Showing a hidden WPF window
You shouldn't be using hide in WPF that is winforms shenanigans. Instead do this.visibility = Visibility.Collapsed; ... this.visibility = Visibility.Visible; Also I saw your comment above that this doesn't work. However, I started a new WPF project, did this, built and ran it. It works. Note that there are no errors.

include an edge and produce spanning tree with least weight among those having edge
You can just set the edge weight of that edge (and any other edge you want to include in the spanning tree that would keep it a tree) by setting its weight to 0 and run your favorite MST algorithm.

How to make the HTML colors of a Bootstrap design edge-to-edge
There are a few ways to do this...but the easiest by far is to create a linear gradient background for the page, rather than straight white. This would allow the bar to go from edge to edge even if the main body of the page stops. Unfortunately, you have not given quite enough information for me to simply hand you the code for it: What is the angle of the blue stripe? Does the geometry of your page change when the browser window is resized? Specifically, does that blue banner move at all? Which browsers do you need to be able to support? If you have answers to these questions, feel free to drop them here, and I will update this answer. If you would rather take a crack at the code yourself, you can generate is at Colorzilla. The resulting code will look something like this: backgr

Extjs 4.1 - Hidden Window and show it again fail within MessageBox
The problem is that WindowManager can't see your object. You should instantiate your MyWindow object with an id, like this new MyWindow({id: 'NewWindow'}); And then you can catch your object in WindowManager and call the show() method. Working example: http://jsfiddle.net/A92yN/3/ Full code: Ext.define('MyWindow', { extend: 'Ext.window.Window', title: 'window', width:200, height:100, modal:true, closable:false, tbar: [{ text:'hide', handler:function(){ this.up('window').hide(); } }] }); Ext.onReady(function () { Ext.create('Ext.Button', { text: 'Click me', visible: false, renderTo: Ext.getBody(), handler: function() { var x = 0; Ext.WindowManager.eac

Windows Narrator reads the names of all the controls in the window (even hidden ones)
If your controls are already in the visual tree, this behavior is the normal one, because UI Automation tree based on the Visual tree. So if you want to prevent of reading unnecessary elements using screen readers, you have to load them on demand. You can also override the OnCreateAutomationPeer method in controls that contain visible and hidden elements to return your own AutomationPeer. Then you can override the GetChildrenCore method and return modified children collection. To update automation children tree, you need to call the AutomationPeer.ResetChildrenCache() method and the AutomationPeer.RaiseAutomationEvent(AutomationEvents.StructureChanged) one.

Microsoft's cryptoAPI "Microsoft Enhanced RSA and AES Cryptographic Provider" selection doesn't working on win7
I'm not sure if this is exactly what you need but by following the example on MSDN, you can make your code succeed by making two changes. First, MSDN says that MS_ENH_RSA_AES_PROV was named differently on Windows XP and should be used with a provider type of PROV_RSA_AES rather than PROV_RSA_FULL as in your code. Second, trap the initial error and repeat the acquire operation for the situation where you have to create a new key container. The following is your original code adapted according to the MSDN example, and works fine on my Windows 8 system: int _tmain(int argc, _TCHAR* argv[]) { // Handle for the cryptographic provider context. HCRYPTPROV hCryptProv; // The name of the container. LPCTSTR pszContainerName = TEXT("MyFilter_Container"); // Begin processing.

Determinig the number of hidden states in a Hidden Markov Model
"is my approach already correct?" Your current approach is correct. I have done the same thing some weeks ago and had asked the same questions. I have built a gesture recognition tool. You say you have k classes you want to recognize, so yes, you will train k HMM. For each HMM you run Forward algorithm and receive P(HMM|observation) for each hidden markov model (alternatively Viterbi decoding is also possible). Then you take the one with the highest probability. It's also correct to see the m-dimensional feature vector as a single observation symbol. Depending on what your vector looks like, you might want to use a continuous hidden markov model or a discrete hidden markov model. Working with discrete ones is often easier and easier to train with little training data. So in case your fe

Is there any way to see hidden content on a website maybe hidden cloudfront links?
It depends on how they have 'hidden' the content: If they just use display: none; or visibility: hidden; (i.e. they sytlistically hide it) then you can't see it as the browser won't render the item, but it will still exist in the HTML; if it's an image, the link to the image will be valid, or if it is text you can just read it. In your example, they are using some server-side code to limit what is actually emitted into HTML - thus there is nothing there. That way people can't just inspect the source and hack around it.

Enable built-in Microsoft Word button controls with Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word
Possible solutions of your problems: Ad 1. but first, you need to open your documents with ReadOnly: false while, according to both C# and VBA test it will not work when you set parameters to ReadOnly: true: ((Word._Document)diffDocument).Windows.CompareSideBySideWith(originalDocument); Ad 2. this time you need to refer to window object of Word Application. Here is code for active window: appWRD.ActiveWindow.View.SplitSpecial = Word.WdSpecialPane.wdPaneRevisionsVert; where: appWRD is Word.Application in my code. Ad 1 again. window.close closes the postbacked child window and a copy of child window still appears
The showModalDialog method will freeze JavaScript execution on the parent window until the dialog that it opens has closed, so we can rule out that as the reason why your second window opens. When FileUpload.aspx posts back from the server, it should work the same way as modeless aspx postbacks. I think you should be able to get rid of the window.open() method and you should be fine. Parent window: window.showModalDialog("FileUpload.aspx", "FileUpload", "center:yes;resizeable=yes;dialogHeight:300px;dialogWidth:600px;"); The Child window will call this when it's done. window.close();

As suggested by Jeremiah Willcock this code can be made to look simpler by writing boost::graph_traits<graph_t>::edge_iterator ei = edges(myGraph).first; std::advance( ei, idx ); ( In reality the code executed is the same, with the addition of a test on whether or not the iterator is random access and the function call itself )

How to get edge indices from selection?
Do you mean you just the expanded list of selected edges? That's just FilterExpand -sm 32 or cmds.filterExpand(sm=32) or pm.filterExpand(sm=32) on an edge selection. Those commands are always strings, you grab the indices out them with a regular expression: # where objs is a list of edges, for example cmds.ls(sl=True) on an edge selection cList = "".join(cmds.filterExpand( *objs, sm=32)) outList = set(map ( int, re.findall('[([0-9]+)]', cList ) ) ) which will give you a set containing the integer indices of the edges (I use sets so its easy to do things like find edges common to two groups without for loops or if tests)

Edge detection / angle
Can I ask, what C++ library are you using to code this? Jerry is right, if you actually apply a threshold to the image it would be in 2bit, black OR white. What you may have applied is a kind of limiter instead. You can make a threshold function (if you're coding the image processing yourself) by applying the limiter you may have been using and then turning all non-white pixels black. If you have the right settings, the squares should be isolated and you will be able to calculate the angle. Once this is done you can use a path finding algorithm to find some edge, any edge will do. If you find a more or less straight path, you can use the extreme points as you are doing now to determine the angle. Since the checker-board rotation is only relevant within 90 degrees, your angle should be m

Subversion Edge SVN two instance on CentOs
Yes, you can do it, but it is a very manual process. The name of the folder where you install Subversion Edge has nothing to do with the URL it is access. The URL will always be /csvn. What you can do is manually override the port numbers being used so that they are unique and you can have a second instance. There is documentation in a wiki page on how to do this: https://ctf.open.collab.net/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.svnedge/wiki/ModifyPorts Once the web console is started, you would of course also need to configure the Apache server in this second instance to be using a unique port that does not clash with the other instance. If you want to "install" init.d scripts to autostart both instances, then you also need to rename those scripts so that they do not clash. The default scr

Blending Two Images by edge with CI or GPUImage
For Core Image, it's CILinearGradient and CIBlendWithMask. If you look in the Core Image programming guide or the WWDC videos there's a tilt shift example that shows basically how to do this. I would only apply the gradient to the top layer as opposed to both like they do in the tutorial (that's how I would approach it in Photoshop, too; when you do it to both layers it's easy to wind up with some undesired transparency in the middle). When you create your linear gradient, don't just have set your points to opposite ends, instead you want to start it at one edge and end it just past the edge, like this: Set inputPoint0 to (1, 0) Set inputColor0 to (0,1,0,1) Set inputPoint1 to (.9*width, 0) Set inputColor1 to (0,1,0,0)

App crashes in Low network like(EDGE,100 %loss)
It's quite likely that _completionHandler is nil when you are calling it in the method above. Attempting to execute a block variable when the variable is nil does give a bad access error. You can confirm this by wrapping the execution of the completion handler block in an if statement and only executing it if the variable isn't nil: if(_completionHandler) { _completionHandler(YES, skProducts); } Fixing the problem is another matter, you would need to trace the calls and see when the completion block is either not passed or removed.

Find all vertices with the same edge attribute
You should be able to do the following: r69edges = g.es.select(name_eq='Route69') #Select all edges where name=='Route69' sg = r69edges.subgraph() #Create a subgraph containing only the selected edges (and attached vertices) village_verts = sg.vs.select(name_eq='villages') #Select the vertices where name=='villages' This assumes that 'villages' and 'Route69' are stored in an attribute called 'name' on the vertices and edges... Adjust appropriately to match your attributes. Of course - you can squash this all into one line if you want: village_verts = g.es.select(name_eq='Route69').subgraph().vs.select(name_eq='villages') Not sure if this is the most efficient way (though I'm not seeing any shortcuts in the documentation), but it should get you what you're after.

Image Segmentation From Edge Detection
Your use case isn't very descriptive, so I only give a general answer. Maybe you can go a bit deeper into detail of your problem you want to solve. If you aren't afraid of using modern C++ techniques, then I highly recommend OpenCV. It has a lot of features regarding image segmentation and edge detection. For example the Canny Edge Detector is fully implemented in OpenCV.
