Elevate Zoom adjust zoom window for different sized imagery
Not sure if this is what you asked for but a simple solution to remove zoom is by removing element data elevateZoom for the main image and destroy .zoomContainer elements. After updating zoom image element data you can re-instantiate elementZoom. However, if you want to keep the same image height for zoomContainer images you should consider having server-side image resizer and render them. Here's a solution that I came up with: var zoomConfig = {cursor: 'crosshair', zoomType: "inner" }; var image = $('#gallery_01 a'); var zoomImage = $('img#zoom_03'); zoomImage.elevateZoom(zoomConfig);//initialise zoom image.on('click', function(){ // Remove old instance od EZ $('.zoomContainer').remove(); zoomImage.removeData('elevateZoom'); // Update source for images zoomImage.a

gnome-terminal font resize (zoom in, zoom out), but adjust terminal height and width contrariwise for getting a "lock in" of window dimensions
I can’t tell you for sure, but since this is GNOME and moreover GNOME 3, it’s unlikely that the Terminal has this kind of customization built-in. But in Linux, you can always improvise. How about the following. Find a program that can send keys to an X11 window. Maybe xdotool. Find a program that can control an X11 window’s geometry. Maybe xdotool. Write a short script that locates the terminal window (probably just the focused one), sends it Ctrl-Plus / Ctrl-Minus, waits a tiny bit, then sets its geometry to the one you like (or to whatever it was initially, which you can also query with xdotool). Bind this script to a keyboard shortcut of your choice, say Win+Plus / Win+Minus. No idea how to do this in modern Ubuntu / GNOME 3, but GNOME 2’s Metacity used to have GConf keys f

On hovering mouse on image to zoom magento displaying zoomed image twice either on zoom and in background zoom block
first of all thanks for posting your site URL. As i trace your html code on live site. To solve your issue that would be 2 ways to solve it. 1) As i seen your third image has white background so it is not visible in background of same image when we are applying zoom effect on it, but another 2 images of mug are display in back ground, the main thing i notice that for 2 mug images are transperant images and 3rd one is not transparent. so here i am suggesting to you to make background of image white or 2) You can apply effect of color when user will show image in zoom. Let me know if i can help you more.

Android: Adjust zoom to contain all marker
If you want to set zoom to a latlngbound, you have to set a zize to the map. Look this example! How to show multiple markers on MapFragment in Google Map API v2?

How to adjust zoom level to fit boundary and then center map in marker offset?
Try using both moveCamera and animateCamera... mMap.moveCamera(CameraUpdateFactory.newLatLngBounds(getZoomBounds(), 10)); LatLng poiSelectedLatLng = new LatLng(markerSelected.getPosition().latitude + offset, markerSelected.getPosition().longitude); mMap.animateCamera(CameraUpdateFactory.newLatLng(poiSelectedLatLng)); moveCamera will move directly to that spot while animateCamera will provide the moving effect. They are linear in nature so one will happen after the other however layering them as I have done above will provide the potential effect you are looking for. If you are trying to see the actual movement of both calls on the UI you will need to register for the callback post the completion of the animation as needed.

i tried to remove pushpins from bingmaps but when i zoom in or zoom out or grag the map, the removed pushpin appears again
How are you adding the pushpins to the map? If you are using some sort of clustering tool you will need to remove the pins from the clustering tool otherwise the next time the clustering algorithm runs it will read the pushpins.

Chrome Zoom issue: absolute Div top position changed while zoom ( Ctrl + )
The only thing I can suggest that should maintain the same appearance under zoom is to have your table and your "apptest" div in the same container: <div class="container"> <table class="custom">...</table> <div class="apptest"></div> </div> See the fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/mJcsb/4/ You're at a mercy of a completely proprietary algorithm though (Chrome's Zoom algorithm) so any irregularities in layout under zoom are completely possible.

Samsung s4 zoom does not support smooth zoom isSmoothZoomSupported()==false
I have already found solution for Smooth control of Shutter lens on Samsung S4 Zoom device. Set device in smart mode: parameters.set("mode", "smart-auto"); For Zoom In start: parameters.set("zoom-action", "optical-tele-start"); For Zoom Out start: parameters.set("zoom-action", "optical-wide-start"); For Zoom action stop: parameters.set("zoom-action", "zoom-stop"); Shutter speed: parameters.set("zoom-speed", 1); //1,2,... Don't forget save parameters in the Camera instance mCamera.setParameters(parameters); This works fine in my device, shutter now is silent and smooth. :) Regards.

D3js: How do I clear the zoom scale set by the d3.zoom event?
The zoom scale is stored in your zoom object. I'm guessing you have a line of code that looks like: var zoom = d3.behavior.zoom() Getting the scale from that object is simple: zoom.scale() To zoom out x2: zoom.scale( zoom.scale()/2 ) Translation works the same way, with zoom.translate() and zoom.translate( [x, y] ) to get and set. To keep the display transform in sync with the zoom, just make sure that when you update one, the other is also updated.

OpenGL Zoom in / Zoom out with Mouse/Keyboard
Personally I always liked the NeHe tutorials, many different examples are available with source code in many programming languages. The tutorial is in C but the code can be downloaded in other languages and method names are very similar usually. http://nehe.gamedev.net/ Regarding your zooming, try to translate your model coordinates into(closer to) the screen taking into account the point your zooming to (or from) (can be cursor location or just the center of the model). Another way might be to adjust the viewport but I recommend translating the model.

How can I make a div auto-adjust its height between two divs, according to window height using CSS/Javascript?
The correct way of ending <div> tag is by using </div>. Try this code- <body> <div style="position: fixed; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 200px; height: 100%;"> <div style="float: left; height: 50px; width: 200px; background-color: green; position: fixed;"></div> <div style="float: left; height: 100%; width: 200px; background-color: red;"></div> <div style="float: left; bottom: 0px; left:0px; position: fixed; height: 50px; width: 200px; background-color: blue;"></div> </div> </body>

zoom in and zoom out animation in android
I think you have to Set "in" and "out" animations Create folder res/anim Put animation descriptions into res/anim folder object.setInAnimation(AnimationUtils.loadAnimation(this, R.anim.zoom_enter)); object.setOutAnimation(AnimationUtils.loadAnimation(this, R.anim.zoom_exit)); You can use android sdk sample animations supplied by google under Apache 2.0 licence Or refer this which uses scaling based zooming which is easier than the former http://developer.android.com/training/animation/zoom.html

Footer out of alignment on zoom in / zoom out
Without seeing more of the code, or a working example of it it's difficult to get too much of an idea about what's going wrong. But I think a solution might be to have a static width on the inner-content, so for example the content that is mis-aligning itself, which I think is your "footerTable" - apply "margin:0 auto" to it to centre align it, this is assuming it's parent is 100% width, which I believe it is. Also, remove any other margin rules that apply to it.

Your -webkit-transform value does not match the other two transforms; it says scale(1) instead of scale(1,1). Try using these lines: $("#Page").css( "-webkit-transform", "scale(1,1)" ); $("#Page").css( "-webkit-transform", "scale(2.4,2.4)" );

CameraUpdateFactory zoom to does not zoom map
The method CameraUpdateFactory.zoomTo does not directly alter the map, instead it returns a CameraUpdate value . This value will have the new zoom level set by you and the other parameters like target, bearing, etc will be retained as they are. Now for the value to take effect, you need to apply the CameraUpdate to the map using animateCamera(CameraUpdate) or moveCamera(CameraUpdate)

zoom in and zoom out button
Mixed units problem. The default method setTextSize(float) assumes you're inputting sp units (scaled pixels), while the getTextSize() method returns an exact pixel size. You should use this: this.setTextSize(TypedValue.COMPLEX_UNIT_PX, size); This will make sure you're working with the same units.

auto zoom and auto center to show all markers in window
From your question, it seems your using multiple markers and you want to set zoom level. If so my suggestion is to take a look at fitBounds(). fitBounds() method adjusts the map's viewport in order to view the passed LatLngBounds in full at the centre of the map. Check out this sample fiddle for demo.

Run batch as Admin (auto-elevate) and then de-elevate
Your best bet is to use the best third party remote/local execution tool : Windows Sysinternals PSEXEC. You can supply credentials and accomplish what you need using PSEXEC! You can put PSEXEC commands into your batch file or vbs and have them run without a hitch. You can also call one command with PSEXEC elevated permission and the next without any elevation, while mixing credentials in a single unique batch file. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897553.aspx

why does it not zoom?
The only thing I notice is to change your setRegion line to: [worldView setRegion:region animated:YES];//instead of just setRegion -The setRegion: documentation states: The area currently displayed by the map view -While the setRegion:animated: documentation states: Changes the currently visible region and optionally animates the change Otherwise, I recommend printing out your CLLocationCoordinate2D object and ensuring it is valid.

D3.Geo performance on Pan/Zoom
(I'm not super sure what's going on under the hood here, this might be totally wrong). mapa.selectAll("path").attr("d", path); Redraws the map from scratch. That works fine for 50 states but starts to get pretty slow with 600+ shapes. You might have better luck if you left the paths in place and just transformed the entire svg: function zoommove() { svg.attr("transform", "translate("+d3.event.translate+")" + " scale("+d3.event.scale+")"); } Which I've used to create a county level map of the US (~500 shapes) that zooms and pans smoothly.

I would just use percentages and em units instead of pixels because browsers are much more compatible with them. But in your case, I don't see people zooming out that far anyways. Using the zoom and pan functionality of d3
I think there's some confusion here around transform. The transform attribute is static, not cumulative, for a single element - so setting .attr('transform', "translate(300,0)") more than once will have no effect after the first time. It also looks like your placement logic for the new boxes is off. The positioning logic required here is pretty straightforward if you take a step back (assuming I understand what you're trying to do): Every time a new box is added, the frame all boxes are in moves right 120px, so it needs a x-translation of 120 * counter. New boxes need to be offset from the new frame position, so they need an x setting of -120 * counter. Zoom needs to take the current canvas offset into account. (1) above can be done in your click handler: canvas .transition() .du

UIScrollView can zoom, but cant pan
I just went through this exact same dilemma. My UIScrollView exists within the storyboard, and if I add a UIView (containerView) within that storyboard to the UIScrollView, the image fails to pan. And all sorts of other centering weirdness occurs too. But if I do it through code: // Set up the image we want to scroll & zoom UIImage *image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"plan-150ppi.jpg"]; self.imageView = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithImage:image]; self.containerView = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:self.imageView.frame]; [self.containerView addSubview:self.imageView]; [self.scrollView addSubview:self.containerView]; // Tell the scroll view the size of the contents self.scrollView.contentSize = self.containerView.frame.size; ... then it works just fine.
