parameter causes the data unreadable in the form 2 does not appear on the web version of vb.net
I would think that that code would produce an error, but you did not state that. To add a parameter to the SQL statement: Dim myCommand As New SqlCommand("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM kuesioner WHERE LTRIM(RTRIM(NmPerush)) = @param1", myConnection) myCommand.Parameters.Add(New SqlParameter With {.ParameterName = "param1", _ .SqlDbType = SqlDbType.NVarChar, _ .Size = 200, _ .Value = sParam}) Please alter the .SqlDbType and .Size to match the definition in the database.

Chrome Extension sends unreadable data to python script
Ok, You have it back to front, you should be decoding the inboud data to a unicode representation. e.g. >>> x = "Ä" >>> x.decode('utf-8') u'xc4' >>> >>> y=x.decode('utf-8') >>> print y Ä >>> So for your line t.title = self.request.get('title').encode('utf-8') try t.title = self.request.get('title').decode('utf-8') However this assumes the data is needs to decoded from a utf-8 stream. You should specify accept-charset="utf-8" in the form (or on the client when posting) so that the correct encoding is defined rather than guessing and trying to decode. For instance on windows the default encoding isn't utf-8 but latin_1 and trying to decode utf-8 from latin_1 wouldn't work. The character the decode('utf-8') was fai

Is it possible to recover H2DB data after deleting data file?
Usually not. The index file only contains the indexed columns, and the log file only the transaction log. The trace file is usually empty. But you can try what data is in those files, if you run the Recover tool. Please note you are using a very old version of H2, because newer versions (starting from 2011) only use one database file (suffix .h2.db), and no longer user separate log and index files.

Hacked Azure VM, how to recover data?
A virtual machine is based on an image in a storage container. It takes a bit to track down the right VHD, but if it is one that MS created for you, it should be something like name_of_your_CloudService_name_of_your_VM.vhd, and it will probably be in the VHDs container. You could download this VHD and bring it up in something like VirtualBox, or you could try spinning up another VM based on that image. Either way, your data should all still be there provided you are able to log into the machine. EDIT: As your link suggests, deleting your corrupt VM, spinning up a new VM and attaching the disk would be a good way to get access to your data. Simply click on the "Attach" button at the bottom of the virtual machines section of your dashboard of your new VM and choose existing disk. Brows

How can I recover mongo / minimongo DB data from the browser within a meteor app?

What is the difference between twitter photo card and summary with large image card?
The difference between a summary_large_image card and a photo card is what occurs when the user clicks on the image in the card: In the case of a summary_large_image card, a click on the image opens the link in a new tab (or in a browser on smartphones). In the case of a photo card, a click on the image opens a bigger version of the image in the same browser window (or displays the image full-screen on smartphones).

Im trying to figure out how to deal a card from the deck in my card game class
yeah, now that i've thinked about, "hand" was empty because you fill it from "deck" that is in turn empty. Maybe you can define a method "initDeck" in deck class that fills the deck with random cards, and call it from game constructor. or maybe you already do this out of the game class, but in that case you should pass the deck to game!

Java Card: How to load SIM applet to real smart card?
It might not work because the SIM application might have dependencies to APIs that are not present in the JCOP cards (for instance ETSI 102 705). But then it is worth trying. Make sure that the file format is compatible between the tools (a cap file is not always a cap file by the way; a real cap file is a zip, some tools prefer IJC files). Try using the cap file from the Gemalto tool in the jcManager. If it does not work you can try GPShell. The main challenge is to have the keys to your target, and then the right tool.

Coordinate Id of same card that is read by two different card readers
Its rather hard to understand just exactly what your wanting, but in the bottom you state: 'in other words, i want to convert this array of bytes to corresponding hex code'. You can perform that operation like so: public static string ByteArrayToString(byte[] ba) { StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(ba.Length * 2); foreach (byte b in ba) { sb.AppendFormat("{0:x2}", b); } return sb.ToString(); } Just pass in your Byte array and the result will be your hex conversion in string format. Edit: This will probably yield the same results, but try this: byte[ ] bytes = {0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 255 } Console.WriteLine( BitConverter.ToString( bytes ) );

Card holder's name in APDU commands (ICC Card)
Reading the card holders name and other info on a chip & pin card is not as simple as you might think. It's not as simple as just one straight forward APDU , there are several more steps you have to go through first. First you need to perform an application selection. How you do this, depends on your card and your terminal. There are 2 standard ways. 1) Application file selection 2) AID Scanning For type 1, you typically call a known file name using the select file apdu (NOTE: I'm not going to implement full apdu sentences in what I type here as there is just too much data to try and represent, if there is enough attention to this post then I might do a blog entry) The file name to select for most EMV standard cards is '1PAY.SYS.DDF01' or '2PAY.SYS.DDF01' for contactless ca

Core data posting data to web service preventing duplicate posts?
I would suggest having 3 flags for uploads in your core data object. 0 => upload failed, 1 => currently uploading, 2 => upload complete. As soon as the user selects to upload the post set the flag to currently uploading, in which case you set the update button to a spinner or something. When it completes, either failed or finished then change the upload button to done or re-upload depending on the flag. This seems like the obvious answer hope I understood your question correctly.

Core data: How will you avoid duplicate while inserting data in coredata
If you can use it, RestKit will do it for you. But it basically does the same thing. It offers some caching options to make the duplication check quick but there still has to be a check somewhere. I'm not sure how you think the FRC could help with the duplication check. Using a fetch request to get a dictionary result containing only the appropriate identification attributes maybe, but not a full FRC. Core Data itself has no concept of a 'duplicate'. See the Apple documentation section 'Implementing Find-or-Create Efficiently' here for recommendations.

Does Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory() returns a usable data folder when no sd card is mounted?
public static File getExternalStorageDirectory () Added in API level 1 Gets the Android external storage directory. This directory may not currently be accessible if it has been mounted by the user on their computer, has been removed from the device, or some other problem has happened. You can determine its current state with getExternalStorageState(). Note: don't be confused by the word "external" here. This directory can better be thought as media/shared storage. It is a filesystem that can hold a relatively large amount of data and that is shared across all applications (does not enforce permissions). Traditionally this is an SD card, but it may also be implemented as built-in storage in a device that is distinct from the protected internal storage and can be mounted as a filesystem

VS2012 std library xutility unreadable implementation
xutility is part of the implementation, and is not at all intended to be readable. It may use Undefined internal compiler behavior. _Unchecked_type is a name that is reserved for the compiler, and may be predefined like int for all we know. Anyway, this defines member type via overload selection on _Fn. There are 2 methods named Fn, one taking int and returning Ty::TYPE and the other taking _Wrap_int and returning the second macro argument DEFAULT. The first conversion is better, but assumes that Ty::TYPE exists. Therefore, _Get_unchecked_type<A>::type is A::_Unchecked_type if that exists, and just A otherwise.

OpenXML Spreadsheet deleting rows causes excel unreadable content errors
Based on the XML of the worksheet, this part: <x:row r="1" spans="1:37"> <x:c r="A1" t="s"> <x:v /> </x:c> </x:row> should not exist outside of the SheetData element. In fact, there appears to be a duplicate, since <x:row> <x:c r="A1" t="inlineStr"> <x:is> <x:t>TestResultFileId</x:t> </x:is> </x:c> </x:row> also exist. Note that the "actual" header Row has no RowIndex assigned, but according to the CellReference of "A1", this particular row is on row 1. Note that this: var rows = sheetData.Elements<Row>().Where(r => r.RowIndex > 1).ToArray(); will probably ignore any Row objects without the RowIndex assigned (I didn't test this though...).

Folder Selection Dialog Box (VBA, Excel 2010) causing files to be unreadable
Edit: I think I found the issue. Set wbToCopy = Workbooks.Open(strFileName, , True) , strFileName does not use the fully qualified path. So when you call the .open method, I believe VBA is using the CurDirvalue and appending it to strFileName. When you perform your "Save As", the CurDir value is changed to the directory you are saving the .csv files in. This gives the illusion that the "Save As" action is what allows your macro to run. In actuality, it is the act of changing the CurDir value to the directory where the files are located. Use a fully qualified file name with .open and it should run everytime. Previous Suggestion: I don't think your file name is full qualified (your error message should read 'C:whateverPathRawData_1.csv' could not be found. not 'RawData_1.csv' could not be f

Select all data with no duplicate data
From your comment, you seem to mean only data where the first two columns are duplicated. The easiest way, I think, is to use row_number(), which is available in most databases: select name, country, status from (select t.*, row_number() over (partition by name, country order by (case when status = 'Pending' then 0 else 1 end) ) as seqnum from t ) t where seqnum = 1

You can or set this as the default FETCH_MODE on the pdo object as follows: $this->db->setAttribute(PDO::ATTR_DEFAULT_FETCH_MODE, PDO::FETCH_ASSOC); Or you can specify it for every fetch cal: $value = $statement->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC);
