How to view notes in notepad
You can create a new activity. Copy and modify stuffs from the NoteEdit class if you want to make it quick and dirty. If you have time, you should spend some time think about design and follow DRY as Code-Guru suggests "Copy and paste coding is a poor design". public class NoteView extends Activity { private NotesDbAdapter mDbHelper; private TextView mTitleText; private TextView mBodyText; private Long mRowId; protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); mDbHelper = new NotesDbAdapter(this); mDbHelper.open(); setContentView(R.layout.note_view); setTitle(R.string.edit_note); mTitleText = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.title); mBodyText = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.body); mRowId = (savedInstanceState == null) ? null

Web Deploy Command Line Logs in Event Logs (Updated / Inserted / Deleted Files) in event logs
I don't believe you can log the activities to the event log, but what you can do is use the -xml parameter to output the changes in XML format. You could then use this to log to the event log via a Powershell script, for example.

You should look at using a content provider and cursor loaders, it's a bit of work but it's probably the best way to be able to share data due to a couple of reasons, see for my opinion on content providers see Android: What is better, using a SQLiteCursorLoader or implementing a ContentProvider? View all transaction logs in SQL Server 2014
As far as I know your only options for this are: Third party tool ApexSQL Log (Red Gate has a free tool but only for SQL Server 2000) Undocumented commands such as DBCC LOG or fn_dblog. Change data capture – this is SQL Server feature that automatically creates history tables but its only available in enterprise edition We are also evaluating SQL Server 2014 CTP 1 for it’s in memory features but I haven’t been able to find anything on this topic. I don’t really believe MS is going to allow this any time sooner. Right now their focus is on enterprise level features such as high availability, in memory queries and such… Also, they have their own version of this in CDC.

Transaction Performance Impact of Materialized View Logs
Yes, there will be an impact. The materialized log needs to be maintained synchronously so the transactions will need to insert a new row into the materialized view log for every row that is modified in the base table. How great an impact depends heavily on the system. If your system is I/O bound and you've optimized it so that physically writing the changes to the base table is a significant fraction of the wait time, the impact will be much greater than if your system is CPU bound and most of your wait time is spent reading data or performing computations. If you are really concerned about the performance of the OLTP system, it would make sense to offload reporting to a different database on a different server. You can replicate the data to the reporting server using Streams (or Gol

Intellisense in notepad++
I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but Notepad++ (current releases) have a form of this known as AutoComplete - go to Settings > Preferences > Auto-completion and tick the enable auto-completion for each input* button. As for the Firefox OS API specifically, I don't know if that works. But I know you can achieve the intellisense effect with languages themselves, anyway. Keep in mind the differences between "Function Completion" and "Word completion" inside auto-complete: Function Completion uses external cues to tell you exactly what you're trying to write in, as it autocompletes functions from an API. Word completion meanwhile may be more helpful in your case; If Firefox OS API can't be worked into NPP, you can at least auto-complete functions that you've already

Am I stuck with Notepad++?
Any IDE can be used to use MSSQL with PHP, the IDE doesn't actually do anything in relation to the database. Your PHP interpretor only sees PHP text files and executes them when needed, and manages everything that is database related. If you are looking for a good IDE, PHPStorm is a very good choice : http://www.jetbrains.com/phpstorm/

Using regex in notepad++
You might try: Find: d*.d* MB (yes, there's a space before the first d). Replace with nothing. d stands for a digit in regex, and you need to escape the dot since the dot is a wildcard in regex. * is an operator and means 0 or more times. The square brackets is a character class and would otherwise match any one of space, M or B. Just remove them here.

RegEx Notepad++
I suggest a two step approach. First get all the lines with the STNO and a number. Second remove everything except the number. Select the Mark tab in the find dialogue. Ensure Bookmark line is ticked. In the Find what box enter STNO:s*d+ and then click Mark all. Access Menu => Search => Bookmark => Copy bookmarked lines. Then paste into another buffer. Alternatively, to work in the same file use Menu => Search => Bookmark => Remove unmarked lines. Now you should have all the wanted lines in a buffer. Do a regular expression search and replace setting Find what to be ^.*STNO:s*(d+).*$ and Replace with to 1. Then click Replace all. The above assumes that there is only one number to be found per line. ========================= As only the numbers are wanted, another method would be to p

.append not working in Notepad++
You're appending a div to the html element: $("html").append("<div><form> Category Name: <input type = "text">") You should put it in the body or below, not in the html element. $("body").append("<div><form> Category Name: <input type = "text">") While some browsers may show the div anyway, you're creating an invalid structure. Sticking to a valid one is probably best. (Note that creating this via the DOM is totally different from actually writing an HTML file with that content. There are "optional" tags in serialized HTML — such as that from a file or URL — but that's different from building an invalid structure via the DOM.) It's also probably a good idea to include the closing tags in the fragment you're appending: $("bo

Delete every other line in notepad++
I don't think there is a feature in Notepad++ that will automatically delete every other (or every nth) line, but if you wrote a short conversion program it would only take a few minutes. The pseudocode would look something like this: 1. Create a StreamReader and StreamWriter (make sure you are not trying to read from and write to the same file) 2. While (StreamReader is reading lines) increment i. You could mod it by whatever number n you wanted in order to delete certain lines. Then have a conditional clause that would write out if i%n == 0 or whatever you specify. 3. Close the program. That doesn't exactly answer your question, but I hope it helps.

Notepad++ range replace
You might be able to leverage regular expressions. The range limitation makes it more difficult, but with 2 different replaces, I think we can manage it. (The complication comes from the fact you don't want to replace values like 900.4.3.) Back up your file, just to be safe. Open the Replace dialog, and change Search Mode to "Regular expression". Enter birth_date="[678]dd.d+.d+" in "Find what:". Enter birth_date="451.1.1" in "Replace with:" Press Replace All. Change "Find what:" to birth_date="900.1.1". Press Replace All. Then check to make sure it did what you wanted. A differencing tool might be helpful there. (You can compare the modified file with the back up.) The two different regexes are necessary because of the range. The first one catches anything starting with 6, 7, or 8 plu

Notepad++ Regex for URL case to lower
This regular Expression should work to find the URL with capital letters: (http.*[A-Z].*.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}) Note that you do need to check the "Match case" option Under "Replace with" use L1 How it works: The parentheses mean you are going to store the result found with what is between them. In this case the whole thing is stored in 1 We then start by looking for http followed by anything (.*) until a capital letter [A-Z]. Then more anything until a period followed by 2-4 letters (.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}) If you have further questions, leave a comment.

Opposite regex for years notepad
This is the best I could come up with: Find: ^.*?(?<digits>d{2}-d{2}|d{2,4}).*?$ Replace with: 1 Here's an online test: http://regex101.com/r/nY6uE5 It replaces all rows OK, except the one that doesn't match (QASHQAI 2+) After applying this replace, you can get rid of the non-match rows, by replacing ^.*[^d-].*$ with an empty string. Update: OK now I understood the requirement that the digit pattern must be preceded by a space. The regex should be: ^.*?s(?<digits>(d{2}-d{2})|(d{2,4})).*?$ (http://regex101.com/r/dN2sH9)

Getting perldoc to work in notepad++ and NppExec
Perldoc is not a part of the Perl language. It is a program that is part of the core distribution. You'll likely find a perldoc.bat in your ActivePerl install if you look for it. So that's why: perldoc perldoc works from the command line (because that's how it is intended to be invoked. But fails miserably when you ask Perl to execute 'perldoc' command. It tries valiantly to find a method, defined somewhere in all of the modules that have been included, but finding none, tells you so. So if you want to write a Perl program to execute perldoc, you could use something like this: print `perldoc perldoc` But you're much better off using a bat file, or its equivalent in your version of windows.

Using Regex in Notepad++ to Replace a Character
There are two options. You could use capturing and write back what you matched (in addition to the quotes): ([a-zA-Z0-9]{16},)([a-zA-Z]+) Each set of parentheses generates a captured group. You can reference what they matched with $n in the replacement string: $1"$2. Note that there is no need to escape the comma. The alternative is lookarounds. What you match inside a lookaround is not part of the match, so it doesn't get removed. If you put everything around the desired position in lookarounds, you'll match a position instead of a string, and the replacement string will simply be inserted in that position: (?<=[a-zA-Z0-9]{16},)(?=[a-zA-Z]+) And replace that with ". In any case, make sure to upgrade to Notepad++ 6. Finally note that in both cases the + at the end is irreleva
