How to downgrade Form(FMB) created/modified in Forms 10g to Oracle Forms 9
I don't have a copy of Forms developer 10g or 9i so this answer has not been tested. Have you tried converting the Forms created in Forms 10g into XML using the supplied Oracle tools? Once you have the XML incarnation of your Form you may be able to convert it back into an Oracle Form 9i .fmb file. However I am sure that even if this works, Oracle only support "forward", i.e. 9 to 10 upgrades so if yo start getting strange errors you will be on your own! Myself, I would do the changes from the begining in the lower version.

Two forms from one model both forms validate when one form is submittted
First, why are you doing this <?php $contactforms = $this->requestAction('Contactforms/contact') ?> in your element? I don't see the use of that requestAction except slowing down the processing... Ok, but your problem... Since you're calling an element, there's no easy way to avoid the validation of both forms. Usually, when there are two forms corresponding to the same model, the way to not validate both is to change the "name" of the form like this <!--in the first form--> <?php echo $this->Form->create('Contactform1'); ?> <!--in the second form--> <?php echo $this->Form->create('Contactform2'); ?> But, since you are creating that form with an element, there's no easy way of changing the name of the form in one place and not in the o

PHP - Generating several forms, but the forms only ever output the same thing for each form
you missed </form>. Try this. printf("<div class='NewsItem'><div class='title'>%s</div><form enctype='multipart/form-data' action='tutorial.php' method='post'><input type='hidden' name='tutorial' value='%s'/><input type='submit' name='submit' value='%s' id='hyperlink-style-button'/></form></div>", $row['Title'], $row['Title'], $row['Title']) I cannot see any other critical problems, try the following. I have removed enctype='multipart/form-data' also it is not valid to have more than 1 items with same id in a page so changed id="hyperlink-style-button" to class="hyperlink-style-button". you have to change the css accordingly. Also replaced single quotes to double quotes and added htmlspecialchars for values to not break html on quote

Processing two unassociated Rails models' forms in one controller action

MVC2 c# multiple forms in table. One form overwriting other form elements on postback
When model binding to a list you need to append a unique identifier to each row, in order to keep the generated id's unique. Here is an example using a for loop rather than a foreach (its written in old school asp views, not razor) <%@ Page Inherits="ViewPage<IList<Book>>" %> <% for (int i = 0; i < 3; i++) { %> <%: Html.TextBoxFor(m => m[i].Title) %> <%: Html.TextBoxFor(m => m[i].Author) %> <%: Html.TextBoxFor(m => m[i].DatePublished) %> <% } %> This will generate textboxes with unique id's allowing you to post back multiple items in a single form. You're obviously trying to make multiple forms, which could still work, just give each form a unique id. Take a look at phil haacks classic article o

Winforms Form Inheritance - inherited forms not updating when base form is changed
This will happen when you have the derived form opened in the designer. Which remembers the size is had. If you then modify the base form and rebuild then the designer will notice the derived form is no longer the same size as the base form and will record the size. You'll now have a permanent mismatch. You avoid it by making sure the derived form isn't opened when you edit the base form. And that the base form is recompiled before you open the derived form. But, accidents are definitely going to happen, best to not rely on it. And in the greater scheme, the size should be left up the user anyway. You can fix it by right-clicking the derived form's Size property in the Properties window and clicking Reset.

Trying to do self processing form, getting error
Either escape those quotes (") or use single-quotes (') or, probably the best way, rewrite your code, for example something like this: <?php if (!isset($_POST['username']) && !isset($_POST['password'])) : ?> <form action="<?php echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']; ?>" method="POST"> Username: <input type="text" name="username"> Email: <input type="text" name="email"> Password: <input type="password" name="password"></br> <input type="submit" value="Register"> </form> ... <?php endif; ?> And whatever you do - this line is wrong since you have a PHP tag within a PHP block: echo "<form action="<?php $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] ?>" method="POST">";

Form processing with inheritance
At first you should think about separating the animal type selection from the rest of the form as you'll need to discard some of the entries if the user decides to change the type after inputing some data. This can be archieved by ajaxifying this part of the form and using the onChange event to clean the data and switch the models. When you do so, you might want to think about switching from inheritance to composition to avoid copying data around. I don't know if this is still compatible with your persistance strategy but you could allways copy the finished data to your persistance layer. For example when your CatModel doesn't inherit from AnimalModel but instead contains an AnimalModel like this: public class CatModel { private final AnimalModel parent; private String meowingS

PHP Form not processing on submit
You can achieve that result by leaving action empty. I cleaned up the code a bit, and it now looks like this: <?php if (isset($_POST['submitLocation'])) { echo isset($_POST['find']) ? htmlentities($_POST['find']) : ''; } ?> <html> <body> <form action="" method="post"> <p><label for='find'>Search for Your Favorite Location:</label><br/> <input type='text' id='find' name='find' value='' /></p> <input type='submit' name='submitLocation' value='Submit' /> </form> </body> </html> It checks if the form is submitted or not with PHP's isset() function. If it was: then it simply echoes the string the user inputted.

Kony Forms - produced in what form?
So there is a little misunderstanding here: When the output is Hybrid, the forms are converted to a SPA ( Single Page Application, a feature of HTML5 ), and embedded with the application itself. The Hybrid shell is a native application, and there are javascript bindings between the content on the form ( which is in HTML5 ) and the shell ( which is pure native ) The SPA portion of the application only needs to be connected to the network when Service calls are being made. So to answer your question, you can have an "offline" ( non-network connected ) application, as long as you are not going back to the server for data. For data calls, you will need to be connected.

ASP.NET Forms Authentication between Applications with different form credentials
Your options are pretty much: Write your own ASP.Net 2.0 MembershipProvider to use the PBKDF2 algorithm to store passwords (Resetting everyone's passwords will be required). You don't get to override SimpleMembershipProviders storage of passwords (that I know of) so you'll have to writing your own ExtendedMembershipProvider to duplicate the ASP.Net 2.0 security mechanisms in the default MembershipProvider. As a side note, MD5 is (in my opinion) a terrible algorithm to store passwords. At this point from what I've read bcrypt or PBKDF2 is recommended by most security experts. If you're interested on the changes Microsoft made to increase security in .Net releases the article Stronger Password Hashing in .NET with Microsoft’s Universal Providers is a good read.

Passing data between forms on form closing
Probably a lot of ways, but the quickest way I can think of is just expose the txtSku.Text as a public property and let the other window just set it itself: 'Define in your main form Public Property SkuText() As String Get Return txtSku.Text End Get Set(ByVal value As String) txtSku.Text = value End Set End Property Then just set the text from your other window: Private Sub dgvAllSku_CellContentDoubleClick(sender As Object, e As DataGridViewCellEventArgs) Handles dgvAllSku.CellContentDoubleClick frmMain.SkuText = dgvAllSku.Rows.Item(e.RowIndex).Cells(0).Value Me.Close() End Sub You could also raise an event that the other form subscribes to, or if you don't have any reason to still be able to use both forms at once, just use ShowDialog and execution in the main form

How to add Constraints between Form fields of HTML forms?
Why a plugin? This is fairly easy with just jQuery: $('input.A:checkbox').change(function() { $('button.B').prop('disabled', !($(this).prop('checked')); }); $('select.C').change(function() { $('button.D').prop('disabled', !($(this).find('option:selected').length >= 10)); }); We're just assigning handlers to the events that happen when the inputs are changed - and I enable or disable the field depending on my condition. I think it's better than getting a plugin because: You're saving on HTTP requests for more files You're saving performance by not loading more JS code This is fairly simple as-is and there's no point to overcomplicate it. How to create an options form in C# Windows Forms?
For me, the common design of that is, a classical treeview on the left side and a "content zone" on the right side. When the user pick something in the treeview you load the related view in the content zone. After there's a lot of different way to implement the stuff, for example automaticaly generate the treeview based on a list of object which contain the type of view to be instanciated and create a generic instantiator called when an item is picked to create the related view, anyway, the background is still the same. To resume, a treeview and just create the view in the content zone based on the selected item. (I've seen several screen like that in my work and most of the time it was like that)

1) Set the global variables $title and $surname with global scope: //Get User data: $global $title = ... $global $surname = ... Otherwise set all these variables (including $user) inside the function form_user_information which is the best practice. I would also suggest not use $title as variable name because it may cause problems with already defined $title of the $page variable. Instead use something like $user_title. 2) Which line does this come from?

C#: Close and Open two forms from a separate form
The line LoggedIn loggedinform = new LoggedIn() is going to create a new instance of that login window. That might be useful if, say, you intended to show 5 "Login" windows onscreen all at once. I think what you want to do is retrieve a reference to the login window that is already showing, and hide that; so, avoid creating a new one. Properly passing references to existing objects around the program is kind of a structural problem, and one that I ran into quite a bit in my early programming days. The quick, unclean, and generally not-recommended way is to declare instances of those singular objects (like, maybe, your login window) as static, so they can be retrieved anywhere. However, to fully answer your question in the best way, maybe you could describe the structure of your program a

That's because $(".table", this) matches both slides. You can solve this by giving each slide and id, like id="slide1" Then do $("#slide1") (or slide2) depending on which was submitted. You basically need the bind the form to the slide, since each slide has it's own form. Similarly you might need to do a similar thing for $(".addNewCustomerForm"). Give each form a unique id and bind one submit handler to #slide1, and the other to #slide2
