How to open outlook mail (.oft) format in outlook template when used in in jsp?
If you are using Tomcat, you can explicit the mime-type for this file in <tomcat-root>/conf/web.xml : <mime-mapping> <extension>oft</extension> <mime-type>application/vnd.ms-outlook</mime-type> </mime-mapping> Searching more, I've not found any official documentation about the above configuration as if you can set it in <application-root>/WEB-INF/web.xml, you can try a custom Filter : @WebFilter(urlPatterns = "*.oft") public class MimeTypeFilter implements Filter { public void doFilter(ServletRequest request, ServletResponse response, FilterChain chain) throws ServletException, IOException { response.setContentType("application/vnd.ms-outlook"); chain.doFilter(request, response); } public void init

Modify ribbon and emails view with mail app for Outlook
You can not currently insert items in to the ribbon or create views and filters using office apps based on the API surface that is currently available. The documentation at http://dev.office.com lists some samples for what you can do and the API space for mail apps specifically is available here. That link also discusses contextual activation and a lot of info on what mail apps can do.

How to create an E-Mail in Outlook and make it visible for the User
For me this works nicely according to a tutorial on vogella.com. I also tried your minimal code sample and got no error during OLE client creation. I used SWT 4.3, by the way. A little off-topic, but does it have to be Outlook? I mean, do you just want to automate e-mail sending - you could use JavaMail and do it headlessly, i.e. without automating an actual GUI client. The only reasons I can imagine for wishing to use Outlook or another e-mail client are: You need the sent message in your out-box for reference. Outlook is connected to an Exchange server which is configured to not accept SMTP connections as used by JavaMail. You might want to compose a basic message and show it to the user so she can add attachments or edit the text interactively before sending. But if it is just abou

Dynamically adding input controls to form, similar to Apple Mail Rules
Use JQuery.append( html_fragment) to dynamically build & append your desired HTML elements, into the TD or DIV container where you need them. See: http://api.jquery.com/append/ and also jQuery document.createElement equivalent? For example: var prefix = "cond0"; var content = "<select name='"+prefix+"_field'>"; // generate select options here.. content += "</select>"; // var container = $( "#"+prefix); container.append( content); Hope this helps.

try passing the parameters like so: C:whatever.exe -<your parameter> . Then read the parameter as an argument For example: if you have the exe as C:whatever.exe -<your parameter> in the void Main(string[] args) you would do the following: void Main (string[] args) { foreach (var item in args) { var parameter=item; // do whatever you wish with parameter } }

AE.net.Mail, How to move mail to a new folder in outlook
to move a message to another folder do this: ic.MoveMessage(message.Uid, "some existing folder"); The uid is the unique identifiier for the mailmessage. I assume it maps to the message-id as described in RFC for Internet Message Format. Or otherwise to the UNIQUEID in the IMAP protocol. to create a new folder use the this method: ic.CreateMailbox("new mailbox name"); To send emails use an SmtpClient, like the one that is supplied in the .net framework: using(SmtpClient client = new SmtpClient("your smtp server.com")) { client.Send("from@example.com", "to@example.com", "subject", "Hello World"); }

Reading Mail in Windows form Using C#
Why you Quit before getting your email from stream? Server returns content of email right after RETR command. i ran your code, and it looks for classic scheme of logging in: sw.WriteLine("USER user@gmail.com"); // Refer to RFC 1939 // sent to server sw.Flush(); strTemp = reader.ReadLine(); sw.WriteLine("PASS password"); sw.Flush(); strTemp = reader.ReadLine(); You should get OK right now with ie. +OK. Welcome. Now you should be able to pop messages. To get message content (from your code): sw.WriteLine("RETR 1"); sw.Flush(); strTemp = reader.ReadLine(); while ((strTemp = reader.ReadLine()) != null) { // find the . character in line if (strTemp == ".") { break; } if (strTemp.IndexOf("-ERR") != -1) { break; } str += strTemp; } complete

How to assign multiple threads to similar controls on windows form?
It doesn't make much sense to assign a thread to a control. All of the UI runs on a single thread, called the "main" or "UI" thread. And there's not much point in running the same code multiple times, even if it's happening "simultaneously" on multiple threads. It sounds like to me that you just need to calculate the result once and display it in multiple textboxes. That requires only one background thread. Either way, don't over-complicate things. Use the BackgroundWorker component to make spinning off computational tasks to background threads easier on yourself. Drop one on your form, add a handler for its DoWork event (where you do the computation), and then another handler for its RunWorkerCompleted (where you display the results of the computation). If you have trouble following th

Create an E-Mail and view it before sending
Email is just a text. Sometimes it is formatted as a simple HTML page. So, you can use any HTML viewer to view email content. If you are working on desktop application note that Swing components support simple HTML (version 1.0 or so). If you are working on web based application you can show email text into div, iframe etc. If you want to call default email client from your java application use Desktop.mail(URI). Take a look on this discussion. BTW is seems we are using different google. I typed "call email client from java app" and immediately found the mentioned SO discussion. EDIT I think that your question was not exactly correct. Outlook is just one of various email clients. Well, very popular. But still one of... It is not guaranteed that it is installed on user's machine. So,

How Can I Create A Simple PHP Mail Form For My Website?
In regards to: "How can I create a simple php mail form that will always work?" There are many PHP based forms that can be found on the Web, and you will find many by Googling "php form with validation", for example. Make sure that it includes proper validation and sanitization. Here is one example on tutsplus.com Also consult Sanitize filters on PHP.net and here also for examples. PHP(.net) has a function called mail() which you can read up on. Click here to see it. Ajax is another good method to use for email/forms. Here is one example. Google "ajax email form" and you will get many hits.

I think the error message “The item has been moved or deleted” is telling you the mail is already sent, so you should not change its "To" and send again. Please try to create the MailItem inside for-loop, or add all the address into mail item before sending the mail.

Attaching file to mail with outlook
Try this swap out your mail item for this code, taken from this link. 80040154 Class not registered ERROR in Outlook 2010 Add In Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.MailItem mail= app.CreateItem((OlItemType.olMailItem)); One of the problems you are going to run into with this method is that Outlook has security measures in place where you have to allow for an application to send on your behalf. It will prompt and there is no way to default that answer without using some software written specifically to suppress that message and answer it for you. This is not ideal for sending emails. I would suggest either using Exchange Web services or allow for a machine to be SMTP and use the System.Net.Mail Namespace. How ever you can use this code I provided to do this and I have tested and it works.

CSS not works for anchor tag in Outlook mail
Do you mean that the style should be applied to all the td ? well if yes, what you have done wont work, what you've done is called an inline css style which will be applicable only for that particular element. if you want it to be applied for all the td's then you'll have to have what is called the internal css style: <html> <head> <style> td{ //your code here } </style> </head> <body> //your code here </body> </html> and by the way, your code nesting is not proper, u have an opening 'a' tag and then an opening 'td' tag and then closing 'a' tag and then closing 'td' tag... you must either have it as: <td><a></a></td> or <a><td></td></a> try: <tr> <td style="background-color:

Trigger VBA code to run after a new mail is received in Outlook?

Since you want to run this on each message setting up WithEvents on your inbox is probably your best bet. For example: You can create a listeners for an Outlook folder as follows: Private WithEvents mainInboxItems As Outlook.Items Public Sub Application_Startup() Dim olApp As Outlook.Application Dim objNS As Outlook.NameSpace Set olApp = Outlook.Application Set objNS = olApp.GetNamespace("MAPI") Set mainInboxItems = objNS.Folders("whatever your main mailbox is called").Folders("AssignNumber").Items 'assumes your "AssignNumber" folder is a subfolder of the main inbox 'otherwise you can nest Folders("myArchive").Folders("As

how to make images in html mail presented in outlook client?
You are having this problem because outlook isn't rendering the external images without the user clicking download on the images or they don't have option to automatically download external images selected. The way you fix this is that you have to embed the images into the email message. To embed an image you have to use and AlternatView object and a LinkedResource object. You can find example code on how to do this at: How to embed multiple images in email body using .NET

Send mail using c# interop library without installing outlook client
yes this is possible using C# alone. user does not need to install outlook in client machine. C# provides a namespace called System.Net.Mail. This has all the classes required to send a mail from C#. It does not have any dependency with OutLook. Have a look below code snippet : System.Net.Mail.MailMessage message = new System.Net.Mail.MailMessage(); message.To.Add("jeet@abc.come"); message.Subject = "This is the Subject line"; message.From = new System.Net.Mail.MailAddress("From@XYZ"); message.Body = "This is the message body"; System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient smtp = new System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient("**yoursmtphost**"); smtp.Send(message); In place of "yoursmtphost" you can configure the Ip address of machine as well. Excel VBA Outlook / Mail functions requires recalculation or sets all formulas to #Value
If you're using RangeToHTML from Ron de Bruin's website, that's what's causing your problem. That utility is fine if you need perfect fidelity and have a heavily formatted bu otherwise fairly simple range. But if your range has a bunch of dependencies, you'll have problems. It's putting the range into its own workbook, so any formulas that refer to data outside the range get funky. If you need perfect fidelity, then you're stuck because the only way it will be perfect is by saving the range as HTML and reading that back. But if you don't have a bunch of heavy formatting or you just need a nice looking table, then I suggest you write your own RangeToHTML function that produces the HTML strings. David McRitchie has some functions that do a pretty good job if you don't want to roll your own
