ASP.Net - Bootstrap Popover in Gridview
You can supply an event delegation target selector pointing to an element which might or might not exist using the selector option. $('body').popover({ html: true, content: function () { return $(this).next().text(); }, selector: '.has-popover' }); EDIT: See this jsFiddle Demo and maybe this will make more sense. Notice how when a new row is added, it still gets a popup because I have added the selector: '.has-popover' option set. This will add a popover to any element with the .has-popover class, whenever the element is created. You can add custom content by dynamically loading the content option as shown above and in my demo. Basically, what this is doing is taking the current element that the popover is being created for $(this) then traversing to the "next"

One Gridview with Multiple SqlDataSources
On the Click event of each button, it is as simple as changing GridView1.DataSourceID to the id of the correct SqlDataSource. It may require a GridView1.DataBind() afterwards, but I'm not sure since you're using SqlDataSources. Try without first, then add DataBind if it doesn't work.

Improve page rendering time having gridview, child gridview and grand child gridview on it
You are creating way too many grids. A grid is an expensive component. You could alter your user interface to allow users to select an Item and bind the inner grid only on selection. This ensures that rather than one grid per row or parent grid, you will have only one child grid displayed at a time.

Group and update multiple records into one gridview row
This looks to me like more of a SQL question so I will answer it accordingly. If you aren't looking for a SQL-based answer please be more clear in the question. And if you are please amend your tags. As long as the number of types is fixed and known, the following SQL can form your underlying SQL query (assuming the source is a SQL database): SELECT a.StaffID, Name, CASE WHEN b.ID IS NOT NULL THEN 1 ELSE 0 END AS Type1, CASE WHEN c.ID IS NOT NULL THEN 1 ELSE 0 END AS Type2, CASE WHEN d.ID IS NOT NULL THEN 1 ELSE 0 END AS Type3 FROM dbo.Staff a LEFT JOIN dbo.StaffType b ON a.StaffID = b.StaffID AND b.TypeID = 1 LEFT JOIN dbo.StaffType c ON a.StaffID = c.StaffID AND c.TypeID = 2 LEFT JOIN dbo.StaffType d ON a.StaffID = d.StaffID AND d.TypeID = 3 In your GridView each checkbo

Gridview and column size on multiple devices
It is a really bad practice to use pixel like a dimension in an android application, because you have a wide range of resolutions from 240x320 to 800x1280 and more, for some resolutions 4pixels can look great but in other it does not. It is better if you use dp or sp (screen points). Making a grid in the way you want is a bit complicated. I made one and I had to create a xml definition for each resolution (ldpi, mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi), and set dimension for each one, basically the xml defined a grid (only one box) then a create my grid view like a set of all these grid definition. Other thing you can do is calculate the screen resolution (widthxheight) in runtime and set specifics dimensions in pixels for each one. For example this is my xml definition of a grid row for a hdpi resol

How to display the multiple rows of images in gridview from sql table
Your handler, though running through a loop, will only return the first image it comes across. By calling these lines....: context.Response.BinaryWrite((Byte[])dtst.Rows[i]["image"]); context.Response.ContentType = "image/jpeg"; context.Response.End(); .....your essentially saying "Ok, you can stop now and spit out that image" - your other images in the loop won't be reached. Your handler should really only return a SINGLE image. So change your handler so it delivers just ONE image, you can put the ID of the image you want to display in the querystring, and then call the handler from your gridview. Something like (example, not tested) <asp:TemplateField HeaderText="MyImage"> <ItemTemplate> <asp:Image runat="server" ImageURL='<%# Ev

Word Search Game: How to Select Multiple Items in a GridView By Dragging? (Android)
I'm late to this question but coming across a similar problem recently, I decided to create my own custom board view library to address this problem. It adds more flexibility to what you can do and it leads to a more straightforward implementation. Here are some snippets of code showing how it works. First, it is easy to draw the board grid on a custom view's onDraw() method: @Override protected void onDraw(Canvas canvas) { for (int i = 0; i <= numRows; i++) { //For custom grid sizes, y can't be equal the board size or the line drawn won't show int y = Math.min(boardHeight - 1, i * tileSize); canvas.drawLine(0, y, boardWidth, y, boardPaint); } for (int i = 0; i <= numCols; i++) { //For custom grid sizes, x can't be equal the board size o

Nested gridview checkboxes are not toggling when master gridview checkbox is toggled
When you run your first CheckBoxAll_OnCheckedChanged you will be running through each checkbox and changing its Checked to True or False dependent on what the CheckBoxAll has been ticked as. This will not cause a postback on the checkbox per one being run. Instead, while looping through the nested gridview you can call the CheckBoxAdd_OnCheckedChanged sub by just passing the object and same eventargs over to it. For example: Sub CheckBoxAll_OnCheckedChanged(sender as object, e as eventargs) 'Loop through gridview here 'When finding the control CheckBoxAdd just call For each gvRow as GridviewRow in gvStudents.Rows dim CheckBoxAdd as Checkbox = gvRow.FindControl("CheckBoxAdd") CheckBoxAdd.Checked = True 'Or false dependent on CheckBoxAll CheckBoxAl

Android - GridView onItemClick callback not being called When GridView is inside ViewPager
if the goal is simply to get the notification, use OnClickListener instead of OnItemClickListener. Set the listener via setOnClickListener in getView when convertView is null. Otherwise, if you need the extra information that you would get in onItemClick, you can specialize ImageView to set and retrieve the convenience members that you define in the specialized class.

Change the name of column in Gridview on runtime when sorting of gridview is enabled
I'm guessing you're trying to use AutoGenerateColumns? If this is the case why can't you change the column name in the datasource (using "AS" if the datasource is SQL)? Otherwise, your altering the cell text is short-circuiting the ASP.NET functionality which generates the sorting javascript postback. Alternatively you would do this if you don't use AutoGenerateColumns: myGrid.Columns[1].HeaderText = "test1";

How to call Parent Gridview's item Id by Nested GridView's Content
Unfortunately, you can't do that. WebGrid will only bind to a single model and because the columns aren't strongly-typed you can't reference a parent class. The solution is to create a ViewModel that contains all of the data you want to represent in your WebGrid and then bind your WebGrid to that ViewModel.
