What is the best way to host asp web application under Default Web Site (port 80) AND as new website (port xxxx) at the same time?
The easiest solution would be to add an binding of the default web site to the port needed. This can be done with two or three clicks in the IIS-Manager. The clean way is to use ~/ and runat="server" wherever you need a link.

Default port for SQL-Azure
You hostname should be the server name (xxxx7iuiuh6.database.windows.net), and the port is also 1433 in SQL Azure (now called SQL Database). You may also want to force the TCP protocol which is the only one supported; try the hostname as tcp:xxxx7iuiuh6.database.windows.net Note that in some applications, the username should be , so in your case your user name can be either "yourusername" or "yourusername@xxxx7iuiuh6".

How can I change default port number of Activemq
I believe your problem is there is already something running on port 61616. (It could be another instance of ActiveMQ you started on accident). You can change the port for ActiveMQ in the activemq.xml file. Just do a find on 61616 and replace it with the port you would like to use (it should be in the <transportConnector> tag with the name openwire). You do not have to install ActiveMQ, simply launch activemq.bat in the bin folder to start the standalone service.

Python urllib2 exception nonnumeric port: 'port/'
The exception is thrown because you have a faulty proxy configuration. On POSIX systems, the library looks for *_proxy environment variables (upper and lowercase). For a HTTP URL, that's the http_proxy environment variable. You can verify this by looking for proxy variables: import os print {k: v for k, v in os.environ.items() if k.lower().endswith('_proxy')} Whatever value you have configured on your system is not a valid hostname and port combination and Python is choking on that.

Apache httpd vs. Tomcat 7: port 80 vs. port 8080
The difference is mostly historical at this point, but still enforced by Linux and most Unix implementations that I can think of. Unix/Linux considers any port number < 1024 to be "privileged" and requires root privs to bind to them. Any user should be able to bind to ports higher than 1024. If your software package is of a certain vintage it expects to be started as root, bound to a port, and optionally it will then change effective UID to a non-privileged user. Apache HTTPD falls into this category. Software packages created later on (ie Apache Tomcat) typically went the route of doing everything with a non-privileged user and binding to a higher port number by default. Some firewall admins can, I'm sure, go into detail about how port < 1024 will sometimes get special treatme

How to run "Deployd" on port 80 instead of port 5000 in webserver.
According to these docs of the internal API: http://docs.deployd.com/docs/developing-modules/internal-api/server.html You can pass in an options object when creating the server. So something like this should work var deployd = require('deployd'), options = { port : 80 }, server = deployd(options);

You don't really want to limit ports as much as you want to limit threads, that's why many servers use a threadpool that contains way less threads than the amount of available ports.

The size passed to bind() is wrong. Assuming sa_loc is declared as: struct sockaddr_in sa_loc; It shall be: ret = bind(sock_descriptor, (struct sockaddr *) &sa_loc, sizeof(struct sockaddr_in)); or even better (and less error prone): ret = bind(sock_descriptor, (struct sockaddr *) &sa_loc, sizeof(sa_loc)); Btw: It's done correctly in the call to connect().

Obj-C: How to make UDP packet's Source Port consistent in GCDAsyncUdpSocket? source port alway change
The reason of variable port number is I am using ARC. The instance might not be released at next time alloc and init. Everytime I call this part code I create a new GCDAsyncUdpSocket object, then try to bind the port and then send the message. These objects are being dealloced only at a later time when I use ARC. So, actually I am trying to bind to the port several times which is not possible. Once the port is bound, I cannot bind it any more.

Grunt debugging from Webstorm
You have to run grunt-cli as a Node application: Create a new Node.js Run/Debug configuration: Run->Edit configurations... In Path to Node choose your node binary, ie: /Users/someuser/nvm/v0.10.5/bin/node In Working Directory, choose your Gruntfile.js directory, ie /Projects/someproject In Path to Node App JS File, choose your Grunt CLI path (you can choose the grunt-cli symlink created on your node bin directory, WebStorm will use the symlink target), ie: /Users/someuser/nvm/v0.10.5/lib/node_modules/grunt-cli/bin/grunt (C:UserssomeuserAppDataRoaming pm ode_modulesgrunt-cliingrunt on Windows 7) In Application parameters enter the Grunt task to run, ie test Click on Run or Debug and you are done :)

How to run build.dart in WebStorm?
OK, thanks to LazyOne's hint I was able to dig a bit deeper. The solution to this is to create a File Watcher in WebStorm with the following options: Scope: Project Files Program: [your path to]dart-sdkindart.exe Arguments: build.dart Working Directory: $ProjectFileDir$ This will run the build.dart every time a file in your project changes, pretty much exactly like the Dart Editor.

Setup Jade With webstorm on MAC
The EISDIR error is caused when a Node application expects a file, but gets a directory. This particular instance of that error was thrown by this block of code: fs.writeFile(path, output, function(err){ if (err) throw err; console.log(' 33[90mrendered 33[36m%s33[0m', path); }); You can tell because it's not error number 156, but the line number of the relevant code. Do you, by any chance have a directory named main.html in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/HTMLCodes/Sports/public_html? Also, you should be able to just execute the command, jade main.jade without the second argument. That would seem to make your life easier. Though if your dead set on using Webstorm on a Mac, this configuration should work equally well, or to keep it really simple, just put $File

Webstorm language service currently only works with 0.8.x, The typescript language service inside WebStrom does not understand the changes made in 0.9.x, and since the TypeScript language service api changed (for the better imho) from 0.8 to 0.9 its not a drop in replacement. A new version of WebStorm with these features is on the way though (should be soon).

Well, you cannot. I think you're talking about the multiple cursors that are present in Sublime Text 2. But, if your text is aligned, then you can change it using the ALT + CLICK and dragging that. You can vote for this feature as lena mentions. UPDATE This feature is now supported in Webstorm 8. If you press the ALT key and click on a different location, you will get a separate cursor there. Before, you could only drag and create cursors in the same line, however, now you can place your cursor wherever you want to. Please take a look at this video to learn more.

Deploying AngularJS Seed application in WebStorm
I use WebStorm 7, so there might be some discrepancy in comparison with version 6 that you're using, but the over-all functionality is the same. Quick solution: Open the file in the editor and right click in the code to access the context menu. Choose the "Debug" option, which should start a debug session pointing to the current page. Configuration solution: WebStorm supports configurations for setting up different debugging scenarios. From the "Run" menu, choose the "Configurations" option. Add a JavaScript debug configuration, and add the URL you want in the designated field within the dialog presented. Then, when you initialize a debugging session (a general one, not one for a specific page), you're presented a small dialog that allows you to choose a debug configuration. Maybe ther

Webstorm don't recognize node.js third party modules
It seems that the '..params' module is exporting a constructor function that constructs an object which has kioskParams as an attribute. And the constructor itself doesn't have an attribute called kioskParams. It can be easier understood if you write it like this: var SyParams = require('../params'); // The module exports a constructor ... var syParams = new SyParams(); // You construct the actual object syParams.kioskParams; //Then you access its members

How do you set up Webstorm 6.0 to breakpoint debug a nodejs application?
I use webstorm and it's great. Having looked at that documentation, I agree. If you're just starting out, you don't need all the remote and attach to existing processes options. The easiest option would be to rightclick on your main js file and choose debug. Setting breakpoints is the same as in most editors these days, just click left of the line. If you don't get the debug option when you right click then you need to make a run/debug configuration which sounds worse than it is. Select "Run" -> "Edit configurations". Click the plus sign. Choose "Node.js" Click on the browse ... button on the Path to Node App js file and choose the file you want to debug Click Ok. Click on the bug!

Closure Compiler annotations in WebStorm 6, how to use Record Types?
The first example the annotation is incorrectly applying to socket.on, not to the callback function. In addition, the annotation is formatted incorrectly. An @param tag describes exactly one parameter and it's type. You are attempting to describe two. Also, record types only need one set of braces surrounding them. Here's one way that might look: /** * @param {string} eventName, * @param {function({ pageId: string })} callback */ socket.on = function(eventName, callback) {}; socket.on('page:getSource', function (data) { //data = { pageId: id } console.log(data.pageId) }); Your second example seems correct - but since the socket.on definition wasn't provided I can't verify. Here's a similar test case that does work: // ==ClosureCompiler== // @compilation_level ADVANCED_OPTI

Right click on the folder that contains your compiled javascript and select "Mark Directory As" then "Excluded". WebStorm will hide the directory from the project view, stop indexing it for searches and code completion, and not include it in code refactoring tracing. I tend to mark all build output as ignored and ensure that WebStorm is only worrying itself with the source.

Port in use by "Port currently not owned"
I can't speak for exactly why this strange error occurred, but I did find something of a solution. It seems that I was correct in assuming it was Windows being possessive. When I shut down, unplugged my device, powered on with the device still unplugged, then connected the device, the PortInUseException disappeared.
