Using facebook graph api how to get news feed with large picture size if the feed type is photo?
I'm currently searching for the same thing. I know you can swap _s for _n at the end and get a larger size... but I haven't figured out how to have the api return the larger size on its own.

Facebook Graph API - Get profile picture prior to authenticating
I also have questions for you: How do you want to display the picture of someone without knowing who he/she is? How can you guess which account the visitor will use to connect? It looks like you want to know whose Facebook account was lastly connected on the browser of your visitor. Technically, you would want to read another site's cookies, which is 1) not allowed 2) impossible. Several additional things you need to know: http://graph.facebook.com/USERNAME_OR_USERID/picture is a public way to retrieve someone's photo. You don't need a token for that. What else do you need? Using FB.API("/me", ...) from the JS SDK implies that "me" represents the connected user. It cannot just be used alone. By the way, identical questions have already been answered and accepted: Facebook app wi

Open graph story posted succesfully using graph API but not seen neither on the timeline nor in the Activity Log
I could totally be wrong, but you may need to submit your Open Graph action to Facebook for approval. And you'll need to set explicit sharing if you want your action to show in places other than your own timeline and activity. I say I could be wrong because you should at least be able to see your action within your activity log. It's difficult to say without looking more closely at your Open Graph Action and Object.

Facebook Ads API - How to create NewsFeed ads?
Are you using the Ads API documentation? Once you create the page post (via the /feed connection of the page) or have someone create it using the page management interface you create a type 25 or 27 ad using the post ID you retrieve from the API, or from the response of the API call you used to create the post itself. The /promotable_posts endpoint returns the ID of any posts that can be turned into ads, it's a subset of the posts on /posts A sample type 25 and 27 ad creative are included in the 'examples' section of the Creative Specs documentation e.g. the type 27 example, modified to use a specific post ID, not the most recent post on the page: curl -F "name=sample creative" -F "type=27" -F "object_id=<PAGE ID>" -F "story_id= <POST ID>" -F "access_token=_____" "

How to access facebook public newsfeed json/xml without authentication
I don't know about Android but For Facebook API, I managed to get users / pages feed (public only) using the graph for a small project I was working on, this snippet might help you <?php $pageContent = file_get_contents('https://graph.facebook.com/USER_ID/posts?fields=id,name&limit=1&access_token=ACCESS_TOKEN HERE'); // You can use your app token $parsedJson = json_decode($pageContent); // decode JSON echo $id = $parsedJson->data[0]->id; // this echos only the latest post ID ?> So as you see, the code above requests Facebook graph and returns only post (latest one) from the user feed (because I limited it &limit=1) that code is working for me and might works for your needs

adding a Post To Facebook Timeline from iOS APP
I'd guess the compiler error is actually "Implicit declaration of function 'aPost' is invalid C99", although the formatting of your action method code is wonky as written. The compiler is only going to produce that error message the first time it encounters the function call to aPost. aPost is written as a method that has no return and takes no arguments. You are trying to call it as a C function, passing it two arguments, which the compiler interprets as an entirely new function. As aPost is written with all the hard-coded strings, you probably just want to change the calls to aPost(arg1, arg2); to [self aPost]; (provided aPost and publishAction are in the same class).

The confirm doesn´t come for new sites, it usually comes if you aren´t using an app id (which is the case here), or if spammy behaviour is detected. Try using an app, just select it in the generator: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ This could be the solution, but to make it more visible, the user has to add a comment too.

How do I publish a Facebook Collection on the Users Timeline per default?
Straight answer: you can't (Sorry for the heart break!). From facebook collection docs: A person using your app can optionally add your custom section to their timeline. Custom sections and collections are not added to the timeline by default. Sections are generally opt-in. More reading So basically a user has to manually add your section. Although I kind of felt that I never added section for Goodreads on my timeline, but it was still visible, so I thought there might be some way, but after researching on it for two days I could not find anything definitive as to why this was happening. Two theories I could come up with (and these are my private take on the issue, so take them with a pinch of salt): Maybe facebook adds sections for some top apps (well you could argue what that mean

How to implement auto publish to user's facebook timeline just like Instagram ?
your case perfectly suits the model in the chart. You said "I am trying to make the post that user publish to our app to user's facebook timeline". I'm assuming you are attempting to mimic instagram since you mentioned it. Let's say user A 'logged-in-by-facebook' on your app and made a post within your app, the app posted to your server (and push back to other users of your Android/iPhone app so they can see, right?). At this time, there's nothing to post to the user's timeline, the scope is in your app only. If the user chooses to post to his Facebook timeline, you take that very same post (which is now saved on your server) and made the call to Graph API and post there, so his friends on FB just see the FB version, not the one within your app.

Why facebook access token from Spring Social returns empty array, while Facebook Graph Api token works fine
You need to submit a post request to spring social ConnectController for the specific provider e.g. http://wwww.yourdomain:8089/connect/facebook. Spring social then will redirect the user to facebook authorization page where the user will grant your app with the asked permissions and send back a code to your server. Spring social then will exchange that code for an access token. You need to establish a connection for that user to be able to perform requests against FB on his/her behalf. Here is a doc page that might help http://static.springsource.org/spring-social/docs/1.0.0.M2/reference/html/connecting.html
