I dont think this is possible now, Chrome does not support gestures from trackpad now. The only possible workaround is to translate the gesture to rarely used shortcut and handle this shortcut in a fixed version of the extension

transform double click on Z to double click on mouse
Your code is only listening for a KEY_UP event: stageRef.addEventListener(KeyboardEvent.KEY_UP, removeDraggedItem);. You should add a KEY_DOWN event as well and then use the KEY_DOWN event in conjunction with the KEY_UP event to check for a double click. The code to add a KEY_DOWN event is stageRef.addEventListener(KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN, functionName);. On another note if your trying to use MouseEvent.DOUBLE_CLICK you have to enable double click for the object you wish to double click. Oh and definitely include flash.events.MouseEvent object.doubleClickEnabled = true; object.addEventListener(MouseEvent.DOUBLE_CLICK, functionName); Also I noticed in your removeDraggedItem function, you start a timer if the keycode equals 90. Then the next time a KEY_UP event is thrown you check if the t

jQuery click event requires double click to work
As of jQuery 1.7, the .live() method is deprecated. you should Use .on() to attach event handlers. it doesn't seems that your code generate something that can cause a second click need... but try changing- $('td#td_new').live('click', function() { to $(document).on('click','#td_new', function() { then open firebug or add a console.log('something') in the success: part - and make sure that the ajax request finishes as wanted and not continuing to run. other then that we need some more code... have fun. EDIT: I tried to understand what you are trying to do according to the code you upload, but there is noway to test it, so here are some insights for you: Include your source scripts (jquery + UI etc) in the head section. Remove jquery.min... source - you don't need it because you

slidify layouts: title-only, title-and-body, title-and-two-cols, title caption, and blank
Slide layouts are mustache templates that can make use of objects returned by the parser. You can find a list of objects returned by the parser here. Coming to the question raised, here is how one would go about building the layouts for the slides. Title Only <slide class="segue nobackground {{ slide.class }}" id="{{ slide.id }}"> <hgroup> {{{ slide.header }}} </hgroup> </slide> The two column layout inherits from the parent layout, and the column widths are configurable. Two Columns --- layout: slide replace: slide.content --- {{{ slide.content }}} <div class='left' style='float:left;width:{{{ slide.left.w }}}'> {{{ slide.left.html }}} </div> <div class='right' style='float:right;width:{{{ slide.right.w }}}'> {{{ slide.right

1 html object - different functionalities (one-click and double-click)
You can use dblclick() jquery event. $('div').dblclick(function () { alert('Double click'); }); But according to jQuery API documentation it is not advisable to use click and dblclick event handlers to the same HTML element. You can refer API documentation here. Check this demo Answer for your this question: "I have leave now this solution, and open only first infobox with link, it is possible, if i click on one element and get the infobox, then if i click on other box, after click should be the first box closed?" You can register click for both link and when opening second infobox simply close the first infobox. You check this demo, in this I have used jQuery UI dialog (which is not modal dialog), and closing first dialog on click of second one.

Why is this script only work on double click rather than single click?
The click event (as the most of the other events) bubbles to the parent elements. It effectively means that when you click on the '.click1' element this event first triggered on this element and then it is triggered on 'body'. And the event listener on 'body' instantly hides the element. You can use Event.stopPropagation() here to prevent event bubbling: $('.click1').click(function (e) { $(".show1").fadeIn(400); e.stopPropagation(); }); $('body').click(function() { $('.show1').hide(); });

Inline onclick is overriding JQuery click()
Your inline handler disables the button: this.disabled=true; Then jQuery handler checks if it is disabled and returns if so: if(jQuery(this).attr('disabled')) { return false; } There is, unfortunately, no way to predict the order of event handlers execution for the same event on the same element. As a quick fix, I can suggest this: Demo jQuery(element).click( function() { if(jQuery(this).attr('disabled-by-jquery')) { return false; } jQuery(this).attr('disabled' , 'disabled'); jQuery(this).attr('disabled-by-jquery' , 'disabled'); jQuery(this).attr('value' , text); onclick = (jQuery(this).attr('onclick') || jQuery(this).attr('onClick')); if(form && !onclick) { jQuery(form).submit(); } jQuery(this).click(); });

how to avoid click when I want double click?
Set the RoutedEvent's e.Handled to True after handling the MouseDoubleClick event to block second click events of being fired. If you want to block first click event behavior, you can use a timer: private static DispatcherTimer myClickWaitTimer = new DispatcherTimer( new TimeSpan(0, 0, 0, 1), DispatcherPriority.Background, mouseWaitTimer_Tick, Dispatcher.CurrentDispatcher); private void Button_MouseDoubleClick(object sender, MouseButtonEventArgs e) { // Stop the timer from ticking. myClickWaitTimer.Stop(); Trace.WriteLine("Double Click"); e.Handled = true; } private void Button_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { myClickWaitTimer.Start(); } private static void mouseWaitTimer_Tick(object sender, EventArgs e) { myCli

As a workaround, you could use this snippet instead of dblclick event: DEMO with custom dblclick $('#test').on('click', function(event){ var t = this; if (!t.clicks) t.clicks = 0; ++t.clicks; if (t.clicks === 2) { t.clicks = 0; //here the kind of dclclick is fired ... $(t).css({'background-color' : "red"}); } setTimeout(function () { t.clicks = 0 }, 500);//duration valu

Double click ambiguity in Jquery?
The way around the problem is to use a timeout for the click event to give the user time to doubleclick. If the user clicks twice within a certain timeframe, it's a doubleclick, if the user only clicks once, it's a normal click: $('#press').click(function (event) { event.preventDefault(); if ( $(this).data('dblclicked') ) { $('#log').text('No google today!'); clearTimeout( $(this).data('clicked') ); $(this).data('dblclicked', false); }else{ var self = this; $(this).data('dblclicked', true).data('clicked', setTimeout(function() { $('#log').text('google !'); $(self).data('dblclicked', false); },300)); } }); FIDDLE

MS Visual Web Developer Double click VB.NET
Based on the fact that you're using Visual Studio Web Developer, I'll assume you're doing something with a browser. If you're not, comment on the answer and I'll delete it. ASP.Net doesn't distinguish between single and double clicks. You'll have to use Javascript for this. To do what you're trying to accomplish, you'll have to make a client-side button whose ondblclick event calls the .click() function of the server-side button's rendered <input> element. Here's what I mean: <asp:Button Id="Button" OnClick="Some_Method()" /> <!-- This renders to something like this: --> <input type="submit" onclick="..." name="Button" id="Button" /> Knowing this (you can check this in your rendered document), you can do this: <input type="button" ondblclick="document.getEle

Why won't my Eclipse Executable Jar run with a double click?
There's nothing wrong with your code--it will compile. First of all, ensure that your main class is Cal.java. This can be done by right clicking the project, Properties -> Run/Debug Settings -> Click on a configuration (or make a new one) -> Edit -> Select a class. Next, ensure you Export the project as a Runnable JAR file. This can be done by right clicking the project, Export... -> Runnable JAR file (under Java folder) -> Next -> Select same configuration as above. You should be able to double click the JAR file, or in command prompt/terminal use the following command: java -jar FileName.jar. That should resolve your issue.

jar writes to file from cmd but not double click
When you run the JAR via double-click it's probably doing something weird to the working directory. Your file is written to the current working directory (since you didn't specify a path), and that might not be where you're looking. You can do something like this to get the current working directory: // Get the current working directory String workingDir = System.getProperty("user.dir"); // Display workingDir in a Swing message dialog window JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, workingDir); Destinations.txt should appear in the directory indicated by workingDir. On the other hand, if the problem is just that the program isn't actually running correctly when you launch it via double-click, then it should be obvious when the message dialog doesn't appear.

Javascript Double Click Event
You can accomplish this by calling apply, as in this answer here: How can I programmatically invoke an onclick() event from a anchor tag while keeping the ‘this’ reference in the onclick function? However, you might want to consider a slightly different approach. Just put your double-click handler in a function: function onDoubleClick() { if (window.sfdcPage && window.sfdcPage.hasRun) sfdcPage.dblClickField(event, this); } Then you can just reference it from your <td> element: <td ondblclick="onDoubleClick();"... And anywhere else you need to invoke it from as well. Here's a jsfiddle to demonstrate: http://jsfiddle.net/nq5aP/
