Blueimp jQuery multiple fileupload plugin $(this).fileupload() not a function
You have to make sure that you are loading all the script files in the correct order: jquery.ui.widget.js jquery.iframe-transport.js jquery.fileupload.js just before you close the body tag. Also, use the browser inspector the see that the scripts are actually loading.

Is compatible Jasny fileupload plugin + blueimp fileupload?
There is a namespace clash between Blueimp fileupload and Jasny fileupload. See this GitHub issue. You can work around this by changing th (blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload) widget factory namespace from $.widget('blueimp.fileupload', {.... to e.g $.widget('blueimp.fileuploader', {....

blueimp fileupload with angularjs not uploading anything
This might save you hassle if you are looking for file upload using AngularJS https://github.com/danialfarid/angular-file-upload It is basically a directive like tosh's answer that takes care of non-HTML5 browsers with FileAPI flash polyfill and has $http.uploadFile function to upload the actual file via AJAX. This issue Everything looks to be working, but no file in upload folder seems very similar to yours you can ask him how he fixed it.

Rails blueimp fileupload - cannot select files in Internet Explorer
It took me quite some time to figure it out but in the end it was actually pretty simple: When applying my own styles I replaced the span-tag around the Add-Files-Button with a button-tag. This had no effect in the webkit browsers, however led to an immediate form submit in Firefox and Internet Explorer. Changing it back finally solved the issue :)

Uploading image with blueimp and function structure similar
You try to attach fileupload plugin to #fileupload div when this div does not exist. The course of events in your file is: find #fileupload and attach fileupload plugin to it attach loading external data into main form to a button Then, you click on a button, #fileupload is loaded, but without the plugin attached. One of the options to fix the problem is to execute the attaching process after loading the layer - e.g. to make main.js look like this: function open_form() { $.get('test.php?rand',function(response){ $('#main').html(response); $('#fileupload').fileupload({ url: 'upload.php', dataType: 'json', done: function (e, data) { $.each(data.result.files, function (index, file) { $('

Struts2 excel fileupload using org.apache.commons.fileupload
I found a solution to the problem I faced @ http://grokbase.com/t/struts/user/095ewvh02e/file-upload-jupload-how-to-disable-struts2-fileupload-interceptor The thing which worked from above post :) - I finally safely changed the struts2 filter mappings from "/" to ".action" and today i've had great success merging redback struts2 with my existing webapp. I gave this a try & the S2 fileupload interceptor did not interfere & all my actions which use S2 have *.action extension. Thanks Roman C & Dave for your time & efforts I appreciate pshinde31

Javascript callback function result function triggered too early
It would seem that even though the element has been added to the DOM, the form isn't refreshed yet by the time your callback function is called. You have mentioned you don't wish to use it, but without a reproducible fiddle I can only suggest setTimeout(): if (callback) { setTimeout(callback, 1); } This briefly hands over control to the browser so that it can do some internal bookkeeping and it's (unfortunately) a proven way for these kinds of issues.

Trigger a function only once inside a continously triggered function
var glob_timeout_holder; function img_mouse_down(){ if(leftMouseButton){ Triangulate(); //Call this function every time. clearTimeout(glob_timeout_holder); //clear if any previous continuing timeouts glob_timeout_holder = setTimeout(ImageCalculationlast, 3000); } } This may help you, as far as I understood. Everytime img_mouse_down() run, it will set a timeout to execute ImageCalculation(), but just before that kill any previous timeOuts, result is, if user stop clicking, ImageCalculation() will be called once 3 seconds after last click.

How can i separate the user triggered and program triggered on textbox1_TextChange Event in C#
You can subscribe the TextChanged event after the initialization, for example: private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { //facebook illusion this.textBox1.ForeColor = System.Drawing.ColorTranslator.FromHtml("#CCCCCC"); this.textBox1.Text = "+Enter Message"; this.textBox1.TextChanged += textBox1_TextChanged; } private void textBox1_TextChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) { this.textBox1.ForeColor = System.Drawing.ColorTranslator.FromHtml("#000000"); this.textBox1.Text = ""; } And remove it from the designer. Alternatively you can set up the ForeColor and the Text "+Enter message" directly in the designer, in this way the initialization is done before the TextChanged event subscribing.

AngularJS Directive - How to let an event only be triggered once if otherwise it'll be triggered on multiple elements?
You need to stop the propagation of events. Events propagate upwards. In your directive put something like the following: $(elm).click(function (event) { event.stopPropagation(); }); Or, you could create a stop-propagation directive itself. This SO question has a great way of doing it.

Javascript function is not triggered for a div thats loaded with Ajax
As the div#stream is loaded with Ajax, this function $('#stream').infinitescroll is not getting Triggered. make sure you call the .infinitescroll({ after the div#stream is loaded in the document.. $.ajax({ ... success:function(){ //your codes which appends #stream $('#stream').infinitescroll({ navSelector : ".paginate:last", nextSelector : "a.paginate:last", dataType : 'json', appendCallback : false, path: "someurl" }, function(json, opts){ alert("json Fetched..") }); } }); you need to call the methods again when an element is dynamically added. calling it in document.ready will be of no help since when the document is ready the #stream div might not be present in the document when this method is called

You can’t pass a resource, like a PDO instance, to a JavaScript function. It doesn’t exist by the time the HTML is rendered. You’ll need to create the PDO instance in the PHP script your JavaScript function calls.

Function inside of delegate event not triggered
Do not have enough reputation to put comment Please check if you have set the correct UIControlState, In your code, your PlayButton may be in different state, i.e. not in UIControlStateNormal Use [PlayButton state]; to check the state. You can place the check here - (void)audioRecorderDidFinishRecording:(AVAudioRecorder *) aRecorder successfully:(BOOL)flag{ NSLog(@"Play button state: %d", [PlayButton state]); // this line [PlayButton setImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"playbutton.png"] forState:UIControlStateNormal]; NSLog (@"audioRecorderDidFinishRecording:successfully:"); } Also for better understanding (programming practices), use this [PlayButton setImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"playbutton.png"] forState:UIControlStateNormal]; instead of a "0" magic number. Hope it

How to pass values into anonymous function that is triggered by an event?
Try using closure to capture the current i and use var instead to create private variables. for(var i = 0; i < linkItemsLen; i++) { eat.push(pacmanMove(linkItems[i][2], 65, 1, linkItems[i][0], linkItems[i][4])); window[linkItems[i][0]].on('mouseover', (function(index) { //create closure to capture current index. return function(){ //Use var instead var tween = eat[index]; tween.play(); } })(i)); } Because you're attaching event handlers in loop, at the end of the loop, the i is equal to linkItemsLen which outside of your eat array => eat[i] returns undefined. All your event handlers lose the current i. Using the same technique, you could also pass the tween directly to the function: for(var

mouseenter triggered on page load & if no other mouseenter event is triggered

EDIT: After looking over your edits, i might have found your problem When you are targeting elements with jQuery, the id attribute should only be used once in your DOM. Assuming that this is true with your html, the next thing I would guess is that you are not listening for when the mouse enters a different item (for example the next li in your list). If this is true, you just need to listen for the mouseenter event on the other li elements. Last

blueimp file upload server side progress with PHP
if your uploading directly your file directly to S3 Bucket through your PHP code, then it is impossible to show upload progress. Amazon S3 currently have no support for this. If you want to show any upload progress, show the upload progress of your server. After that move the uploaded file from your server to S3 Bucket. But in this way, the progress bar will take some time to complete on 98%-100%, because during that time only uploaded file will be moved to S3.

maxFileSize and acceptFileTypes in blueimp file upload plugin do not work. Why?
Had the same problem, and the blueimp guy says "maxFileSize and acceptFileTypes are only supported by the UI version" and has provided a (broken) link to incorporate the _validate and _hasError methods. So without knowing how to incorporate those methods without messing up the script I wrote this little function. It seems to work for me. Blueimp jQuery File Uploader and save filesize into database
Have you tried github wiki of Blueimp jquery file Uploader . Here is link https://github.com/blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload/wiki/Working-with-databases It tells you how to use database with uploader and you have to add your database updating code in UploadHandler.php because on every single upload this uploader send XML request to server, and Classes defined in UploadHandler.php in server/php folder is used. Also in protected function handle_file_upload there is defined size variable which will be used in your mysql query. $file->size = $this->fix_integer_overflow(intval($size)); Rest you can do yourself via link i gave to you.

ASP.NET FileUpload Functionality
If the file is never "uploaded" to a server or a database, where your asp.net application is running, then your application cannot serve the file. The file won't magically appear of the client's machine if there is no way for the client to download the file from your server or database. The FileUpload control in ASP.NET just posts the file via HTTP to your web application. You can grab the bytes from the posted file and save it somewhere in your server's file system or database. Here are some simple examples of how to save a posted file from an asp.net FileUpload control: http://aspdotnet-viz007.blogspot.com/2013/02/file-upload-control-in-aspnet-and.html

Persist FileUpload Control Value
Background:: When a file is selected using FileUpload Control ,then on postback, PostedFile property gets initialized with HttpPostedFile object for the file. Since http request cannot maintain state, so it looses it's state. NOTE: FileUpload control will not work with asynchronous postback. So a postback is needed to get the file. One way is to set the triggers for your Upload button, i.e. <asp:PostBackTrigger > & NOT <asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger> <asp:UpdatePanel ID="UpdatePanel1" runat="server" UpdateMode="Conditional"> <ContentTemplate> <asp:FileUpload ID="fileUploadImage" runat="server"></asp:FileUpload> <asp:Button ID="btnUpload" runat="server" Text="Upload Image" OnClick="btnUpload_Click" /> </Cont

If you want to get progress for individual files you can use callbacks provided by the plugin, as you mentioned you are using fileupload.js means you are using bluimp file upload plugin. it provides many callbacks eg $('#fileupload').bind('fileuploadprogress', function (e, data) {/* ... */}) $('#fileupload').bind('fileuploadprogressall', function (e, data) {/* ... */}) here's the link to find all the options provided by blueimp plugin. if you are not using this plugin then never mind.

Set a string to a fileupload as it's filename
Its a bad idea since user might not have file in same location or he might have completely deleted it or he may browsing from other machine that results in invalid functionality. However, the file upload value can be set from javascript. If you really intend to do that, store the path in hidden field and in body onload event set the fileupload value to the hidden field value.
