Card.io usage in android. Displaying Credit card number and Expiry date
Maybe I missed it but I dont see anything wrong with the code. The problem may be in your XML so I thought I would make it easy for you. Send the user to another activity when the scan is completed. Copy this in the appropriate place. Create a new xml.file and see if this works. If you have any problems tell me. This is working fine for me. private Button scanButton; } @Override protected void onResume() { super.onResume(); if (CardIOActivity.canReadCardWithCamera(this)) { scanButton.setText("Charge"); } else { scanButton.setText("Charge"); } } final String TAG = getClass().getName(); private int MY_SCAN_REQUEST_CODE = 100; // arbitrary int public void onScanPress(View v) { // This method is set up as an onClick handler in the layout xml // e.g. and

What is the difference between twitter photo card and summary with large image card?
The difference between a summary_large_image card and a photo card is what occurs when the user clicks on the image in the card: In the case of a summary_large_image card, a click on the image opens the link in a new tab (or in a browser on smartphones). In the case of a photo card, a click on the image opens a bigger version of the image in the same browser window (or displays the image full-screen on smartphones).

Java Card: How to load SIM applet to real smart card?
It might not work because the SIM application might have dependencies to APIs that are not present in the JCOP cards (for instance ETSI 102 705). But then it is worth trying. Make sure that the file format is compatible between the tools (a cap file is not always a cap file by the way; a real cap file is a zip, some tools prefer IJC files). Try using the cap file from the Gemalto tool in the jcManager. If it does not work you can try GPShell. The main challenge is to have the keys to your target, and then the right tool.

How to implemet creadit card and debit card payment in salesforce
If you are not experienced with API development, paypal API details are here: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/ Then the best other option is an App. I have used the connected Epos solution, which is great for taking payments from credit cards, either with the customer present (chip n pin) or by keying in the card numbers. You need to get the PayPalHere card terminal which is about $50, but it is a great all round solution. https://appexchange.salesforce.com/listingDetail?listingId=a0N30000000qD0GEAU

Im trying to figure out how to deal a card from the deck in my card game class
yeah, now that i've thinked about, "hand" was empty because you fill it from "deck" that is in turn empty. Maybe you can define a method "initDeck" in deck class that fills the deck with random cards, and call it from game constructor. or maybe you already do this out of the game class, but in that case you should pass the deck to game!

iOS Phonegap app crashes after Card.io scans credit card
@Paul if you using latest card.io SDK just modify the CardIOPGPlugin.m file on line 101 from [CardIOCreditCardInfo displayStringForCardType:info.cardType] to [CardIOCreditCardInfo displayStringForCardType:info.cardType usingLanguageOrLocale:[[NSLocale currentLocale] localeIdentifier]] Hope it helps.

Configuring a single Jenkins release job to release from trunk or branches with Perforce as SCM
If I were trying to implement this as described I would created a parameterized build where I could hand in a Perforce label name. The Perforce Jenkins plugin can sync to a label; I would create labels for each release specifying the paths that should be synced and with a revision specifier of #head. Jenkins should then sync just the files you want for that build. The workspace would of course map everything; the labels will specify the files to fetch.

Maven release plugin: How to deploy only a distribution jar on release:perform
Seems like the Release plugin behavior was fixed and it now properly invokes deploy:deploy. So I used my standard trick to suppress default plugin execution. Card holder's name in APDU commands (ICC Card)
Reading the card holders name and other info on a chip & pin card is not as simple as you might think. It's not as simple as just one straight forward APDU , there are several more steps you have to go through first. First you need to perform an application selection. How you do this, depends on your card and your terminal. There are 2 standard ways. 1) Application file selection 2) AID Scanning For type 1, you typically call a known file name using the select file apdu (NOTE: I'm not going to implement full apdu sentences in what I type here as there is just too much data to try and represent, if there is enough attention to this post then I might do a blog entry) The file name to select for most EMV standard cards is '1PAY.SYS.DDF01' or '2PAY.SYS.DDF01' for contactless ca

Coordinate Id of same card that is read by two different card readers
Its rather hard to understand just exactly what your wanting, but in the bottom you state: 'in other words, i want to convert this array of bytes to corresponding hex code'. You can perform that operation like so: public static string ByteArrayToString(byte[] ba) { StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(ba.Length * 2); foreach (byte b in ba) { sb.AppendFormat("{0:x2}", b); } return sb.ToString(); } Just pass in your Byte array and the result will be your hex conversion in string format. Edit: This will probably yield the same results, but try this: byte[ ] bytes = {0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 255 } Console.WriteLine( BitConverter.ToString( bytes ) );

Card.io SDK gives partial credit card number
Josh from card.io here. The sample code you're probably looking at reads: - (void)userDidProvideCreditCardInfo:(CardIOCreditCardInfo *)info inPaymentViewController:(CardIOPaymentViewController *)scanViewController { // The full card number is available as info.cardNumber, but don't log that! NSLog(@"Received card info. Number: %@, expiry: %02i/%i, cvv: %@.", info.redactedCardNumber, info.expiryMonth, info.expiryYear, info.cvv); // Use the card info... [scanViewController dismissModalViewControllerAnimated:YES]; } Note the comment above the NSLog call. What is being logged is info.redactedCardNumber. You want info.cardNumber instead. See the header files, which are pretty well documented, for more details. The older version of the SDK is has been publicly deprecated for nearly a

How to release an iOS app as worldwide which was release with Italian as the language in the first version?
The third Question answers my query. https://vpp.itunes.apple.com/faq 3. Can I distribute redemption codes to employees who are not located in my country? No. Apps can only be distributed to employees with Apple IDs located in the same country where the apps were purchased. To distribute redemption codes in other countries, you must enroll your business in the Volume Purchase Program for every eligible country in which you wish to purchase and distribute apps.

Github release from maven-release-plugin
The problem seemed to be the "circular" reference where the aggregator inherits from one of the poms that it is aggregating. As soon as I removed that, everything worked. So there are basically two simple choices, either merge the parent and the aggregator, or have the SCM info duplicated (or just moved) in the aggregator so that the aggregator doesn't inherit from anyone

Difference between debugging the release and running the release
If you have Application Property Settings, the 'debug' settings and 'release' settings are distinct. For instance, if I set up a 'server name' and 'default database name' in settings fields, when I compile to 'release' it won't pull in the names that I set while I was in debug. Therefore, you will need to populate the release settings separately. You haven't included that detail in your post, but it could easily affect the program session.

I have no experience of using card.io. But your question got me all curious about this API. In github, I found it and in there, there is a file: CardIOCreditCardInfo.h // Derived from cardNumber. // When provided by card.io, cardType will not be CardIOCreditCardTypeUnrecognized or CardIOCreditCardTypeAmbiguous. @property(nonatomic, assign, readonly) CardIOCreditCardType cardType; Hope this helps. I am trying to learn this, if it doesnot help you please tell me.

What the difference between Release|AnyCPU and Release|ARM
If you're only using managed code, there's no reason not to use Release|AnyCPU. This way the same package will be used for all three platforms (ARM, x86 and x64). On the other hand, if your project references natively compiled library, you'll need to set a specific platform, like Release|ARM, that your native library is compiled for. If the native library is installed as an extension (e.g. SQLite for Windows Runtime), you'll be able to compile your app for all 3 target platforms, each one referencing the appropriate native library, though they will need to be individual packages instead of a single universal one. You'll still be able to submit your app to the store as a single app even if it has 3 separate packages, one for each platform.

Why isn't maven replacing the environment variable for the maven-release-plugin release version?
you will have to use the arguments attribute: http://maven.apache.org/maven-release/maven-release-plugin/prepare-mojo.html#arguments So in your context your cmd line will look like this (Note the double quotes as well): mvn release:clean --batch-mode release:prepare "-Darguments=-Dtag=${env.tag} -Dproject.rel.com.mycompany.project:project-root=${env.project.rel.com.mycompany.project:project-root} -Dproject.dev.com.mycompany.project:project-root=${env.project.dev.com.mycompany.project:project-root}" Furthermore, if i remember right the uses of the tokens ${env.X} requires the usage of the property name in upper case (to be verified)

Info needed on gradle release plugin as how maven provides release plugin
As far as I can tell, there are 4 release plugins right now. https://github.com/townsfolk/gradle-release https://github.com/ari/gradle-release-plugin https://github.com/stianh/gradle-release-plugin https://github.com/anshulverma/gradle-release-plugin The townsfolk plugin is the one that works the most like the maven plugin and it works quite well so far ... but is currently not maintained (see github). The other 2 plugins work much differently from the maven release plugin (and pretty similarly to each other). These other two plugins use version control (svn/git) to keep track of version numbers instead of burying (and updating) version numbers in the build.gradle file. You can also find various approaches here: https://bitbucket.org/evgenyg/demo-releases-plugin/src/master/build.gradl

Anything that is part of the CONFIG can be tested for as a scope for conditionals (see: QMake Configuration & Scope). That means you can add your own meaning for "Test". For Example The following will add sources when "unittest" is added to the CONFIG using CONFIG += unittest unittest { SOURCES += my_unittests.cc }

Move to SD Card?
This is actually incredibly easy to do! First, make sure your target API level is 8 or higher. If it is, you can simply include this code in your manifest: <manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:installLocation="preferExternal" ... > For more information, check out this android developer page.

Categories : Android

Move an app to sd card
Just add the following line to your Manifest.xml and everything works great: android:installLocation="preferExternal" That means users can move the app to their sdcard/external storage and your app would prefer it to store your app their, if available. Pretty simple and should solve your problem ;) The difference: your app does NOT consume valuable internalStorage (especially on older devices) and your users can save some space.

Get user’s country from SIM card
The Issuer identification number (IIN) on the SIM card includes country identification which can be 2 digits (say, 44 for the UK) or 3 digits (say, 352 for Luxembourg). So theoretically it would be possible, but Windows Phone (and that includes version 8) does not allow reading the SIM card's data.

Enable the SD Card while USB Debugging?
Take a look at this thread here. As stated there: Next, enable USB debugging by checking the “USB Debugging” item. Finally – and this is the most oddball – you need to go back a screen, to Settings, and click on the Storage item. Up in the upper right of the screen are three tiny squares which represent the Jelly Bean way of doing a context menu. Click that, and a small “USB Computer Connection” item will appear. Click that. You’re taken to a new screen with two “Connect As” options. Check “Camera”. Yes, because USB debugging requires the use of a camera (no, not really). It’s just a requirement. Something about the communication protocol or file transfer encoding or something. I don’t make this stuff up.

card game : win play
Given all the cards are pre-placed, you can do the following: Get a clear board. Pair up your set of cards, to get a set of pairs Get one pair out of remaining set of pairs. If set is empty, provide filled board as the algorithm result. Place both cards into your board to the next available positions, so that both places are available to pickup in the gameplay phase. If no places are available, this means you've placed previous pair(s) wrongly, so you have to retrack - pop state from stack, attempt another placement at that state. Push state to stack. Go to 2. The trick is, you start with a board being won, and add a layer (a pair) so that removing this pair will lead to a winnable condition, by state sequence construction. Apparently, you can add random pairs to random available locat

Card emulation Mifare
It is not possible what you are trying to do... What @NikolayElenkov has done is emulate a ISO 7816-4 compliant card. MIFARE Classic is not ISO 7816-4 compliant (it does not use APDU commands and responses for communication). In fact, it is not even ISO 14443-4 compliant: it uses proprietary encryption on top of ISO 14443-3. The fact that the communication looks like APDUs from the reader side, is because your reader strips off all encryption before it passes the data on and wraps that data inside "virtual" APDUs. In that way, MIFARE cards can be used with software that can only deal with ISO 7816-4 compliant cards.
