Is it possible to programmatically access the error codes logged by CoreBluetooth?
In an application you can only use the CoreBluetooth APIs. Those expose only CBError which, as you see it right in many cases can mask the real error. So the answer for officially accessing the source errors is that you can't do it. However, if you want, you can access the Apple System Logs programmatically. (See post: Using Objective C to read log messages posted to the device console) You can define a query to return the items you are interested in and try to deduct the real reason of the error. This is a heuristic method but at the moment, unfortunately, we have no other way to do it.

Aviarc: access logged in user during error screens
When using the system/error.xml workflow to catch errors, the authentication dataset is not available. Instead, enclosing most of the start workflow with a <with-error-workflow name="error.xml"> <!-- main app start goes here --> </with-error-workflow> to catch errors will provide the authentication dataset.

I have still not cleared with that error code . But now solved that problem . I have created characteristic with property CBCharacteristicPropertyWriteWithoutResponse so above error is removed . Also data writing smoothly to the peripheral . But still wanted to know that error .

CoreBlueTooth: Getting error even if data is written into writable characteristics
I have figured it out. The issue was with Characteristics type. Instead of "CBCharacteristicWriteWithResponse" I used "CBCharacteristicWriteWithoutResponse" and it worked. I did this after reading this: writeValue forCharacteristic writeType, this function is the primary function for writing to a characteristic on a device. the writeType property is either set to write with no response or write with response. When write with response is used, all writes to the peripheral are cached while the iOS device is waiting to receive the ok response and the callback. When write no response is used, the data will not be cached. This is important when using things which need low latency, like an RC car or helicopter etc. when using write with response, the iOS device may sometime lag behind, which d

Grails, can't access logged in user instance from gsp
So your "/" path is wired to some controller in UrlMappings, in that controller there should be static defaultAction = "list" probably, which points to method that will handle your "/" path, or if no defaultAction set then it will be index(){...} method. So that method responsible for "/" path does not pass secUserInstance to your "methodName".gsp file and this is why you cannot get it. While in /secUser/show/1 you access secUserController show method wich has [secUserInstance : secUserInstance] or something similar and passes that object to gsp file. You could add secUserInstance accessible to every page using filters linke in: Add logged in user to context for all GSP pages Or just pass that user object in your method responsible fo '/'

How to restrict access to certain pages with JSF 2 after user has logged in?
But the answer didn't mention how to block access to page. With response.sendError ? It's fully to your choice. It all depends on your business requirements. Do you want to redirect to login page? Just do that! response.sendRedirect(request.getContextPath() + "/login.xhtml"); Or, do you want to show a scary and user-unfriendly HTTP 401 error? Just do that! response.sendError(HttpServletResponse.SC_UNAUTHORIZED); At least, anything but continuing the request to the restricted resource by chain.doFilter(). Otherwise the whole restriction would be pointless. Also what is the best to use PhaseListener or to use ServletFilter ? A servlet filter is designed to intercept on HTTP requests and runs only once far before FacesServlet is invoked and is therefore capable of hooking

Not able to access Spring Security Logged in User info
When you use security="none" all spring security filters will be switched off (see this entry from the official documentation). So no SecurityContextHolder, no @PreAuthorize, no other Spring Security features are available. For example normally SecurityContextHolder is populated by one filter from security filter chain. As a workaround almost always you can replace security="none" construction by restriction for anonymous user only: <security:http ... /> ... <security:intercept-url pattern="/userstuff/**" access="IS_AUTHENTICATED_ANONYMOUSLY"/> .... </security:http>

Error mapping US Zip codes with topojson
@Hugolpz - sorry, I didn't I didn't respond. I didn't get notified of your comment. I finally figured it out. I'm recording it here so maybe it will help someone. I originally got my zip code shapefiles from the US Census website (currently down because of government shutdown). It was called tl_2012_us_zcta510.zip and was 836MB. I tried to convert it using topojson using the parameters @mbostock suggested here: http://bl.ocks.org/mbostock/4965422 Conversion took over 12 hours giving node.js 6GB of memory to convert the shapefile into a topojson file. It still wouldn't work in d3.js (see errors in original question). Also, debugging that large of a json file it was difficult to debug. The original shapefile also wouldn't display in QGIS. I eventually gave up and searched for different

exception handling with different error codes
The only information I've found... which I guess is my best answer: With the errno module I can at least rewrite my current code as: import errno #... except OSError as e: if e.errno == errno.EEXIST: print "Warning: Directory %s already exists, e..." elif e.errno == errno.EACCESS: sys.exit("Error: Directory "+target_dir_name+"..." If I upgrade to python 3.2 there is the much nicer: except FileExistsError: print ("Warning: Directory %s already exists, e...") except PermissionError: sys.exit("Error: Directory "+target_dir_name+"...") Seems I could do something fancy with using sys.version_info.major and minor to make sure it's at least 3.2 as well. Hopefully something better will come up...

REST API error codes return structure
Personally I would give the users less detail and either dump errors needed to the developers in a database log table or system logs. Due to the fact you are using JSON and that is most common on Apache servers and your code looks likely to be php (but your code example with curly braces could be a number of languages originating from PASCAL eg. C, C# PERL, PHP, CSharp). Here is how to put output custom errors to the system logs if you do not already know how in php http://php.net/manual/en/function.syslog.php . If your are using a rarer configuration IIS with JSON and CSharp there are .NET libraries to do similar too. If you give your users too much information when an error occurs you are also giving a hacker in the future a way of probing your website.

svnadmin load : interpreting error codes
160017 is SVN_ERR_FS_NOT_FILE "Name does not refer to a filesystem file" svn_error_codes.h defines all the error codes, where each error category is of size 5000 #define SVN_ERR_CATEGORY_SIZE 5000 and start error code is 'APR_OS_START_USERERR', whose value when calculated comes to 120000. (See here) So, calculation for error category is: (error_code-120000) / 5000 (160017-120000) / 5000 = 8 (whole number) = category SVN_ERR_FS_CATEGORY_START So error code 17 under this category is SVN_ERRDEF(SVN_ERR_FS_NOT_FILE, SVN_ERR_FS_CATEGORY_START + 17, "Name does not refer to a filesystem file")

How do I reduce the codes require to check error
@ECHO OFF SETLOCAL ECHO y|FIND "y" >NUL CALL aberr matching y and y pause ECHO x|FIND "y" >NUL CALL aberr matching x and y pause ECHO y|FIND "z" >NUL CALL aberr matching y and z pause GOTO :EOF The above is a testing scenario, setting errorlevel to 0, 1, 1 in succession, then CALLing then batch aberr.bat to analyse the result. Here's aberr.bat @ECHO OFF IF %ERRORLEVEL%==0 GOTO :EOF ECHO %ERRORLEVEL% found %* EXIT Note here that there is no SETLOCAL (which would set ERRORLEVEL to zero) and that the routine EXITs. Consequence is that if aberr.bat is on the PATH then the message produced would show the errorlevel found plus any text that was on the CALL aberr line after CALL aberr. You could place a PAUSE after the ECHO %ERRORLEVEL% line to show the result, or log the result

Scriptella: get error codes and messages within onerror tag
Unfortunately there is no easy way to achieve that. onerror was based on the assumption that a developer knows an error he is dealing with. But I do agree this has to be improved. The problem was partially addressed in a Feature request: Allow different connection-id in onerror element. So for 1.1 or earlier versions, this is not possible. For a current development snapshot of 1.2, this information can be inferred from the "error" variable as explained in the ticket. I've also created a subticket to expose additional properties of the error.

It seems as if the column or field that gets the value 8736900083240, is either int or is cast to int. This value is too big to be stored in an int field. An int32 field can store a max of 2147483647 and an unsigned int32 can store a max of 4294967295. You may like to use a long or a suitably sized data type for 8736900083240 value.

Where can I find a list of JSHint numeric error codes?
I would recommend: http://jslinterrors.com/ This isn't a side-by-side list of all the errors, but it has each error (broken out by JSLint, JSHint, and ESLint) which include the specific error code per item. For just JSHint, you can scope the view: http://jslinterrors.com/jshint/ Edit: The codes can be found at the bottom of each section, if it relates to a fatal syntax the code cannot be suppressed. Edit 2: Looks like they've added ESLint as well.

Access Asset Catalog programmatically
In order to access the image from the Asset Catalog, you only need to access the name of the asset group without any extensions. So, if you add an image named @"my-button@2x.png" to the Asset Catalog, it will create an asset group called my-button. Now, all you have to do is access the image like so: [UIImage imageNamed:@"my-button"]; Also, you can edit the asset group by renaming it (without renaming the images) or changing it's individual components. This will allow you to follow easier naming conventions as well as show completely different assets between different UIScreen scales without any scale checks. In order to incorporate images for different device sizes, you may need to toggle it under the "Devices" subheading in the Asset Catalog Group's options. Here is an example of t

No, this means that you have an error in your logic. You try to access an array element by index, which is greater than array size Try changing the logic of the array retrieval: int Pixel=binarized.getRGB(q,p); This works because the method expects: getRGB(int width, int height), but you provide height, width to it

How do you programmatically access the ambient light sensor on Mac OS X 10.5+?
I've found the closest thing I can -- example code from a Firefox bug report last modified in April 2013. The following works, producing a simple CLI program to query the sensor (taken freely from https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=793728#attach_664102). The service polled is "AppleLMUController", which you can then extract relevant information from -- the snippet below creates a serviceObject=IOServiceGetMatchingService(kIOMasterPortDefault, IOServiceMatching("AppleLMUController")), which is then used. // lmutracker.mm // // clang -o lmutracker lmutracker.mm -framework IOKit -framework CoreFoundation #include <mach/mach.h> #import <IOKit/IOKitLib.h> #import <CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h> static double updateInterval = 0.1; static io_connect_t dataPort = 0

This doesn’t answer your question, but it’s good to know about a new API call that appeared in 10.9 and lets you display the authorization screen or bypass it: NSDictionary *options = @{(id)kAXTrustedCheckOptionPrompt: @YES}; BOOL accessibilityEnabled = AXIsProcessTrustedWithOptions((CFDictionaryRef)options); Passing YES will force the authorization screen to appear, passing NO will silently skip it. The return value is the same as the one returned by AXAPIEnabled(), which is getting deprecated in 10.9. To make sure that the function is available on your system, just compare it to NULL: if (AXIsProcessTrustedWithOptions != NULL) { // 10.9 and later } else { // 10.8 and older } You'll need to add ApplicationServices.framework to your project, and import to your .m or .h fi

Soundhound - Android - How to programmatically access Favorites ?
Local app storage is generally restricted. One application can not access the local storage of another's without explicit permission of some sort. Either the application (Soundhound) has to set access to global (unlikely) or explicitly expose the data via some sort of API (also extremely unlikely). I would expect this to not be reasonably possible (without root permissions).

It is perfectly possible to intercept the calls to console.log, thanks to javascript's flexibility : var oldConsoleLog = console.log; console.log = function (x) { oldConsoleLog.call(console, x); alert(' this message was printed into console ' + x) ; } Obviously, alerting would be very annoying, but you can change the alert to whatever callback or event raising of your like.
