Vertical Align of Input text box
Although I am against using tables for anything other than tabular data, in this case they can be extremely useful and effective for aligning form input elements: <div id ="address1"> <p><b>Residential Address:</b></p> <table border = "0"> <tr> <td><p> Line1 : </td><td><input type="text" value="@Model.Mem_ResAdd1" name="Mem_ResAdd1" /></td></p></tr> </div> Continue the table for your other input elements.

100% height input-field and align text vertically
Try this, should align vertically: input { //// vertical align position: relative; top: 50%; -webkit-transform: translateY(-50%); -ms-transform: translateY(-50%); transform: translateY(-50%); //// margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; text-align: center; border: 0; outline: 0 } Not sure if the height: 100% will avoid the job, try it without height: 100% if it doesn't work. If that's the case, maybe the solution is to calculate the height everytime with javascript/jquery.

What are the difference/similarities between React (app framework from Facebook) and react.js (reactive extensions for JS)?
react.js is a language extension that lets you have automatic binding for values. The name React comes from the automatic updates of the values when one changes. react( "soonChanged = undefined" ); react( "reactive = soonChanged + 5" ); react( "reactive2 = reactive * 10" ); react( "soonChanged = 10" ); // Changes the value of reactive from "undefined5" to 15 // and of reactive2 from NaN to 150 React on the other end is a framework to build user interfaces. The name React comes from the automatic update of the UI when some state changes. /** @jsx React.DOM */ var converter = new Showdown.converter(); var MarkdownEditor = React.createClass({ getInitialState: function() { return {value: 'Type some *markdown* here!'}; }, handleChange: function() { this.setState({value: thi

Why kinect color and depth won't align correctly?
This is a well known problem for stereo vision systems. I had the same problem a while back. The original question I posted can be found here. What I was trying to do was kind of similar to this. However after a lot of research I came to the conclusion that a captured dataset can not be easily aligned. On the other hand, while recording the dataset you can easily use a function call to align both the RGB and Depth data. This method is available in both OpenNI and Kinect SDK (functionality is same, while names of the function call are different for each) It looks like you are using Kinect SDK to capture the dataset, to align data with Kinect SDK you can use MapDepthFrameToColorFrame. Since you have also mentioned using OpenNI, have a look at AlternativeViewPointCapability. I have no ex

Facebook native app not loading my app request correctly - Android
Okey I solved it. I solved it by checking the "Mobile Web" option on Facebook settings and then putting a url there. (Same as my Canvas URL). Weirdly Facebook uses the notification purely as a link to this page. I then used that page to redirect users to the Google Play page if the device was an Android. And finally the user got to the app on Google Play. Very strange that Facebook could not use a fallback if this option isn't checked.

UIButtons don't align correctly upon first load of View Controller
This issue went away when I unselected "Use Autolayout" in the file inspector of the UIViewControllers. Though as rdelmar pointed out in the comments, it is funny that it was working at all, as I was actually creating a new ViewController with every segue from my back button, and not popping back to the previous existing ViewController. It should have been working the same in both ways, as the View was always loading 'for the first time' ...

How to detect current input-text's index from an array of input-text with jquery
.index() gets the element's current position relative to it's siblings. You should use a regex to get the number between [ and ] in the input's name. Use this instead: $('input[name^=quantity]').change(function () { var index = $(this).prop('name').match(/[(.*?)]/)[1]; alert(index); }); Here it is working: http://jsfiddle.net/u8HRq/1/ UPDATE: Based on your update here's a working fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/qbmAU/2/ First off ids should be unique so I've changed them to classes and updated the selector for the change event. I've also got .index() working: $(this).index('.quantity') index() usually works by returning the position relative to the matching siblings which is why mine and j08691's answers were working. However, if the elements aren't siblings then you can pas

Align an input box at a particular location
it is always difficult to centre an element with position:absolute specified. By some hacks we can achieve that but that solution would be more of a patchy work. your .roundcorner will take its left and right from its parent which is centeredSplash containing your background image. you can try this.. .centeredSplash { position:relative; width:100%; height:100%; background:url(Coming-soon.png) center center no-repeat; } .roundcorner{ background-color: #eae53f; -moz-border-radius: 8px; -webkit-border-radius: 8px; border: 0px solid #000; padding: 15px; width: 400px; /*important*/ margin:0 auto; /*This will keep your box center in all screen resolutions*/ } input { -webkit-border-radius: 5px; //For Safari, etc. -moz-border-radius:

Align a button at the down-right of an input
Why don't you use CSS? Use something like this: <div id="outer-container"> <div id="container"> <div id="label">Your Label<input id="input" /></div> <div style="height:10px">&nbsp;</div> <div id="button">Your Button</div> </div> </div> CSS: #outer-container{ padding: 20px 20px 20px 20px; width:500px; height:200px; background-color:#eee; } #container{ width:300px; height:100px; margin: 0 auto; background-color:#ccc; } #label{ float:right; } #button{ float:right; } No magic here. Just regular formatting. Just don't be afraid of div-tags. Maybe you need more containers around your mask. See the fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/Ahg5c/1/.

How can I align select and input elements on a form?
I would start by being more consistent with your containers. You put the input directly inside the td, but you put the select inside an li. Try putting them both in the same containers. You probably don't want to use an li right there since it's not in a list. So I would probably get rid of the li in the second td.

Why is the plot title not scaled correctly when scaling the text size with theme(text = element_text())?
According to the documentation plot.title inherits from title which inherits from text. So this seems like a bug. The canonical way to increase the size of all text is setting the base size in the theme. This preserves the relative text size of all elements. A plot (without downloading your big dataset, which is unrelated to your question): p <- ggplot(mtcars, aes(factor(cyl), mpg)) p + geom_boxplot() + ggtitle("Boxplot") Increasing the base size: p + geom_boxplot() + ggtitle("Boxplot") + theme_grey(base_size = 20) #default is 12
