AVAssetExportSession merge videos with stereo
I found that you can replace AVAssetExportSession with SDAVAssetExportSession. You can then specify audio settings as you would for the AVAssetWriter while leveraging the benefits of the AVAssetExportSession. I had to change __weak typeof(self) wself = self; to __weak SDAVAssetExportSession * wself = self; on line 172 of SDAVAssetExportSession.m.

Can I give the horizontal slider css3 border radius?
The slider range is scaling like it should. The problem is that your slider range is overflowing outside of its parent div. To fix this, you could apply overflow:hidden to its parent, .ui-slider-horizontal. Fiddle with Overflow This unfortunately prevents the slider handle from overflowing as well. The easiest way to achieve what you are trying to do is to set a min-width on the slider range that will stop it from scaling at a certain percentage. This percentage would be the point at which it starts overflowing. Fiddle with Min-Height This will only work if your slider handle is hiding the actual range behind it. CSS: .ui-slider-range-min { min-width: 14%; }

Floating img and text without specifying width to container - Horizontal Scrolling / Horizontal Site / Horizontal Layout
I think you want something like this: http://samuelbradley.com/James-Floyd-for-OUT I am not sure it's possible to achieve it without setting any widths whatsoever and/or using JS. If you check closely, the developer of the site I pasted is holding the horizontal images in a table. The table is further wrapped in a container with a set width. I tried to disable the width property with FireBug and nothing seems to have changed, but I don't know the reason why it was added, possibly cross-browser compatibility. If you are willing to compromise on keeping your horizontal images in table cells, it looks like you could obtain a solution if you reverse-engineer the example site a bit with FireBug or equivalent tool.

Detect mouseover in 10px of div with jQuery
You can attach event handler in JavaScript without any additional tags. For example if you have a DIV like this: <div id="xdiv" style="width:100px; height:100px; border: solid 1px black" /> in pure JavaScript you can attach onmousemove like this: document.getElementById("xdiv").onmousemove = function(e) { var evt = e || event; if (this.offsetWidth - evt.offsetX > 10) { this.style.backgroundColor = "red" } else { this.style.backgroundColor = "green" } } When you move the mouse over DIV it will become green if you move within 10px of the right side. Otherwise it will be red. Live demo: http://jsfiddle.net/25SXW/3/

CSS full-page-width horizontal menu and horizontal submenu
If I understood your question, this should get you on your way: http://jsfiddle.net/X7T94/ It does require putting class="active" on the main-menu li that you want as the active item. The rest of your HTML is the same. CSS: .full-width { width: 100%; } .normal-width { width: 1024px; margin: 0 auto 0 auto; } .main-menu > li { float:left; list-style-type:none; padding-right:30px; } .sub-menu { display:none; } .sub-menu li { float:left; padding-right:30px; } .main-menu li.active { background-color:blue; } .main-menu > li.active .sub-menu { display:block; position:absolute; left:0; right:0; background-color:blue; } Obviously it isn't perfect or beautiful, but it should get you on your way.

Weird CSS behavior - Diagonal border - Why is the border edge not straight?
It's because it's drawing the corner of the two borders. Try changing your bottom border to something other than white and you'll see more clearly what it's doing. To get rid of this effect, you need to get rid of the bottom border. If you need the gap that the bottom border is currently giving you, you could use padding-bottom or margin-bottom instead.

Two column list with images and border - rotate border but not image
Here are some points: To center an element within another element you can do something like this: .centered { position: absolute; top: 0px; bottom: 0px; left: 0px; right: 0px; margin: auto; } Notice, that the position of an absolute positioned element is related to its offsetParent. Hence you need to to position at least one element in a parent chain (usually as relative). transform: rotate() rotates all elements within the element to which it's used. To tackle this, you need to rotate the elements you don't want to rotate, to opposite direction. A heavily simplified demo at jsFiddle.

Does any one have modernizr example for border-radius, transition, border shadow and gradient example?
It may be a little overkill to test support for all of these properties (a browser that does not support border-radius is probably not going to support Gradients etc.) you can use Modernizr.load and pass an array of tests to test for support and load a file conditionally: JS Modernizr.load({ test: [Modernizr.csscolumns, Modernizr.borderradius, Modernizr.transition, Modernizr.bordershadow], nope: 'css3pie.js', // file to be loaded if tests fail }); Additionally, since a lot of these are visually related things, you are probably better suited dealing with this by using using modernizr's classes (i.e. no-borderadius) rather than loading js. How to rotate the Ellipse and border based on dragging border?
First, I would change these lines: if (angle >= 360) angle = 0; angle += 30; To this line: angle = angle >= 330 ? 0 : angle + 30; Although I doubt that it would cause too much problem as it is. In your code, if angle equalled 350 for instance, then it would end up as 380, but WPF should wrap that angle round to an effective angle of 20 anyway. Ahhhhhhh... I've just worked out your exact requirement... you want the user to move the mouse and you want the shape to rotate just as far as the user has moved the mouse so that it virtually looks like they are actually physically moving it. Right, here goes... I can explain what you have to do, but not do it for you. I hope that your trigonometry is good because I haven't used it for decades! Basically, if I remember corr

How to: overflow text above border-top like with border-bottom when height: 0px
Weird wishes eh ;) for doing this, actually the border of an element renders outside the element, so there's no straight way of doing this, but still if you want to get the text vertically middle on the borders, than you need to change couple of things in your markup as well as your CSS. First of all wrap the words using a simple span tag, than use the below rules in your CSS Demo .v-align-bot span { position: absolute; top: 15px; } .v-align-top span { position: absolute; top: -35px; } Also make sure you use position: relative; on the below id's else they will flow out in the wild. #test1 { height: 0px; border-bottom: 50px solid #648291; /*grey*/ position: relative; } #test2 { height: 0px; border-top: 50px solid #FA8723; /*orange*/ position: r

CSS inset border radius with solid border
In my experience, while it's very feasible and worthwhile to use CSS to create some complex shapes (http://css-tricks.com/examples/ShapesOfCSS/), once you require a border, it's time to give up this method and use images. You can certainly use a clone of the shape z-indexed below it, two pixels wider, two pixels taller, one pixel above it, one pixel to the left, and in the desired border color. Unfortunately, there will always be minor cross browser issues, especially with rounding. It will never really look quite right.

What's the difference between "svn merge --reintegrate" and svn merge without reintegrate if I'd like to merge a branch onto the trunk
A sync merge is something completely different than a reintegration merge. The former is used to merge all changes made on the parent branch to the target branch (typically a feature branch), that have not already been merged. The latter is used to merge a (feature) branch back into the parent branch. Basically that means a temporary clone of the (feature) branch is created, a sync merge is made from the parent branch to the temporary branch, and finally the parent branch is replaced by the temporary branch. In other words, the temporary branch contains all changes made to the (feature) branch and parent branch. For some reason, some developers do not understand the difference. So, the SVN developers removed the option --reintegrate in SVN 1.8. With this version, the tool detects automati

Horizontal LinearLayout with Multiple Children, Move Children Below on New Line When No More Horizontal Space
I would like to have a horizontal LinearLayout that is as wide as the screen and as high as its children, but the trick is that its children will have dynamic width each and I don't want them going off screen (cut out). A LinearLayout can't do that(any default layout from the SDK can't do that) because the LinearLayout is set to place all the children in one horizontal or vertical line. Also, any type of conditional layout rules based on dimensions not yet available(like in your case the available width for the LinearLayout) are not possible in the xml anyway. What you need is a custom layout which measures the children to use the available space moving any non fitting children on a new line below(a FlowLayout). You have an example of such a layout, from one of the engineers wo

How do I get TeamCity to automatically merge a Git feature branch with master and fail the build in case of merge conflicts?
If you're using Github and Pull Requests then check out Hadi Hariri's blog post about how to get the pull request after it has been merged with master: http://hadihariri.com/2013/02/06/automatically-building-pull-requests-from-github-with-teamcity/ Github does an automatic merge for every pull request and the resulting merge is available (though pretty much undocumented) as git fetch origin +refs/pull/298/merge where pull request id is 298. And so all merged pull requests can be fetched with a wildcard in place of the id in Teamcity and be built automatically. The branch specification would look like this: +refs/pull/*/merge EDIT: You say you're not using pull requests so I guess you could do this with some git commands. I haven't tried this out myself so these are only a few tips

Working through this, I devised a method of attempting to install all pull requests (PR's) using captures and scripts. I found that wasn't necessarily a wise thing to do. The PR's often have conflicts. So, I decided that I need to select which PR I want on an individual basis and built this script, where %1 is the PR that I want installed: git checkout pr/%1 git checkout master git merge pr/%1 This is all after running the process specified in the original question, save for the git merge.

A rebase will basically undo all of your changes (E-L), update your code to D, then make all of your changes (E-L) on top of D. That's not really what you're looking for. I think you should do a git merge. git checkout cat git merge dog From the git-merge man page: Incorporates changes from the named commits (since the time their histories diverged from the current branch) into the current branch.
