If condition within JQuery click() function requires 2 clicks to fire, but anything outside the if block will fire on first click
You are checking the src attribute value, when you click for the first time src == './images/me.jpg' but you are checking it against the full path. Try var source = "./images/me.jpg"; var source1 = "./images/me1.jpg";

jquery .one() fire query for one time but how can i able to fire query once if something is going wrong inside .one()?
You want to use one() for this, but plain ajax. Instead of the way you do it now, make a variable called something like 'allowAjaxCheckLogin` and set it to true. In your regular click handler you check if it is true, if so, set it to false and do the ajax part. When ajax is done and the user needs to be able to do it again, set it back to true var allowAjaxCheckLogin = true; // set to true, normal/startsituation allows a click $('#submit').on('click', function(){ // User may trigger actions: if( allowAjaxCheckLogin === true){ allowAjaxCheckLogin = false; // Instantly set to false, if the user clicks again, nothing will happen $.ajax({ /* ajax settings here */ }) .complete(function(){ // this always fires, here you can check if you need to re

how to get todays feeds using graph api
Lets take a look at the documentation for graph api: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/pagination/#timepaging According to that it uses http://php.net/manual/en/function.strtotime.php function to convert the "since" parameter. So if you want to get it for today you can do something like: 1061547241/feed?fields=object_id&since=today This would give you feed since start of the day i.e. 00:00:00. For more details on formats you search for datetime.formats in php, doesn't allow me to post more than 2 links.

RSS Feeds to be implemented with images
You need to create the RSS feed dynamically and host it somewhere. Given you have a PHP website you already have a "web application" in place. You could build something that reads the forum categories and articles and spits a simple RSS to the screen. Then link your RSS icon (if thats what you are doing) to that page. Creating an RSS feed is actually very simple. For instance: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <rss version="2.0"> <channel> <title>The RSS title</title> <link>The link to this page, i.e. your feed</link> <description>Description for the feed. Some readers use that so make it nice :)</description> <!-- Repeat as many items as you need, i.e. as the number of your articles --> <item> <title>

How to store RSS feeds in Android?
First off, do not rely on the titles being unique. Instead, use the guid field which is meant to be the unique identifier for the item (see the RSS specification). Updating feed Go through each item in the retrieved feed and see if the guid already exists in the database, if so, skip it. If it does not exist, create an entry. So, revising your logic: Start parsing the RSS feeds. Read the guid of the newly fetched RSS feed. Does it match the guid of any row in the database? 3.1. No, then keep parsing and add this feed to the database. 3.2. Yes, then stop parsing and add this feed to the database. Order of the items There is also a field called pubDate which indicates when the item was published. Simply store the pubDate for each item in the database and use it in an ORDER BY clause

How to post feeds to twitter?
My first port of call if you are able to receive information from the account using those credentials, would be that your app has read AND write (posting) permissions: Go to dev.twitter.com/apps. Select your app, then under 'settings' --> 'application type' you will find what you need. Although that didn't work, no matter what you changed in your code posting to your account through this app wouldn't work as that functionality was outside the permissions you set yourself. So now we know that you're able to post: Change $connection->post('statuses/update', array('status' => $message)); To $result = $connection->post('statuses/update', array('status' => $message)); Then see what the value of $result is. This might provide some clues Ok so the response is telling

Aggregate RSS Feeds and Search them
We (http://superfeedr.com) provide an API for feeds that will do the fetching parsing and diffing your behalf. You'll have to store the entries on your end in the database of your choice, as well as the indexing based on your needs, but I don't see any particular challenge with that. Our community contributed a rack adapter which does integrate pretty well in Rails projects I believe :)

XML 2.0 RSS Feeds Processing Android
Don't reinvent the wheel.. As recommended here,use android-rss library to read parts of RSS 2.0 feeds.I have used it in my project and it works brilliantly.. RSSReader reader = new RSSReader(); RSSFeed feed = reader.load(feedUrl); List<RSSItem> list = feed.getItems(); for (RSSItem i: list) { i.getTitle();//title content i.getDescription();//description content i.getLink();//link } To view the description content use Html.fromHtml which would return styled text.. TextView textView= (TextView)findViewById(R.id.textView1); textView.setText(Html.fromHtml(descriptionContent));

getting incomplete description in RSS feeds
Try adding another else section but look for "content:encoded". I believe just "content" will not work based on the tags I saw. else if (localName.equalsIgnoreCase("content:encoded")) { feedStr.setEncodedContent(chars.toString()); } -- Original answer for thread -- That is normally under control of the generator of the feed, not you as the consumer of the feed. In configuring the RSS feed for say, a blog, the owner decides to either include the entire text or to include only some subset as an abstract. Some feed owners may do the subset to have you actually visit the site rather than just have you consumer the feed.

nuget feeds and promotions
I'm one of the authors of the book, so I hope you liked it! We're working on a second edition with lots of new content, and this particular case is being tackled as well. Just to clarify, the CI --> QA --> PROD scenario is set as an example package promotion flow: you can create your own if you like. You point is correct: package promotion should not require any modifications to the package nor its contents. This effectively means there's not even a rebuild of the binaries inside of your package when promoting it to another feed. The only exception to this rule is the package prerelease version, which can be adjusted or removed. Note: the semantic version should stay the same when promoting! This is a core feature of http://www.MyGet.org: here's the documentation for it http://docs.myge

You must use https:// when passing an access token. Possibly, your access token don't let you fetch those details since you have not authorized your app to fetch user_events. You can check the access token here. So, you have to check whether the user have authorized your app for this action or not before making this query. You can also fetch the permissions that user has granted at any time using- /me/permissions

How to search for and read Xively public feeds
a4o, It sounds like you are getting the basics of it. You do need a Master API Key as opposed to a device specific one in order to use the global feed search function. I just tested and you are correct that a non "private access" key will return private feeds that you own. It won't let you do anything with the feed with that key, but it does return the info. I will bring this bug to the attention of the Xively developers so they can sort it out. To answer your question, as far as I can tell there is no way to get a device's read API key using a master key. The only time a key is returned is during the activation process for a device: https://xively.com/dev/docs/api/product_management/devices/activate_device/ Alternatively, you can list all of your feeds, but they will not return a feed

How to identify nonpubsub feeds using SyndicationFeed class in C#
I'm not a C# person, but based on the docs, it looks like for each SyndicationFeed object, you can access its links. Then, for each of these SyndicationLink, you should check the rel element. It its value is hub then the href is the hub's url. If there is no rel="hub" element, then you can assume that the feed is not PubSubHubbub enabled :) PS: Shameless plug: Superfeedr acts as a default hub, which means you can subscribe to any feed whether they support PubSubHubbub or not and receive notifications for them (we also nomarlize the content!)

Fixing validation errors in Pelican RSS Feeds
I believe the solution is to modify feedgenerator, changing: handler.addQuickElement("guid", item['unique_id']) ...to: handler.addQuickElement('guid isPermaLink="false"', item['unique_id']) RSS already has a link attribute; feedgenerator currently assumes the unique_id is a URL and should not do so. I suspect this is the best way to address the problem.

How to order feeds by their latest item contained?
You need to add a last updated column of type DateTime, and set the value appropriately when inserting or updating rows, as your needs dictate. That is to say, set its value depending on whether you want the most recently updated item or the item which was most recently added (updated versus inserted), as they may differ. You can then order by this new column. You cannot use order by on the data as shown to find the last modified item, as publish date is (almost certainly) the date the book was published, not the date the row was added to the database.

How this plugin can read RSS feeds without cross-domain issue?
It uses google api which can crossdomain everything =) http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/services/feed/load?.... take a look at yql var yql=function(a,b){ return 'http://query.yahooapis.com/v1/public/yql?q='+ encodeURIComponent('select * from '+b+' where url="'+a+'"')+ '&format=json'; }; usage var crossdomainurl=yql(url,(xml,json,html,feed,rss...)) returns the crossdomain url for (xml,json,html,feed,rss...) now you can use xhr without any problem the xhr.response returns always a json in this case. Full Example: var x=function(a,b,c){c=new XMLHttpRequest;c.open('GET',a);c.onload=b;c.send()}, yql=function(a,b){return 'http://query.yahooapis.com/v1/public/yql?q='+encodeURIComponent('select * from '+b+' where url="'+a+'"')+'&format=json';}; x(yql('PUTFEEDURLHERE','xml')

How to two different tags for images from different feeds as one single tag in yahoo pipes?
The first problem is easy. For each input feed, use a Rename operator rename or copy dom elements to your unified format. Then after you union all your modified input fields, you can use the unified names. The second problem is tricky. I usually work around cases like that by using a Rename + Regex + Loop(String Builder) operators like this: Rename the relevant fields, just so that they become easier to work with later, for example: Rename item.div.div.0.div.div.a.href to link0 Rename item.div.div.1.div.div.a.href to link1 Rename item.div.div.2.div.div.a.href to link2 ... Using a Regex, try to make the irrelevant link0, link1 empty, for example: In item.link0 replace ^.*[^/]$ with nothing In item.link1 replace ^.*[^/]$ with nothing In item.link2 replace ^.*[^/]$ with nothing ...

Extract feeds list from an OPML file in java
This should fairly straight forward. You can take one of hte following two approaches. Use java parsing capabilities and parse it as any XML file. Here is an example using DOM parse. There are lot of the open source code/libraries for doing this. Here is one such example. This class has a method public ArrayList<OpmlElement> readDocument(Reader reader). You can create a Reader object from the OPML file and pass the same to this function. Please note that this library depends on xml Pull parser libraries. So if you do not want to add another dependency use the first approach. Here is another example on this forum itself.

How do I get the Public Feeds from our Fanpage without forcing users to accept an app
If you are an admin on the fanpage, you can provide yourself with a page access token that has been extended indefinitely through Scenario 5 https://developers.facebook.com/roadmap/offline-access-removal/ and set that in the PHP SDK while saving it to the database $facebook->setAccessToken('PAGE_ACCESS_TOKEN'); When a user grants an app the manage_pages permission, the app is able to obtain page access tokens for pages that the user administers by querying the [User ID]/accounts Graph API endpoint. With the migration enabled, when using a short-lived user access token to query this endpoint, the page access tokens obtained are short-lived as well. Exchange the short-lived user access token for a long-lived access token using the endpoint and steps explained earlier. https:

Show content from custom tables into wordpress standard rss feeds
Okay I guess I answer my own question. The way I have accomplished it is using by following the workflow as: Create a custom template file for rss feed which contains all queries to pull your required content and rss code. Then cope the following code inside your theme's functions.php Code: remove_all_actions( "do_feed_rss2" ); add_action( 'do_feed_rss2', 'ipc_project_feed_rss2', 10, 1 ); function ipc_project_feed_rss2( ) { if(file_exists(TEMPLATEPATH . '/ipc_rss_feed_template.php')) load_template( TEMPLATEPATH . '/ipc_rss_feed_template.php'); else die("RSS Feed not found.."); } The code above will override your standard feed so it uses your new custom template file for RSS Feeds
