php login register error
In your database, you are storing the password field with md5 encryption. So, while checking username and password in your login and checkuser function, you nee to check password as md5($password). Also, I wonder why you have kept the form name and submit button name same.

Django register and login - explained by example
THIS is a very good tutorial about login & Co. It explains very well how to perform login by ourself ad override existing django login pages. UPDATE: Here Overview for Registration and Login. For more details go to the link. To Register: Views and URLs Go to the lower site folder (where the settings.py file is) and open the views.py file. At the top make sure the following imports are included. Add them if not: from django.shortcuts import render_to_response from django.http import HttpResponseRedirect from django.contrib.auth.forms import UserCreationForm from django.core.context_processors import csrf Below that add the following functions (you can put them after the Login functions): def register(request): if request.method == 'POST':

hash generated on register not same as on login
The third parameter to hash determines whether the output from the hash is raw, i.e. not encoded as hexadecimal. Your salt is truthy, so the output is raw, and your database is trying to encode it as a string. You probably meant to use hash_hmac. But switch to Bcrypt anyways; a fixed salt isn’t that useful.

asp.net authorization - deny all before login except the register page
This is happening because you are denying everyone from application by using <authorization> <deny users="?" /> </authorization> Above code will override all permission given to the folder Good idea would be Deny user folderwise and keep Register/Login/Help/Contact pages at root level.

JSON and JSONParser Error -- Register and Login
Read the error, fix the error. The URL you are attempting to read from is not sending you JSON data, it is sending you an error web page (and probably a 404 response code) with text in it like The requested URL was not found on this server

Events FOSUserBundle Symfony2 on register and login
Two points: In the service definition - { name: 'kernel.event_subscriber'} is enough, no event entry. This the difference between subscriber and listener. A listener can only listen to one event, defined trough event and method params in the service definition. A subscriber can listen to multiple events, defined trough the method getSubscribedEvents(), so no further params in the service definition needed. Second point, you are type hinting against the event classes (UserEvent andFilterUserResponseEvent), but you never imported them, so PHP assumes them in the same namespace (as said in the error message). use FOSUserBundleEventUserEvent; use FOSUserBundleEventFilterUserResponseEvent;

This error indicates that your previous statement mysql_query $query = mysql_query("SELECT COUNT(`user_id`) FROM `users` WHERE `username` = '$username'"); has returned false, if you check the documentation it states that on failure mysql_query will return false. Therefore we need to come to a conclusion that your query is failing. To find out more information on why your query is failing. Include mysql_error() at the end of the statement. $query = mysql_query("SELECT COUNT(`user_id`) FROM `users` WHERE `username` = '$username'") or die(mysql_error());

Register & login to django backend from iphone app and mobile browser
If you have already integrated django-registration on your website, then you don't necessarily need to add tastypie just for login,logout etc. Check out the documentation for django-registration at https://django-registration.readthedocs.org/en/latest/quickstart.html#setting-up-urls. If you follow the steps for the default setup, that should provide you with URLs for login, logout etc. If the section on "Required Templates" doesn't make sense to you here, read more about django at http://www.djangobook.com/en/2.0/chapter04.html Once you have these URLs, you can simply make use of the AFNetworking library on iOS to create HTTP requests to login / logout etc. Typically, a django view for registration will serve GET and POST requests differently. If you make a GET request, it will format

Rails 3: Register logs in model or controller?
Logs can be used anywhere, it depends on your need to put them into right place. For this case, your logging seems related to model changes but has little to do with HTTP requests, I think the better option would be model related place. Option 1: after_save and after_update callback, not before_save. (You only want to log it after change already made effect) Option 2: Model Observer. I myself prefer Observer in this case because Log is not something inside this model so better not to use model callback. Also Observers allow you to add more things later easier. The downside is Observers are easy to be forgot, not a big deal if you can overcome it.

Why can't I register a custom model binder for a List?
Add the following event in global.asax (or add the code to your existing Application_BeginRequest handler): protected void Application_BeginRequest() { foreach (var type in ModelBinders.Binders.Keys) { System.Diagnostics.Trace.WriteLine( String.Format("Binder for '{0}': '{1}'", type.ToString(), ModelBinders.Binders[type].ToString())); } } Then you can check in the VS output window what binders are currently registered. You could see something like this: Binder for 'System.Web.HttpPostedFileBase': 'System.Web.Mvc.HttpPostedFileBaseModelBinder' Binder for 'System.Byte[]': 'System.Web.Mvc.ByteArrayModelBinder' Binder for 'System.Data.Linq.Binary':

Try: var resolver = DependencyResolver.Current; IPartyRoleFactory roleFactory = resolver.GetService<IPartyRoleFactory>(); IPartyRepository repo = resolver.GetService<IPartyRepository>(); IPartyRoleTypeRepo typeRepo = resolver.GetService<IPartyRoleTypeRepository>(); var partyRoleModelBinder = new PartyRoleModelBinder(roleFactory, typeRepo, repo); ModelBinders.Binders.Add(typeof(PartyRole), partyRoleModelBinder);

Why does this mathematical operation work? (Getting 8-bit register from 32-bit register)
"mod 256" is the remainder after division by 256. In binary, this turns out to be the lowest 8 bits (because 256 is 2 to the 8th). This is just like "mod 2" gives you the least significant bit (0 or 1). On (in decimal, base 10), "mod 100" gives you the last two decimals ( 2013 mod 100 => 13).

Custom User model for Django with Facebook Login
If your users should be enabled to login/register with username, mail and password -> use a OneToOne relationship to django's usermodel to store facebook credentials. If your usermodel entirely depends on facebook data and you don't want your users to login with username/pass -> substitute the usermodel with AUTH_USER_MODEL = 'myapp.MyUser'. You might also want to take a look at django-allauth which solves much of your problems in a sweet little package.

Why does the stock auth Login view require a username field value when I’m using a custom user model?
Right, got it. I wrote my login form HTML myself (rather than rendering it using Django’s form template tags), and my e-mail field looked like this: <input id="loginForm_email" name="email" type="email" placeholder="Your e-mail adddress"> I believe the stock auth login view requires the username-equivalent field to actually be called username, like this: <input id="loginForm_email" name="username" type="email" placeholder="Your e-mail adddress"> Once I made that change, it worked fine.

updating the selection model and proxy model after insertion into a custom model in qt
Im sure you re trying to access your model data with the indexes given by the selection model. But selection model will return indexes relative to your view's model. And It is the proxy. So to access data of your model you must map it: e.g.: Consider you have a signal on current item change: connect( p_selectionModel, SIGNAL( currentChanged(const QModelIndex &, const QModelIndex &)), this, SLOT(viewCurrentChanged(const QModelIndex &, const QModelIndex &))); On your slot: viewCurrentChanged(const QItemSelection & selected, const QItemSelection & deselected) selected will be a QModelIndex of your proxy. You could access to data through selected.data() .. But if your accessig this way: your_model->data( selected, role ) Your accessing your

Removing a belongsTo from a model shows warning Model 'x' is not associated with model 'y'
The message is been generated (most probably) because in your controller (check the ParentProductsController first) is something like $this->ParentProductsController->Product->find(); That association of models no longer exists because you wanted to get rid of it, so there's no way for ParentProducts to call Product. You need to change calls like that to ClassRegistry::init('the_name_of_the_model'); (in this case ClassRegistry::init('Product');) or load the model with $this->loadModel('Product'); Now, this only is necessary when you call models not related to the current controller. If you are calling Product->find from the ProductsController, there will be no error. Ok, that's the cause of the error. But now: I don't recommend you deleting the association. There

cakephp - how to get the data from a model->model->model type relationship
The way you have it now you are basically just calling the PaypalTransaction model and request its find to return you all transactions in the last day. $this->FirstModel->SecondModel->ThirdModel doesn't mean to connect results from the first model to the second and then to the third, it's only a way to help you load the linked model instead of using $this->loadModel('ThirdModel') to load it. So you still need to place conditions according to what you want to do. For example, if it was just one model linked (assuming $this->Booking is set to a record) you could do: $this->Booking->PaypalTransaction->find('all', array( 'conditions' => array( 'PaypalTransaction.created >' => $oneDayAgo, 'PaypalTransaction.booking_id => $this->Booking-

Java HtmlUnit login with user and password returns to login page
Looks like your code is ok. I have tried it manually and sometimes it loggins and sometimes not. The problem is in the pop-up window which appears after login operation. You can saw it from the javascript on the page: if ($("#ErrorDuplicationLogin").text() != '') { $(".PopUpContent").show(); $(".pagePopBackground").show(); } }); So try to login and logout manually and after that launch your program. Also do not forget to logout using HtmlUnit. Thank you.

Convert a 'login.php' page with form and error checking into a dropdown login instead
You just have to create the form inside the dropdown, and send the input to login.php. Something like: <form method="post" action="login.php"> <input type="text" name="username" /> <input type="password" name="password" /> <input type="submit" value="Login" /> </form> When a user submits the form, the data is sent to login.php, that will perform validation and will then redirect the user to the corresponding page. So just copy the form.

Django- why inbuilt auth login function not passing info about user to after successful login url
Once the user is redirected to accounts/profile/ the view for that link will be returned. You can access information about the currently logged in user there as per this post by using request.user. Also tip to see what information you have access to in your views. Use import pbd; pdb.set_trace(). This pops you into a python prompt with access to all of the current variables. To see all the defined variables call locals(), though this will print out a ton of junk along with it. In the template you can display a "you can't access this page" message if the user isn't logged in.

Trouble Connecting to sql server Login failed. "The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication"
Why not use a SQL Server account and pass both the user name and password? Here is the reason why. In short, it looks like you have an authentication issue. The problem with workgroups is there is no common Access Control List like Active Directory (AD). If you are using ODBC or JDBC, the wrong credentials are passed. Even if you create a local windows account (LWA) on the machine (SE) that has SQL Express installed (SELWA), the credentials that will be passed from your client machine (CM) will be CMLWA.

If I cancel Login Dialog, login error occurs: Unauthorized Access is denied due to invalid credentials
HTTP code 401 means "unauthorized". When the browser receives this error code, it assumes it's because the user needs to login. The browser displays a login dialog, and then tries again with the login details given. This is exactly what's supposed to happen. If what you're wanting is to simply refuse the request, you're after HTTP code 403, "forbidden". However, I'm not clear on why you're actually trying to achieve here. If your own server code is returning an HTTP 302 (a redirect), why are you trying to convert that to an HTTP 401/403/whatever? If you don't want to perform redirects for some reason, don't issue the redirect in the first place!
