how to set multiple option value in multiple select box after refresh the page
I'm not sure how your data is populated and presented, but here's an example: <?foreach($selects as $select):?> <?$selected = ($select->Selected === true) ? 'selected="selected"' :'';?> <select id="<?=$select->Id?>" name="<?=$select->Name?>"/> <?foreach($select->Options as $option):?> <option value="<?=$option->Value?>"<?=$selected;?>><?=$option->Text?></option> <?endforeach;?> <?endforeach;?> Or foreach($selects as $select) { $selected = ($select->Selected === true) ? 'selected="selected"' :''; echo "<select id="{$select->Id}" name="{$select->Name}"/> "; foreach($select->Options as $option) { echo "<option value="{$option->Value}"{$selected}>{$

How can refresh multiple iframes using the same ID
id stands for identity, which technically is always unique. You probably meant "same class", not "same id". Change id attribute to class. <iframe class="x123"></iframe> <iframe class="x123"></iframe> <iframe class="x123"></iframe> Access the elements using jquery: $('.x123') Look for equivalent jquery code for contentWindow.location.reload().

yii cgridview refresh casues multiple ajax cals
Do you have a RenderPartial in your controller in which you are running this code? If so, I suggest that you look for the scriptMap in Yii that prevents JQuery from running everytime this controller is used. Yii::app()->clientScript->scriptMap=array( 'jquery.js'=>false, 'jquery.yiigridview.js'=>false ); I had the same problem before. I encountered this in gridviews and other views that have an ajax action in it. Hope this helps.

Refresh local cache with multiple users making changes to a database?
You could use MemoryCache as your cache. You can then add items to your cache with a CacheItemPolicy with SqlChangeMonitor EDIT: If you are using .NET 3.5 you can still use SqlDependency get get notification of database changes and then refresh your cache when you get notifications.

Differentiate browser tab close and refresh (to detect multiple instances of application)
Differentiating browser tab close and refresh functionality is really a pain because we don't have two events to know which event being fired. But there are always some requirements :) What I'm doing is setting one cookie in on-load and making a flag true if found that cookie and removing the cookie on browser close event. So until unless the he closed the active tab(logged in tab), that cookie still there and if he tries to open in another tab, then the already active dialog comes. Note:Solution provided with help of Cookies. In Here is the onModule() for GWT / same as onload/document.ready() for java script/Jquery. @Override public void onModuleLoad() { if("already_in_browser". equalsIgnoreCase(Cookies.getCookie("already_in_browser"))){ s

Testing JavaScript With Firefox - refresh does not seem to always refresh JavaScript
This particular problem is caused by caching. It is both useful and sometimes pain. JavaScript Library like jQuery uses a simple technique when we add script to the DOM. It appends a random key at the end of file, thus faking the HTTP request as new. Normally, you would not require the script to change when viewed by the user, but when you are developing it becomes a real pain. So during those time, just add some random text at the end of every file during load or if you are too lazy to do that, send a header saying to clear the cache. In PHP something like at the top will do it: header("Cache-Control: no-cache, must-revalidate"); header("Expires: Sat, 26 Jul 1990 05:00:00 GMT");

Multiple Build Folders (multiple clients, mulitask, multiple targets) using Grunt (Yeoman)

get the id in div refresh
Aside from everything else, a big SQL injection vulnerability here. I think your issue is that you're not passing your id_user param in your script. Should it be something like this? <script type="text/javascript"> setInterval(function() { $.get('includes/honorario.php?id_user=1', function(data) { $('#honorario').html(data); }); }, 1000); </script> The idea of prepared statements is not to put variables in the query, consider: $sql = $conn->prepare("SELECT id, DATE_FORMAT(start, '%d %M %Y') AS start, honorario FROM COMPRAS WHERE id_user=? order by start ASC"); $sql->execute(array($_GET['id_user']));

Refresh content in a DIV
You would have to use ajax to load that content from the server again. You should look into push technology using websockets. Check out Ratchet for a php web socket, or do some research in web sockets in general. A simpler approach would be polling, but it is kind of rough and not really as well rounded as web sockets. Polling is what came before sockets, and sockets are definitely the way to go. There are two basic types of polling. Long polling and short polling. Long polling is going to involve hitting the server and then the server fires a background thread which waits until it gets results, then returns the results at some time, which is when the poll fires again, and the server waits etc. Short polling is where you hit the server once every x milliseconds, and then the server i

Where should refresh() be using ncurses?
getch() returns a char, such as '1', '2' or '3'. The integer values of these are 49, 50, 51. If you need the integer value, then you should subtract '0'. int n = getch() - '0'; Beware this only works with digits (0 to 9). If you enter anything else it won't give you the expected answer, so you probably want to add additional checks there.

PHP only runs in runtime, so there is no chance you can do what you just described. Your best bet is to create a very small PHP script that does the check and have an AJAX script on the frontend check every second and update the image if PHP returns that it has been updated.

Refresh Div only no scroll
Possibly, this will solve your problem (source): $('#result').load('ajax/test.html #container'); When this method executes, it retrieves the content of ajax/test.html, but then jQuery parses the returned document to find the element with an ID of container. This element, along with its contents, is inserted into the element with an ID of result, and the rest of the retrieved document is discarded. Let's say you only have 'a.html' and the id of your div is 'divId', you would need to place in your refresh() function: $('#divId').load('a.html #divId'); EDIT the code then should be (placed javascript functions inside the div and changed 'refresh' function): <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <style type

EF 4 refresh data
The problem is the method call .AsNoTracking() The AsNotracking() method is a detached list of the data, verify on the link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/data/hh949853.aspx in the 5.1 item explains this: If you are in a read-only scenario and want to avoid the overhead of loading the objects into the ObjectStateManager, you can issue "No Tracking" queries. Change tracking can be disabled at the query level. Note though that by disabling change tracking you are effectively turning off the object cache. When you query for an entity, we can't skip materialization by pulling the previously-materialized query results from the ObjectStateManager. If you are repeatedly querying for the same entities on the same context, you might actually see a performance benefit fro

can't refresh a selectOneMenu
From your code: udpate=":tabView:formSujet:listeUser" This has at least 2 (potential) mistakes. The right attribute name is update, not udpate. The one on your other button has however the right attribute name. It that still doesn't work, then the other potential mistake is that the client ID tabView:formSujet:listeUser does not exist in HTML DOM tree (and thus JavaScript/jQuery is unable to find and replace it). That can happen if the <p:tabView> is dynamic (i.e. you're using <p:tabView value="#{bean.tabs}" var="tab">, because it prepents the tab index number in the final client ID like so tabView:0:formSujet:listeUser if it's the 1st tab. But, after all, as both the dropdownlist and the commandbutton are in the same NamingContainer parent, you don't need an absolute cli

BeforeNavigate2 & Refresh
Navigate2 is an asynchronous operation. By following it with Refresh, you're not giving the navigation a chance to start and fire BeforeNavigate2 event. Perhaps, you should wait for NavigateComplete2 to get fired, before calling Refresh. What exactly are you trying to achieve? The bug you refer to is not related to your Delphi code, it was specific to .NET and got fixed long ago. [EDITED]. What I said above was incorrect. It might have been true for IE7, but for IE10, both BeforeNavigate2 and NavigateComplete2 do get fired (once), even if Navigate call is immediately followed with Refresh. However, that doesn't trigger OLECMDID_PREREFRESH or OLECMDID_REFRESH commands to be sent by WebBrowser control to its site COM object. I only saw OLECMDID_PREREFRESH coming through when I manually tri

Can't refresh datagrid
If you see the old value with that type of data binding, it means you don't update the initial source, but only the temporary one (in your case t_KlantenViewSource). Calling Refresh method on the data added by FindResource cause app to reload it from pre-compiled resource, which won't change in this case. In other words, the problem is you use pre-compiled resource On the same time, you fill the dataset with actual data, but your dataset is in memory, view source - inside application file. You can try: binding ItemsSource of the entire datagrid or separate column to the TableAdapter dataset change resource compiling behaviour to Content, thus the app will reload it from external file each time you call Refresh method. ADDITION: You can find a solution for your case, just to save ti
