ASP function not returning mssql insert id
You are assigning the function to the actual Field object, which gets invalid when you're getting out of the scope it was declared in. This should work fine: sqlInsert = CStr(rs("NewID").Value) And also close the recordset afterwards and Set to Nothing.

VB.NET Error : "The source of the report definition has not been specified." on Report Viewer Parameter Setting
In addition to .ServerReport.ReportServerUrl and .ServerReport.ReportServerCredentials you also have to specify .ServerReport.ReportPath that points to actual report in SSRS. This is report definition (ordinary an uploaded RDL) that you set the parameters for. E.g. ReportViewer1.ServerReport.ReportPath = "/My Reports/Summary Report"

Error while executing the rcov report, rails stats report and brakeman warnings from Jenkins
Look at the error: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /home/kannan/.jenkins/workspace/Publisher Dev/brakeman-output.tabs (No such file or directory) This means Jenkins can't find the report generated by Brakeman. Either you have not set up the job correctly or Brakeman is failing for some reason. You should check the console output for Brakeman errors and verify you have configured the job correctly as described here.

An error occurred during rendering of the report in SSRS Report
Sounds like you may have run into this known issue with SSRS. Try staggering your subscriptions as suggested in the Connect article, or if your resulting report is > 10 MB maybe see if the amount of data in the report can be reduced or a different output format is acceptable.

ASP.NET Error when exporting report (Crystal Report to PDF)
Below is the code that appear to me as problem. Response.Write("<script>") Response.Write("window.open('" & ResolveUrl("~Report ptHandler.ashx?p=user_id|date&V=" & user_id & "&T=0&N=POrderProcessingCard.rpt&C=ORCL_PO") & "','_blank')") Response.Write("</script>") The solution is to check properly on the parameter and the value you are passing to. For example above, I calling 2 parameters (user_id and date) while I'm only passing 1 value to it. Therefore it will prompt such an error. Hope it helps :)

Have a look at http://www.php.net/manual/en/mysqli-stmt.bind-param.php. There you can see, that this function takes only vars and no literals after the $types param. So replacing SQLVARCHAR, false, false, 255 with variables having the same values should do the trick.

sqlsrv error while connecting to mssql server 2008 on windows 2003 server
Two ways to try, first to check if the Native driver has the right version - is your server really a 32bit Version and not 84bit? The other thing is, to check if the extensions are actually loaded. To check that, create a file like "phpinfo.php" and put it in you folder for .htdocs. <?php // show phpinfo file phpinfo(); ?> The easy way is to search for it in the phpinfo-Page with Ctrl+F and "extension=php_sqlsrv_53_ts_vc9.dll"

Error generating Birt report
You can run 2.5 reports on BIRT 3.7. But you cannot run 3.7 reports on BIRT 2.5. Newer versions have newer features, BIRT looks to see what version designer version was used to create the report before running it. If you try to run a report created in version 3.7 on BIRT 2.5, it just won't run it. If it is simple report, you can get around this by copy and paste; Copy the design version from the xml of the 2.5 into the 3.7. BIRT will think it was created in 2.5 and run it. Of course if the report uses anything new from the 3.7 version that is not supported by the 2.5 software, it won't work. But if it is a simple table, it should be fine.

it seems that your problem is in your logging configuration: in settings.py LOGGING: 'handlers': { 'mail_admins': { 'level': 'ERROR', 'filters': ['require_debug_false'], 'class': 'django.utils.log.AdminEmailHandler' }, } This config indicate that mail_admins handler work only in DEBUG = False because the filter used. If you try with mode debug false or you can activate this handler in debug mode just comment the filters: 'handlers': { 'mail_admins': { 'level': 'ERROR', #'filters': ['require_debug_false'], 'class': 'django.utils.log.AdminEmailHandler' }, } Edit: Your configuration doesn't call mail_admins handler. Add it to the django logger like this: 'loggers': { 'django': { 'handlers': ['file', 'conso

Connection Error while trying to preview report?
I get this error sometimes and it relates to the data source being read only in the binDebug, binDebugLocal or binRelease directory (depending on your solution configuration variable). TFS makes the files read only, Visual Studio then copies the files to one of these folders in preparation to run the report. The next time it copies it the copy fails because the file is read only and for some reason the whole thing fails with the Named Pipes error message. You can just delete the entire bin directory and Visual Studio will rebuild the project and re-copy the files and your data source will magically work again.

Genexus PDF report with java error
first thing first, rt.jar shouldn't be in WEB-INFlib, perhaps you have in your classpath for compilation purposes but you shouldn't have it in runtime. Make sure your itext.jar and gxclassr.jar correspond to the generator version, ie: they are the same you have in your model web directory (JavaModel or DataXXX directory). Last, check the fonts you are using in the report layout, some font might not be available in your server, producing an error.

In SSRS, how do I compare a value of a parent report item with report items in a child group?
If I understand your question correctly, then I think you can use =IIF(MAX(ReportItems!Invoice_DueDate.Value) > ReportItems!Limit.Value,"Red","Black") You need some sort of aggregate function, such as MAX() to tell SSRS what the scope and operation of what should be done. (For example if you wanted to make sure the total didn't exceed the limit, you would use SUM(...)

SQL Server Report 2008 R2 Report Services - debug a custom assembly

While returning a DataContract from a WCF function, I'm getting this error: "An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response"
That's a pretty generic exception in WCF so you'll need to enable WCF tracing to get more detailed info. Just guessing but look at this MSDN forum thread where the list contained complex objects that exceeded the default internal object limits in WCF. Once you enable WCF tracing, you should have a better idea of what's going on.

Pygame screen crashes without error report
I'm fairly sure that you aren't inserting too many things onto the screen. I believe that the problem is far more simple. You have said screen.flip() However, a surface object has no attribute called flip. You must be confused with the function pygame.display.flip() If you use this instead, the game shall display its visual output.

BIRT report error column binding
I ran into this problem once. It seems (don't know exactly) that the report is binding columns that doesn't exist anymore when you change the database or change some things on the DataSet (for me it was the second case). Hope that it could help you!

Strange bug report – error caused by ProwlerAgent411
I have found a similar problem. But i noticed 1 thing. I had the activity inside my manifest. It was a legacy activity that I no longer used and it was removed in favor of a fragment, but I never removed it from the Manifest file. That caused that problem as far as it happened in my app. So basically in my Manifest I had .ActivtyAboutUs but nowhere in the app source code did I have ActivityAboutUs.java That might be the cause of your problem.

how to show entire report in single page using Report Builder?
It sounds like you need to set the InteractiveSize -> Height property to 0cm: This will prevent implicit page breaks when viewed in Report Manager or a ReportViewer control. This won't have any effect on printing, exporting to PDF, etc, as these media have to force page breaks no matter what - they're affected by the PageSize properties.

BIRT report output not visible in "view report as PDF" option
This looks like a moderately complex report. Try to narrow the possiblities by creating a very simple report with only a lable "test" and see if it opens in PDF on your 64 bit windows 8 machine. If it does then you know, there is something in your report blocking the PDF, if it does not then you have pretty much proven it is a bug with windows 8 64 bit version. If your simple report works, you will want to begin recreating your complex report one peice at a time, and testing it, with each new element. When it stops working you will know what breaks it.

How can one run an SSRS report using a set of data which is defined prior to the report being opened?
Why don't you create Report table that would have two columns PersonID and ReportID. Whenever the user selects a list of persons, you insert their ID's on this table and generate a new ReportID and on your report your query will need to do an Inner Join against this table. (essentially the same that you described but less hacky) and if besides the list of people you need other details (such as which fields to show) you can use the same approach. Another alternative is, since you're using a .Net app you can pass all the personIDs to the parameter list (create a multi-value parameter on your report) and SSRS will be able to deal with it.
