Changing highlighting color in a theme from Eclipse color theme
You can adjust the highlight colors directly in Eclipse. On the right side of your code you see the color mark for the search results (red arrow). If you right-click on this mark the entry "Preferences" shows up. This will take you to the Preferences Dialog: General > Editors > Text Editors > Annotations If you adjust the colors for Occurences and Search Results this should do the trick for you.

Unknown remote connections to SMTP server
You have two separate problems. Sending to Hotmail: They have a web page regarding their own private white list, and if you're not on the list, you get blocked. The two most common are called "sender policy framework" and domainkeys.

MySQL Abruptly Refusing Remote Connections
So I completely disabled my server's firewall and it appears to be the culprit. I had tried to disable certain rules before but disabling the whole thing worked. Very frustrating, but problem solved I guess... I think the key indicator that it was the firewall was because it happened at exactly midnight when my server likes to apply updates and such.

Switch color defined in LESS base on scala variable - switch color theme in different environment
I don't think it's possible to mix javascript and LESS in that way. I would just do something like: if (env === "DEV"){ var styleRef = document.createElement("link"); styleRef.setAttribute("rel", "stylesheet"); styleRef.setAttribute("type", "text/css"); styleRef.setAttribute("href", "dev-style.css"); document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(styleRef); } else if (env === "UAT"){ ... } And so on. You can then fetch the correct compiled CSS file according to your environment.

remote emacs client connects, but doesn't create new frame in terminal
There is nothing you could “check or configure”. You simply cannot use emacsclient remotely, because both processes share the frame, which does not work remotely for obvious reasons. If a client connects to an Emacs server, it does not actually create the frame itself. Rather, it merely tells the server what kind of frame to create, i.e. whether a GUI frame or a terminal frame. The server then creates the frame based on the client's request and parameters. Specifically, in case of a TTY client (i.e. emacsclient -t) the server attempts to create a frame on the client's TTY. Obviously this won't work if the server runs on a different system. TTYs are local and not remotely accessible. FYI, the “TCP mode” of the Emacs server was never intended for remote access. It is simpl

Get color value programmatically when it's a reference (theme)
This should do the job: TypedValue typedValue = new TypedValue(); Theme theme = context.getTheme(); theme.resolveAttribute(R.attr.theme_color, typedValue, true); int color = typedValue.data; Also make sure to apply the theme to your Activity before calling this code. Either use: android:theme="@style/Theme.BlueTheme" in your manifest or call (before you call setContentView(int)): setTheme(R.style.Theme_BlueTheme) in onCreate() I've tested it with your values and it worked perfectly.

Can't use referenced color (by theme) in drawable
Yes, this seems to be a known problem. But there is a workaround. Instead of using ?attr referenced colors like you described, create several drawables (as many as the different colors you have), let each call its colors directly. On the theme level, reference to the drawables themselves depending on the theme. It works that way. Update: On Lollipop, you can tint the drawable in XML. To cover pre-Lollipop, you can simply call this for all your drawables in question (thanks to the newer versions of the appcompat library): public void setDrawableColor(Drawable d, int color) { if (Build.VERSION.SDK_INT < Build.VERSION_CODES.LOLLIPOP) { d = DrawableCompat.wrap(d); DrawableCompat.setTint(d.mutate(), color); } }

OSX comes with Emacs 22 preinstalled as well. You might be running Emacs 22 from the Terminal accidentally (perhaps you just typed emacs -nw which would normally start Emacs 22). Normally in Emacs 24, after M-x load-theme you'd get the prompt Load custom theme: and pressing TAB once at this point would show the list of all available themes.

How to change Terminal background color when I open new tab?
By default, Terminal creates new tabs with the same settings as the current tab. You can change it to always use your default profile for new tabs in Preferences > Startup by changing New tabs open with: to Default Settings. Note that there’s a built-in way to automatically set the background color for specific commands instead of using the script from that other answer: You can set the name of a settings profile to a command name and Terminal will select that profile when you create a new terminal via either Shell > New Command… or Shell > New Remote Connection…. For example, duplicate your default profile, name it “ssh” and set its background color to red. Then use New Command… to run ssh host.example.com. It also matches on arguments, so you can have it choose different

SASS Color Theme without repeat elements
You could make a different assignment to the same variables ($color1 and $color2) with a simple if statement, checking the value of an extra variable, e.g. $theme: light; @if $theme == light { $color1: green; $color2: red; } @else if $type == dark { $color1: blue; $color2: orange; } @else { /* fallback values */ } and for scalability I just suggest to wrap this code in a themes.scss file, and to include it at the beginning of your main sass file. When you want to change theme, just change the value of your $theme variable. You can find further info about the @if directive on the official site

Hover Status Color Change, Avada Theme, Wordpress
If you make a CSS selector more specific than the one with the !important annotation, you should be able to override the hover color as long as you include an !important annotation of your own. For example, this: .featured-post a:hover { background-color: pink !important; } Will override this: a:hover { background-color: #ffffff !important; } Here's a simple JSFiddle demo. In the demo, the second link's styling overrides the !important annotation on the first due to having a more specific selector.

Android: change color of disabled text using Theme/Style?
I figured this out more or less by accident, but if you subclass Preference and override the onBindView(), you can achieve the "grayed out" effect when a preference is disabled: @Override protected void onBindView(View view) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub super.onBindView(view); TextView title = (TextView)view.findViewById(android.R.id.title); TextView summary = (TextView)view.findViewById(android.R.id.summary); if (title.isEnabled()) { title.setTextColor(getContext().getResources().getColor(R.color.gold)); } else { title.setTextColor(getContext().getResources().getColor(R.color.gold_disabled)); } if (summary.isEnabled()) { summary.setTextColor(getContext().getResources().getColor(R.color.orange)); } else {

I do not want that my child page inherits the link color (red) of the parent theme , how do i do that?
You need to add a second CSS rule that is more specific for your a tag. For example: #links a { color: white; } or #list a { color: white; } I would add these rules below the two that you posted in your sample. However, you could also use a class instead of an id to make the CSS rule more generally applicable. PS If you are applying this to your Tumblr page, there may be other styles conflicting so you might have to make the CSS rule even more specific. I would need the link to your Tumblr page to be sure.

How to change the color of a focused EditText when using "android:Theme.Holo.Light"?
May this help you: You will have to create/modify your own NinePatch image to replace the default one, and use that as the background of your EditText. If you look in your SDK folder, under your platform, then res/drawable, you should find the NinePatch image for the EditText focus state. If that's all you want to change, you can just pull it into Photoshop, or whatever image editing software you have, and change the orange color to a color of your choosing. Then save that into your drawable folder. For example: edittext_modified_states.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <selector xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" > <item android:state_pressed="true" android:drawable="@android:drawable/edittext_pressed"
