Restarting firefox using the developer console (shift+F2) makes every restarted window have the developer console open
The Developer Toolbar is a global thing, just like any other toolbar (e.g. Nav Bar or Bookmarks Bar). Firefox will remember the visiblity state and will restore it when opening new windows, either the usual way, or after a restart.

Google location API: request location updates with pending intent?
You can either register Broardcast Reciever or Activity through pending intent.Sample Example for registering boardcast reciever: String proximitys = "ACTION"; IntentFilter filter = new IntentFilter(proximitys); registerReceiver(mybroadcast, filter); Intent intent = new Intent(proximitys); PendingIntent proximityIntent = PendingIntent.getBroadcast(this, 0, intent, PendingIntent.FLAG_CANCEL_CURRENT); locationManager.requestLocationUpdates(provider, mintime, mindistance, proximityIntent); Your Broardcast Reciever: public class ProximityIntentReceiver extends BroadcastReceiver { @SuppressWarnings("deprecation") @Override public void onReceive(Context arg0, Intent intent) { //action to be performed }

A/B testing app features via Google Play Developer Console
Not that I now of. Try Kii's A/B Testing (just released). They have an SDK for Android (among others). Not integrated with Google Play Developer console though (they have their own dev console) so I'm not sure if this is a valid alternative for you. http://en.kii.com/optimize/ab-testing/ Just my 2 cents. Best.

Android App: Change Price on Google Play Developer Console (Alpha, Beta)
read the legal stuff, it will tell you that once you price something as free, you can never go back. but, if you start out paid, you can change as you like unless you go free...then back to neverbackland. alpha and beta are free by design, you shouldnt charge for those.

Google Chrome Developer Tools has stopped logging output and errors to the console?
On the bottom of the devtools window, to the left of the error and warning icons, there should be a set of console output filter buttons. See below for a description of the filter options. Note the funnel button to the left of the "All" button. You must check the type of output you want in the funnel-menu. The funnel menu is active for all filter-button options. So if you select the "Logs" button but have "Logging" unchecked in the funnel-menu, there will be no logging output. Both funnel-menu and filter-buttons can be multi-selected. Ctrl-click, Windows, or Cmd-click, OSX, to select multiple filter-buttons. From the docs All—Shows all console output. Errors—Only show output from console.error() Warnings—Only show output from console.warn() Logs—Only show output from console

Android Alpha, Beta for Paid Apps on Google Play Developer Console
AFAIK all users of a paid app, will need to pay for it. So also Alpha/Beta users. If you want them to test the app without paying for it, then you can distribute the app through e-mail or web, etc... without using the Play Store NO. You also can't change a free app to a paid app in a later stage. yes, but only test users will get the alpha/beta version. If you want users to test your app for free in the Play store and sell your app to the general public, then you could distribute your app in an obfuscated name with irrelevant description for free for testers, and the real app, with the real name/description etc will be paid

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8020 not showing up on Google Play Store Developer Console's device list
I have the same problem. The 'ironic' (or panic) thing is I have 2 very similar app on the store (basically one is the light version of the other). The lighter is available and says 1582 compatible devices, the bigger is not visible with 1487 devices. BUT ALSO IN 1582 DEVICE LIST THERE IS NO GALAXY GT-N8020!!!! The only difference in the manifest are the permissions for the GPS <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION" /> <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION" /> <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_LOCATION_EXTRA_COMMANDS" /> everithing else is identical (also 80% of the code). Can't really understand!

How to fix the “pending” status in Chrome Developer Window?
This is due to the Ad-block or some plugin you are using with the chrome. Disabling the ad-block/plugin which blocks the requests will fix your issue. It blocks all the requests and so it is pending. Try to fix this way and share the status.

New apk uploaded and getting “Supported devices 0” on my developer console
I got that error once. I think what I did was I reverted back to the old version and re-upload the apk. If that doesn't work, Archive your current version and upload a new version - this will mean you will have to modify you app so that it's the next version up before you can upload a new apk.

How can I upload translated descriptions of an android app to the developer console?
Unfortunately, Google Play does not offer any API that allows you to upload descriptions, screenshots, updated APKs etc. At best, you could spend a fair amount of time figuring out the various requests they use to insert data into the server, and emulate them from a small Java program. However, this probably isn't worth the trouble, as it would take really long to figure out the data in and the format of the various POST and GET requests.

ie9 is clearing the developer console after the page finishes loading
The console could be clearing on mistake because it's received an (inaccurate) notification that the page has been navigated. You can turn off that behavior from the F12 menu: Tools -> Clear Entries on Navigate -> Console (untick) Does that workaround the issue?

In Durandal how can you get a handle to the active VM in debug or developer tool console?
In chrome developer tools you can put break points in your viewmodels and step through the code. Also, durandal logs your viewmodel objects that have been composed to the console.log so you can see the state at which they were bound to a view. Here is another way which is just making use of the mechanics of requirejs to get a reference to your viewmodel object programmatically. Just type something like this into your chrome console: require(['durandal/pluggins/router','yourViewModel'], function (router, vm) { // here you can do whatever you want now to your router or vm. vm.someproperty('changed'); router.activateRoute('page2'); }); You can even make a global reference to the objects you want to change by doing this in the console: require(['durandal/pluggins/router','yo

Once your updated app is uploaded to the Developer Console, how long will it take for users be notified
1.. For me it usually took anything from 24h to 3,4 days for a notification to show in users phones. ---Sometimes it wouldnt show as a single notification, rather it would pop on a regular check for updates that the google play services app does by it self, when all apps that have updates show up in noifications. 2.. You cant push the notification officially through google play. But you can push the notification using other means when you update your app. (GCM for ex.) . But still this doesnt mean the user will update the app. You cant force them to update, only offer it to them. You arent also forced to do software updates for your phone ;)

How to automatically inject JavaScript into web pages such that its variables can be accessed from the developer console
UPDATE (7/7/2013): I was updating to Firefox v22 and found out that on this latest version (or the last few versions as well... I'm not sure) the built-in Web Developer tool has a Javascript Scratchpad (press Shift + F4 to pull it up) that will let you type in some code or, in your case, load a JS file and run it on a loaded page. I haven't tested it extensively but I added a couple of variables to an existing page and they were both accessible via the built-in console as well as Firebug's console. Just do File > Open File to open your JS file and then do Execute > Run. One option is to create a bookmarklet (reusable and can be injected into any page) but it works only for the simplest script. See: here

Determine if Android .APK has been pushed live in the Play Store Developer Console (or elsewhere)?
The Developer Console has all of those statistics and more. From your Console, click your app, then select "Statistics" from the menu on the left. It should be at the very top. Once there, you'll find options to sort the data, including by App Version. That will show you how many apps have upgraded, and how many haven't!

nltk k-means clustering or k-means with pure python
If I understand your question correctly, something like this should work. The hard part of kmeans is to find the cluster centers, if your already found the centers or know what centers you want, you can: for every point find a distance to each cluster center and assign the point to the closest cluster center. (As a side note sklearn is a great package for clustering and machine learning in general.) In your example it should look like this: Levenstein # levenstein function is not my implementation; I copied it from the # link above def levenshtein(s1, s2): if len(s1) < len(s2): return levenshtein(s2, s1) # len(s1) >= len(s2) if len(s2) == 0: return len(s1) previous_row = xrange(len(s2) + 1) for i, c1 in enumerate(s1): current_row =

consumptionState from Google Play Android Developer API
Unable to add a comment, but I agree. The values I get back from the Purchase Status API do seem to be the opposite way to the API documentation. I have confirmed that my unmanaged item purchases are consumed by my app code where appropriate, and each shows a consumptionState code of 1 via the API call on my server. The one managed item I have, which is not consumed by the app shows a consumptionState code of 0. I've submitted a bug report on the API documentation page, and will update here if I get any response. https://developers.google.com/android-publisher/v1_1/inapppurchases#resource

how to get user's posts & updates from Google plus like facebook
From a backend server you can easily perform this API call to read a user's public activities. You can see the REST API here: https://developers.google.com/apis-explorer/#p/plus/v1/plus.activities.list Combine this with a people.list and you can query for a user's friend activities on Google+. On iOS, you probably don't want to make these API calls directly from a user's device. If you can, you should offload the work to a backend server to avoid overworking the mobile client. That said, you can perform an API query similar to listing people in circles: GTLQueryPlus *query = [GTLQueryPlus queryForActivitiesListWithUserId:@"me" collection:@"public"]; [[[GPPSignIn sharedInstance] plusService] executeQuery:query completionHandler:^(GTLServiceTicket

Distribute Google Apps Script and push updates
The easiest way to distribute an specific (bounded) script is indeed to create a template spreadsheet with the script in it. The Gallery is suitable if your script is more generic and can be used by anyone. Now, there's no great solution to push changes to script's copies, doesn't matter how you distribute your script, because in the end each "installation" is an independent copy, not linked to the original. The easiest, but still cumbersome, way of doing this is to use a library. You place all your logic inside a library and only the boilerplate inside the scripts that will be copied. i.e. an onOpen and onEdit functions and stub menu functions. Something like this: function onOpen(e) { return Lib.onOpen(e); } function onEdit(e) { return Lib.onEdit(e); } function stub1() { return Lib.st

Is there a time delay between updates of Google Chrome cookies sqlite database
I think I have found the answer to my question here in Chromium developer section. According to it, SQLitePersistentCookieStore updates the database every thirty seconds (when it has something to update it about) or if the queue gets too large. As Google Chrome draws its source code from Chromium (open source), so it's safe to say that it applies to chrome too.

In Jenkins, if next trigger build is in pending state then how to abort running build and start running next pending build?
Based on the comments, if sending too many emails is the actual problem, you can use Poll SCM to poll once in 15 minutes or so, or even specify quiet time for a job. This will ensure that build is taken once in 15 minutes. Users should locally test before they commit. But if Jenkins itself is used for verifying the commits I don't see anything wrong in sending an email if build fails. After all, they are supposed to know that, no matter even if they fixed it in a later update intentionally or unintentionally. But if you still want to abort a running job if there are updates, you can try the following. Lets call the job to be aborted as JOB A Create another job that listens on updates same as that of the job that needs to be aborted Add build step to execute groovy script In the groovy s

Using Google Chrome's console to perform searches
You will need some basic understanding of javascript and DOM to do this. If your site has a simple form for searching, you could use something like this. document.getElementById('IdOfSearchField').value = 'test'; document.getElementById('IdOfSearchForm').submit(); What is does is that it fiends the searchfield and sets its value to "test" and then it submits the search form. On this site (sorry for it being in Swedish, it was the one I was currently working on) you could use the following to search for 'test'. document.getElementById('query').value = 'test'; document.getElementById('SpeedSearchForm').submit(); If your site has jQuery loaded you could simplify this a bit. $('#query').val('test'); $('#SpeedSearchForm').submit(); Another way of doing it would be to navigate directl
