How to create videoview like youtube "small screen and full screen play in android "
You have to override setAnchorView in your new java class which extend the Android's MediaController (android.widget.MediaController) and add an extra view/button to the controller. And do something like this @Override public void setAnchorView(View view) { super.setAnchorView(view); Button fullScreen = new Button(context); fullScreen.setText("FullScreen"); FrameLayout.LayoutParams params = new FrameLayout.LayoutParams(LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT, LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT); params.gravity = Gravity.RIGHT|Gravity.TOP; addView(fullScreen, params); } now add clicklister to view

Everything moves in website when changed from full screen mode on desktop screen
Something to this effect? The biggest issue was that you didn't have a minimum width for your menu, so it would keep shrinking until it stacked on itself. #navigation { float:left; width:60%; height:24px; min-width:1000px; text-align:center; padding:10px 20px; }

I have a background set to the bottom of the screen, but when I go to full screen there is an empty white space beneath. Why is this happening?
First, fix the errors in your HTML. They look terrible. Then, you calculate the height as screen.availHeight. That's a mistake, availHeight is the height of the desktop. Excluding things like taskbars and whatever you may have on your computer. What you need is screen.height.

Screen resolution. Full screen - perfect. Normal screen - not perfect
Can't see the rest of the code but if you want the background to be centered don't you want it to set it up as: body{ background-position: center; } The way it is now, the background is properly centered for only one resolution, because it is aligned to the left.

In both cases you are calling WindowState = FormWindowState.Maximized; and that is why your window always goes to full screen. In your second code block, you should remove that call and just leave it to WindowState = FormWindowState.Normal;

Full screen css layout
You can achieve this easily with the calc() function, though it isn't supported below IE 9 and mobile support is quite bad. All you need to do is give #divCenter a height of 100% minus the 20px + 20px of height from its siblings. To have the footer appear on the bottom, you need to relatively position its containing block and then absolutely position the footer and place it at the bottom (bottom: 0;). http://jsfiddle.net/gpwD4/6/

document goes out of full screen when new url
This is not an issue and is to be expected. There are two reasons for this: Technical The document or one of its element which the full-screen mode is bound to is no longer available or valid when navigating to a new site. The document or element is unreferenced and browser will revert to normal mode. Full-screen mode in browsers are not actual full-screen modes such as you see in for instance ActiveX / video players. They are simply element overlays that are shown at the full size of the screen (eg. by CSS rules defined internally by the browser). This creates dependency on the current DOM and document. The new site does not necessary have the same elements in the same order etc. and from a browser perspective is an entirely new DOM tree. Security Full-screen mode is permitted for

Canvas doesn't take full screen
It sounds like you want to use the HTML5 Fullscreen API. Here's a good article on the topic. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Guide/DOM/Using_full_screen_mode In short, your canvas element asks to be presented fullscreen like so: var canvas = document.getElementById("canvas"); canvas.requestFullscreen(); The above linked article should explain the details and cross platform caveats in detail. If you want to simply make the canvas take all available space in the browser window, that just takes some CSS. After googling for "fullscreen canvas" this was the third link, which shows the required CSS to make it work: http://jsfiddle.net/jaredwilli/qFuDr/

google maps api full screen
I think the problem isn't with the map as much but with the containing div. If you set the height of the div to 100% make sure that all containing divs have a height defined. You can tell if this is the problem by putting a border around the div, you may see that the height is the problem. It would be easier to fix if you can get it up for us to play with.

HTML Table does not use full screen
To make an element 100% height, you usually have to give the body and html 100% height as well. Add body, html { height: 100%; } to your CSS. You'll need to set the height of all elements in the hierarchy for this to work. Think of it as "100% of what? the element that is my parent." So what's that parent's height? Demo

Application stuck in full screen?
Overriding the ProcessCmdKey (protected method in Form) explicitly allow us to apply custom hook and can be used in your scenario. This essentially allow us to override built-in keystroke handling. Note: Following example demonstrate the idea of how to handle different keystroke or combination of it. Now, you probably need to fine tune the following code to work inline with your scenario. Eg: Ideally changing the FormBorderStyle or Form Size when user press the LWin+Up arrow. public partial class Form1 : Form { protected override bool ProcessCmdKey(ref Message msg, Keys keyData) { if (keyData == (Keys.LWin | Keys.Up))//Left windows key + up arrow { FormBorderStyle = FormBorderStyle.FixedDialog; return true; } if (keyData == Keys.Es

Android's FULL screen size
This snippet will give you height of your status bar. Rect rectgle= new Rect(); Window window= getWindow(); window.getDecorView().getWindowVisibleDisplayFrame(rectgle); int StatusBarHeight= rectgle.top; int contentViewTop= window.findViewById(Window.ID_ANDROID_CONTENT).getTop(); int TitleBarHeight= contentViewTop - StatusBarHeight; So the total height of screen is :- height = height+TitleBarHeight; original answer is here. Also note this will not work in onCreate put that code in runnable.

IE11 full screen on element
I think this is actually a small misconception of JQuery. JQuery-ing an ID doesn't actually return the element found - it returns a "JQuery object" which allows many actions on that element (or, on a series of elements if you used a class selector) I don't have IE11 available so I can't test for you, but try this. The [0] should retrieve the element itself. var xxx = $('#container')[0]; xxx.msRequestFullscreen();

Android Camera Preview not Full Screen
Judging by the code here:(which you can use actually), you can use the method getSupportedPreviewSizes() and see what are the supported resolutions, 1024x768 could easily be the highest one available for this preview and as you found out, it is really the highest supported. So those are the supported resolutions, there's no way you can get higher than the supported. You must find a workaround for this, like to put the preview in the center and surrond it with black frame or something like that.
