Nested gridview checkboxes are not toggling when master gridview checkbox is toggled
When you run your first CheckBoxAll_OnCheckedChanged you will be running through each checkbox and changing its Checked to True or False dependent on what the CheckBoxAll has been ticked as. This will not cause a postback on the checkbox per one being run. Instead, while looping through the nested gridview you can call the CheckBoxAdd_OnCheckedChanged sub by just passing the object and same eventargs over to it. For example: Sub CheckBoxAll_OnCheckedChanged(sender as object, e as eventargs) 'Loop through gridview here 'When finding the control CheckBoxAdd just call For each gvRow as GridviewRow in gvStudents.Rows dim CheckBoxAdd as Checkbox = gvRow.FindControl("CheckBoxAdd") CheckBoxAdd.Checked = True 'Or false dependent on CheckBoxAll CheckBoxAl

How to call Parent Gridview's item Id by Nested GridView's Content
Unfortunately, you can't do that. WebGrid will only bind to a single model and because the columns aren't strongly-typed you can't reference a parent class. The solution is to create a ViewModel that contains all of the data you want to represent in your WebGrid and then bind your WebGrid to that ViewModel.

display gridview data in another page or other gridview with row data in editable mode
You need to add RowCommand Event in GridView. <asp:GridView ID="GridView1" runat="server" AutoGenerateColumns="False" OnRowCommand="GridView1_RowCommand"> <asp:LinkButton ID ="lnkEdit" runat ="server" CommandArgument='<%#Eval("Recordid")%>' CommandName ="cmdEdit" Text ='Edit'></asp:LinkButton> </asp:GridView> Here rocordid is the id of your record. In Page behind you need to write code. protected void GridView1_RowCommand(object sender, GridViewCommandEventArgs e) { if (e.CommandName == "cmdEdit") { string Recordid = Convert.ToString(e.CommandArgument.ToString()); Response.Redirect("EditPage.aspx?recordid="+Recordid ); } } On EditPage you can get recordid from the query string and can fetch the record form the datab

Nested Gridview
I don't think what you are trying to achieve is possible. You could try any of the below approach: Use a Single GridView. Load the image URI from drawable folder and also the images from URL into an arraylist and setup the adapter and hence the GridView. If you need two gridViews in a Single Activity, Create Two fragments with gridView in each layout. Load the drawable images in one gridView of "fragment A" and Url images in "fragment B". And In the FragmentActivity's layout, just include both fragments.

Expand nested gridview
You're doing a lot of stuff dynamically that I don't think you need to. You already have the Show Details CommandRow. If you handle the GridView's RowCommand event, you can capture the click for that button, and have access to which row the event occurred from. Inside that click event, you can call your stored procedure, FindControl your nested GridView, and bind the sproc result to your nested GV. I think this would be more straightforward. Unless there's a specific reason you're doing the dynamic stuff. Example: In your CommandField, set the property CommandText = "ShowDetailsCommand". Then, set up the event handler for Staff.RowCommand. Inside Staff_OnRowCommand method, add a conditional: if(e.CommandText=="ShowDetailsCommand") { GridView StaffInfo = e.Row.FindControl("S

Get Checked rows of a nested Gridview on button click
What I'd do is add a CommandArgument to Button4's declaration that will allow me to find the related GridView2. So, I'd use what you're using elsewhere, id1. Add CommandArgument='<%# Eval("id1") %>' to your Button4 declaration. Now, in Button4_Click, you can cast the sender to a Button like so: var button4 = (Button)sender; Once you have button4 casted correctly to a Button, you can access the CommandArgument property. var id1 = button4.CommandArgument; Once you have id1, it's as simple as iterating through the parent GridView, GridView1. Looks like your second column is bound to id1 as well, so you'd do the following: GridView foundGridView2; foreach(GridViewRow gvr in GridView1.Rows) { if(gvr.RowType == DataControlRowType.DataRow && gvr.Cells[1].Text == id1)

Find nested gridview in user defined function
First of all . . . Just as a disclaimer, I normally use repeater controls instead of gridview controls. But this may help you . . . I can tell you that with repeater controls, if you want to find a nested repeater then you must look for them inside the item of the parent repeater to which they belong. Essentially, what you are trying to do with the code above, is find grdChild when there might actually be several grdChild (it is a nested gridview, after all). I'd be willing to bet this is where you're object reference error is occurring. In other words, if you want to find the nested repeater with the ID nestedRepeater, and you know it is located in the first item of your main repeater (which in this case I've assigned to the myRepeater variable), you can do this: Dim myItem as Repeat

In our case, we have set a delay of 3 seconds by using Thread.Sleep(3000) C# protected void btnInvoke_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(3000); lblText.Text = "Processing completed"; } Took from here

How can I display all text in Cell of GridView
Under Columns Collection property there is AutoSizeMode under Layout. And use for example DisplayedCells and see for yourself. For Word Wrap you could set it programmatically like: // Columns[1] for 2nd column based on your example. dataGridView.Columns[1].DefaultCellStyle.WrapMode = DataGridViewTriState.true; But don't set the AutoSizeMode as above or else the columns will still expand. You could set it also manually under Columns Collection property and under Appearance select Default Cell Style and then set WrapMode to true.

How can I display a list of app icons in a gridview?
Yes you are doing it right, you need to create another XML file for each item in the list. Create and XML file and put ImageView inside the LinearLayout. After that you need to pass this xml file to your GridView. Inside your getView method you can update ImageView and show your icons. This tutorial explains it clearly : Android GridView Layout Tutorial I just realized, in this tutorial he doesn't create XML file for each item, instead he creates new ImageView at RunTime. If you look at this example, it shows in different way : Android GridView Example

I would recommend that you move this parsing logic out to a view model class that resolves the logic and returns the image url in a string property. That way it will be unit testable and much more manageable.

Windows forms - display image in gridview
I assume you mean DataGridView as GridView is a control in ASP.NET not Winforms. And to answer your question: yes it is possible. If you have DataGridViewImageColumn and want to show inside text you have to create textbox cell and replace it with default cell in that column: var row = new DataGridViewRow(); row.Cells[Stock.Index] = new DataGridViewTextBoxCell(); row.Cells[Stock.Index].Value = "Test";

How to display the multiple rows of images in gridview from sql table
Your handler, though running through a loop, will only return the first image it comes across. By calling these lines....: context.Response.BinaryWrite((Byte[])dtst.Rows[i]["image"]); context.Response.ContentType = "image/jpeg"; context.Response.End(); .....your essentially saying "Ok, you can stop now and spit out that image" - your other images in the loop won't be reached. Your handler should really only return a SINGLE image. So change your handler so it delivers just ONE image, you can put the ID of the image you want to display in the querystring, and then call the handler from your gridview. Something like (example, not tested) <asp:TemplateField HeaderText="MyImage"> <ItemTemplate> <asp:Image runat="server" ImageURL='<%# Ev
