Google geocoding API setup finding the correct ClientID and Secret
I went through the documentation and as you have rightly pointed out you do not need a business account to use the Geocoding API. If you have a non business account then you only need to pass the API key. Client ID is required only if you have a business account. The key itself is unique as mentioned below : https://developers.google.com/console/help/#WhatIsKey An API key is a unique key that you generate using the Console. When your application needs to call an API that's enabled in this project, the application passes this key into all API requests as a key=API_key parameter. Use of this key does not require any user action or consent, does not grant access to any account information, and is not used for authorization. According to the link below the Client ID is used instead of k

Geocoding API (V3) unable to return correct results for some US postal codes
I would expect Vilnius AND Sao Paulo because both have 01133 (Postal Codes are NOT unique) Yeah, that's a Google Problem, because 07470 is the "main" postal code for Wayne, NJ Check out Postal Codes here: http://www.geopostcodes.com/index.php ad 1. Similar Postal Codes for a Springfield I've found (Springfield, MA): 01101, 01103-01105, 01107-01109, 01119, 01128, 01129, 01151 - not 01133

Double tap zoom in text area - iOS, Titanium
When you zoom in / out, set the TextArea's touchEnabled method to false, so that it will not respond to the double tap functionality you have set. Add the doubletap listener to the ScrollView, and have it set the zoomScale attribute of itself to 1.0. When that happens Set the TextArea's touchEnabled to true, essentially allowing text to be copy / pasted again.

XAML/WPF zoom to a specific area on a canvas
I'm not sure if I fully understood your question. maybe pasting the xaml code would help. Potentially you can work with the "margin" property of the canvas: <Grid> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition/> <ColumnDefinition/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <!--clip to bounds for hide parts of the canvas--> <Viewbox ClipToBounds="True"> <!--set margin negatively to zoom out of the viewbox size--> <Canvas Margin="0,0,-100,-100" Width="200" Background="Red" Height="200"> <Rectangle Width="100" Height="100" Fill="Gray"/> </Canvas> </Viewbox> </Grid>

Highcharts chart going blank on zoomType: 'x' area range zoom?
I worked out what the issue was after hunting through the Highcharts API documentation. There is a property of all chart types that I'm aware of called 'cropThreshold', here is the link to the Highcharts API explaining what this is in detail: http://api.highcharts.com/highcharts#plotOptions.area.cropThreshold But in summary; if you display more than 300 points (cropThreshold defaults to 300), then when zooming in, your chart will go blank. To correct this, you can add the following to your chart configuration: area: { cropThreshold: 500 <- //Vary this. I display 500 points on my chart in //total and so a value of 500 allows zooming to //work at all levels. This will vary for you

Correct zoom range values for jquery flot graph
Don't know if you figured this out. Anyway, I found this: "zoomRange" is the interval in which zooming can happen, e.g. with zoomRange: [1, 100] the zoom will never scale the axis so that the difference between min and max is smaller than 1 or larger than 100. You can set either of them to null to ignore. here: http://code.google.com/p/flot/source/browse/trunk/jquery.flot.navigate.js?r=186

On hovering mouse on image to zoom magento displaying zoomed image twice either on zoom and in background zoom block
first of all thanks for posting your site URL. As i trace your html code on live site. To solve your issue that would be 2 ways to solve it. 1) As i seen your third image has white background so it is not visible in background of same image when we are applying zoom effect on it, but another 2 images of mug are display in back ground, the main thing i notice that for 2 mug images are transperant images and 3rd one is not transparent. so here i am suggesting to you to make background of image white or 2) You can apply effect of color when user will show image in zoom. Let me know if i can help you more.

What are the map scales related to mapquest's zoomlevels?
There are a few things going on here. Let me step through it as I understand it. First, I believe what you are seeing in the Mapquest link is the ratio. So for zoomlevel 16,15,14: 14 = 1:27083 15 = 1:13541 16 = 1:6770 Although the link doesn't specify it, that should be in meters. So in zoom level 14, every pixel represents 27083 meters. Additionally, the Bing maps ratios are found here. They are pretty close to the numbers that Mapquest reports, but they are not the same. So, why are the numbers different? Because the meters-per-pixel ratio changes depending on what latitude you are at. Because of the distortion the Mercator projection produces, the meters-per-pixel is not constant as you change latitude. The Bing maps values are the values at the equator. I don't know where the Ma

NSJSONSerialization returning null for MapQuest JSON in iOS
Paste the url in your webBrowser to see what the server actually returns. This will be something like this: renderBatch( {"results":[{"locations":[{"latLng":{"lng":-122.032921,"lat":37.258389},"adminArea4":"Santa Clara" ........ } ); This is JSON wrapped in renderBatch( and );. That's not really parsable JSON. This happens because you request a callback in your request url. Remove the callback parameter (&callback=renderBatch) from your request url and NSJSONSerilization can deserialize the JSON without problems.

Are there OpenStreetMap/MapQuest-hosted map tile attributes I am unaware of?
Of course the center differs. From one zoom level to the next, one tile is "split" into four other tiles. Consequently the center of the single tile will be located at the corners of the four tiles. Using the mentioned formula you will always get the tile which contains your coordinates. But due to the nature of tiles it won't be necessarily at the center of the tile. For each specific coordinate there is only one tile at a given zoom level containing it. Hence the coordinate can be anywhere on the tile and not necessarily at the center. Still I'm not quite sure what you actually want to achieve. For displaying tiles (and markers) all you need to do is using Leaflet or OpenLayers (or any another library supporting the tiles concept). And keep in mind that MapQuest also has terms of use.

How are you adding the pushpins to the map? If you are using some sort of clustering tool you will need to remove the pins from the clustering tool otherwise the next time the clustering algorithm runs it will read the pushpins.

Chrome Zoom issue: absolute Div top position changed while zoom ( Ctrl + )
The only thing I can suggest that should maintain the same appearance under zoom is to have your table and your "apptest" div in the same container: <div class="container"> <table class="custom">...</table> <div class="apptest"></div> </div> See the fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/mJcsb/4/ You're at a mercy of a completely proprietary algorithm though (Chrome's Zoom algorithm) so any irregularities in layout under zoom are completely possible.

Elevate Zoom adjust zoom window for different sized imagery
Not sure if this is what you asked for but a simple solution to remove zoom is by removing element data elevateZoom for the main image and destroy .zoomContainer elements. After updating zoom image element data you can re-instantiate elementZoom. However, if you want to keep the same image height for zoomContainer images you should consider having server-side image resizer and render them. Here's a solution that I came up with: var zoomConfig = {cursor: 'crosshair', zoomType: "inner" }; var image = $('#gallery_01 a'); var zoomImage = $('img#zoom_03'); zoomImage.elevateZoom(zoomConfig);//initialise zoom image.on('click', function(){ // Remove old instance od EZ $('.zoomContainer').remove(); zoomImage.removeData('elevateZoom'); // Update source for images zoomImage.a

D3js: How do I clear the zoom scale set by the d3.zoom event?
The zoom scale is stored in your zoom object. I'm guessing you have a line of code that looks like: var zoom = d3.behavior.zoom() Getting the scale from that object is simple: zoom.scale() To zoom out x2: zoom.scale( zoom.scale()/2 ) Translation works the same way, with zoom.translate() and zoom.translate( [x, y] ) to get and set. To keep the display transform in sync with the zoom, just make sure that when you update one, the other is also updated.

OpenGL Zoom in / Zoom out with Mouse/Keyboard
Personally I always liked the NeHe tutorials, many different examples are available with source code in many programming languages. The tutorial is in C but the code can be downloaded in other languages and method names are very similar usually. http://nehe.gamedev.net/ Regarding your zooming, try to translate your model coordinates into(closer to) the screen taking into account the point your zooming to (or from) (can be cursor location or just the center of the model). Another way might be to adjust the viewport but I recommend translating the model.

CSS: How to use calc(100% - 20px) to get an area to fill up all area OTHER than that of a fixed-width element?
There needs to be space between the operand, like so: width: calc(100% - 275px); Take a look at this. Right above "examples" the following note is there: Note: The + and - operators must always be surrounded by whitespace. The operand of calc(50% -8px) for instance will be parsed as a percentage followed by a negative length, an invalid expression, while the operand of calc(50% - 8px) is a percentage followed by a minus sign and a length. The * and / operators do not require whitespace, but adding it for consistency is allowed, and recommended.

When accessing the bounds of an Area from an ArrayList outside of the class it was initiated in, the Rectangle received is incorrect
You don't add the amalgamated area, but you take the first area from the arraylist and modify it. It happens exactly here: if (k == 0) { map = area; Later your add the other areas from the list to the map - which is the first area on the list. You may want to create a new area based on the first one from the list instead: if (k == 0) { map = new Area(area);

Copy Area and Paste Area Aren't The Same Size Error?
With this command: c = ActiveCell.Column you are setting c to be the entire column of the currently active cell. Next, when you use s1.Columns(c).Copy s2.Range("a2") you are copying the entire column stored in c, and then attempting to paste it into the 2nd cell in the specified column's range (a2). This results in it always having one less cell than you copied to the clipboard.

gnome-terminal font resize (zoom in, zoom out), but adjust terminal height and width contrariwise for getting a "lock in" of window dimensions
I can’t tell you for sure, but since this is GNOME and moreover GNOME 3, it’s unlikely that the Terminal has this kind of customization built-in. But in Linux, you can always improvise. How about the following. Find a program that can send keys to an X11 window. Maybe xdotool. Find a program that can control an X11 window’s geometry. Maybe xdotool. Write a short script that locates the terminal window (probably just the focused one), sends it Ctrl-Plus / Ctrl-Minus, waits a tiny bit, then sets its geometry to the one you like (or to whatever it was initially, which you can also query with xdotool). Bind this script to a keyboard shortcut of your choice, say Win+Plus / Win+Minus. No idea how to do this in modern Ubuntu / GNOME 3, but GNOME 2’s Metacity used to have GConf keys f

Footer out of alignment on zoom in / zoom out
Without seeing more of the code, or a working example of it it's difficult to get too much of an idea about what's going wrong. But I think a solution might be to have a static width on the inner-content, so for example the content that is mis-aligning itself, which I think is your "footerTable" - apply "margin:0 auto" to it to centre align it, this is assuming it's parent is 100% width, which I believe it is. Also, remove any other margin rules that apply to it.

How can I select an area on the screen and dim the unseleceted area with Python?
I can place a full-screen, semi-transparent frame on top of the screen and I can draw a rectangle on top of it. But how do I make this rectangle fully transparent while the rest of the frame remains semi-transparent? You can't. A fully-transparent rectangle is just going to show whatever's behind it, which is a semi-transparent rectangle. But you can easily just turn it around. Create a fully-transparent frame, then draw a semi-transparent region—that is, everything but your rectangle—on top of the frame. The reason the first way doesn't work is that your fully-transparent rectangle is just going to show whatever's behind it, which is a semi-transparent rectangle. There are a number of ways to draw a region like that. The simplest is to break it down into four rectangles, like
