Find app on computer and send to phone via phone number
You would need to implement something like twilio on your website. They provide an API that you can use to send text messages. It looks as though pricing starts at around 1 cent per message. They provide libraries in a variety of languages to help you get started.

Send image using TCP Socket Client App in Windows Phone
You could certainly write all of this yourself but have you possibly considered using a library to help save time? If so then checkout networkcomms.net, in particular a tutorial on sending non-primitive objects, using an image in the example, here. Disclaimer: I'm a developer for this library.

How to send a phone number between activities?
Used SharedPreferences. There'a nice thread here for it. With it, you can save the number in a Preference file (visible only for the current application and not in the file system). Like this one: private final String PREFS_NAME = "savefile"; private final String KEY_NUMBER = "num"; String strWithTheNumber = "00 123 456 789" String strSavedValue = ""; SharedPreferences sharedPreferences = ctx.getSharedPreferences(PREFS_NAME, Context.MODE_PRIVATE); //To put the phone in the file SharedPreferences.Editor editor = sharedPreferences.edit(); editor.putString(KEY_NUMBER, strWithTheNumber); editor.commit(); //To retrieve the number strSavedValue = sharedPreferences.getString("num", null);

How to automatically send a sms to a predefined phone number
As others wrote in comments, you really need to not only show the stack trace from logcat, but tell us where line 395 is. Otherwise, we can only guess which of the many possible references contained a null. That said, I'm going to take a stab at this and guess, by elimination of other possibilities, that the culprit is autoreplytext. Although you didn't show us your XML for the views, I suspect that you need to change this line: final EditText autoreplytext = (EditText)findViewById(R.id.autoReplyText); to final EditText autoreplytext = (EditText)autoReply.findViewById(R.id.autoReplyText); The first line searches in the content view for your main activity -- in other words, it searches within R.layout.activity_main. But it looks like you're looking for a View that's contained

How to send form information from website to a phone number's message inbox?
Directly? No. You can use either: A general SMS Gateway service (which you will have to pay for) A GSM modem connected to the server (which you will have to get a contract for) A gateway service particular to the cellular provider of your client (some offer email to SMS gateways)

Client A change source mac address to Client B when send packet, But Client B's module can not rx packet after server sent
Probably because your switch has seen client B's MAC address on the port to client A and has remembered that. It will therefore send the reply on the ethernet port to client A, not to client B's erhernet port. This seems to be a networking issue, not a programming issue. Therefore this question might be more appropriate on a different forum.

Strings are appearing in uppercase in Windows Phone 8 with Cordova
I am guessing that you began your work on the new app by extending the template onwards. That's a valid strategy, but the template's CSS styles include the following rule: body { text-transform:uppercase; } That effectively causes everything to show in upper case.

using cordova to send messages to webview for processing
Don't know about Cordova but if you were planning to use it only to do this, you should know that you can easily execute a javascript instruction on the webView: webView.loadUrl("javascript:functionA();"); You may also want to provide an interface between the javascript environment in the webView and your App itself, take a look at the addJavascriptInterface method of the WebView class http://developer.android.com/reference/android/webkit/WebView.html#addJavascriptInterface(java.lang.Object,%20java.lang.String)

Android send SMS through an app and keep it on phone
Sending and SMS through SMSManager will never add the text to the other texting app, you have 2 options 1) The "correct" android way using intents (this will take users out of the app) Intent sendSMS = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW); sendSMS.setType("vnd.android-dir/mms-sms"); sendSMS.putExtra("address", "5558675309"); sendSMS.putExtra("sms_body","Your message here"); startActivity(sendSMS); 2) The undocumented way that seems to work most of the time here (Your mileage may vary). // code shamelessly copied from link above Context context; //you should initialize it somewhere ... ContentValues values = new ContentValues(); values.put("address", number); values.put("body", message ); values.put("date", time ); context.getContentResolver().insert(Uri.parse("content://sms/sent"), values);

When run on my phone, the send button still does nothing?
sorry about the response time I was away from my computer for the weekend. That being said you are missing this line at the end of your sendMessage function: startActivity(intent); This tells the activity to be started with the intent you created. Right now you are creating an intent but not sending it anywhere. Hope that helps.

Windows Phone app - How to make a threaded Tcp Client
If you can use HTTP rather than bare sockets, here's a starting place describing async /await pattern for web requests (and other APIs). http://msdn.microsoft.com/EN-US/library/vstudio/hh191443(v=vs.110).aspx Or you can open a NetworkStream, http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.sockets.networkstream.aspx then use async methods with a regular StreamReader. If all else fails, you can use the bare sockets async calls: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.sockets.socket.receivefromasync.aspx but those don't use the shiny new async / await keyword; it's more like handling events from a control.

Is writing DHCP client on Windows Phone 8 even possible?
Since DHCP is a simple UDP protocoll it should be possible. You just need to check if it is possible on wp8 to open the ports in that low range. In linux that requires root permission, but luckily we use Windows.

Android send udp when phone sleep
If you are wanting to send data periodically while the phone is sleeping, start a thread. It will continue running when the app is sent to the background. Or better, create a service if your data is very important. Services have priority over threads. The phone will automatically select which network to use (ie. 3g/4g if available, network if not)

Is there any way to send email with attachment in windows phone
I dont know about security concerns of MailMesssage.dll. However, if you wish to send transactional EMails, then there are few services available. In such a case, you will not be required to create your own service. The popular one's are: Sendgrid Mandrill by MailChimp MailGun by Rackspace All services provide free tier and may be helpful, if you need to send, less EMails. Moreover, besides SMTP, these services provide Web APIs, so you can send mails using REST interface.

How to send email with C# on Windows Phone 8 with from field
You should better send email from the server, not from windows phone app. If it doesn't need user's account then there is no reason for the email to be created from the phone. Maybe you can POST to an URL with required info, and make the server (your service) send the email.

Cannot send response to TCP client
Your ruby client completes execution and exits after sending the message to your server. It does not expect any response from server so it does not wait. You only need to modify your client like so: s = TCPSocket.open(host, port) s.puts data puts s.read(2) //wait for response The read is blocking so client won't send next message until it receives something from server in the loop. To send data parallely you would have to a) use non-blocking I/O in ruby (don't know how) or b) wrap this around a wrapper that spawns a thread for each client.

send image from server to client and from client to server
read() on a socket stream will return -1 only if connection is closed or an error occurs. Server receives the data and saves it but never leaves the receiver loop to send data. Even if it would do the client wouldn't then leave its receiver loop either. You must either close the connection or send file size before the actual file and receiving stops when given size was read.

Can't send data to client using winsock2.lib
Well, one issue is, what are you sending from your server? This code: iSendResult = send( ClientSocket, recvbuf, iResult, 0 ); seems to be sending iResult bytes (which is 0 from last listen call) of an uninitialized buffer recvbuf. The client seems to have a sendbuf which isn't used anywhere. Seems like a few bugs to clean up and you'll be functioning...

Send email using smtp client in c#
If you can use .NET 2.0 or later, then you can use the SmtpClient.SendAsync method, which will create a new thread to send the email on and free up the main thread for more processing. Read SmtpClient.SendAsync method for documentation. You should also look into using Generics if you are using .NET 2.0 or later, it will provide type safety for your Emaillist object, but not much performance improvement, because you were not getting the unboxing hit common with ArrayList, because you were not using value types. Here is what your EmailList code might look like using Generics List<T>: List<listData> Emaillist = new List<listData>(); while (sqlData.Read()) { listData itemData = new listData(); itemData.email = sqlData[0].ToString(); itemData.email_header = sq

Client Send Raw Data To service WCF
You can turn on logging. The easiest way to do this is to use the WCF Configuration editor. Click Tools->WCF Configuration Editor this will load the utility, just close the window. Then you can right click on your config file and select Edit WCF Configuration Then select Diagnostics and turn on everything. Note: This will have very significant performance implications. If you have to hand build it (the hard way) then In your service config in <system.serviceModel> Here is the entry for full logging. <diagnostics> <messageLogging logMalformedMessages="true" logMessagesAtServiceLevel="true" logMessagesAtTransportLevel="true" /> </diagnostics> you set up the listener as so, change MYPATH to whatever. <system.diagnostics> <

Why won't my statement send to client side?
You are never reading from your socket input stream in your client program (created by statementin = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(echoSocket.getInputStream())); ), so you never actually try to receive it. You need a in.readLine() in your client program in the loop, after while ((userInput = stdIn.readLine()) != null) { out.println(userInput); It should look like this: System.out.println(in.readLine());

Sockets- Client's Send not working
The line memcpy (&Char, &temp, sizeof(temp)); should be memcpy (Char, &temp, sizeof(temp)); &Char gives you the address of the local variable that points to your allocated memory. You want to copy temp into the allocated memory instead. Based on your description of the problem, I'd guess that sizeof(temp) > sizeof(char*) so you currently write to areas of the stack in use by other variables, including the socket handle s_id which gets corrupted. Note that you also leak Char at present so should add delete[] Char after calling send. Alternatively, you could avoid allocating Char at all if you pass the address of temp into send IntVal temp(values); int tempp=send(s_id,&temp,sizeof(temp),0);

Netty Client Won't send more data after a while
Things that worth take a look at is if there is some networking gear, such as firewalls, that might had closed your connection, bear in mind that is not in the protocol the connection state handling. So it is likely that you have a half closed connection. If you did set the keepAlive option make sure it is performing those ping over the wire. Best thing to do is to check in both sides of the connection if the socket still open. While the connection is alive but idle (the client is not receiving data) check if the connection is in status ESTABLISHED. And do the same in the server side. From there with tools such as Wireshark and trace try to establish if the connection was dropped on the server or it was killed by a firewall.

How to send messages from server to client?
Sounds like a task for WebSockets. It is part of Java EE 7 so the Glassfish should be one of the first AS that will support it. For intercepting the DB access you can use @PostUpdate and @PostPersist. Here is related question. There are many ways to do the so called Server Push for notifying the connected clients: polling (the link you've provided in the question ("Are we there yet? Are we there yet? ...")) long polling (smarter way of polling - long-lived HTTP technique using keepalive messages) WebSockets (JSR 356) piggy-backing SPDY(wiki) Server-Sent Events (related answer, wiki) EDIT: In the Java world, there are couple of frameworks where server push (reverse ajax) is implemented out-of-the box. If you are familiar with GWT, I would suggest Errai. Other alternative is the Atmosp

Please help how to send images from client to server?
When sending a file from the client to the server, the client is not telling WriteStream() to send the stream size, but the server is telling ReadStream() to expect the stream size to arrive, so you have a mismatch. When sending a file from the server to the client, the server is telling WriteStream() to send the stream size, and the client is telling ReadStream() to expect the stream size to arrive, so there is no mismatch.

How to send a message to a particular client with socket.io
You can refer to socket.io rooms. When you handshaked socket - you can join him to named room, for instance "user.#{userid}". After that, you can send private message to any client by convenient name, for instance: io.sockets.in('user.125').emit('new_message', {text: "Hello world"}) In operation above we send "new_message" to user "125". thanks.
