App Crashing from multiple videos
I don't see a method named: - (void) moviePlayBackDidFinish:(NSNotification*)notification in any of the code snippets you've cut & pasted (although it's not obvious if either view controller is actually your "ShoreViewController" object, either) If it doesn't exist in your code, that would explain the "unrecognized selector sent to instance" crash.

multiple videos play one after the another
Assume you have a Videoview, you could for example put the paths to the videos into an array, and detect the end of playback like this: videoView.setOnCompletionListener(new OnCompletionListener() { @Override public void onCompletion(MediaPlayer mp) { //start next video here //for example, set video path to next array item } });

Android Multiple YouTube Videos in Activity
My understanding is that this is the intended behavior. (It may or may not have something to do with limitations associated with hardware accelerated video playback.) What you're seeing is the YouTube Android Player SDK enforcing a one-video-at-a-time limitation.

Uploading Multiple Videos on server simultaneously
Multi servers can help. On a single server: If you use a single core processor - only ONE client will get served. If you use a multi core processor and you are oppening a new thread for a new connection - only #ofCores clients will get served, and even that is not correct because your local memory might run out before your os will save the data to your local hard disk (which has one bus), so serving 500-2000 clients leads you to a multi server solution.

Specify multiple filters in hbase
You have to create a FilterList object, and add all the filters you want to that, and set this FilterList object as the filter. You can either use the constructor or use the addFilter() method to add filters to the filter list. FilterList filterList = new FilterList(); filterList.addFilter(new RowFilter(...)); filterList.addFilter(new ColumnFilter(...)); Scan s = new Scan(); s.setFilter(filterList);

OpenCV won't open some videos of many videos of the same format
I understand that this is a crash? If so, the answer is pretty simple: there's a bug in codec, from the name of the DLL I think that's ffmpeg H264 codec. You should try to update it, or just avoid it.

AS3 - Loading multiple videos into the same container - addChild removeChild
If you add the video into a container movieclip rather than onto stage, and that container only has just one instance of SimpleVideo in its display list at a time, you could do: if( myVideoContainer.numChildren > 0 ) { myVideoContainer.removeChild( myVideoContainer.getChildAt( 0 ) ); } A bigger issue though is how the SimpleVideo class you are using cleans itself up. Most video classes have a cleanup or kill function that removes the listeners and cleans up the netStream. I would think you'd need to call something like that as well as removing the video instance from the container.

You're missing one step. You need to call -processImage on your GPUImagePicture instance to get it to propagate through the filter chain. You also need to call this anytime you change values within your filter chain and wish to update the final output.

Most efficient way for doing multiple PCAP filters
The fifo-approach is probably not very efficient as it involves copying lots and lots of memory from A to B (e.g. 400mbps buffered - they must not block each other - to four fifos, each having a different filter, deciding to throw away 99.99% of accumulated 1600mbps). Multiple captures on the other hand only trigger action in userland if there is actually stuff to do. The filtering is (usually) done in the kernel. A third approach is to use libwireshark, the lower portion of Wireshark, to do filtering (and wtap for capturing). This involves quite some code overhead as libwireshark is not exactly in perfect shape for third party use outside of Wireshark. However this does come with the ability to use Wireshark's "Display Filters", which are compiled to bytecode and reasonably efficient. M

Rackspace - php-opencloud filters - Documentation for valid ObjectList filters?
Unfortunately, the underlying API doesn't support filtering for objects in Swift/Cloud Files containers (cf. http://docs.rackspace.com/files/api/v1/cf-devguide/content/List_Objects-d1e1284.html). The $filter parameter is supported as part of the shared code, but it doesn't actually do anything with Cloud Files here. I'll see if I can get the docs updated to reflect that.

Maybe you should add a title argument, as well, and change the $1 part of title="$1"`.

You can get a bit closer using $.not() $checked = $(checked); $unchecked = $(unchecked).not($checked); // <== keeps all the checked stuff out of your not checked list This will keep things at the front of the list, in the order they were checked. I believe this is what you are asking for, although it may not be what you end up wanting :) Example fiddle To me the UX is a bit of though as items with multiple categories checked don't push their way to the top of the list. Unable to apply multiple objectlistview filters chosen by user
It appears that you are reading an Excel file into your ObjectListView widget. I think it would be easier to load the data into a sqlite database and then use SQL commands to do your filtering. I prefer using SQLAlchemy. That way I can create a class that represents the data that I can use both for SQLAlchemy and for my ObjectListView widget. You can read about some of this sort of thing in the following articles: http://www.blog.pythonlibrary.org/2012/06/04/wxpython-and-sqlalchemy-loading-random-sqlite-databases-for-viewing/ http://www.blog.pythonlibrary.org/2011/11/10/wxpython-and-sqlalchemy-an-intro-to-mvc-and-crud/

Vim multiple filtering of a file, with 2 filters based upon number values
The following generic form will match the numeric parts of your format: ^s*-?d+s+-?d+ To implement restrictions on the numbers, replace each -?d+ with a more specific pattern. For example, for <= -50: -([5-9][0-9]|[1-9][0-9]{2,}) That is, - followed by either a 2 digit number where the first digit is >= 5, or a >= 3 digit number. Similarly, for >= 250: (2[5-9][0-9]|[3-9][0-9]{2,}) Combining the two: ^s*-([5-9][0-9]|[1-9][0-9]{2,})s+(2[5-9][0-9]|[3-9][0-9]{2,}) If you also need to filter by some pattern in the description, append that: ^s*-([5-9][0-9]|[1-9][0-9]{2,})s+(2[5-9][0-9]|[3-9][0-9]{2,})s+.{-}Greece .{-} is the lazy version of .*. Play sound when silence in the room; stop sound when voices heard
I don't think the noise made by the iPhone speaker will be picked up by the mic. The phone cancels sounds generated by the speaker. I read this once, and if I find the source I'll post it. Empirically, though, you can tell this is the case when you use speaker phone. If the mic picked up sound from the speaker that's an inch away from it, the feedback would be terrible. Having said that, the only sure way to see if it will work for your situation is to try it out.

Play Background Sound and Sound Effect in Windows Phone 8
The issue you are seeing with your MediaElement is that you are defining it to be part of the application page and it stops playing as soon as it disappears off of the Visual Tree (i.e. after OnNavigatedFrom). If you define a MediaElement to be "visible" as part of the application frame, audio will keep playing while your app is active (you will need to handle deactivation events, naturally). If you do this MediaElement should work for your "background audio". Be aware you can only have one single active MediaElement playing media in your app, however you should be able to use SoundEffect for your sound effects. Update: To put your MediaElement in a frame, you will need to create a custom PhoneApplicationFrame class/XAML, add the MediaElement to that XAML, and refer to your custom f

prevent multiple sound files from overlapping as played
There are a lot of different ways you could potentially solve this problem. The first one that comes to mind is keep a local variable that is the currently playing sound. - (IBAction)playSound1 { if (self.playingSoundPlayer != nil) { [self.playingSoundPlayer stop]; } self.playingSoundPlayer = self.sound1Player; [self.sound1Player play]; } You could get fancy and make sure you set the playingSoundPlayer to nil when your sound finishes playing, but it probably won't hurt anything to call stop again, so it's sort of up to you.

pygame sound just pops-not the real song/sound
If you are meaning to be using Python 3, check to make sure that you aren't running it with Python 2. Your prints are written like the Python 3 functions rather than the Python 2 statements, but they are still valid in Python 2. The parentheses are just treated as parentheses rather than function calls. I don't see any code in what you posted that would be invalid Python 2. It's definitely possible to write a project in Python 3 without doing anything that would upset the Python 2 interpreter, but would nonetheless give weird bugs, especially if you happen to have installed pretty much the same libraries for both versions of Python. (I've done it, but not with a big project.) In Python 2, the pygame.mixer.Sound doesn't know whether a string object is a buffer or file name, so you are sup

Play sound when app is closed without hardcoded path to sound
First, you should not have a MyActivity.getInstance(), as that is a memory leak. Second, whatever code is raising the Notification already has access to a Context, as that is where you get a NotificationManager from. getPackageName() is a method on Context. So, for example, your GCM IntetnService is a Context, and so not only can it use getSystemService() to retrieve a NotificationManager, but it can call getPackageName() on itself to find out your app's package name.

JSyn, siren sound using oscillator fed/controlled/inputInto/daisy-chainedTo by another oscillator and a constant...and generating more than one sound
There are a number of things that could be improved here. 1) You created two synthesizers: com.jsyn.Synthesizer synthPCMSonification = JSyn.createSynthesizer(); com.jsyn.Synthesizer synthPCMAlarm = JSyn.createSynthesizer(); That is only needed if you are running some synthesis in non-real-time or at a different sample rate. I highly recommend only using one synthesizer. Connecting units across synthesizers or running the same unit on both synthesizers will cause problems. I suspect that is the main error. You can have multiple LineOut units in one synth. Or you can mix automatically by connecting multiple units to the LineOut. 2) I recommend starting with just one oscillator connected to a LineOut. After you can get that to make sound, add the modulation. 3) You can get exponential

The way you are handling your buttons position is incorrect, and I am not sure how it compiles. In your draw method you define a local variable rect that already exists. Huge latency while playing sampled sound javax.sound.sampled
You don't appear to be setting the audio buffer size used by the audio system - instead you are using SAMPLES_PER_BUFFER to control the number of samples that are generated at once. These are not the same thing - the operating system will be requesting renders of whatever buffer size it uses (and on MacOSX, samples are pulled through a callback). This code: while ((bytesRead != -1) && !done) { bytesRead = osc.getSamples(sampleData); if (bytesRead > 0) { audioLine.write(sampleData, 0, bytesRead); will simply be filling up the audioline's buffer until it blocks. A render request will then arrive, which empties the buffer and it then unblocks again. This will happen at the rate of the audio buffer size.
