Posting image on Facebook wall it is too small and not saved in photos album in android java
I believe you should be uploading images to someone's album rather than to their wall (as you're doing). Try this: (I realize this example is php, and not java... I'll see if I can dig up the java sample). https://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/498/ edit: Here's an Android sample: http://sunnysharma4android.blogspot.com/

unable to retreive picasa photos with php when requesting data feed
I tried your url and all works fine, i can access gphoti$id and media$group values. So far seems all ok ;) Try again! Maybe you didn`t have public photos at that time there... Not relevant answer to that question (in case if server requests authorisation): For all Picasa web albums api queries with alt=json, or alt=json-in-code and /userid/default/ you must provide access_token parameter. Access token you can get using OAuth2 authorization work-flow as described here: http://code.google.com/p/google-api-php-client/wiki/OAuth2 (using google-api-php-client SDK for example) And using in scopes this value "http://picasaweb.google.com/data/". More how to do OAuth2 and get access token from https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/token after requesting user login: https://accounts.google.

Start looking into multi-queries and batch this should increase your performance. So your last query would be an array calls in batch separated by album and each call will be a multi query between the photo and photo_tag table. https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/batch/

PHP, retrieving specific image from an album as a thumbnail for that particular album
I tell you what went wrong. You return an array containing arrays with your get_images_gallery function. You itterate over the albums array with your foreach and ONLY over the albums so what you could do to make your code work is this: </p><img src="admin/uploads/', $images[0]['album'],'/',$images[0]['id'],'.', $images[0]['ext'],'"title="Uploaded', date(' DM Y/h:i',$images[0]['timestamp']), '"alt="hello" height="100px" width="100px"/> If this isn't giving you the desired output you have to itterate over the images inside the albums loop again

How can I upload multiple photos in one post on Google+ from G+ Android SDK?
It should work with addStream() method, unfortunately... it doesn't work. Indeed it makes the application crash. After a long search, I finally got it: it's not possible if using the simplified G+ SDK! (the one dedicated to Android). There is a second one, included in the Google API family that you can find there: http://code.google.com/p/google-api-java-client/wiki/APIs#Google+_API This one will let you build more advanced post, included, several pic one. Unfortunately the second SDK is much more low level, not dedicated to Android, it's a kind of Java abstraction over http request. Regards

Upload image from Android to Google Cloud Storage or Google App Engine Blobstore
Long time ago when app engine existed, google cloud storage doesn't exists yet so the way to store blobs is with blobstore. Now it existed they made the api for blobstore work with google cloud storage as well. Both work with image serving/manipulations. But cloud storage I think is also built in cdn which serves to closest edge server while blobstore when downloading will be coming from your appengine instance. Uploading to either of this works the same way, from your client you need to request an upload url session where it will then be uploaded directly to blobstore/cloud storage when you post to that url send_to_client_url = blobstore.create_upload_url('/yourHandler') HttpClient.post file to send_to_client_url yourHandler recieves a blob row then store blobKey to your datastore as re

Google Chrome load image from cache slower than download
Not super useful, but my solution to this issue was to encode the images as data URI's. Duplicating the images (as I was doing) or pulling from the cache is about 10-50ms then. If you're loading your images through AJAX you'll have to watch out for CORS concerns then, but if you're loading them server side you'll just need to figure out if you can inline them without making your page load take too long.

Android Google Map api v2 returns null?
Taken from SupportMapFragment documentation: A GoogleMap can only be acquired using getMap() when the underlying maps system is loaded and the underlying view in the fragment exists. This class automatically initializes the maps system and the view; however you cannot be guaranteed when it will be ready because this depends on the availability of the Google Play services APK. If a GoogleMap is not available, getMap() will return null. Then, in your Activity you can use GooglePlayServicesUtil to check about the availability: // Try to obtain the map from the SupportMapFragment. mMap = ((SupportMapFragment) getSupportFragmentManager().findFragmentById(R.id.map)).getMap(); // Check if we were successful in obtaining the map. if (mMap != null) { // Setup your map... } else { in

Android - Getting Album Artist from Cursor
I think what you are looking for is MediaStore.Audio.Albums.ARTIST, which you can look up as the second part of a two-stage process. Cursor cursor = getActivity().managedQuery( MediaStore.Audio.Albums.EXTERNAL_CONTENT_URI, new String[] {MediaStore.Audio.Albums._ID, MediaStore.Audio.Albums.ARTIST}, MediaStore.Audio.Albums._ID+ "=?", new String[] {albumId}, null); Where albumId is the album id of the song, ie what you have gotten in your earlier query: MediaStore.Audio.Media.ALBUM_ID Think of MediaStore.Audio.ALBUMS as metadata about all your albums. MediaStore.Audio.Media.ALBUM refers to the album this audio file is from. Media is always metadata about each individual file.

Is it possible to retrieve album art from remote mp3 file in Android?
Looking at the source code for MediaMetadataRetriever (not from the official Android repo, but it should still be similar, if not equivalent) showed me this: if (uri == null) { throw new IllegalArgumentException(); } And this: ContentResolver resolver = context.getContentResolver(); try { fd = resolver.openAssetFileDescriptor(uri, "r"); } catch(FileNotFoundException e) { throw new IllegalArgumentException(); } if (fd == null) { throw new IllegalArgumentException(); } FileDescriptor descriptor = fd.getFileDescriptor(); if (!descriptor.valid()) { throw new IllegalArgumentException(); } Your exception is coming from one of those blocks. From looking at the MediaMetadataRetriever documentation and source code, it seems to me that the file has to be on the device.

Trying to load image using ImageIO.read(class.getResource(URL)) but getResource is returning null
This problem is basically unrelated to ImageIO, but rather how Class/ClassLoader.getResource or getResourceAsStream works. For an explanation, see this answer. In any case, these ways of obtaining a resource will only be able to read from classpath (ie. user.dir will never help here). This should work: ImageIO.read(getClass().getResource("/path/to/resource")); Where the path is relative to the root of the classpath (specified by the leading /). If your resources are not on the classpath, simply use: ImageIO.read(new File("path/to/resource"); Where the path is relative to the directory your application was launched from.

SDWebimage to load image in custom UITableViewCell, but when scroll the image load in other cell random
Your table cells are being reused as you scroll. This means that when the image load finishes, the cell might not "belong" to the original URL anymore. What you should do is set the image to nil in tableView:cellForRowAtIndexPath: to clear out any reused images and then then cancel any pending requests in tableView:didEndDisplayingCell:, however this doesn't make efficient use of network bandwidth. A better approach would be to move your image loading code into the table controller (using SDWebImageManager) and have it wait to look up the proper cell once the image has finished loading.
