uploading video to Facebook error 5
I guess its something to do with stream publishing permission. Try this way. It worked for me. I was using Facebook SDK 3.8.0 [self performPublishAction:^{ NSString *filePath = [[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"faisal" ofType:@"mov"]; NSURL *pathURL = [[NSURL alloc]initFileURLWithPath:filePath isDirectory:NO]; NSData *videoData = [NSData dataWithContentsOfFile:filePath]; NSDictionary *videoObject = @{ @"title": @"This is my title", @"description": @"This is my description", [pathURL absoluteString]: videoData }; FBRequest *uploadRequest = [FBRequest requestWithGraphPath:@"me/videos"

uploading video to facebook error 2
So I changed things around a bit. I am using code from HelloFacebookSample app to make sure I am logged in and I no longer get the error 2. The debugger shows that the video starts to upload as it shows the NSLog for VideoData. However after a while the data Stream starts to show 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 and then maybe some with something like 6d766578 00000020 for a while then back to zeros again with increasing frequency. Then finally it errors out with 2013-06-27 22:50:14.407 my little world app[8145:907] Error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.facebook.sdk error 5.) not sure what this means but will post another question.

Uploading video to facebook from iOS -- unable to request log in permission from user, error code 6
All of your code after NSURL *videourl should be moved to another method. Currently it is being executed while the requestAccessToAccountsWithType: request is in progress so the facebookAccount reference isn't available yet. So, the new method that you create and move that code to should be called from the completion block if granted is true. Note hat you can't just immediately request publish permissions. You must request read permissions first and then, once it's been granted, request publish permissions.

Upload video to facebook using graph api
is it correct to use this: $img = $_FILES['source']['name']; No, as http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.post-method.php tells you, this is “The original name of the file on the client machine.” – which is of course not what you want. You want to use the name of the file that gets stored temporarily on your server after it has been uploaded to your server by the client: $_FILES['userfile']['tmp_name'] The temporary filename of the file in which the uploaded file was stored on the server. If this does not work (f.e. the temporary directory for file uploads might not be accessible to cURL [which the PHP SDK uses internally] directly), the you will have to use move_uploaded_file first to store the file in another location on your server.

Video share on facebook wall using Graph API
<meta property="og:video" content="http://staging.derbywire.com/video/player" /> <meta property="og:video:type" content="application/x-shockwave-flash" /> You have to give the URL of the actual SWF file that plays the video here – the address you have given (http://staging.derbywire.com/video/player) however delivers a full HTML document. Facebook is not so silly to just embed full HTML documents into their page. So change that property to the address of a stand-alone SWF file that will play the actual video.

Facebook Graph API & django-facebook - posting links and photos to page feeds

Using graph api to bulk upload to facebook company page (not a user page)
Your link doesn't appear to go anywhere useful, I'm afraid. Nonetheless, I'm guessing your problem here is that you need to use a Page access token not a user access token to publish to a page rather than a user feed. See the section on Page Access Tokens at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/page/

List Facebook Page events on website for a Venue using FQL or Graph API
I figured it out. This question helped, but was not correct and there is a syntax error in an answer: Get Facebook events from public fan page From what I found, you need to become an FB developer, create an app, get an ID and secret. Use the SDK (PHP in my case), and this question had a good example of returning the list I want: Link from ticket_uri is opening a blank page I am having the same issue though of getting blank pages on the ticket link if the user is not logged into FB. But my original issue is solved.

In Facebook graph API how to find which all of your friends like a particular page with detail info?
Simple, just add another IN to the query SELECT uid, pic, name, username FROM user WHERE uid in (SELECT uid FROM page_fan WHERE page_id = 114719705207104 AND uid IN (SELECT uid2 FROM friend WHERE uid1=me())) The UID is the user id you want. The URL for the user is equal to www.facebook.com/UID or www.facebook.com/USERNAME Since not every user has a username I advise you to use the first option with the UID. You have many ways of retrieving the user pic, with the uid you can use the graph api to fetch the pic in various sizes, doing this https://graph.facebook.com/UID/picture or https://graph.facebook.com/USERNAME/picture Then adding some get parameters you can configure the size of the pic. You can read more about that here If you want to keep using FQL for selecting the pic, you h

Add Open Graph Meta Tag After Page is Loaded, for Facebook Share button
I don't think this is possible, since JS code does not get executed. See How does Facebook Sharer select Images? Can I update these meta tags with client side code like Javascript or jQuery? No. Much like search engine crawlers, the Facebook scraper does not execute scripts so whatever meta tags are present when the page is downloaded are the meta tags that are used for image selection.

Do you have HTTPS URLs for your video files in the OG meta tags as well? You will need HTTPS sources as well, since most Facebook users surf over HTTPS already (and Facebook is in the process of getting the rest of them there).

Uploading photos to Facebook: Adding parameters before executing the newUploadPhotoRequest call gives the 'OAuthException' error
When you create an newUploadPhotoRequest, that method will implicitly add some parameters to the Request object that's returned. When you call setParameter, you're replacing those implicit parameters with your own, which causes the request to be missing some required params. What you should do instead is: Request request = Request.newUploadPhotoRequest(Session.getActiveSession(), BitmapFactory.decodeResource(_context.getResources(), R.drawable.default_image), uploadPhotoRequestCallback); Bundle parameters = request.getParameters(); // <-- THIS IS IMPORTANT parameters.putString(...); // add more params here request.setParameters(parameters); request.executeAsync();

Facebook open graph GraphMethodException error code 100
Error 100 means that there is a plain syntax error in the URL you are posting to. I suspect you have a custom graph url set which doesn't match your action - see http://developers.facebook.com/docs/opengraph/creating-action-types : Graph API URL This customizes the exact endpoint used when publishing actions, which by default for custom action types is /me/{app-namespace}:{action-type-name}.

Youtube video not embedding into Facebook - Error linting URL
Here is the solution: unblock YouTube. Detailed instructions: on the upper right corner of your Facebook page, click on the gear icon and select "Account Settings." Go to the left hand side of the page and click on "Blocking." Scroll down to the section titled "Block Apps" where you will see a list of the apps you have blocked. Find "YouTube" and click on the word "Unblock" next to it. That's it, you're done. You will now be able to post YouTube links with thumbnails. No need to log out or do anything else. I had exactly the same problem as reported here. The solution came to me just now when I realized I had swept through my Facebook settings a couple of weeks ago and pretty much locked everything down for privacy and denied apps the ability to do whatever it was a pop-up app approval

Facebook API: Error "(#210) Subject must be a page" when posting a Status Update on a Page
I found the solution: In the field next to POST I only did enter the Page-ID (like 123456789012345) but you must add "/feed" to the end, like this: 123456789012345/feed The documentation does not say how to post a status message. To me it was clear, If want to post something on a page, I have to enter the pages ID, not more. And if the error-message would have said "Subject must be a FEED" everything would have been clear. But is said "must be a PAGE" but it already was a page.

Simple, just get the ID of the video from YouTube and the sequence number of the image you want and plug them into [VIDEOID] AND [SEQNUM] respectively in the following URL: http://img.youtube.com/vi/[VIDEOID]/[SEQNUM].jpg So for example for this URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOwZZyGJ9aQ the thumbnails can be acquired by going to: http://img.youtube.com/vi/dOwZZyGJ9aQ/0.jpg http://img.youtube.com/vi/dOwZZyGJ9aQ/1.jpg http://img.youtube.com/vi/dOwZZyGJ9aQ/2.jpg http://img.youtube.com/vi/dOwZZyGJ9aQ/3.jpg and so on..
