how to configure https in sails.js
If you're using the latest v0.9 (and maybe some versions of v0.8) take look inside of config/bootstrap.js. You should be able to access your express app via the sails.express context. From there I think you should be able to do with it what you want to... Also someone in the #sailsjs irc channel said this worked for them module.exports.bootstrap = function (cb) { var fs = require('fs'); sails.config.express.serverOptions = { key: fs.readFileSync('ssl/key.pem'), cert: fs.readFileSync('ssl/cert.pem') }; cb(); };

hosting multiple websites on apache under one ip address
Move your rewrites into the first listed virtual host, and stop trying to capture the first path component of the URL as if it were part of HTTP_HOST -- capture it in the RewriteRule itself and use $1. Also see ServerPath which is an esoteric way to do the same mapping.

cURL - How to loop a task for multiple websites?
You could make a multi dimensional array and loop through it. <?php $postdata = array('Your update info ect'); $sites = array( array('url'=>'http://siteA.com', 'username'=>'username', 'password'=>'admin', 'cookie'=>"cookie.txt", 'postdata'=>$postdata), array('url'=>'http://siteB.com', 'username'=>'username', 'password'=>'admin', 'cookie'=>"cookie.txt", 'postdata'=>$postdata), array('url'=>'http://siteC.com', 'username'=>'username', 'password'=>'admin', 'cookie'=>"cookie.txt", 'postdata'=>$postdata), ); foreach($sites as $site){

With multiple websites hosted at same ip in Apache, how do I set which one is the default?
Default virtual host is the first one to be loaded. When in single file httpd.conf or vhosts.conf, just change the order of vhosts. When in vhost file based config (e.g. Debian uses that), it is a convention to prefix vhost files with a number. Default is usually 000-default. From Apache documentation: If the request contained an unknown or no Host: header it is always served from the primary name-based vhost (the vhost for that address/port appearing first in the configuration file).

Using Google Analytics with multiple websites on the same domain name
I was considering two options, that I'd like to share: Is to have multiple tracking codes. One for every client and one generic. Is to use custom variables. More precisely, to set session-level slot 1 variable to client-id. Is either of these solutions valid?

Hosting multiple websites dynamically in Azure web roles
Is it possible to modify the sites in a webrole while its running? Yes if you RDP into it and change it. That would be instance specific though and would need to be repeated for each instance. Not recommended, but possible. Otherwise theres no other way. How do you setup the routes? No different than how you do it normally in IIS. Will the appdomain recycle if you change the site? If changes are to the binaries (/bin) yup. It's just regular IIS at play in a WebRole, no different. Any pitfalls: This sounds like an interesting idea and if you re putting it out on github/codeplex i'd be interested. Since I have not tried this so can't comment on the pitfalls.

responsive website vs device specific multiple websites
As a quick thought, I see the following 3 aspects: Responsive design is for all screen resolutions (all in one). No need of file maintenance for each device (may a little burden your CSS [Media Queries]). Responsive is little pain, when we need to support IE. Better to be responsive rather than specific.

How to use a single search box for multiple domains or websites in wordpress
Am I right : your two websites have two distinct databases ? Therefore there is no simple way to search in the two sites at once. You could do it like this : Create separate tables, containing a copy of the data of the two sites. Have a cron job keeping these tables up to date. Connect your search box to these tables. Modify the display of the result in order to link to the correct site of both.

Multiple websites sharing content from one central location?
If you have three separate web sites as implied by you saying coping data from one site to another, I would set up a web service on the main site where the data is edited. Then just put macros on the other sites to display the data. If it is sensitive data add a login and password to the web service and it would all have to be https.

Multiple WordPress websites with single user registration?
I think you're looking for this solution: Multiple Databases, Same Users You can use the same userbase with all your blogs on the same domain, by defining the CUSTOM_USER_TABLE and optionally the CUSTOM_USER_META_TABLE constants to point to the same wp_your_blog_usermeta and wp_your_blog_users tables. It does say on the same domain, but could be easily modified to work in your situation. The idea is to use a common database.

How Can I Create a button that links to multiple websites using this HTML outline?
I'm not going to write the script for you but you'd want to use javascript to do this. Use the random function and assign your website urls to an appropriate number. Example: if you had three total websites then you'd do the random function and assign 0-.33 website 1, .34 - .66 website2, and .67 - 1 website 3.

how to configure multiple users to access multiple ressources with different rights?
Spring Security has a special ACL module to handle such situations. The basic idea is that each domain object / ressource may have separate access control list. You need to fill this list with appropriate permissions and add corresponding checks in your code. You can have parent -> child relations between the objects to reduce number of permissions. Check it out.

Git Add Multiple HTTPS Links
First of all, git remotes are specific to a given local repository, they aren't stored on the server. So unless everyone's stuck using the same local checkout, each person should just be able to set up the remote for the checkout they're using with their own account: git remote add origin https://<username_here>@bitbucket.org/company/site.git (Obviously for that to work each user will need to have their own BitBucket account with access to the repository.) If, for some reason, you still want to have git prompt for both a username AND password, (Everyone is sharing the same local checkout for some reason?) then you can just get rid of the <user>@ part of the URL completely. Git will then prompt you for both a username AND password every time you try to fetch or push: git re

System Architecture : How to Use the same Banner ( like google banner ) in multiple different websites hosted in different domains or subdomains )
You really have two separate questions here. First, how to include a bit of HTML in multiple projects. There's really a myriad of possibilities here. If all of your sites are in the same solution in Visual Studio, the easiest method is to simply pick one project to hold the partial view for the banner and then link to it in your other projects. You do this by right-clicking somewhere in your project in the Solution Explorer and choosing Add -> Existing Item..., find the file in the other solution, but instead of "Add" to confirm, click the arrow next to it, to expand the dropdown and choose "Add As Link". Alternately, or if one or more of your sites is not in the same solution or is in another language altogether, then your best bet is probably just to save the snippet of HTML as a flat f

running multiple websites with different database but using same user database
You can unite all the users in one database and move all access rules from all databases. For example Site1: User11 User12 ... User1N AccessRule11 AccessRule12 ... AccessRule1Q SiteM: UserM1 UserM2 ... UserMK AccessRuleM1 AccessRuleM2 ... AccessRuleML ResultBase: User11 User12 ... User1N UserM1 UserM2 ... UserMK AccessRule11 AccessRule12 ... AccessRule1Q AccessRuleM1 AccessRuleM2 ... AccessRuleML Later you can normalize the rule set. There maybe the same access rules on different sites. They have to be united.

If you need to inject several beans which implement the same interface into your service - check this answer, it may be what you are looking for. Simple approach would be: interface DevService { void add(Device d); String getName(); } @Service("devServiceLocal") class DevServiceLocalImpl implements DevService { void add(Device d) {...} String getName() {return "local";} } class Controller { @Autowired Collection<DevService> services; void doSomethingWithService() { // TODO: Check type somehow String servType = "local"; for(DevService s: services) { if(servType.equals(s.getName()) { // Call service methods break; } } } }

Yes, of course. "Product" in documentation is just an example. You can add as many different relations as you wish. It's totally up to you. Is it possible to configure multiple Apache WSGIAlias'es under same VirtualHost?
Yes you can. Go read: http://blog.dscpl.com.au/2012/10/requests-running-in-wrong-django.html though as take heed about how to set DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE. You may be hitting that issue. Do though update your question to say though what URL you are trying to access and whether you are getting an Apache 404 page or a Django one. BTW, both of your Directory blocks are wrong as they use the wrong directory. Are these the actual configs you are using or have you doctored it to protect real values?

Java: How to make multiple HTTPS request with only one SSL handshake?
I'm currently seeing seeing that each HTTPS request triggers a new handshake, albeit it's a session resume. How can I keep the SSL session alive between multiple HTTP requests? The fact that it's a session resume indicates that what you are asking for is already happening. The new connection is joining an existing SSL session. When you put HTTP keep-alive on top of that, whereby TCP connections are reused for multiple requests, with no re-handshake at all, there is really nothing left of your requirement that isn't already there. Your question doesn't make sense, or is already answered by the existing implementation.

How to configure Durandal.js to have multiple areas with views and viewmodels in same folder?
You can have any folder structure your heart desires. Durandal does not impose any folder structure on your application but it does have a default convention which is completely overridable. If you are using Durandals router then you will want to look into how to configure it to find modules. There are many ways of doing this, I prefer to create my own convention by overriding the router.autoConvertRouteToModuleId. If you are not using the router plugin then you will have to manage the uris for your modules yourself and this is done by following requirejs' convention and using this convention along w/ durandals composition module. Also, you can override how it finds the views to bind to your modules by overriding the viewlocators convention. Durandal provides an very simplistic way

How to configure a Spring REST Service to handle multiple versions?
This is what we are doing on our projects: packages {developer}.{customer}.{project}.core - @Service and @Dao stuff {developer}.{customer}.{project}.core.model - model entities, this is what the whole core package works with {developer}.{customer}.{project}.api.rest.v1.resource - @Controller REST resources {developer}.{customer}.{project}.api.rest.v1.model - DTOs for the v1 API {developer}.{customer}.{project}.api.rest.v1.mapper - mappers between DTOs and core model entities If core evolves (and it constantly evolves), it concerns only the API mappers. Resources and DTOs stays the same. Our core and its model changed a lot since we have introduced v1 API. Of course we are doing some backwards-compatible changes to the v1 - introducing new search parameters, resources or parameter ba

Using subprocess.popen with multiple stdin to configure system : Python 2.7
I haven't used Postgres in ages, but I'm guessing you want to su to postgres, and then run a command that requires postgres' rights. But your run(['sudo', 'su', '-', 'postgres']) will probably just open a shell and wait; run(['createuser'], False, 'testuser') will likely never get run. Instead, I believe you should combine these two commands. See the "-c" option to su. Alternatively, and a little more securely, you could give your source user postgres rights in sudo, to take root out of the equation and make your code a little simpler.

Configure Claim based identity for multiple applications in localhost
You would need to enable claims authentication in applicationB for this to work. In other words, you would need to setup the same system.identityModel web.config settings in applicationB as in applicationA (as you've shown in your example). Is there a reason that the JavaScript needs to be secured? If the scripts aren't secured, why not just make them accessible to everyone so you won't need to worry about the single sign-on across sites?

Facebook like button https issue: protocol mismatch from http and https
Reviewing the js code on Facebook there are multiple urls containing hard coded strings for http://static .../rsrc.php it's possible those are the files triggering the error. This may be something Facebook needs to update. On a side note, it may be possible to download that js file from Facebook and store it on your server and remove the hard coded http string. I would test this further but I am on my phone at the moment.

Once https page is visited, all subsequent pages are served from https
ok I think I found the reason. The links I am visiting are relative, so "/forum" for example. Once https is in the browser it seems like visiting a relative address is leaving the root as https:// and appending the relative path. I believe the fix here will be to use the full path for the link instead of relative.

You may need to set WSGIPythonHome since you have different Django installations. WSGIPythonPath is used to define additional directories, but this option do not set default python installation. pyramid - how to configure multiple forbidden view depend on resource factory?
The forbidden view is a view like any other, really; see the @forbidden_view_config() decorator documentation: An analogue of pyramid.view.view_config which registers a forbidden view. The forbidden_view_config constructor accepts most of the same arguments as the constructor of pyramid.view.view_config. It can be used in the same places, and behaves in largely the same way, except it always registers a forbidden exception view instead of a ‘normal’ view. This means it accepts the same predicates as pyramid.view.view_config() does; the decorator basically calls add_forbidden_view(), which means its arguments can be used in the decorator; the documentation for that method explicitly excludes context, but a route name is an option: @forbidden_view_config(route_name='hq'): def
