error : Mylyn GitHub connector not installing on eclipse juno
That happens if your eclipse version is too old, as detailled in bug 365425 Make sure your Eclipse is at least 3.7 or more recent. The latest EGit 3.0.x would require an Eclipse Kepler 4.3.

Setup JIRA Mylyn connector for Eclipse
You are trying to install an incompatible version of Mylyn into an old version of STS/Eclipse. It looks like you have the Juno update site (or the mylyn update site for Juno) in your list of update sites. You need to remove this and ensure that the Indigo update site is available.

Context tab not visible in Eclipse Mylyn for Local Repository
I used File->Import->Install->From Existing Installation when upgrading to Juno. I wasn't careful in selecting plugins to include and overwrote a newer Mylyn with an older copy. Re-install from scratch and it works.

Haskell lazy open and close files
There are libraries that give you a pure value that represents a full directory tree, and will only read those directories and file that are actually used. By virtue of lazy evaluation, the second time you access such a file it will already by in memory. Check out directory-tree, especially the readDirectoryWithL function.

When I use Mylyn with PyDev I see the context in the task but python files are not shown in any explorer
The problem seems to be the "PyDev Navigator Content". Ho to solve this make sure the Mylyn focus is disabled for the explorer view in the View Menu -> Customise View on the "Content" tab disable "PyDev Navigator Content" ==> now the python files are shown correctly when the Mylyn context is enabled Note: This works in both: the "PyDev Package Explorer" and in the "Project Explorer" You may add *.pyc to Preferences->Mylyn->Context->Resources -- this will prevent the pyc files to appear in your context when they are compiled automatically...

Is there a way to open *.pbxproj files with eclipse?
After many searches on the internet I reached this URI: Migrating from XCode to eclipse. There you can read this: Migrating with a script is pretty easy and it is not a complex script, it just copies files and puts Java classes into the package structure. The script does not do everything, it just takes the drudgery out of it. You will want to convert all the frameworks before the applications as the applications will need the frameworks to build. The first step is to create a new Eclipse project, a Wonder Application or a Wonder Framework, and give it the same name as the Xcode project. This does NOT mean you will be using Project Wonder, it just refers to a project layout developed for Wonder. cd into your Xcode project, Run ./fleeto /path/to/eclipse/project, Refresh the

Having force close error with open new intent for Google Map
The problem seems to be that you are comparing floats with == sign. The correct way to test floats for 'equality' is: if( (Math.abs(lat-1.3005060) < epsilon) && (Math.abs(lng-103.8745850) < epsilon) ){ } where epsilon is a very small number like 0.00000001, depending on the desired precision. See What's wrong with using == to compare floats in Java? and Manipulating and comparing floating points in java question for more.

Cannot open Eclipse after opening once? (Error included)
That's a very weird behavior. The The Eclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library error popup does indeed happen when you don't expand the archive according to Windows' bizarre requirements, and it seems you've documented yourself well enough before posting this. I would advise: erasing the eclipse folder copying the downloaded archive to a "safe" folder like "My Documents" right-clicking the archive there, and "extract here" moving the extracted folder back to its location (32-bit or 64-bit Program Files) trying to launch again

Find Missing files and sub directories with it's files list while copy and paste?
Can i make one simple exe tool for this. Of course. How to i find that missing files can any one give some guide to do. You need two lists. You'll need to read and fill one, and then read and compare to determine what's missing. The code might look something like this: var targetFiles = new List<string>(); foreach (var f in Directory.GetFiles(targetDir)) { targetFiles.Add(Path.GetFileName(f)); } var missingFiles = new List<string>(); foreach (var f in Directory.GetFiles(sourceDir)) { if (targetFiles.Contains(Path.GetFileName(f))) { continue; } missingFiles.Add(Path.GetFileName(f)); } Now all of the missing files in the target are in the missingFiles list. You can then loop through that list to copy those missing files to the target.

Is there a 'set paste' option in Emacs to paste paste from external clipboard?
I don't know of such a "paste mode" for Emacs. You could start with something like the following (new version, using a separate buffer, so that the current buffer's *-change-functions only get called once at the end): (defvar ttypaste-mode nil) (add-to-list 'minor-mode-alist '(ttypaste-mode " Paste")) (defun ttypaste-mode () (interactive) (let ((buf (current-buffer)) (ttypaste-mode t)) (with-temp-buffer (let ((stay t) (text (current-buffer))) (redisplay) (while stay (let ((char (let ((inhibit-redisplay t)) (read-event nil t 0.1)))) (unless char (with-current-buffer buf (insert-buffer-substring text)) (erase-buffer) (redisplay) (setq char (read-event nil t)))

When Starting up Eclipse C/C++ it doesn't open but gives a error. Java was started but returned exit code=13
If you are trying to start Eclipse, but are continually getting a "JVM terminated. Exit code=13" error" then you need to fix the error. First, realize that this error is caused when you are attempting to start Eclipse using the wrong version of the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). So you need to realize what JVM you are starting with. If you are using Linux, you can type "which java" on the command line. Otherwise, you can type "java -version". This will give you the Java version. Now, you need to research the correct JVM for the version of Eclipse that you are using. For example, if you are using Eclipse Europa, it may require the 1.5 JVM to start. When you initially get the error message, you may see something that says "requiredJavaVersion=1.5", which will tell you what version of the JVM

Android: Too many open files error
I think you get this error because you have too many files open at the same times, meaning that you have too many async tasks running in the same time (each async task opens a file), which makes sense if you say that you run a new one every 3 seconds. You should try to limit the number of async task running in the same time using a thread pool executor.

LevelDB: IO error: XXX.sst: Too many open files
Until recently there could be some pathological behavior when max_option_files was set to < 74, where hundreds of file descriptors were used instead of what the option said. (The latest version of leveldb clamps gives the limit a floor of 74.) Does setting it to ~80 have any effect? If not, and you still get the problem, could you run the appropriate incantation of lsof when you see the bad behavior? That will tell us where the file descriptors are going.

Talend Open Studio and Eclipse - Link source from eclipse to talend open studio and export job as test
I'm a beginner with Talend Open Studio (TOS) and I'm using TOS for Data Integration (TOS-DI). TOS-DI is based upon Eclipse Framework but it is a standalone "product" (in Eclipse sense) so, it has its proper rules for third party code integration. For example, you can use your Java code as a Talend "routine" or in one of Talend tJavaXX components. But this is copy/paste, not classpath integration. Another way could be to integrate in YOUR Eclipse environment, the Talend code. This is open source and you can get the code there : http://www.talendforge.org/trac/tos/browser/trunk But if you need the complete TOS execution environment, this will not easily be useful for you... Last chance (but I've not tested) is to try to change the classpath of TOS-DI, using the "Debugger" perspective, i

A referrer or an URL to a page has nothing to do with security. If you don't want the user to access a certain page when not logged in, then check whether the user is logged in when that page is requested. If it's only about the popup part: to my knowledge you can't detect whether a page is displayed in a popup or a 'regular' browser window.

You have a loop in which you open a new socket on each iteration. You never seem to close any of the sockets. They may get closed when the out-of-scope objects are GC'ed, but you are creating these sockets at a very high rate and exhausting the available file handles. Close each socket when you are done with it.

Execute a command and close the connection or open once and execute all the commands and close after?
Generally speaking, with a few very specific exceptions, you connect to the DB ONCE at the start of your script, then reuse that connection throughout the script. While MySQL's connection protocol is fairly fast, you're still wasting a considerable amount of CPU cycles by setting up and tearing down the DB connections. This will be specially true if you're connecting via TCP sockets, forcing an entire new TCP connection to be built for every request.

Eclipse stopped recognizing my Kinesis keyboard shortcut buttons(copy, paste, etc)?
There are two ways to solve it: switch workspace, or "Restore Defaults" in the Preferences -> Keys menu You can also switched workspace , that's what i did first, and everything worked fine again( i guess bec. I didn't fiddle with keys & shortcuts). File->Switch Workspace Apparently, based on this SO link - really weird eclipse keyboard behavior/bug? - it may be a configuration issue that is workspace-dependent(maybe a custom keyboard shortcut I added-on ??!?). I'm still curious about a way to narrow down why, but it looks like a clash of the key-bindings. Here's another link, Switching workspaces

"GLib-ERROR **: Cannot create pipe main loop wake-up: Too many open files" on Qt
Too many open files Is pretty obvious. Probalby you have a leak with file descriptors, so you should check if your code opens lots of files/filedescriptors but doesn't close them properly. If you fork a process, you should also consider to close them, before you start the actual process, as this might also be a common mistake. The operating system has a limited table of how many filedescreptors it can maintain, and apparently you exceeded this limit.

Can't make eclipse open even after change eclipse.ini
According to this Eclipse document: Note the format of the -vm option - it is important to be exact: The -vm option and its value (the path) must be on separate lines. The value must be the full absolute or relative path to the Java executable, not just to the Java home directory. The -vm option must occur before the -vmargs option, since everything after -vmargs is passed directly to the JVM. Note the first requirement. So, try using this somewhere in your .ini file: -vm C:Program FilesJavajdk1.7.0injavaw.exe -vmargs -Dosgi.requiredJavaVersion=1.5 -Xms40m -Xmx512m Note: this is obviously a fragile way to enforce .ini file syntax, and I believe a later version of Eclipse has fixed this potential problem. But, looking at your file, you seem to have a May 2011 build, and if it

After much deleting and searching around I found I had Eclipse in a folder under Applications called "eclipse keplar", which apparently Eclipse didn't like, so I: Uninstalled Google App engine plugin and 1.8.4 Moved the app to a folder called "eclipse". So I think there might be a bug in the plugin that assumes, on a Mac at least, Eclipse lives in /Applications/eclipse. Good luck!
