Parse broken HTML Code using Nodejs & Cheerio
cheerio is built around htmlparser2, which is supposed to be "forgiving". If it doesn't parse your page, and I know this is against conventional wisdom, I would parse using regular expressions. This is assuming the page structure won't change much, and it's only that one page you are trying to parse. Also, I noticed a link at the top of your sample HTML, to individuals.php. Could the data you are after be there, in a different, more parseable format? Oh, and respect people's privacy, and sites usage terms, when scraping.

Get youtube video id from html code
you can use string.scan(/src="S+/(w+)"/)[0][0] but if you're doing a lot of html work i would recommend using a full-on HTML parser like Nokogiri or something perhaps more lightweight.

Broken user, broken Data.Binary or broken installation?
The Problem Let's review what you think you're doing and what you are doing. You think you are using binary to encode a list of Ints and write that bytestring into a file. Then, you read from the file and decode a list of Ints only to have it fail. What you are actually doing is encoding a list of Ints as a bytestring then encoding that bytestring as a bytestring (so, an extra length field is prepended to the bytes) and writing that bytestring to disk. Your decode then fails because you have on disk encode(encode(list)) instead of encode(list). The solution Just change the line reading: encodeFile worldfile $ encode world to encodeFile worldfile world Reading Hexdump 00000000 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 03 |....... ........| 00000010 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Displaying broken image in HTML
Image is a self closing tag: <img src="facebook.jpg" /> Double check that you spelled it correctly (and used correct capitalization, the file type is .jpg and not .png or .gif etc.). Another thing you could try to do is use the full url: <img src="http://www.example.com/facebook.jpg" /> And just some other comments... You are missing a semi-colon after margin-right:5px and you can condense margin-top and margin-right into shorthand margin:50px 5px 0 0; or margin:50px 5px; if you want the 50px margin on both top and bottom, and you want the 5px margin on both left and right.

Broken HTML tags when using .innerHTML
Your code should work. Example here : http://jsfiddle.net/hqKVe/2/ The issue is probably that the content of page[nChar] has HTML chars escaped. The easiest solution is to use the html() function of jQuery (if you use jQuery). There a good example given by Canavar here : How to decode HTML entities using jQuery? If you are not using jQuery, you have to unescape the string by yourself. In practice, just do the opposite of what is described here : Fastest method to escape HTML tags as HTML entities?

html email sent to facebook address has style broken
Not sure what quirks facebook has, but it is best practice to include inline styling and also using tables in html email. For your image to work, it probably needs to be hosted online, not embedded. Assuming facebook doesn't strip any code out, a simple table like this should fit the width: <table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#CCCCCC"> <tr> <td style="padding:20px; padding-bottom:0;"> <img style="margin: 0; border: 0; padding: 0; display: block;" src="http://lorempixel.com/400/200/sports/" width="400" height="200" alt=""> </td> </tr> <tr> <td style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: #000000; padding:20px;"> Content here. </td> <

xcode code completion broken within #if and #endif
Edit: Apple confirms this as a bug. Edit: The code completion just works a while, then stop working, really weird. Original answer: Finally I found out the real cause. It seems the marcro I defined for the lite version works for real compilation, however, while in the editor, the marcro does't work. So I checked the marcro definition in the building settings, and google for what's the right way to define marcros in xcode, and this link really helps. That is, I changed the marcro settings from the below: To: AND clean the derived data again, now it works! This maybe has something to do with the conversion from GCC settings to LLVM settings.

Clicking HTML 5 Video element to play, pause video, breaks play button
The problem appears to be internal bubbling within the <video> element ... so when you click on the "Play" button the code triggers and then the play button itself get triggered :( I couldn't find a simple (reliable) way to stop the click bubbling through (logic tells me there should be a way, but... it escapes me right now) Anyway, the solution I found to this was to put a transparent <div> over the video sized to fit down to where the controls appear... so if you click on the div then your script controls play/pause but if the user clicks on the controls themselves then the <video> element handles that for you. The sample below was sized for my video so you may need to juggle sizes of the relative <div>s but it should get you started <div id="vOverlay" styl

video set to "true" in Skype video chat URI, but video is not enabled when call starts
I see you've figured out that there seems to be a problem with video call in the newest versions of Skype for android and ios. Maybe the new apps treat video calls as a conference call even if it's a 1 to 1 call (which isn't supported as stated in the skype api/uri doc), I suggest you report this problem to MS through for example appstore (not sure if there's similar possibility to do so in google play?) and mention the same bug happens on android. If you need something to work ASAP while waiting for MS to fix the bug I'll suggest a solution but it might not be worth the time you'll need to spend in order for a working implementation. But I'll leave that up to you to consider. What you could do is send an message (or just do a regular call) to the remote sentry with an unique message ie

IE10 not playing a video when using the
When you paste the URL to your browser it doesn't use HTML5 player anymore, so it doesn't say that it is really a supported file; only that the file path should be valid. According to wikipedia, IE10 supports (not only) H.264 for video and AAC for audio - these are very common formats for mp4 container. Chrome's support is much wider (video- and audio-wise). The problem is that the Intro.mp4 file might have different formats altogether (the file could by just renamed or created using unsupported formats). I'd look into the file using properties->details or third party programs (for example Media Info). I don't think it is IE10's issue. The only similar one I've found is when the user was too specific using unsupported format of used codecs ([...] type='video/mp4; codecs="H.264, AAC"'

How to embed html video without using youtube
Tried this: <!DOCTYPE html> <head> <title>Testing</title> </head> <body> <video id="0" width="502" height="479" controls> <source src="loop.ogv" type="video/ogg"> <p>Video is not visible, most likely your browser does not support HTML5 video</p> </video> </body> </html> Worked well. Just replace the ogg with mp4, in your case. Edit: I'm not saying that you should use .ogv instead of .mp4. I just used it as example because I've tried with a .ogv file (just because I don't have a .mp4 file here right now). Your code should work if you copy mine and just replace the "loop.ogv" with your filename and the "video/ogg" with "video/mp4". Sorry if it was misleading.

An atom is a self-contained data unit that contains information about the video file. just open your mp4 file and check if there is "moov" string in the starting your mp4 file. For progressive download, the moov atom should be at the beginning of the file. If the moov atom is at the end of the file,it means progressive download is disabled for the mp4 file. just run the following linux command. head -c 50 video.mp4 output should look like this: ftypisomisomJ??moovlmvhd?%?:?%?:XP?

Chrome jerky video html
There really isn't anything you can do about this. Your description doesn't have enough specific information to determine the exact cause, but it is likely one of these: You don't have enough bandwidth to support streaming video (either on the client end, or server end) The codec being used for playback is different in Chrome vs other browsers. You're using Flowplayer, so it's possible that HTML 5 is used in Chrome and Flash is used in other browsers, leaving to all sorts of implementation differences, including codec choice. (One may utilize a hardware codec for example.)

Android HTML 5 video in PhoneGap
Is there any way to have android 2.x and 4.x devices play HTML 5 video using the video tag in my phonegap app? The <video></video> tag is fully supported in Android back to v2.3 and partially supported in v2.1/2.2. See here. My app is in orientation portrait only. In my app when I play a video on the iPhone my video pops into it's own little video player that is defaulted to full screen and allows me to rotate it to landscape. Is there any way to get this functionality on android using phonegap build? Or is the https://github.com/macdonst/VideoPlayer plugin still the recommended way to go? Plug-in's generally provide the best cross-device support and standardization but I would test with out and test with and see what functionality you like the best.

Playing html video from rtmp URL
If your SWF file is made by you, you can use the ExternalInterface AS3 class to provide bi-directional JavaScript communication. This will require modifications of your SWF file, however. If you cannot do this, you'll need to ask your SWF provider to tell you how to do so. If that's still out of the question, you could consider switching to a third-party player (jwplayer, flowplayer etc).
