Cutting the videos based on start and end time using ffmpeg
You probably do not have a keyframe at the 3 second mark. Because non-keyframes encode differences from other frames, they require all of the data starting with the previous keyframe. With the mp4 container it is possible to cut at a non-keyframe without re-encoding using an edit list. In other words, if the closest keyframe before 3s is at 0s then it will copy the video starting at 0s and use an edit list to tell the player to start playing 3 seconds in. If you are using the latest ffmpeg from git master it will do this using an edit list when invoked using the command that you provided. If this is not working for you then you are probably either using an older version of ffmpeg, or your player does not support edit lists. Some players will ignore the edit list and always play all o

Playing videos on iPhone after video conversion using ffmpeg
I just wrote a blog post that covers encoding_h264_for_ios that shows examples of h.264 encoding that do and do not work on iOS hardware. The specific command line that I use is this: ffmpeg -y -i INPUT.mov -c:v libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p -preset:v slow -profile:v baseline -crf 23 OUTPUT.m4v If I were you, I would try to encode the videos on the command line and test them on iOS hardware without the web interface. Then, go step by step with specific command line options until you found the one that was breaking the iOS playback.

ffmpeg commands to concatenate different type and resolution videos into 1 video and can be played in android
You can use concat to append all the videos one by one after converting them to a single format. You can also use the below command to convert differently formatted video to one format: ./ffmpeg -i 1.mp4 -acodec libvo_aacenc -vcodec libx264 -s 1920x1080 -r 60 -strict experimental 1.mp4 Convert everything to mp4 and then follow the instructions given in the link above. This will enable you to join all the videos in a single file.

Two views, on top of each other, cross fade between - iOS
Your problem purely involves UI animation, so it shouldn't be solved by adding a new view controller. The following piece of code should help: -(void)buttonTapped { [UIView animateWithDuration:0.5 animations:^{ // self.view1 and self.view2 are views that need to be switching self.view1.alpha = 0; self.view2.alpha = 1; }]; }

Cross-fade between two textures on a sphere
You can use the smoothstep function to turn a continous value into a 0/1 decision with a small smooth transition in between. So basically you define a range where the transisition is, let's just take [-0.25,0.25], which would be an angle range from about 75 to 105 degrees (take larger values for a larger transistion area, but try to make it symmetrical, thus centered around 90 degrees, since people switch on their lights at dusk already ;)). Then we transform our [-1,1] monotonic cosine using angle = smoothstep(-0.25, 0.25, angle) which will result in angle (though that name is a bit unfortunately chosen, given that it isn't an angle and behaves inverse to the actual angle) being 0 if it was < -0.25, 1 if it was > 0.25 and a smooth transition if in between. And the whole texturing

Hide / Fade In effect - cross browser?
I must say you can chain it for better performance (No need to call same selector twice): $(document).ready(function () { $('.main-wrap').hide().fadeIn(4000); }); it needs to be highly cross-browser/cross tablet functional As we know these days mobile devices are having better browsers which have better html5/css3 compatibility and fully functional. So there must not be any issue. Yet that need a well thought js work. as i mentioned above better will be to cache the selectors for use in multiple areas in the code.

Android FFMPEG: Could not execute the ffmpeg from Java code
Do you have root on the device? Mount '/data' and then enter your same 'ffmpeg' command in the shell and see whether the error is the same. Try using the shell to test out different command expressions. Try 'ffmpeg' alone and with just one input file. See whether those commands produce expected output. My wild guess would be that there is an issue with calling 'ffmpeg.main()' that relates to the details of your build.

I understand that this is a crash? If so, the answer is pretty simple: there's a bug in codec, from the name of the DLL I think that's ffmpeg H264 codec. You should try to update it, or just avoid it.

I've created a fade in fade out jquery content box, i want it to stop on mouseenter
You have two variables that contain all of the faders. I assume you wanted one for the faders, and one for the ul. var fad = $('.bxslider'); var divs = $('.fader').hide(); var dur = 500; We can create a variable to hold the next element, and a variable that indicates whether the animation should stop, or not. var stop = false; var next = $(); We can check for a mouse being over the entire list which is more reliable. fad.mouseenter(function(){ stop = true; }); fad.mouseleave(function(){ stop = false; }); Our new-and-improved showDiv function checks if we need to stop before doing anything. It's also restructured to make sure that we'll have something visible for when we tell it to stop animating. function showDiv() { if (stop) return; if (next.length) {

Fade-in / fade-out with constant background color across animation
From the comments, it sounds like you want to animate the views in the activities, rather than the Activities themselves. You can do this using the droidQuery library. Simply set this as your onPause() method: @Override public void onPause() { //here, substitute mainView with the id of your background $.with(this, R.id.mainView).selectChildren().selectAll().animate("{ alpha : 0.0f }", 400, $.Easing.LINEAR, $.noop()); super.onPause(); } This will select all of the views that are children of your background, and animate their alpha values to 0 using ObjectAnimator, Linear interpolation, and 400ms duration. You will also want to override onResume(): @Override public void onResume() { //here, substitute mainView with the id of your background $.with(this, R.id.mainView

Fade between pics and text description color fade
Make the image change on hover of the link, not the image: $(".box a").hover( function() { $(this).find("img.grey").stop().animate({"opacity": "0"}, "slow"); }, function() { $(this).find("img.grey").stop().animate({"opacity": "1"}, "slow"); }); http://jsfiddle.net/BGKFN/28/ Edit Or simply like: http://jsfiddle.net/BGKFN/30/ $(".box a").hover(function( e ) { $(this).find("img.grey").stop().animate({opacity: e.type=="mouseenter"?0:1}, 800); }); where jQuery's hover is a shorthand for mouseenter mouseleave, which means if we target the current e event we're getting the one of the two, and using a ternary operator ( ? : ) we're setting opacity to 0 if true (is mouseenter) and to 1 if false (if mouseleave).

Fade in Fade out inside the bar using jquery

So it runs in loops passing 1 and 2 and 1 and 2 ... to message.eq hence why the texts keep rolling...
