Facebook Comments Social Plugin - Problems Saving / Accessing comments for current URL
Turns out the order of the code was the issue. A Facebook App ID is not required. I had the aforementioned non-PHP solution above the Javascript SDK code. Once I rearranged these blocks, the comment box became functional.

Testing create action in polymorphic comments controller Rspec - undefined method `comments' for nil:NilClass
The problem here is that you're stubbing out load_commentable, which is what is responsible for setting the instance variable @commentable in your controller. Since you're stubbing it, it never gets called, and the ivar never gets set - you can't set ivars in your controller from your rspec test suite directly. Since you're creating a record, you don't actually need to stub anything, and can just pass the @commentable.id, then let it be looked up from the database. If you want to avoid the find for some reason, though, you could use: Question.stub(:find).with(@commentable.id).and_return(@commentable) This will cause your controller to use your @commentable object, and assign it to @commentable in the controller, at which point the test should continue to run normally.

Regex to replace JavaScript comments with Grails comments
Your s* idea inside a lookbehind does not work because in most (if not all) GREP versions, you cannot use a lookbehind of variable length. Is a two-step version also okay? remove previous nested comment starts: replace <%--s*// with <%-- convert remaining //comments as you already did to your Grails notation. (Edit) Ah, the wonders of GREP. After a bit of lateral thinking: Search for (<%--s*)?//s*(.+?)(s*--%>)?$ Replace with <%-- 2 --%> This assumes your GREP dialect understands the non-greedy modifier expression (.+?) -- it is necessary in this case to prevent gobbling up the end sequence "--%>" (which, after all, is optional), and doubling it in the output. If it does not, try this: (<%--s*)?//s*(((?!--%>).)*)(--%>)? replace with the same.

Running `cucumber feature/test.feature` in ruby shows weird behaviour
The first line instructs the shell to run myapp.rb, which is, AFAIU, this script itself. Namely, each execution of the script recursively runs itself again. Try the following: #!/usr/bin/ruby `cucumber feature/test.feature` Or, even better, directly from the CLI: cucumber feature/test.feature To run all the tests simply issue the cucumber command without args: cucumber

Facebook Comments Box - access all the comments on my website
You can add yourself as a moderator (which is probably a good idea anyways) by adding this in head: <meta property="fb:admins" content="{YOUR_FACEBOOK_USER_ID}"/> Or you can instead add a Facebook application (and all the moderators of that app) with: <meta property="fb:app_id" content="{YOUR_APPLICATION_ID}"/> (but note that you can't do both). Having done that, you can see all the comments to moderate here: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/comments?view=queue Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anyway to subscribe to this queue.

How can we make comments and likes ignore the #anchor from URLs so one whole page only has one set of comments and likes?
I know that I'm really late with this, but you can add a the data-href attribute to the facebook like button when you are using the XMLNS version of it, which I can see is being used from the comments section. So for your example you would put: <fb:like layout="box_count" action="like" show_faces="true" share="true" data-href="http://www.humanreligions.info/humanism.html"></fb:like>

This is not possible, the Comments Plugin can´t show the comments of a page post (or album/photo/whatever) on facebook. You can also try this in the Plugin Configurator: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/comments/ You have to connect a specific URL to the Plugin, but it does not work with a facebook.com URL. Would turning off feature in kernel cause kernel module(using feature) to misbehave?
CONFIG_HUGETLBFS can disable the user-space API, and CONFIG_TRANSPARENT_HUGEPAGE can disable automatic creation of huge pages for generic memory. However, huge pages are an integral part of the x86 memory management code and are used for things like direct mappings or large MMIO regions. You cannot simply switch off huge pages. When you are working with the MM code, you cannot avoid worrying about huge pages.

How to add comments to a .docx XML
Choosing to edit the document is a good choice imo! Word does a lot of changes when opening a docx and saving it again, so I would'nt trust this. I don't even know where it would be possible to store hidden and persistent data inside document.xml. Here's an idea to get what you need using an other technique. Hello {name} with name="edi9999" will be replaced by Hello edi9999 {#names} Hello {name} {/names} with names=[{name:"John"},{name:"Mary"},{name:"Jane"}] will be replaced by: Hello John Hello Mary Hello Jane Now the trick to comment out a section is to use an empty array. if names=[] the output will be an empty string. If you want to uncomment it, use an array with one element. Inspired by Mustache How do I build this ? I have created an implementation of this for Java

Storing Comments with PHP
You cant do this: $a= array('comments' =>'$_GET["like"]'); mysql_query("INSERT INTO try1 (Comments) VALUES ('$a')",$conn); as $a is not a String, so when you include it in the string argument it is simply outputted as "Array" hence why you see array in the database. This would work mysql_query("INSERT INTO try1 (Comments) VALUES ('{$a['comments']}')",$conn); However, Id strongly suggest listening to advice in the comments of the question. Although useful for a learnign exercise, you may want to look into using a php web framework like codeigniter or cakephp

Facebook comments in dreamweaver
You need to scrape your page to refresh Facebook's internal cache. To scrap you can send a web request to the Facebook Object Debugger and pass your URL, or you can do like this: curl "http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=$url" Also: When does Facebook scrape my page? Facebook needs to scrape your page to know how to display it around the site. Facebook scrapes your page every 24 hours to ensure the properties are up to date. The page is also scraped when an admin for the Open Graph page clicks the Like button and when the URL is entered into the Facebook URL Debugger. Facebook observes cache headers on your URLs - it will look at "Expires" and "Cache-Control" in order of preference. However, even if you specify a longer time, Facebook will scra

Typescript 0.9.1 no option to keep comments set to off
The flag is now called --removeComments in the command-line compiler. If at all possible, stop using the Web Essentials TypeScript features. These have been extremely problematic in the past (e.g. WE spawning one copy of tsc.exe per .ts file in your solution) and are being removed in future versions of Web Essentials. You can use the TypeScript .targets file and MSBuild task instead now.

K&R exercise 1-23 remove comments
The first section of code has a typo: while(i != ' '){ It should be while(line[i] != ' '){ The second section of code has slightly incorrect logic: while((line[i] != '*') && (line[i+1] != '/')){ The right logic can be expressed correctly in several ways; try rewriting it in the following form: while (!(blah blah blah)) { where blah blah blah is the condition you want to check. Please also note that if the comment is not terminated (e.g. no new-line character after //), your code will try to read data beyond the end of the input file (causing bad output or crash). To fix this, add the check i < l to all conditions in while loops.
