How can change map api v1 key which is already on google play store?
Everything you want to switch over to Google map v2. In map v1 you have used Overlays,it will not support in Google map v2.So not only key you want to do rework for your project by replacing it and moreover google map v1 keys were not maintained by Google, so only map looks blank. So the only solution is, you want to switch your code to Google map v2.

Crawling the Google Play store
I have did the job in Python before, what you need is a web auto test lib called selenium, it can execute Javascript code and return the result to Python, with Javascript, you can click the "show more" button by the program itself. And when you get all links for a single category page, you can get some info for the app. The simple demo here. Hope helpful.

and the Google Play Store
Most likely, you don't, because there are effectively no devices that can only be operated with a stylus. Devices like the Galaxy Note can be used with their supplied stylus, but can also be used with a finger. The android:reqTouchScreen="stylus" option was added in to support devices that might use a old-style resistive touchscreen that can only be used with such a stylus. It does not refer to the modern sort of "active stylus" you see accompany some devices. If you are using some proprietary API for interacting with the stylus (e.g., Samsung S-Pen), there may be aspects of how you connect to their API (e.g., <uses-library>) that will serve as a filter, restricting you to devices that support that API.

My app is not appearing for my phone in the google play store
That happens when you dont have your app supporting your phone. To confirm, check your google play store console APK Excluded devices 0 Manage excluded devices In your case, you will get a few excluded devices, browse them, you should find your phone there. If you do the following in your manifest you should be able to get a 0 on excluded devices. <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="8" android:targetSdkVersion="16" /> <supports-screens android:anyDensity="true" android:largeScreens="true" android:normalScreens="true" android:smallScreens="true" /> Edit : Just saw your update. Also add these to your manifest, that way you are not making it essential to have location.gps. <uses-feature android:name="android.hardware.location.gps"

Google map v2 doesn't work in play store
Your Maps API key is tied to the SHA1 signature of the keystore that is used to sign the app .apk. When you run your app from eclipse, a debug keystore is used, when you export your app for release, you use a 'real' keystore (it's SHA1 fingerprint is shown at the end of eclipse's export wizard). So you have to create another Maps API key (to put in your manifest) corresponding with you release keystore for release. Check Google's documentation here.

How can I recover old version of apk from Google Play Store
AStupidNoob answered your question but on a side note. You should really start using git for version control. You can use bitbucket for free online private git projects to avoid being in a similar situation in the future. If you then remember to tag your git versions before releases you'll have an even easier time going back in code.

Can't find Android App in Google play Store
The App compatibility depends on many factors, i.e. screen sizes, OS version, device hardware support, some features added in app, etc... All this information is provided on Android Developer website by Google. You can go through the topic Filters on Google Play and maybe revise the manifest.xml file of your app. You might get some idea why it is not compatible with several devices.

Android table specifications for google play store
Are you sure that only tablets are filtered out? Google Play filters applications based on explicit and implicit feature requirements. Implicit feature requirements are derived from requested permissions. For example, your manifest implies GPS requirement. If your app doesn't really need GPS, you need to disable the filter explicitly <uses-feature android:name="android.hardware.location.gps" android:required="false" /> There are also other implicit requirements, for example, if you force portrait orientation for any of yours activity, Play Store will filter devices by the implicit android.hardware.screen.portrait requirement, which can be also explicitly disabled <uses-feature android:name="android.hardware.screen.portrait" android:required="false" />

How know if a user has already noted your application on Google Play Store?
There's no API from Google that allows you to find out if a user has voted for your app. You could make an assumption that new app installs are unlikely to be users who have already voted for your app. So you could just store a boolean in SharedPreferences to show a popup dialog after X number of app opens if this value is true. On "OK" or "Cancel" of this dialog just set this to false and save it and it will never load again. Of course if the user installs the app on a different device or uninstall/reinstalls/clears data it will alert them again but I think this is rare enough to not be a problem.

Developing android app for both Google play and Amazon Store
OpenIAB - Open In-App Billing is an in app billing library which helps you integrate many stores in your app from one library. here is their intro: Uploading Android apps to all the existing Android appstores is a painful process and the AppDF project was designed to make it easier. But what is even more difficult for developers is supporting different in-purchase APIs of different appstores. There are five different In-App Purchase APIs already and this number is increasing. We are going to create an open-source library that will wrap appstore in-app purchase APIs of all the stores and provide an easy way for the developers to develop their apps/games in such a way that one APK will work in all the stores and automatically use the right in-app purchase API under each store. We will al

Android how to implement card interface similar to Google play store
ListView and GridView are basically the same behind the scenes. They both inherit from AbsListView and so both have a getView method. Have a look at this tutorial on how to implement GridView: http://www.mkyong.com/android/android-gridview-example/ EDIT: Inside the getView method you would inflate your item like this: public View getView(int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent) { LayoutInflater inflater = (LayoutInflater) context.getSystemService(Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE); View inflatedView; if (convertView == null) { inflatedView = new View(context); inflatedView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.mylistitem, null); } else { inflatedView = (View) convertView; } return inflatedView; } This is not different from how you do it

How do you maintain 2 sets of in-app purchase code for Google Play and Amazon App Store
I use a BAT file to build the different versions (Android, Kindle Fire, iOS). Each version is built with a different value for a conditional compilation symbol that indicates the target marketplace. I use this approach for my code: Create an interface IBilling, with typical members being init(), isAvailable(), purchase(sku), getInventory(player), etc. Create classes Billing, BillingGoogle, BillingAmazon, and BillingApple. All implement IBilling. In each method of the main Billing class, the conditional compilation symbol is used to call the corresponding method in one of the three market Billing classes. The market-specific code handles the details. class Billing implements IBilling { void init() { if marketplace-conditional-var == 'G' BillingGoogle.ini

can an android app in store (Google play or other) be free for existing users who have it preloaded and paid for others?
It's not directly possible because the Google Play store doesn't let you change an app from free to one that costs money. If it has a cost, you can raise or lower it as you wish, but once it's free, it's free. You could try to work around it with some form of in-app purchase, but this would affect existing users that choose to upgrade as well so it's a poor option.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8020 not showing up on Google Play Store Developer Console's device list
I have the same problem. The 'ironic' (or panic) thing is I have 2 very similar app on the store (basically one is the light version of the other). The lighter is available and says 1582 compatible devices, the bigger is not visible with 1487 devices. BUT ALSO IN 1582 DEVICE LIST THERE IS NO GALAXY GT-N8020!!!! The only difference in the manifest are the permissions for the GPS <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION" /> <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION" /> <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_LOCATION_EXTRA_COMMANDS" /> everithing else is identical (also 80% of the code). Can't really understand!

Error google-play-services_libAndroidManifest.xml not found or not a file with Robolectric 2 and Google Play Services (maps V2)
I have recently encountered the same problem with ActionBarSherlock when running my Robolectric tests under my Maven build plan. The problem was not evident when I was completing builds on a Windows machine and only became apparent after I switched my laptop for a OSX power device. I found that the problem was that the library name "google-play-services_lib" doesn't (exactly) match that of the folder name in the directory structure. In my case, my Eclipse project was called "ActionBarSherlock-4.3.1" whereas the folder itself was called "actionbarsherlock" under the file system. I recommend that you synchronise the two names (Eclipse project and file system) and re-run your tests. Hope that helps.

Is it possible to inform previous user of application in google play store regarding completly new application not a updated version?
You'll need to create a new release.keystore in order to sign your app and submit to Google Play. You could just change your current app to a higher version, sign it with a new keystore, and publish as a new app. But you'll still have to remove the old app from Google Play. That leaves the new app as the one people should install. The only downside with that is that the current users will have to uninstall the old and install the new in order to "upgrade."

Fancybox Video continues to play when closed
First, to avoid potential conflicts you should load a single version of jQuery (you have two : v1.4 and v1.7) Second, same as jQuery you are loading two different versions of fancybox (you have : v1.3.4 and v2.0.3) Third, personally I don't think is a good idea to have an inline iframe for videos since you don't really have control of what happens inside the iframe. Additionally, it might add an overhead to your page load and other potential issues like the one you are experiencing. The good news is that you can open your video "on-demand" inside fancybox, in other words, only when you need it and not there hidden in your page and playing in the background ... so I would suggest these changes to your code : html <a class="popupLink" href="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Qw7k_erTgow?au

Char stolen by regex
[^#] will eat one character that is not #. In your case, that is your V character. If your regex engine supports look-ahead, you can probably use that to determine whether the next character after the initial # will be a whitespace (do not include in recognized headline text or anything else except for a # (do include in recognized headline text). Otherwise, the probably easier way to go would most likely be to include the whitespace in the capturing group and trim the string afterwards in your host language: /^#((?:s|[^#]).*?)s*#* +/m This will consider the initial series of # signs finished as soon as either a whitespace or a non-hash sign is found (both of which are included in the capturing group). (Note that I'm using the (?:) syntax for the inner non-capturing group, which might

Retrieving the state of Google Chrome preferences, like "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed"?
You cannot read the state of Google Chrome preferences. Google does not provide an API for Chrome, "system" settings, and Google blocks general reads to the file system (You can read sandboxed files only). isAllowedIncognitoAccess()Doc just reports wether the extension is allowed in "Incognito mode", AKA "porn mode". It has nothing to do with whether background apps run. Currently, Chrome's high-level settings are stored in a JSON file named Local State in the User Data folder1. If you can find a way to read this file, the "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed" setting is stored in the background_mode property. 1 The User Data folder defaults to: Windows XP: %AppData%..Local SettingsApplication DataGoogleChromeUser Data Windows Vista/7/8: %Loca

Server-side checking if cookie stolen
Yes, there is a way. It is called Secure Cookie Protocol. You are using SSL right? (because if you're not, this entire conversation is pointless). Well, you encrypt the cookie, but using the SSL session identifier. Assuming that SSL gives you adequate endpoint security (strong ciphers, etc), SCP should protect your data and allow you to tell when another SSL session tries to use the same cookie (because the sessionid changes, and therefore the MAC will change). key = HMAC(user name|expiration time, secret_key) cookie = user name|expiration time|encrypt(data, key) cookie = cookie | HMAC( user name|expiration time|data|sessionid, key) So basically, you're creating a unique verification code based on the SSL session identifier. Note that REMOTE_ADDR or user agent never factors in. The

SERVICE_VERSION_UPDATE_REQUIRED and Google play service out of date while integrating Google Plus in android
I got this error simply because Google Play Services actually were out of date when running on the emulator. Apparently Google hasn't updated Google Play Services on "old" emulators (such as Android 4.2.2). Using the Google API 19 (Android 4.4) emulator works for me. Should work with Android 4.2.2 and other when running on a physical device though (where Google Play Services on the device is actually updated). Here's the issue thread regarding this problem: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=57880. The old emulators will likely not be updated. Question by user: Will the older API Level 17 be updated with a new Google Play services? Project member answer: Sorry, we're only committing to keeping the latest API up-to-date.

Google Cloud Messaging for Android library vs. Google Play Services
As far as I know, yes, the old one is deprecated (it says so here http://developer.android.com/reference/gcm-packages.html), but still works. I would recommend using the Play Services version, though, since it's MUCH easier to configure and use, and if you don't need G+ login or anything else you don't have to use it. Yes, your APK will be a little bit bigger, but I think it's worth it. Plus, any new features or improvements to the protocol will most likely be only for the Play Services library, and not for the old one.

Android - Google Maps, Google Play Services library referencing

Finally the problem was about artifacts naming and apklib not being generated in the apk library project. Google play games services - launching the google+ sign in flow from an app in landscape mode
I can't reproduce the problem. When I set up my test app exactly as you described and hold my phone in landscape orientation, no problem happens. When I hold the phone in portrait orientation, I can see the orientation changing as the sign-in dialogs appear, and then it changes back to landscape when the app regains focus, but everything seems to be working. The auth and consent dialog appear only once, and everything seems to work fine. That said, my sample doesn't use an OpenGL canvas -- maybe that's where the problem is. Might be some weird interaction between the canvas and the sign-in flow. I would recommend hiding the OpenGL surface (and replace it with a static View that says "Signing in...") while you go through the sign-in flow, just to be sure.
