
