Thread 1 signal sigabrt error
Here's your problem: [GADObjectPrivate changeState:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance Did you type the method name correctly? This means the method you are calling does not exist. More specifically the GADObjectPrivate class does not contain this method. The crash when calling changeState: has been asked before. See this question: AdMob crashes with [GADObjectPrivate changeState:]: unrecognized selector

Thread 1 : SIGABRT error in simple storyboard app
Your nib file is incorrectly constructed, most likely. It would appear that you have something other than a table view connected to the table view controller's outlet that should point to the table view.

Runtime Error -- Thread 1: Signal SIGABRT -- No Console Output
As pointed out by Evan Mulawski and CodaFi in comments, this is a known bug: Are you using OS X 10.8.4? If so, there is a bug in that update that affects the simulator. Use Edit Scheme and switch the debugger from LLDB to GDB. http://www.tuaw.com/2013/06/05/devjuice-10-8-4-and-the-ios-simulator/

Thread 1 SIGABRT
Looks like you did not delete the first button's Outlet after you changed it to an Outlet Collection (deleting/changing just the code is not enough). To do that just right click (or CTRL+click) on the first button and delete the Outlet under "Referencing Outlets" and that should fix it.

I get this "Thread 1: signal SIGABRT"
Assuming firstNum and secondNum are UITextFields - the text properties of those objects will be NSStrings. You can't convert them to numbers by doing a cast to NSNumber. This will just change the type of the pointer but do nothing to actually convert the representation of the data from text to a number. The simplest solution is: self.fnumberOne = self.firstNum.floatValue; self.fnumberTwo = self.secondNum.floatValue; The floatValue properties will actually convert the text to a float. Then perhaps you don't even need the self.numberOne and self.numberTwo properties? If you still do, you can do this (and similarly with self.finalNumber if you need that too): self.fnumberOne = self.firstNum.floatValue; self.fnumberTwo = self.secondNum.floatValue; self.numberOne = @(self.fnumberOne); self

Thread 1: Signal Sigabrt iOS App Crash

Thread 1: Program received signal SIGABRT
The problem is explained by the crash report here: [ISTableViewController topViewController]: unrecognized selector sent to instance You are sending the method topViewController to an object that does not implement the method. Which means somewhere in your code (not in what you have shown here) you are sending a message to an object which is not what you think it is.

Thread 1: signal SIGABRT in main.m file
-[game pause:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x845ece0 This means that you have an instance of the game class (which, btw, that class should be Game, not game, classes are capitalized) and something is calling the method pause: on that class, but there is no pause: method. Given that the class is called Game (fixed) and pausing seems like a reasonable thing to do to a game, it is unlikely that this is an over-release problem. pause: seems like it is something that you might have a button hooked up to in interface builder. Did you, perchance, rename the pause: method to something else (pauseGame:?) and not fix the connection in IB? And that pause: implementation is inside the @implementation Game scope? If so, trying cleaning the project and rebuilding as there may be a de

php codeigniter - var_dump shows array but return is null
You are not returning anything in else part. else{ $q = $this->getWhere(array('id'=>$id),null,null); array_push($this->branchPath, $q[0]['pageParent']); $this->treeTrunk($q[0]['pageParent']); } should be else{ $q = $this->getWhere(array('id'=>$id),null,null); array_push($this->branchPath, $q[0]['pageParent']); return $this->treeTrunk($q[0]['pageParent']); } As posted in you question you are passing 150 to treeTrunk() function, so it goes to else part and gives you null result. The if part will evaluate when you pass 0 to treeTrunk() function.

creating a class based on NSMutableArray causes Thread 1: signal SIGABRT
NSMutableArray isn't a true class that you can subclass. It's actually part of a class cluster which makes it effectively abstract. You can create a subclass of a class cluster class, but there are several things you need to do. It's much easier to create your class as a wrapper around an NSMutableArray instance and provide the appropriate methods explicitly.

calling a thread sleep or wait inside a grails bootstrap file shows error
The expression you are providing as the argument: 0.3*1000 refers to multiplication (float*int= float), the result is then inferred Float type. You should provide a long argument as the parameter of sleep function, and you can achieve this by simply casting the expression result: Thread.currentThread().sleep((long)(0.3*1000));

I guess you should think fo a better approach than iterating over the EditTexts with getChildAt() to collect all the value. I take it that the user can change the values in the EditTexts, you can have an Array of size 30 of Values and everytime the user enters / changes a value you change the according value in the Array. Use a listener that changes the values in your Array like this.

How to resolve SIGABRT error for ios?
This issue is fixed. I am answering this question to let the user know about the issue. The cause of the issue was actually in the GUI. Some null pointer was the cause of the crash. So I have added null checks to resolve the crash. Null checks make code freaky but indeed a helpful way to resolve the similar type of crash as this.

iOS SIGABRT error on Build & Run
It seems like it's a problem with permissions. I had the same problem time ago, and I discovered that it was happening if you create a project in a certain directory, and then you displace it in another directory and you try to run it from there. Maybe there is a smarter solution, but I can tell you that if you delete the project and create a new one, copying all the files from the old project to the new one, without displacing it in another directory, it will not crash.

SIGABRT Error on my TabBarController when selecting the second tab
This part of your console log tells you what's going on: [<GameResultsViewController 0x758cce0> setValue:forUndefinedKey:]: this class is not key value coding-compliant for the key display.' * First throw call stack: At some point in your app, an object is trying to set the 'display' property on an object of the GameResultsViewController class - but that class does not have this property. It might be a stray outlet in Interface Builder if you've renamed a property - the old connection still exists in Interface Builder, so when the NIB loads the runtime tries to connect the outlet and fails with this error. Or you have a line of code somewhere where you have something like gameResultsViewController.display = ... and the display property is incorrect (either incorrectly named, o

iOS first steps - getting the annoying SIGABRT error
I also had this error while doing Matchismo. After spending so much time, I found how to fix it. The way I fixed my error was by going in story board. Below the iPhone screen, there will be small yellow button. Right click on it and you will see that is causing error. Delete(x) it if there is yellow error sign. If this does not fix your error then try to make new project and then replace its blank files with old files of your old project. I had same error in very beginning and by doing this program run without any error. Other people suggests by restarting your laptop and running it again, reseting the iOS simulator, or changing iOS debugger (however this does not work in latest x code since there is only one debugger) Hope this helps

Cocos2d: SIGABRT error with sprite sheets
You have a dictionary in a dictionary situation. Your theDictionary object points to the root of the plist. First problem is: since you have 2 different plists you can't use the same dictionary object to read information from both plists. Without seeing how you initialize theDictionary I can't tell but unless you merged the contents of both plists only one of the two plist's information will be in it. Next if you want to get the PlayerProperties (or frames) dictionary, you'd have to do something like this (assuming theDictionary represents the game data dictionary): NSDictionary* characters = [theDictionary objectForKey:@"Characters"]; NSDictionary* player = [characters objectForKey:@"Player"]; NSDictionary* properties = [player objectForKey:@"PlayerProperties"]; NSString* spritesheet =

App crashes and Program receives error signal SIGABRT
I'm assuming you're using [this library][1], but it doesn't match up with what you've posted. Because the LeavesCache library on GitHub has no setDataSource method in the code - it's property declared instead. Have you made modifications to the source? Somebody has, because you seem to be setting the pageCache instance variable in one method to a NSMutableDictionary, and in another to a LeavesCache object. Is there any particular reason why you're using this library? As far as I can tell, it hasn't been updated for three years, and iOS has supported iBooks like page turning interface since iOS 5 natively, using the UIPageViewController class.

SIGABRT error when calling a scheduled method from another class
The reason is that the expected method declaration is different for scheduleSelector vs performSelector: // scheduleSelector sends a delta time (float) -(void) method:(ccTime)delta; // performSelector sends no parameters -(void) method; // performSelector:withObject: sends an id parameter -(void) method:(id)object; So you can't do: [self performSelector:@selector(redEnemyFlight:) withObject:nil afterDelay:2.0f]; Because the to be performed method has the wrong signature: -(void)redEnemyFlight:(ccTime)delta; You should rather use scheduleSelector in this instance. Also if you run the above performSelector code in BlueEnemy, this will perform the selector in the BlueEnemy object (ie self). To actually perform the selector on red enemy you'd have to have a reference to the red enem

Cocos2d: .plist file giving me a SIGABRT error
Okay I don't know if this is what is causing the error, but I immediately spotted an error in your code. NSMutableArray* characterArray The asterisk should be immediately before characterArray. As I read further, there are several minor errors in the code you posted. Asterisks are in the wrong places are there are too many spaces in certain areas. My suggestion is to read through your code line by line to help catch such errors.

My hibernate application shows message in console and shows session closed error on browser
At first look it seems like a possibility of 2 issues ContactManager object which you are trying to save is null Your variable name 'Contact' is incorrect, it should be 'contact' (some hibernate thingy) Where is your hbm.xml file ? There may be a reference of 'Contact' the class in that file still around somewhere Edit Solutions Put a if (developer != null) before your 'save(developer)' Rename Contact to contact Put the hbm file contents on the question, without that cant review the mapping Hope it clear now. Edit 2 : Do a clean build. Its possible your build is not updated.

OpenCV Error: Null pointer (NULL array pointer is passed) in cvGetMat
This question might better be answered by Mohamed Aly, the guy who actually worked on this. His contact is right on the page you linked. That said, let's take a look. (There's a TLDR if you want to skip this) The error is caused by the cvGetMat in the cxarray.cpp file. The first couple lines of which are: 2362 cvGetMat( const CvArr* array, CvMat* mat, 2363 int* pCOI, int allowND ) 2364 { 2365 CvMat* result = 0; 2366 CvMat* src = (CvMat*)array; 2367 int coi = 0; 2368 2369 if( !mat || !src ) 2370 CV_Error( CV_StsNullPtr, "NULL array pointer is passed" ); ... return result; } It isn't until later that we actually check if you're image has data in it or not. So now lets find where Mr. Aly used cvGetM

ReloadData for UITableView not working; tableView returns NULL when logged
This is happening because you are calling a method on tableView before it actually exists. Simply initializing that class doesn't draw the table itself, so using reloadData before the table has actually been created doesn't really make any sense. What you want to do in this situation is create your nameArray in whatever class is calling setTableViewContent, and then pass it in either via a custom init method, or by setting tableVC.nameArray before loading that table view controller. What I would do is make custom init method like - (id)initWithArray:(NSMutableArray *)nameArr Which should look something like this: if (self = [super init]) { nameArray = [nameArr copy]; } return self; Then where you have TableViewController *tableVC = [[TableViewController alloc]init]; put TableView

jQuery AJAX post to MVC Controller object -- request shows up null
When you JSON.stringifyied your data object you converted it to JSON. But you forgot to set the Content-Type request header and the Web API has no way of knowing whether you are sending JSON, XML or something else: $.ajax({ url: '/api/contactus/newmessage', type: 'POST', contentType: 'application/json', done: submissionSucceeded, fail: submissionFailed, data: dataObject }); Also when building the JSON you don't need to wrap it in an additional property that matches your method argument name. The following should work as well: var dataObject = JSON.stringify({ 'Email': $('#inpEmail').val(), 'Name': $('#inpName').val(), 'PhoneNumber': $('#inpPhone').val(), 'Message': $('#inpMessage').val() });
