how to add a custom theme in jquery mobile from theme roller site?
Your example won't work, take a look what you have : <link rel="stylesheet" href="customTheme.min.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.3.1/jquery.mobile.structure-1.3.1.min.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.3.1/jquery.mobile-1.3.1.min.css" /> There are 3 different css files. First one is your custom theme, second one is only structure css file (everything else), and last one is complete jQuery Mobile css file. Currently your last css file (complete one) is overriding custom css theme. To solve your problem change everything to: <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.3.1/jquery.mobile-1.3.1.min.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="customTheme.min.css" /> <link rel=

jQuery Mobile Theme after php echo
When dynamically adding new jQuery Mobile its content markup can only be enhanced manually through use of a proper enhancement functions. Every widget has an unique function. This should do it: $('#listviewID').listview('refresh'); In case this error is thrown: cannot call methods on listview prior to initialization use this: $('#listviewID').listview().listview('refresh'); There's also another solution. Instead of enhancing single component you can enhance whole content DIV, do it like this: $('contentDivID').trigger('create'); or it can be done on a whole page like this: $('pageDivID').trigger('pagecreate'); If you want to find more about this process (with working examples) take a look at this ARTICLE, to make it transparent it is a link to my blog post.

Mobile version/desktop version?
Maybe you should not make that redirect mandatory. Just popup a JS Box asking your visitor whether he wants to be redirected and if you redirect him yourself to your desktop site, just do not display that box. In regards to redirects to/from mobile sites you might also want to read : http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/changes-in-rankings-of-smartphone_11.html

jQuery mobile multiple theme dependecies
It does use a single theme! The themes have multiple color profiles called swatches, which essentially delegate colors to elements. jQuery defaults to those contrasting swatches because they work well together. The excerpt you posted only comes into play if no theme swatch letter is set, so maybe that clears up some confusion. For instance, if you have multiple buttons, you can set the data-theme to any swatch you have defined in the theme to quickly choose between a color for that button. See button theming. You are making a single custom theme with ThemeRoller, it just has multiple color components. (You can make that theme have one theme swatch, but I don't think you'd need to!) Elements on the page will take on their parent's data-theme if no individual one is set. If you just

Data-Theme not applying to Subpage - JQuery mobile and Phonegap
Provide data-ajax="false" in list divider of index.html. This tells the framework to do a full page reload to clear out the Ajax hash in the URL. As per this link, "Providing data-ajax="false" is critical because Ajax pages use the hash (#) to track the Ajax history, while multiple internal pages use the hash to indicate internal pages so there will be a conflicts." Also, rename data-role="subpage" to data-role="page". This is the solution to this problem.

Mobile option to view site in fullscreen (wordpress theme: twentytwelve)
To create a version of the website that is NOT responsive you can go into TwentyTwelve's style.css file and edit the media queries. Scroll down to the media queries section and edit the "min-width" property, which is by default set to 600px. Basically that query is saying that for every browser width larger than 600px, the full desktop version of the site will be shown. If you change the min-width to be 1px, for example, the desktop version will always be shown.

Padding in a mobile version with bootstrap
You need to work with negative margins and compensate with padding. Try: footer { margin-left: -20px; margin-right: -20px; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px; } Edit: To clarify. You need to put this in your media-query that targets screen smaller than 767px likes this: @media (max-width: 767px) { footer { margin-left: -20px; margin-right: -20px; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px; } }

mobile version of website doesn't fit horizontally
If you want your layout to be mobile friendly, it's best to be thinking about this right from the beginning. So, for example, if you are going to set fixed widths on elements (which I don't recommend), such as— #back-menu-left {with: 500px;} you need to ask yourself what will happen to this on a small screen. So, either don't set that width, or immediately write an @media rule to override it on smaller screens. (I didn't check through the rest of your code, just stopping when I found one oversized element. Best to check and see if there are any other overwide elements like that.)

how modify mobile responsive version structure in wordpress

There's a lot to learn but this Bones theme script may get you started: jQuery(document).ready(function($) { /* Responsive jQuery is a tricky thing. There's a bunch of different ways to handle it, so be sure to research and find the one that works for you best. */ /* getting viewport width */ var responsive_viewport = $(window).width(); /* if is below 481px */ if (responsive_viewport < 481) { } /* end smallest screen */ /* if is larger than 481px */ i

Mobile version of site with additional screen for navigation
A site can only have one default page so you will need to redirect a user to the mobile menu page when they first visit the site. There's a couple of ways to do this would be to set a cookie indicating they have been to the main navigation or use session variables. In either case, you would need to add a plugin or code to the default page to determine if they need to be redirected or not. That said, why not just make your template responsive. It's fairly easy to implement the Bootstrap framework (there are tons of templates already out there using Bootstrap) and then it is trivial to show or hide content based on the size of the screen the user has.

Having two websites use the same WordPress database to create a mobile version
Can't link to an authoritative resource, but I'm pretty sure that's not possible. Sharing the same user table is possible, but the whole site not. But I think that's an XY Problem. Instead you should serve your own theme when your selected devices hit the site. Study how the plugin WP Touch or similar do it. I know we need the hook template_redirect, which is the one I use in my plugins, when we want to override the Theme and serve a Plugin template.

This should do the trick for the redirection: <!--[if lte IE 8]> <script type="text/javascript"> window.location = "http://thehouseofseven.com/ottima/indexie.html"; </script> <![endif]--> As I'm sure you know, IE<9 doesn't do media queries, so that's the root of the problem. Since you have a responsive site for the rest of the world, you may still be able to whip IE8 and IE7 into shape. Polyfills are availabe which will often make older versions of IE understand media queries. I've had good success with Respond.js, and the other most popular option is css3-mediaqueries.js I usually call respond.js with a conditional comment like this in the head of the page: <!--[if (lt IE 9) & (!IEMobile)]> <script src="/path-to/respond.min.js">
