How to open android phone internal memory mmcblk0 in read mode using open()
This is a filesystem special block device. You can read it from inside the system (on the device, in a shell). You can use the Linux command: cat /dev/block/mmcblk0 | gzip > /emmc/copy to copy entire filesystem, compress it with gzip and put in mounted /emmc folder to a file with name "copy". You can choose the folder and filename for the compressed image. And be aware that on 700MHz devices it can take very long (few hours) to read and compress entire filesystem.

Having force close error with open new intent for Google Map
The problem seems to be that you are comparing floats with == sign. The correct way to test floats for 'equality' is: if( (Math.abs(lat-1.3005060) < epsilon) && (Math.abs(lng-103.8745850) < epsilon) ){ } where epsilon is a very small number like 0.00000001, depending on the desired precision. See What's wrong with using == to compare floats in Java? and Manipulating and comparing floating points in java question for more.

Wordpress force 'view post' to open in a new tab after publish
Links in iframe's work different, by default they will open in the iframe. You need to set the anchor's targets. This will open it in the parent window: target=_parent This will open it in a new window/tab: target=_blank This will be some custom editing in your theme files. So if you're good with PHP and HTML, you wont have an issue!

You shouldn't click the <li> element, but the <a> element instead. The linkTo helper in handlebars generate an <a> tag in the DOM. Something like click(".things li:contains('Example Thing') a ") should works.

Could not find class 'com.google.android.gms.internal.bn$b'
I really need more information to be able to help - e.g more of the trace where it gives details of the NullPointerException and more of your code. However based on the information you have provided, it looks like you may not have defined BaseGameUtils as a LIBRARY project AND/OR you may not have not included it as a REFERENCE project in your library. The reason why I am thinking this is: it looks as though you are crashing as soon as you try to execute your first call to Google Play Game Services code i.e it looks as though ALL the Google code is missing from your package. A good approach that many people have used is to get the Google Sample Project working first. Details here: https://github.com/playgameservices/android-samples/blob/master/README.md and this may also help: Google

How to Force HTTPS Google Maps Android API V1 & V2
I would like to find some kind of reference that either confirms the ability or states that it can not be done. It is impossible to prove a negative. However: You cannot modify the source code to Maps V1 or Maps V2, because we do not have that source code There is no API to control anything regarding the networking aspects of Maps V1 or Maps V2, as you can tell by reading the documentation for those APIs For Maps V2 at least, the actual networking is done by another app (Play Services Framework) in another process, AFAICT, and you have no way of modifying the behavior of that app If Google is not using HTTPS today for Maps V1/V2 map tiles, it is well within reason that Google never uses HTTPS for Maps V1/V2 map tiles (you could attempt to modify some firewall settings on your local

How to open Google Chrome from an Android Application?

Blank view in android with open gl(AsyncTask)
You have a couple of places in your decodeSampledBitmap() method where exceptions are caught but you don't log them or print the stack trace of the exception. I would do something like e.printStackTrace() in those blocks just to help debug and make sure an exception isn't being thrown. Also, it's a good idea to decode the bitmap off of the UI thread (you don't want to risk an ANR while decoding), but I'm not sure it will speed up the time it takes to decode and display your images.

Open Another App with android.intent.action.VIEW
You can launch an app using intents. But to go to a specific page in the app, there should be a pre defined intent to reach there. Either it can be custom intent defined by that app and exposed to others or may be predefined system app. For example, you can open Settings application and reach a particular page in it based on the intents "Setting Application" has defined. Another example is "Camera Application". You can launch it and reach some page in it but not all pages. In your case you may try something like this though: Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW); intent.setDataAndType(uri, "video/mp4"); I hope you understand what I meant.

I want to call Google Plus callback function when clicking on the Google Plus button
From the docs, it looks like the signin button, when used this way, will always attempt an immediate validation. Since you're already signed in to google and have authorized the app, google automatically signs you in and sends you to your dashboard. I'd suggest not using that sample code. You could, instead, use other parts of the Google Javascript API (https://developers.google.com/+/web/api/javascript) Make a Google sign in button that's a normal button. When that's clicked, call gapi.auth.authorize() to log the user in. Then nothing happens until they click the button, and when they do, it either asks for approval/login or just signs the user in automatically.

Open android native google maps app obtaining directions starting from current position
You can explicitly to it to open in direction mode with an f=d parameter. With that set and no start address, it should use the device's current location. So more like this: "https://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&daddr=berlin" Note: This doesn't work in a browser; it opens the directions page with a blank field for start. Used in an intent sent to the native maps application, it works correctly(at least on my 4.2.2 gNex).

Does google map android api v2 support street view overlays?
No, this is not supported. StreetView is a separate application that you can launch with an intent but no overlay. google.streetview:cbll=lat,lng&cbp=1,yaw,,pitch,zoom&mz=mapZoom Opens the Street View application to the given location. The URI scheme is based on the syntax used for Street View panorama information in Google Maps URLs. The cbll field is required. The cbp and mz fields are optional. CSS to open text box when clicking on image
Like mentioned by @JofryHS, css doesn't really respond to clicks. Using inline js click handlers isn't great as it'll leave you having to repeat yourself a lot, but from the sounds of things you're fighting against not having enough access to Sharepoint (sigh, corporate networks). This uses an inline click handler to show the answer: <div class="question" id="q1"> What colour is the sky? <button class="answerButton" onClick="document.getElementById('q1Answer').style.display='block'">Answer</button> <div class="answer" id="q1Answer"> Overcast and grey, because I live in the UK. </div> </div> <div class="question" id="q2"> Why does it always rain on me? <button class="answerButton" onClick="document.getElemen

Keep textarea open despite 140 limit when clicking a specific div below it jQuery
I may have found a solution to your problem. It's not the cleanest solution but it works. I had to use mouse position to track where the click came from bc the focusout event fires before the click and there was no way to tell where the click came from other than mouse location. The part that isn't so 'clean' is the if statement i had to use to check if the click was within the confines of the toolbar. Maybe you can figure out a better way of checking that. JS: var mousePos; var hasFocus = false;//This is used to prevent the window.click from firing after a focus event jQuery(document).ready(function(){ $(document).mousemove(function(e){ mousePos = e; }); }); $(".comment-box").keydown(function () { var parent = $(this).parent(); var text_max = 140; var length_reached = $(thi

How did a Captive Portal force to open a browser
If you will try to see the network statistics [request/response] you will find out that devices like ios and android both of them continuously hits some particular urls [in case of android it is www.google.com/generate_204 , don't remember exact url for ios]. These url are generated by system internally. These pings let their server know about various details. So as soon as ios gets connected with a captive portal it tries to hit the system generated url, failing to which it understands that this is packet level protected network and open the browser. Hope this helps.

perl regex: howto get open-reading-frames without internal stop-codons?
The pattern as you have written it will greedily search for codons until it reaches the final stop codon in the string. Try rewriting your pattern like this: m/ATG(?:[ATGC]{3}){8,}?(?:TAA|TAG|TGA)/ig Adding ? to (?:[ATGC]{3}){8,}? tells the regex engine to match as many codons as possible up until the first stop codon, instead of the last. I would also omit the ^ from your patter, with the assumption that the start codon is not going to be the first codon in your sequence. As for ensuring that the returned string contains no stop codon, wrap the result in a second regex test that checks for a stop codon. As far as I can see, there is no way to do a variable-length negative look-behind test for this in a single regex pattern.

Can I force Facebook fb_edge_widget_with_comment to open facing left instead of right?
Actually you can't apply any additional styles to iframes from another domains (like Facebook in your case). But you can try to add some CSS code to restyle width of this iframe by default: iframe { width: 310px; } Please try to apply it, I think this should fix this problem. I guess that Facebook' plugin content automatically will adapt its width to the width of iframe.
