Live JPEG stream from webcam without using Flash
This can be done if you have a bunch of JPEG images using some creative javascript, but it won't be easy. You can always use a setInterval loop to place an image into place and swap it with the previous one, but depending on your frame rate, this might not go as smooth as you hope. Also bear in mind that the images will have to be loaded, so you might want to delay the display of the images and buffer them before trying to swap them into place (for example not make the stream "live", but delay it a few seconds so the images can be buffered).

Android Live Wallpaper - layers & basics of XML in Live Wallpapers
Today I've posted a live wallpaper template on GitHub which uses canvas and a separate animation thread. You might want to check it out, if you're just starting with live wallpapers. In your case, you should decode bitmap only once and then simply draw it. There is nothing wrong in redrawing bitmap every frame. If you want to have multiple layers simply draw them in order, so that the top layer will be drawn last.

spring security : managing sssion with live live servers
Assumption: Your legacy SSO works in different way from like Siteminder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identity_management_system) ExceptionTranslationFilter does not save url that triggered authentication entry point. It is responsibility of the authentication filter and authentication entry point to manage this. Please look for example to LoginUrlAuthenticationEntryPoint. In your case, you should implement your own LegacySSOFilter and LegacySSOEntryPoint. LegacySSOEntryPoint will redirect to Legacy SSO server and will redirect back to the original application after a user authentication. Please note, that you should provide a authenticated username to your redirect back to the original application (do it in the secure way) LegacySSOFilter should take the user name and to authenticate a

Submit form live via new jQuery - without .live
This is the expected behavior for on(). $("#form-xyz").on('submit', function(e) { .. } ); probably doesn't work because form-xyz is added to the DOM after the handler is bound. If you need to use dynamic elements with on(), you'll need to use a delegated event listener, which is what you did in your second example. You can read more about this in the documentation for direct and delegated events.

How to find what device is connected to USB port (HID or Disk drive) in C++
I would recommend looking at the USBView sample in the WDK. If you are unfamiliar with this, simply run it - this tool walks the entire USB tree on the system and prints out information and descriptor listings for each device. In your case, I'd start at the RefreshTree() function in this sample, you can then follow the code to see how it enumerates the host controllers, hubs and finally devices. For each device that you find you can look at the bInterfaceClass in the interface descriptors to find out what types of interfaces it is advertising (in your case 0x03 for HID Interface Class and 0x08 for Mass Storage Class). The easiest way to get the source to this sample is to install the 7.1.0 WDK which is currently available here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=1180

How to simulate slow and no-read-cache disk drive
If you do have the sourcecode you can write a class that emulates the behaviour of the disk and replace all disk reading/writing code with calls to your class. You need to cache requests done by the application and execute them after some delay. If you don't have access to the code your hope is to find a driver which emulates a slow disk...ifsuch a thing exists.

Where to put USB Flash Drive detection in WPF, MVVM
I would leave it in MainWindow.xaml.cs. If you need to overwrite WndProc it's tightly related anyway and it belongs to some "system interface" which normally doesn't belong to your view-model or model. Also, there's nothing wrong with using code behind. Well, it may be only a personal opinion.

The REST API is currently only available to US merchants. UK merchants cannot yet use the feature - sorry. From the FAQ page on Developer.PayPal.com: Do I need a U.S. PayPal account to sign up? To accept payments using the new REST APIs and PayPal Mobile SDK, we currently require a U.S. PayPal Business account. But stay tuned for more country support. Note that most countries can use our Classic APIs.

Live Tiles not Updating
The problem is that you are calling NotifyComplete() before the callback returns. By calling NotifyComplete you're telling the OS that you've finished all your work and the agent can be terminated. Obviously this isn't the case when you're waiting for your webrequest callback. The simple solution is to move this call into the callback method. obviously you'll need to handle error exceptions and the request timeout taking longer than the agent will wait for as well though. Changing to using awaitable code may make this easier for you.

Live streaming video in Qt
Decoding is no problem. You can use the QMediaPlayer class. Under Linux it actually uses the gstreamer libs. Encoding is not implemented. This is a bit beyond the scope of Qt5. And don't let the classes QMediaRecorder or QVideoEncoderSettings confuse you. They are mainly helper classes for QCamera or QRadioTuner, which provide an already encoded stream from their devices. If you need to encode single images into video frames and put them into a container, you need a 3rd party lib like ffmpeg. Streaming a video from on pc to another is easily implemented with Qt5. Encoding or transcoding cannot be done with Qt5 alone.

It didn't work out because you tried my answer from This Question but you have a different setup. So this will work: $("li.nav-item").click(function() { $("html, body").animate({ scrollTop: $($(this).children().attr("href")).offset().top + "px"}, {duration: 500, easing: "swing" }); return false; }); The point is that the element you are looking for #tag is inside an A element inside the LI element. I'm assuming that by 'token' you are actually referring to the registration ID. Old registration IDs can remain active for a while. However Google tells you that you need to update your regid for a particular device/app combination by means of the canonical ID in the response to your sent message.

cant push with git to live following tutorial
I have read quickly the tutorial. On the server, you have local modifications in the repository /var/www/myproject (named from the tutorial conventions). This repository should never be updated directly , otherwise it could contain unversioned modifications, which is not what you want. Error cause : when you do a git push, /var/git/myproject.git tries to update /var/www/myproject, but since it has local modifications, update fails. Solution : Go into /var/www/myproject on the server and run git reset --hard HEAD. This will remove all local modifications. Now you can retry a git push from your local machine, everything should be fine. To avoid the problem in the future, you can add git reset --hard HEAD after the unset GIT_DIR line in the /var/git/myproject.git/hooks/post-update file

I'm assuming in ControllerProductSearch you have more then one function called ajax. There might be a couple of different files called vq2-catalog_controller_product_search.php and the new site may be picking up a different version then what is intended because of differences in include paths. That may explain why it is working in one environment and not the other. I noticed two that it is being pulled from a vqcache directory, could vqmod need a cache refresh. To refresh the cache you simply delete the /vqmod/mods.cache file

Live Update ListView
According to your comment, you dont update the array IN the adapter, but an array held by the activity you passed to the adapter once. Thats why the adapter isnt updating properly. You are changing the array outside of your adapter-class, which might not be the same array-object your adapter is using. At onResume(), your adapter is recreated with the new array and showing the new content. A solution would be using the following custom Adapter class: class MyAdapter extends BaseAdapter { private Array[] myArray; public MyAdapter(Array[] myArray) { this.myArray = myArray; } public updateContent(Array[] myNewArray) { this.myArray = myNewArray; this.notifyDataSetChanged(); } // your getItem, getView, and so on methods } Then from your ac

Using slimscroll with jquery live() or on()
I had the same problem with slimscroll. I couldn't fix it, so I went to Google again. Found this one: https://github.com/LearnBoost/antiscroll. It claims to use native browser controls, so it should be better than most scrollbar extensions. Hope this helps you! Edit: Ow, don't forget to call $('.antiscroll-wrap').antiscroll(); after you edited the content of your page. Tip: For those who use $.clone() and find themselves having multiple (non-functional) scrollbars, use this to remove them: var antiscrollWrap = $clone.children(".antiscroll-wrap").first(); var antiscrollInner = $(antiscrollWrap).children(".antiscroll-inner").first(); $(antiscrollWrap).html(antiscrollInner);

Time to live memoization in F#
If you are willing to limit what to memoize to functions that take a string input, you can reuse the functionality from System.Runtime.Caching. This should be reasonably robust as part of the core library (you would hope...) but the string limitation is a pretty heavy one and you'd have to benchmark against your current implementation if you want to do a comparison on performance. open System open System.Runtime.Caching type Cached<'a>(func : string -> 'a, cache : IDisposable) = member x.Func : string -> 'a = func interface IDisposable with member x.Dispose () = cache.Dispose () let cache timespan (func : string -> 'a) = let cache = new MemoryCache(typeof<'a>.FullName) let newFunc parameter = match cache.Get(parameter) w

jQuery resizable .Live()
The hovers do not work after the first time because you've called resizable("destroy"); Calling that Removes the resizable functionality completely. This will return the element back to its pre-init state. Without more knowledge of your goal (or other code), it's tough to tell what the best option is.

jQuery live alternative (is there only on()?)
The selector for the elements that you want to bind using .on needs to exist when .on is called. That is to say that if .removebet does not exist when .on is called (it sounds like it doesn't), .on won't bind to anything. Your safest bet would be to use $(document).on("click", ".removebet i" ... Ideally pick an existing selector that is closer to the target descendants than document.

(iPhone) Live FFT from iPod
You can't get the currently playing audio (security sandbox prevents this) on iOS, unless your app is the one playing the audio using certain select APIs (Audio Queue, RemoteIO, etc.) 3 bandpass filters (made with IIR biquads) will be faster than an FFT. But even a full FFT will use a very small percentage of CPU time. An app can't convert or play protected music from the iTunes library in a form where samples can be captured. The FFT is in the Accelerate framework, not in the audio session.

Why was .live() slowing down my page?
When you'r using .live() it will work like a trigger and the script will need keep runing until this action happens. And it'll consume RAM gradative. When you use .change() on that case, the jquery will assume this change on native javascript event. And it'll be lot more faster. Take a look here and here to understand better how events work on jquery.

Python off a Flash Drive, how to start IDLE?
It can not be guaranteed this is possible unless you have high enough system privileges that you can change the global path. There is really no way around this on most computers that you do not own, which I imagine is the main purpose. In those cases when you have enough privileges (it is worth a try some systems still allow this for regular users but many others do not) you can use: setx PATH "%path%;yourpath" edit and ps: You can figure out the drive letter without input, if you know the disk label, with something like this: @echo off set label=DRIVENAME set cmd=WMIC logicaldisk WHERE volumename^^="%label%" GET caption FOR /F "tokens=1" %%G IN ('%cmd% ^| find ":"')DO set pydrive=%%G echo %pydrive%pathtopython rem do your stuff here the idle started inside the batch will inherit
