Responsive Logo - Menu Overlaps Logo
You can't use fixed dimensions AND get the responsive, resizing qualities you are looking for. Furthermore, you shouldn't use a background image if you want it resizing. To fix you code, it is simple. Add the background image as a html image inside of your <div class="rt-block logo-block"> <a href="/~thanos/example/" id="rt-logo"> <img src="http://174.142.32.91/~thanos/example/images/example.png" /> // This is your image </a> </div> Next, remove the following from your css: #rt-logo{background:url("../images/logo/logo1.png") no-repeat;} #rt-logo{margin:-9px 0 0 0;width:172px;height:84px;display:block;}

Wait for a logo to load, fade in the logo, fade out after delay then fade in rest of site
Cool thing about jQuery is it lets you chain functions together, and some functions (luckily in your case "FadeIn/Out" come with a callback function)! $(document).ready(function () { // simplest solution $('img').hide(0).delay(3000).fadeIn(333, function () { $(this).fadeOut(333, function () { $('#content').fadeIn(333); }); }); }); http://jsfiddle.net/whiteb0x/JRtGS/

how to add logo to qr codes
You will have to add an image overlay perhaps using another image library. I managed to find this resource that was able to do it. http://skrymerdev.wordpress.com/2012/09/22/qr-code-generation-with-zxing/ However I am certain you cannot add an image directly in the center of an QR code it will not allow the QR code to scan. You may be able to put a small one at the top.

Why is the logo hiding in IE7?
I can't really explain why, but z-index in IE7 and IE8 acts weird. If you're using z-index, and want it to work in older IE browsers, you need to make sure your parent element has an heigher z-index then your element. For example, give your #header a z-index: 6000; and it'll be fixed. I hope someone can give you an better explanation as to why this works, as I would like to know aswell myself. EDIT: I've googled abit and found this interesting post: http://www.brenelz.com/blog/squish-the-internet-explorer-z-index-bug/

Need some help on my navigation bar and logo
Seeing as you aren't linking to anywhere with the logo image you could set it as the UL background-image with "no-repeat top center"; scrap the logo div and img. then increase the margin-right on the about link to half of the width of the logo and margin left on the gallery link to half the width of the logo. You might have to play with the padding on the UL too.

Best way to add text to a logo image
Save yourself some CSS, and make adding other fields easier, by including the padding in the container, not on the name, etc. lines. The background image will stay in place. #logo { float: left; margin-left: 20px; color: #000; height: 95px; font-size: 20px; background-image: url("http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8241/8589392310_7b6127e243_s.jpg"); background-repeat: no-repeat; padding-left: 90px; } #logo .name { color: red; } #logo .address { color: green; } #logo .job { color: purple; } Also, unless you plan on using name, address and job classes elsewhere, there's no reason to qualify them here: .name { color: red; } .address { color: green; } .job { color: purple; } Updated fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/ueZ2H/1/

Put a logo with @Html.ActionLink
It's a bit misleading, since you can't do this directly. As rikitikitik's link suggests, one thing you can do is keep the ActionLink as is, but give it a class and then apply CSS rules to turn the link into an image. Alternatively you can just use your own HTML <img> tag or write your own HTML helper to generate image-link combinations.

Display a logo in a contextmenustrip
The solution is very simple. You have to use a custom ToolStripRenderer and override the OnRenderImageMargin method. You will also need to prepare a logo image with a suitable size. Here is the code: public class Form1 : Form { public Form1(){ InitializeComponent(); // This contextMenuStrip is used for your Notify Icon // Just show it as you do contextMenuStrip1.Renderer = new CustomRenderer(); } } public class CustomRenderer : ToolStripProfessionalRenderer { protected override void OnRenderImageMargin(ToolStripRenderEventArgs e) { e.Graphics.DrawImage(yourImage, e.AffectedBounds); } } Note: Your image should already be rotated 90 degrees. Otherwise you will have to rotate it using code before drawing. Here is the screenshot of

Bootstrap 3 Navbar with Logo
Although your question is interesting i don't expect there will be one answer for it. Maybe your question is too broad. Your solution should depend on: other content in the navbar (number of items), sizes of your logo, should your logo act responsive, etc. Adding the logo in the a (with navbar-brand) seems a good starting point. I should use the navbar-brand class because this will add a padding (top / bottom) of 15 pixels. I test this setting on http://getbootstrap.com/examples/navbar/ with a logo of 300x150 pixels. Full screen > 1200: between 768 and 992 pixels (menu not collapsed): <768 (menu collapsed) Beside the aesthetic aspects i did not find any technical problem. On small screens a big logo will overlap or break out the viewport maybe. Screens between 768 and 992 pix

How to display the logo on the address bar?
Short answer: yes. That's how many browsers work. Firefox: http://msujaws.wordpress.com/2012/04/23/an-update-to-site-identity-in-desktop-firefox/ Chrome: why doesn't the favicon file show in the address bar of google chrome? and http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/kUQOKVUwUmw In the wikipedia page, you can find some more about browser support. In short, Firefox and Chrome don't do it, Explorer, Safari and Opera do.

Error when i try my Logo Quiz like app
Your if statements are wrong. In the onClick method you use only '=' instead of '=='. The equals sign assigns true to the value of mb and then the if is evaluated. This means that the value of mb is always set to true and thus every answer is evaluated as correct. You should check like this: if (mb == true) { ... } or better yet if (mb) { ... } The same goes for checking false. You could use: if (mb == false) { ... } or if (!mb) { ... }

How to add a logo in header in existing Pdf in C#
Are you creating the document from scratch? If so, you know the dimensions of the page. It's PageSize.A4 by default, or whatever Rectangle you passed to the Document constructor. You need to adjust the X and Y values depending on the value of that Rectangle. For instance: image.setAbsolutePosition(rect.Left, rect.Top - image.ScaledHeight); Where rect is the page size. As you're adding a header, you want this header to appear on each page, hence you'll use a page event. Take a look at the OnEndPage() method in this example. Make sure you don't add the image bytes as many times as there are pages! Create the image instance outside the onEndPage method, for instance in the constructor of your page event implementation. If not, you need to get the CropBox of every page: rect = reader.Ge

Launch the existing website with different Logo, name and URL
You could use the I18n mechanic for it. Do something like the following code in the controller: class ApplicationController < ActionController::Base protect_from_forgery before_filter :set_locale private def set_locale case request.host.split('.').last when 'de' I18n.locale = :de when 'com' I18n.locale = :en else I18n.locale = I18n.default_locale end end end Than use index.de.html.erb or index.en.html.erb for the different views. You can create your own "language" for each site. en and de are just examples. Have a look at http://xyzpub.com/en/ruby-on-rails/3.2/i18n_mehrsprachige_rails_applikation.html

Logo placement on responsive image
You could try putting the logo's element within the image element for the vegas slideshow. It would look something like this I think: <img id="vegas-background"> <div id='logo-wrapper' style='position: relative; height: 100%;'> <img id="logo" /> </div> </img> The relative position on the logo-wrapper will make it so that the absolute position will be relative to the image, instead of the page like it is now. I believe vegas creates that img element, so you'll need to insert the logo-wrapper and logo element using javascript (jquery used in the below), perhaps using one of the vegas events: $('body').bind('vegasstart', function(e) { $('vegas-background').append(" <div id='logo-wrapper' style='position: relative;

How Avoid to load Zk Powered Logo?
The only correct way to remove the 'Powered by ZK' logo from your application is to use the PE or EE versions of ZK. Both come with a number of cool features, and neither display the logo. The logo (product promotion) is one of the things you give the ZK folks in exchange for all their hard work. Their commercial licensing is very competitively priced. If you are working on an Open Source project, you can apply for a free PE or EE license! Commercial Licensing ZK Open Source License (ZOL) Regarding hacking the CSS, note the order in which the stylesheets are loaded. The logo is likely being displayed before ZK even loads your stylesheet.

Dynamically display welcome string in "Your logo here"
If you're only interested in a string, you don't need to spin up a separate partial view with its own controller action. Just create a helper function, manipulate the URL in there, and then call the function directly from your View. .cs: public static string GetCustomWelcomeString() { string customString; // use System.Web.HttpContext.Current.Request.Url here to do the cool stuff return customString; } .cshtml: <p class="site-title">@MyClass.GetCustomWelcomeString()</p> For a more architecturally clean solution, consider pre-calculating this title in the main controller action and returning it as a model field, so the view can consume it directly using @Model.CustomWelcomeString or something like that..

Then you can click on the opening hours and on the logo and see from "computed style" on the right that their upper margins are different.
