Leave the form action as "" to post to the same url rather than having a . So in this case <form action="" method="post"> {% csrf_token %} {{ form.as_p }} <input type="submit" value="Confirm/> </form>

Spring security *always* redirects to login form
Is it working if you connect to remote jetty directly using port 8080? If it is, the problem is probably related to nginx. When Spring Security auth succeeds, it should be able to set a cookie on browser via Set-Cookie header in the response. Maybe nginx has trouble with that. You could debug using the traffic with Chrome, press F12 and open Network tab. Go to login page and try to login. You should be able to see cookie JSESSIONID in the Cookies tab if it succeeds.

AJAX Form redirects, but supposed to update target?
Apparently my jqueryval bundle was not being rendered in my _Layout. I assumed since it was a default feature of MVC, it would have done so. Such is not the case. Be wary of which bundles are being rendered in your layout!

jQuery validate still redirects and opens form action path
Quote OP: "jQuery opens my form action instead of submitting the form without changing of page." Syntax errors will block the plugin from functioning and the default form action will happen on submit. Your code... }} submitHandler: function(form){ $(form).ajaxSubmit({ target: '#preview', success: function() { //$('form').find('input[type=text], select, input[type=file]').val(''); // } }); } You have at least two syntax errors inside your .validate() call. 1) Inside submitHandler, un-comment the closing brace, }, for the success callback function of ajaxSubmit(). See my comments... submitHandler: function(form){ $(form).ajaxSubmit({ target: '#preview', success: function() { //$('form').find('input[type=t

Spree - Admin - Custom Controller - Form Post - Redirects to login
I have been playing around it for some time. At first I thought the CSRF token was missing. But then it was in the header of the page. Then was the forms. Looking in to the forms, they lacked few hidden fields which sounded like security. They were like <input name="utf8" type="hidden" value="&#x2713;" /> <input name="_method" type="hidden" value="put" /> <input name="authenticity_token" type="hidden" value="[long code]" /> Understanding I am missing some thing and those some things normally we don't put by hand... I used the form helper method. = render :partial => 'spree/admin/shared/product_sub_menu' h1 Product Order = form_tag( "/admin/product_order/update", method: "post" ) do h3 Select the order of products :- table tr td Image td

Wicket dropdown menu without form - click option redirects to another page
You can add an AjaxFormComponentUpdatingBehavior to your dropdown to cause the selection to trigger an action, such as page redirection. DropDownChoice projectLinksDropDown = new DropDownChoice("projectLinks", new Model(selectedProjectLink), projectLinkOptionList); projectLinksDropDown.add(new AjaxFormComponentUpdatingBehavior("onChange") { @Override protected void onUpdate(AjaxRequestTarget target) { selectedProjectLink = (ProjectLink) getFormComponent().getConvertedInput(); setResponsePage(selectedProjectLink.getRedirectPage()); } } this.add(projectLinksDropDown); The cool thing with the AjaxFormComponentUpdatingBehavior that I am not taking advantage of in my example above is that you can do partial page refresh to hide/show/update panels without having to

search form that redirects to search results page, rails
You can do it like this: <%= form_tag "http://www.stackoverflow.com/questions", :method => 'get',:id => "products_search" do %> Put whatever you need in place of that URL. for more info please look at the form_tag helper documentation But if you need actually to be trough that path you were using, you have to use a redirect or a forwarding. For using a forwarding just call the name of the next action near the end of that action yuo are calling. Something like: def another_action ... end def product ... another_action end For using a redirect just do it like: def products redirect_to another_action end

ASP.NET redirects to cookieless URL and loops on form login even though cookieless is set to false
Possibly the user doesn't has access to the redirect URL and this is why it redirects everytime to login page and continues like that. Firstly check if the user is authorized to access the page in the redirect url.If the user isn't authorized, redirect to a page that the user can access Or update the access rights for the user. I don't want to use cookieless so the question is how this is triggered When using FormsAuthentication, Check your Settings for same in web.config. As seen below this has a property cookieless which can have options as AutoDetect, UseCookies, UseUri, and UseDeviceProfile. <authentication mode="Forms"> <!-- Detailed configuration options --> <forms name="MyForm" loginUrl="Login.aspx" timeout="30" cookieless="UseCookies" ... /> </auth

move value from one html form to another, so one form submits values from itself and another form
I'll recommend two things. Combine the forms into a single form (form tag doesn't really affect styling all that much unless you put dependent CSS on it, which you should be able to replace with a div in that case) Write your own submit handler (jQuery is nice for this). Basically just instead of using forms, use JS/jQuery to write a click handler for a button that pulls values from inputs and submits them. If you aren't sure how to do that, I could show you if you post all your code. EDIT: This is done with jQuery, so make sure you include the jQuery source file in your header. I'll be using inputs with ID tags id1, id2, id3 and a button with ID tag submit_button for the example. $(document).ready( function() { $("#submit_button").click( function() { var val1 = $("#id1

I have a short html form with a php for loop which allows the user to build the same form up to ten times on the page
If I understood your question correctly, you are trying to add more content or replace content on a webpage that has already been generated with PHP. I think what you are trying to do can be achieved using AJAX. AJAX is a technique for creating dynamic webpages. AJAX allows web pages to be updated asynchronously by exchanging small amounts of data with the server behind the scenes. This means that it is possible to update parts of a web page, without reloading the whole page. In your case, the process can be described in 3 steps: the browser making a new request to your server (using javascript) the server processes the request and sends some information back to the browser the browser deals with that information (again using javascript) and then updates part of the webpage There is

Saving data in html form when form validation error occures
You can check whether you have already values in the different fields of the form every time you generate the form, and set the value in the html input. You can do that as follow assuming you use POST: <input type="text" name="var" value="<?php echo (isset($_POST['var']) ? $_POST['var'] : ''); ?>"/> Here you check if $_POST['var'] has a value (isset($_POST['var'])). If so, you write its value ($_POST['var']), else, you write nothing ('') You can use this method to adapt it to any kind of input.

Difference between Javascript new FormData and HTML form with (form).serializeArray()?

With FormData not only can we upload Files and strings (which is already possible with HTML forms) but we can also upload Blobs which allow us to upload dynamically generated content and be able to specify the content-type: document.getElementById('dropzone').ondrop = function(e){ e.preventDefault(); uploadFiles(e.dataTransfer.files); }; function uploadFiles(files) { var nextId = 123; var xml = "<a id="a"><b id="b">hey!</b></a>"; var json = { title: "Hello World!", tags: ["pdf", "non-fiction", "literature"], token: "ABCeasyAs123" }; files.forEach(function(file, i) { var formData =

How to sent dynamic html table data from html form to php file
One way would be, you can loop all the tables and get the values of the first four table cells(TD) for each row in the table, assuming all the tables have same columns, and generate a json javascript object and send that object to your server via javascript. sample: var data = { 'department1': { 'eventname': 'xyz', 'emailid': 'x@xyz.com', 'registrationfee' : '300', 'studentname': 'me', 'contactno': '999999999' }, 'department2': { 'eventname': 'xyz2', 'emailid': 'y@xyz.com', 'registrationfee' : '500', 'studentname': 'me2', 'contactno': '9999988888' }, ..... }; and send the data via post ajax call using jquery or plain javascript. You can access the data on the server side. If you are using a php framework it might automatically decode the json a

How do I recall data (input into an html form) on another html page?
There are two ways. The first is to pass the parameters in the url you are redirecting the user. contact-form_submit.php?param1=value1&param2=value2... And in the page you redirect you use php and $_GET['param1'] , $_GET['param2'] to have your values. See that the page you redirect to is a php one and not an html one, because it has php code in it. The second one is to echo the entire page instead of redirecting. P.S By redirecting I'm referring to the header() function.

jqGrid Form edititing, HTML instead value in form field
Form editing should call internal restoreInline (see its code here) which calls restoreRow for the row before initializing of editing form. The function will be called (see the line) directly after beforeInitData. So if you need save the row instead of discarding of the data for example you can do this inside of beforeInitData callback. I suppose that you have some id duplicates in the grid. So the call of restoreRow don't restored the data. Another possible reason could be a bug in jqGrid, but you have to debug your code to see why restoreInline function will be not called in your case or why it don't restore the rows.

Retrieve Form Data From HTML Form with VBA
don't use regex. use an html parser. Since you said you're using vba, I'll make a guess that you have excel installed. excel has a "import data from web" function that works on any well formed html table. and if that doesn't work, most platforms that have vba also have a web browser control of some kind. load your target web page in an instance of said control, and access the table you want with the DOM's methods.

Filling out a form in perl using HTML::Form
The first argument for parse is HTML document itself but not the URL. The required arguments is the HTML document to parse ($html_document) and the URI used to retrieve the document ($base_uri). The base URI is needed to resolve relative action URIs. The provided HTML document should be a Unicode string (or US-ASCII). So you need to first get this document (with LWP::UserAgent) and parse response: my $response = $ua->get($url); if ($response->is_success) { my $form = HTML::Form->parse($response->decoded_content, $base_uri); ... } else { die $response->status_line; }

Submit form values with jquery works but unable to submit standard html form after success
It's normal : $("#foo").submit(); This line at the end of your request.done method is triggering the submit of the form, which is probably triggering the AJAX request , which is triggering the request.done ... and so on infinitely :-) What I would do (try) is remove that line, and also remove the event.preventDefault(); statement you've got at the bottom, so that your submit will simply run as usual after you did your AJAX request.

Using POST in an HTML form
Right clicking an opening in a new window will always follow the link (i.e. href="#" meaning "Go to the top of the page". The JavaScript won't run. No built in control of the browser will submit a form while giving the user the option to choose if it should be in the same or a new window. This isn't normally a useful choice anyway - opening in a new window is something usually done when the user intends to return to the current page to pick up where they left off, and a form is not something normally presented in the middle of another task. The closet you could come would be to add a second JavaScript triggered control that sets the target attribute of the form to _blank before triggering submission.

The fact is the url depends on the method you are using to send the form. This is set on the method attribute on the <form> tag. The URL of the action can be any valid URL so to add extra attributes like something=1 and other=2 you could set the following: <form action="xxx?something=1&other=2"> <input type="checkbox" id="checkbox" name="checked" value="1"> <input type="submit">Submit</input> </form> submitting the form will now send the GET request xxx?something=1&other=2&checked=1

More than one html form in a php file
Only one <form> block in a page can be submitted at a single time. <input> fields defined in one form will not be submitted when the other form is submitted. e.g. <form> <input type="text" name="foo" /> <input type="submit" /> </form> <form> <input type="text" name="bar" /> <input type="submit" /> </form> Clicking on submit will submit either a foo field, OR a bar field. Not both. If you want both fields to be submitted, then you have to either build them into a SINGLE form: <form> <input type="text" name="foo" /> <input type="text" name="bar" /> <input type="submit" /> </form> or use Javascript to copy the data from one form to another.
