Error in installing WTP plugin to ADT eclipse
I had the same error message trying to install the wtp plugin via
"Help"->"Install new Software..." in Eclipse Juno.
I found my solution in this post:
It stated that I had to make sure the Eclipse Galileo update site
(http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo/) was available. After I
added the update site the installation worked fine. It looks like the
Galileo update site includes the package that Eclipse is looking for to
resolve the dependencies.
I hope this helps.

As far as I can tell from here, RAD 7.5.5 is based on an old version of
Eclipse. m2e is unlikely to work, but its predecessor m2eclipse might.
Hopefully you will be able to find it as explained here.
However m2e evolved a lot in the last few years and I'd suggest that you
switch to a more recent version of Eclipse, if you can. The latest versions
actually have m2e directly integrated.

Trouble Installing/Using Grails Release Plugin 2.2.1
Don't use install-plugin, it's deprecated and removed entirely in 2.3.
You were correct to use BuildConfig.groovy - after saving the change you
just need to run grails compile or some other commandline script that
triggers dependency resolution. This will install any missing plugins and
their dependencies, and report any errors.
Note that since you ran install-plugin you probably have cruft in
application.properties - be sure to delete any lines in there that refer to
installed plugins. For a plugin you can delete everything except for
Your BuildConfig.groovy looks a bit weird, more of an application type of
file than a plugin. You don't need grails.servlet.version,

installing a local dojo plugin on grails 2.2.3
With current Grails version 2.2.3 you are using, install-plugin has been

to define it inline using grails.plugin.location here. Take a look at

To get rid of the old plugins you have to clear the Installation History.

Unique and reproducible identifier for Java Object (Eclipe EMF's resources and model elments)
Well, I kind of found a solution.
I use different ID's for EObjects and for Resources:
For EObjects, I get their fragment URI (their path inside the containing
resource), make it a String, and use that as the seed to the MD5 hash. It
turns out that the result of fragmentURI().toString() looks amazingly
similar to what EMF generates as the UUID. :-)
For Resources, I get the file's contents (model files are generally XMI/XML
files) and calculate the MD5 hash on those.
The solution is a little heavy, specially the resource piece, but I make it
up by minimizing the calls to the ID's generation algorithm, so it is ok
for me. What it is is unique and reproducible across machines, which is
what I needed.
Hope this helps someone in the future.

error in installing DotNetNuke
I have resolved this issue. Here's what I found.
I was attempting to connect to a SQL Server instance where case-sensitivity
is enforced. The script files provided with DNN 7.00.06 have a number of
inconsistencies in regards to case. An example is the parameter @ParentId,
which is declared @ParentID. I was not permitted to alter the settings on
the remote SQL Server so I ended up installing a local SQL Express (with
case-sensitivity off) as a work-around.
I hope my experience helps if anyone else comes across this issue.
Error Installing Atomic
The error messages don't give the slightest clue as to what the real
problem is. Bundler or a component it calls does not properly handle
directory names with spaces in them. In my case it was .../Data RAID/...
that caused the problem. Once I moved the project to a different drive
where there would be no spaces in the path, everything worked fine. It
appears it may be only the location of the gems that are the issue. In an
earlier attempt, I created a project where the gems weren't located in a
path containing spaces, but the project was. It didn't have any problems as
far as I went with it. Notice also that the gem install atomic was
