Outlook 2013 Cutting off top of image?
The way I fixed this was to not use line-height and instead set the image to display block and this fixed the image issues and still removed the white space underneath <td><img src="http://domain.com/image.png" style="display:block;"></td> Hope this helps someone!

Bullet Point Image alignment Issues in Outlook 2013
That is strange as it looks like it should work fine... Maybe try setting the width on your table and all cells so that the total widths all add up to the same. You could also simplify your code by swapping out your rows with something like this: <tr> <td valign="top" align="right" width="27"> <img src="https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/dnx-sap-01/324/3/BulletGold_Roundtest.jpg" width="7" height="11" style="margin: 0; border: 0; padding: 0; display: block;" /> </td> <td valign="top" width="273" style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#222222; font-size:11px;"> <b>Guide:</b> <a href="http://www.sap.com/">How to get started with Big Data</a> </td> </tr> You should always use

How to handle Outlook's "Outlook is using an old copy of your data file (.ost). Exit outlook and blablabla" error at an API level using VBScript?
You could try to avoid the use of outlook.ost at all. Turn off cached mode (for Exchange) or turn off any Send/Receive settings for folders. Close Outlook and rename outlook.ost to .old. Open Outlook and check too see if outlook.ost is not created again.

MS Outlook 2013 deletes custom categories added into MasterCategoryList via Exchange Web Services API
If the issue is in Outlook, not Exchange, maybe you can try something along these lines: SOAP call to retrieve Master Category List: <soap:Envelope xmlns:mes="http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/services/2006/messages" xmlns:typ="http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/services/2006/types" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"> <soap:Header> <typ:RequestServerVersion Version="Exchange2010" /> </soap:Header> <soap:Body> <mes:GetUserConfiguration> <mes:UserConfigurationName Name="CategoryList"> <typ:DistinguishedFolderId Id="calendar"/> </mes:UserConfigurationName> <mes:UserConfigurationProperties>All</mes:UserConfigurationProperties>

Removing padding from Outlook 2007, 2010, and 2013 when applying background color in body
There is a bunch of stuff in the HTML Boilerplate that could be related, so try putting these in your style tag: html {width: 100%;} body {width:100% !important;} .ReadMsgBody, .ExternalClass {width:100%; display:block !important;} table td {border-collapse: collapse; mso-table-lspace:0pt; mso-table-rspace:0pt;} #backgroundTable {margin:0; padding:0; width:100% !important;} p.MsoNormal {margin: 0px} I always put this stuff in the head of each email, so I'm not exactly sure if any or all will make a difference in your case, but I'd suggest always putting at least some of the HTML Boilerplate CSS in there to normalize the code on every email. Other than that, try adding 'px' to your 0 values (stupid I know but email is like that sometimes), or take a look at any nested table, making s

How to drag files from c# winforms app to outlook message
I just tested some other stuff on a machine running .NET 4.0 (app was compiled in .NET 4.5), after changing .NET target to 4.0 and recompiling it does work, dragging files into a new outlook message, very strange, might be a problem when migrating to .NET 4.5 later... but for now it works...

How to download/upload files from/to SharePoint 2013 using CSOM?
I would suggest reading some Microsoft documentation on what you can do with CSOM. This might be one example of what you are looking for, but there is a huge API documented in msdn. // Starting with ClientContext, the constructor requires a URL to the // server running SharePoint. ClientContext context = new ClientContext("http://SiteUrl"); // Assume that the web has a list named "Announcements". List announcementsList = context.Web.Lists.GetByTitle("Announcements"); // Assume there is a list item with ID=1. ListItem listItem = announcementsList.Items.GetById(1); // Write a new value to the Body field of the Announcement item. listItem["Body"] = "This is my new value!!"; listItem.Update(); context.ExecuteQuery(); From: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/fp179912.aspx

Outlook add-in using redemption in 32 and 64 bit Outlook version
The correct dll will be loaded by the COM system, not your code. As long as both versions are correctly installed and registered in the registry, your code will work without any modifications. Note however that you will not be able to install the 64 bit version of the dll on a 32 bit machine. You might want to look into using RedemptionLoader - you will skip COM registration completely, and RedemptionLoader will load the right dll for you based on the process bitness.

How to open outlook mail (.oft) format in outlook template when used in in jsp?
If you are using Tomcat, you can explicit the mime-type for this file in <tomcat-root>/conf/web.xml : <mime-mapping> <extension>oft</extension> <mime-type>application/vnd.ms-outlook</mime-type> </mime-mapping> Searching more, I've not found any official documentation about the above configuration as if you can set it in <application-root>/WEB-INF/web.xml, you can try a custom Filter : @WebFilter(urlPatterns = "*.oft") public class MimeTypeFilter implements Filter { public void doFilter(ServletRequest request, ServletResponse response, FilterChain chain) throws ServletException, IOException { response.setContentType("application/vnd.ms-outlook"); chain.doFilter(request, response); } public void init

how to change date format in cursor from 'May 4 2013 2:28AM' to '2013-05-04 02:28:34.000'
IMHO, your date variable @date must be a datetime, also variable where you stored the value cursor must be datetime In this way, when you treat these variables you can compare them without problems. About a more complete answer please post your SQL code.

Exception and endlessly growing designer generated code in InitializeComponent when using Steema TeeChart for .NET 2013 4.1.2013.05280 - What to do?
Thanks for reporting. I could reproduce the issue and added it (TF02016626) to the defect list to be fixed for next releases. We have found that in VS2012 saving the form (form only, not the complete project) before closing it doesn't produce the exception. Alternatively, the only solution I can think of for now is using Gantt series at run-time, for example: Steema.TeeChart.Styles.Gantt gantt1 = new Steema.TeeChart.Styles.Gantt(tChart1.Chart); gantt1.FillSampleValues();

And then convert it to whatever format. var s:String ="22/08/2013" var simpleDateFormat:SimpleDateFormat = new SimpleDateFormat("dd/mm/yyyy"); var date:Date = simpleDateFormat.parse(s); val ans = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy/mm/dd").format(date) println(ans)

Can't install MS Project 2013 after installing Office 2013
You have to remove all the beta versions of Office 2013. After this I could install Office 2013 and Visio 2013 without any problems and the cause is probably the Prooffing Tools. I had the same issue. Here is small guide to remove Prooffing tools (That are not appearing to appwiz.cpl = system application). Go to %windir%installer Right click titlebar and select subject Go each msi through (Subject value) and you'll find some prooffing tools preview installed. (or something else from preview) Right click it and choose "Uninstall" After that you should be able to install Office 2013 RTM You can also see if this can help you.

How to move large number of files files on disk to HDFS sequence files
Seems like a few lines of code with Camel. i.e. from("file:/..").to("hdfs:..") plus some init and project setup. Not sure how much easier (less lines of code) you can do it using any method. If the HDFS options in Camel is enough for configuration and flexibility, then I guess this approach is the best. Should take you just a matter of hours (or even minutes) to have some test cases up and running.

Automate Outlook from COM+
You need to clarify a bit here. You say you want to automate Outlook, but not take a dependency on it. That's just weird unless you're abstracting the concept of an email client, which does not seem to be your motivation. Assuming you do take a dependency on the interop assembly, you could check for broken/invalid references before your application actually uses that reference. See here.

You can assume that the email will be unread, so you should be able to use Items.Find/FindNext to look for the unread messages. Or you can store the date of the last processed e-mail and, again, use Items.Find/FindNext to search for messages with CreationTime greater than some value.

How to transform a string "28 JUN 2013" in another string "2013-06-28"
As simple as using DateTime.Parse DateTime val = DateTime.ParseExact("28 JUN 2013", "dd MMM yyyy", null) *Note: you may not need ParseExact if this date format is default understood, which I believe it is. So this should work as well in your case, and it would also handle other default uses: DateTime val = DateTime.Parse("28 JUN 2013") If you have several non-standard date conversions to support you may need to try several DateTime.ParseExact options in a if/else if loop or try/catch block. Note Andrew M's comment for a better approach to multiple formats: There's an overload of DateTime.ParseExact which takes an array of formats: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/332de853.aspx – Andrew Morton The full month format string would look like: DateTime val = DateTime.ParseExac

The following discussion may be helpful: What guidelines for HTML email design are there? Some basic tips: Use tables for layout. Set your widest table to be maximum of 600px wide. Don't try and use JavaScript or Flash Don't use CSS in a style tag as some mail clients will discard it. Use inline CSS styles only.

Filtering Outlook items using C#
I used the code below and it works perfectly. I probably use too much 'IncludeRecurrences = false' but it works ;) I had to do that, or it acts weird (I think 'IncludeRecurrences' compares things differently) Just put the calendar as first parameter and pDateToRead as the date you want. (For example) var calendar = outlook.GetNamespace("MAPI").GetDefaultFolder(OlDefaultFolders.olFolderCalendar); var calendarItems = GetCalendarItemsOnDate(calendar, DateTime.Today); Actual method: public static IEnumerable<Outlook.AppointmentItem> GetCalendarItemsOnDate(this Outlook.MAPIFolder pCalendarFolder, DateTime pDateToRead) { var filter = "( [Start] >= '" + pDateToRead.ToString("MM/dd/yyyy") + "'" + " AND " + " [End] < '" + pDateToRead.AddDays(1).ToString("MM/dd/yyyy") + "'

Simple Outlook 2010 add-in
I'm not familiar with TFS, but it sounds like you can handle that part already. Presumably there's some sort of command line option that will work there. It sounds like the problem is detecting the link, and triggering your code in the first place. The active item selected in an explorer (the main window of Outlook) is available from the Selection attribute of the Explorer. You can grab Explorer events in essentially the same way as Inspectors-the one you want is SelectionChange. For Inspectors, you can get at the current item from Inspector.CurrentItem. Once you have the item, check if it's a MailItem, cast and work with the Body property. You could also add a button to the inspector/explorer's ribbon, and use that rather than altering the messages themselves. On click, examine the item

Img src not loaded in Outlook email
The problem is the file type. HTML emails should only use .gif or .jpg. Try with a new picture format. I suppose you use a .png file because it has transparency? It saddens me that I have to tell you this, but you'll be better off faking transparency with split images in nested tables. That's the only way for a html-email not to break.
