pointing to local drive Office.FileDialog fDialog = Application.get_FileDialog(Office.MsoFileDialogType.msoFileDialogSaveAs)
Don't know if you allready got the answer.. But the problem is mostly on the local client. Sometimes the WebClient service has to be restartet to make the windows explorer see a SharePoint document library as a folder. The other problem can be an access problem. If the site isn't a Trusted site, windows explorer cannot send the user token through.

Active Sync Client Sync Message, status code 4 - ParseSyncKey - AirSyncPermanentException
From http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg675447(v=exchg.80).aspx : A Status element (section 2.2.3.162.16) value of 4 is returned if the GetChanges element is present and empty or set to 1 (TRUE) when the SyncKey element value is 0 (zero). No error is returned if the GetChanges element is absent or set to 0 (FALSE) when the SyncKey value is 0 (zero). You have present and empty in your xml. You only may set GetChanges to 1 or live it empty (which is by default = 1) in any consequential sync request, not in initial sync request.

Use Interlocked.CompareExchange sync with a sync object in a Timer HandleElapsed handler
This is atomical, so threadsafe int sync = Interlocked.CompareExchange(ref syncPoint, 1, 0); if (sync == 0) It means: if the syncPoint is 0, put it at 1, give me the old value (so 0) and put it in sync (a local variable). Then check if the exchange was done (so if the old value was 0) What I would make different is instead of syncPoint = 0; I would use Interlocked.Exchange(ref syncPoint, 0); just to be sure that other threads can immediately see that the "lock" is free, otherwise the current thread could delay "writing" that syncPoint = 0 and no other threads could enter the "lock". BUT in the example given this is not a problem: HandleElapsed is called in response to a event (the Timer probably uses OS timers)... I can't even imagine that after the event has been handled ther

chrome.storage.sync doesn't sync between machines
So I finally figured this out. When not using Chrome Web Store your manifest file should include a key (https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/manifest.html#key) ... "key":"myawesomeextension" ... Without this every time you install the extension on a different device (through chrome://extensions/ --> Load unpacked extension) it gets a new id and therefore the data being synced doesn't get matched to the correct extension - same extension with different ids = two different extensions in the eyes of Chrome. There is no need for a key once the extension is in Chrome Web Store. Hope this helps somebody keep some hair at some point.

chrome.storage.sync does not sync across browsers and devices
Is your extension uploaded to your Chrome Web Store account and published (or at least published to your testers)? Cross-computer sync doesn't work on non-Web Store extensions last I checked, so you have to put it on the Chrome Web Store to test. You also have to make sure Extensions is checked under chrome://settings/syncSetup.

Where are the Office PIA's installed?
Where do I go from here to obtain these libraries? They will have been installed in the GAC. After installing, you should be able to add a COM reference to Excel in Visual Studio, and it will reference the PIA assembly rather than generating an assembly with TLBIMP. And applications that reference the PIA from that version of Office will be able to run. And is developing on windows always this awful? Not always, but more often than I'd like.

Office VBA macro is being compiled?
I'm not sure if this is what you're explicitly looking for, but I managed to find this... "Code written in VBA is compiled to a proprietary intermediate language called P-code (packed code), which the hosting applications (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) store as a separate stream in COM Structured Storage files (e.g., .doc or .xls) independent of the document streams. The intermediate code is then executed[1] by a virtual machine (hosted by the hosting application)." From the following wiki page.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_Basic_for_Applications More info on P-Code.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_P-Code Hope this helps!

Can I just use Office Web Apps Server
You can write your own server that implements WOPI protocol, this will support PPTX/XSLX in view/edit mode, DOCX/PDF in view mode only. WOPI server is pretty simple to implement. To edit word docs you need to implement Cobalt or FSSHTTP/FSSHTTPB protocol. Also don't forget licensing, Office Web Apps requires that all users have a valid office license. Here is a sample .NET WOPI server: Call it with: http://OFFICEWEBAPPS.HOST/p/PowerPointFrame.aspx?PowerPointView=EditView&access_token=12345&WOPISrc=URLENCODED_URL_OF_THE_WOPI_SERVER Like: http://WOPISERVER.HOST:2000/wopi/files/1.pptx This will open 1.pptx in your c: emp using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Linq; using System.Text; using System.Collections; using System.Runtime.Serialization; using Syst

Well you could start by grabbing a cobalt assembly from the Office Web Apps machine, I think its called Microsoft.Cobalt.dll.. It should help you to decipher the messages. I am trying to get back to work on this proof-of-concept. If I get it to work I'll post a quick reference here. But the documentation sucks, I have to intercept the messages between the sharepoint and office web apps to make sense of them.

Exchange columns in bash
There are carriage returns (^M or Control-M) in the data file. It probably came from a Windows machine at some point. When you print $2","$1 (which concatenates $2 with a string containing a comma and then $1 — it took me a couple of looks to see what it was really doing), the carriage return makes the second column overwrite the first. Look at the data file with od -c or similar tools to see the carriage returns in it. You can use dos2unix or tr or various other techniques to convert the file from DOS/Windows format to Unix format. Also, given the data format shown, I'd expect not to use -F " " (or the FS = " ", which is equivalent), so that you have columns $1, $2, and $3, which is more obvious than working with columns 1, 3, 5 as shown. You could set OFS to double-blank if y

Method for exchange MTU for BTLE in iOS
The MTU seems to be hard wired within the operating system. I made some tests with iOS 7 and I get a MTU of 132 bytes. Until iOS 7.0, one could not even query the MTU. In iOS 7.0, it is in the maximumUpdateValueLength property of CBCentral. Attempting to update characteristic values with my application running on iOS 6.1, I noticed that a 30 byte update on the peripheral would be read as the first 20 bytes by the central. This triggered me to: 1. look deeper into the documentation, 2. Update all my devices to iOS 7.04 3. Run some tests and query the value of CBCentral.maximumUpdateValueLength My results, based on a iPhone 4S, a iPodTouch and a iPad mini: 132 bytes seems to be constantly reported. I no longer observe the "clipping" of my 30 bytes update down to 20 bytes. I think this

show ads from a banner exchange
Each time you call updateData() you are deleting the current SVG and adding a new one. d3.select('.' + value) returns the SVG node currently in the DOM, so setting an attribute of it is temporary, just until you delete it and add a new one. Check out this updated fiddle. I added a global visibleCharts object that I change when the checkboxes change and use these values on each updateData() call. You could also skip the whole on('click') and global visibleCharts mechanism and just check if the checkboxes are checked directly in the updateData() function.

How to exchange values between XMM registers?
The real value in the xchg operation is its use in sync primitives, spinlocks, etc. It can impose heavy penalties, due to its implicit lock prefix. Certainly no one would implement sync primitives using SSE, but would an exchange have any merit? It might be useful on occasion, but with 8 SSE registers in 32-bit mode, and 16 in 64-bit mode, why not simply use an SSE scratch register? I don't know if any x86-64 processors use register renaming, etc.,in their SIMD units (to eliminate false dependencies). You've ruled out using xorps (or the _mm_xor_ps intrinsic), which is typically a useless trick on modern processors anyway - certainly with general purpose registers, and you've ruled out the use of memory. That's all your possibilities exhausted, I'm afraid. To summarise: No.

Diffie Hellman Key Exchange
You aim to go for 512 bit length: kpg.initialize(512); You can generate p and g of such length like this: int bitLength = 1024; SecureRandom rnd = new SecureRandom(); BigInteger p = BigInteger.probablePrime(bitLength, rnd); BigInteger g = BigInteger.probablePrime(bitLength, rnd); The probablePrime probably use Rabin-Miller or Solovay-Strassen test which gives only 2^-100 chance (virtually no chance) that the resulting integer is not prime. Since 2002 a there's a polinomial-time algorithm called AKS (Agrawal–Kayal–Saxena) to test primes for 100% certainty (but I haven't seen it used so far, probably 2^-100 is good for anyone).

Office word macro language?
This related question is a good example of using lua with Excel. It in fact contains a lot of documentation about getting lua/Excel talking. You can't directly work with other languages in Excel the way you can VBA. However, a lot of languages do have the ability to create COM objects (such as in the example above) which let you interact with Excel quite similarly to how you otherwise would do in VBA. Here's a Python package which does similarly. But if you want to basically write lua code in the VBA editor and "change language" then no, you can't.

Microsoft Office Hyperlink Issues
This is likely due to the behavior https://github.com/spilliton/fix_microsoft_links is designed to fix. Basically this is because when Office products try to open a link, they open it internally, follow any redirects, and analyse the resulting document to see if it can be opened with an Office application. When the link needs to be opened with a browser, they forward on the final url (result of a redirect) to the browser, which in your case is the login page. When opened in the browser, it notices we are already logged in and redirects to wherever your application goes in that case, possibly the login page

How to add older office Compatibility to PHPExcel_Writer_CSV
Office 2003 compatibility is meaningless for a CSV file. Office 2003 Compatibility relates to style elements that changed in the OfficeOpenXML file format between MS Excel 2007 and MS Excel 2003 with the compatibility pack. CSV files do not contain any style or format information, so the principle of Office 2003 compatibility for a CSV file is meaningless.
