Sending a C# string to aspx.NET page
If the string is a protected (at least) property on the page then it can be accessed in the page's markup. So the string would be something like this at the class level: protected string MyString { get; set; } And in the page markup you can access its value: <%= MyString %>

PHP form reloads current page on POST action, rather than displaying 'success.php' page. Why?
To combine my two comments above... what I would try first is to replace $insertGoTo with an absolute value (ie http://www.mydomain.com/success.php) and then replace the last line (for the sake of cleaning it up) with: header("Location: $insertGoTo");. See if that works?

Calender - jQuery works on stand along but not when on a .aspx page with a master page
You are using your variables as a constant so any element will match the selector, instead of this: var lblDateStart = '<%= lblDateStart.ClientId %>'; function setLabelStart(yourDate1) { $("#lblDateStart").val(yourDate1); } var lblDateEnd = '<%= lblDateEnd.ClientId %>'; function setLabelEnd(yourDate2) { $("#lblDateEnd").val(yourDate2); } use this: var lblDateStart = '#<%= lblDateStart.ClientId %>'; function setLabelStart(yourDate1) { $(lblDateStart).val(yourDate1); } var lblDateEnd = '#<%= lblDateEnd.ClientId %>'; function setLabelEnd(yourDate2) { $(lblDateEnd).val(yourDate2); } as you can see the # is contained in the selector variable to get the value of the matched element.

use variable in aspx page load from event raised in ascx, and build dynamic buttons on page
I think I see what you're doing that is causing your problem. To be sure I understand, though... you have built a custom control (an .ascx) that you are adding to your web form dynamically by adding it to a placeholder control. However, when the user interacts with the custom control, the event is not getting raised to the parent. I think that you've got a good start here, but I'd like to give a recommendation on a slightly different way to approach this. It might also clean up your code a little and keep you from having to build the control twice in one page lifetime. First, change your "BuildCrumbs" sub to the following (you'll probably need to change the "Dim mybtn2" line to match the details of your project): Private Sub BuildCrumbs(IsNewControl As Boolean) Dim mybtn2 As Peop

Sending data from form to php file using post method
with the ajax method being post this is invalid xmlhttp.open("POST","ajax_test.php?q="+str,true); instead it should be xmlhttp.open("POST","ajax_test.php",true); xmlhttp.send('q='+str); you should not put the request string in the url unless you are using the GET method to prevent the form from sending and going to the action page on click, you need to use preventDefault() function like so in your javascript and you should also initialize the var xmlhttp at the top of the function. function showUser(str, e){ e.preventDefault(); var xmlhttp; and in the html onclick="showUser(this.value, event)" below is a short term fix to this solution but i strongly recommend you read more on javascript, html and php syntax as long as best practices <script> function showUser(form,

trying to redirect from an ashx page to an aspx page
Since you are doing an ajax request clearly the Redirect should have no effect. What you need to do instead is do it from the client-side, on the success handler: public void ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) { context.Response.ContentType = "text/plain"; string searchValue = context.Request["txtBoxValue"].ToString(); //Return the redirect URL instead context.Response.Write("SearchResults.aspx?search=" + searchValue); } $.ajax({ url: 'Handlers/SearchContent.ashx', data: { 'txtBoxValue': txtBoxValue }, success: function (data) { window.location= data;//redirect here. "data" has the full URL } }); Now, if this is all you are doing in the ashx handler, I don't really see the need for the ajax request.

Pass the information of tags to the php and display in another page( and can also update in another page)?
First of all the jsfiddle link doesn't work for me. Now, the only way is to use http methods like POST/GET to pass the data from client to server. The implementation depends of what you like the most or better a friendly and easy to use interface, so my suggestions are: You can create (dynamically or not) a form (with hidden fields for example) and update their values with JS and pass the data through a submit button which is an easy implementation. An another implementation is to use Ajax if you take care of user selection and create the data structure dynamically. In both cases, you should validate the correctness of the submitted data with php. Never trust the user or the "supposed" JavaScript restrictions.

How do I wire an ascx event from a dynamically loaded ascx page into the aspx page...?
EDIT: There are two parts to the question and answer. The first part is how to "bubble" an event that occurs on a control inside the UserControl. This is accomplished by handling the inner control's event and then firing a similar event on the UserControl itself. In this case the UserControl's event shares the same name and signature as the inner control's event. This is not a requirement, but in this case it makes sense to do so. The second part is how to dynamically load UserControls yet still have the containing web page hook up to this bubbled event that is defined on each of the UserControl classes. The problem is that the ASP.NET UserControl class itself does not define the event, and the only common aspect of the dynamically loaded UserControls is the fact that they are all of type

How can I find out the POST form sent to an ASP page?
Someone else seems to have found a workaround for your problem; It consists of writing a FORM using javascript instead of a URL in Chrome. A cleaner alternative would be to write a proxy page; a page that you write in asp/php/whatever that can take querystring parameters coming in, and then POST these parameters to the euskadi.net pages, returning the results. This will require you to have a server or hosted page somewhere online though.

You can pass variables via GET and POST. To pass variables to a page via GET, call the page like so: /myPage.php?myParam=1 Then, you could run the following PHP: <?php echo $_GET['myParam']; ?> Which would output "1." To pass variables via POST, post your data to the page like so: <form action="myPage.php" method="post"> <input type="text" name="myInput" /> <input type="submit" value="Submit"> </form> Then, on myPage.php you could run the following: <?php echo $_POST['myInput']; ?> Which would output whatever was contained in the textbox before you clicked submit. How to Retrieve Html code from current Page in Post Method
I would recomend to render the view by yourself and save the result as PDF (Render View programmatically into a string). But if you need the client HTML you have to pass it to the controller via user-input. Try this: 1) Make an hidden field @Html.Hidden("ClientHTML") 2) Update the field before you submit the form: $('document').ready(function(){ $('#myform').submit(function(){ var pageHTML = '<html>' + $('html').html() + '</html>'; $('#ClientHTML').val(pageHTML); }); }); You will then have to allow HTML content in your POST, as described in this post.

ASP.Net MVC page with a section that contains partial view being submitted as part of the form post?
You could easily use jQuery to copy the additional fields into the form, either when the page is fully loaded or just before the form is submitted. Something like this might do: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $('#theform').submit(function(){ $("#lowerleftblock input").appendTo("#destinationform"); }); }); </script> You would obviously need to adjust the css selectors in the sample code above for this to work. You may want to See the jQuery docs for more info on appendTo. See the jQuery docs for more info on selectors.

`Confirm Form Resubmission` issue on page rendered thru app.post('/', in expressjs
The problem isn't really caused by your code, but by that browsers want to do a post again when you've received a response from a POST. A common way to solve this issue is to redirect to the same page. app.post('/', function(req, res){ res.redirect('/'); }); Now when you refresh the browser will refetch a GET '/' instead. Update to reflect updated question To render data that was posted on the redirected page, one can use sessions. app.use(express.cookieSession()); app.post('/', function(req, res){ req.session.user = req.body; res.redirect('/'); }); And in the middleware for GET '/' you have to make sure to use that parameter app.get('/', function(req, res){ res.render('home', { user: req.session.user }); });

I see that you tried to stop the behaviour of submitted forms (with return false, which seems fine), I did this once too but don't now in which project that was, so I don't have any sample right now. Maybe this helps (but didn't test it yet): $("#myForm").submit(function(e){ e.preventDefault(); var url = $(this).attr("action"); var str=$(this).serialize(); $.post(url,str,function(msg){$('msg_div').show();$('msg_div').html(msg);}); return false; }); The e.preventDefault(); should stop the submit process. How can I post links, pictures etc to my facebook page on behalf of my page using an app?
in your code you only get USER access token. However, in order to post as page, you need to get PAGE access token. See here for more details: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/authentication/pages/ In 2 words, you need to do the following: Authenticate the user and request the manage_pages permission Get the list of pages the user manages using token from (1) - https://graph.facebook.com/me/accounts?access_token=USER_ACCESS_TOKEN Parse the list and get the PAGE token - and use it to post to the feed. Basically, before your client.Post("/AllTheMed/feed", ...) you should call me/accounts (here comes pseudocode): var myAccounts = client.Get("/me/accounts"); var pageAccessToken = myAccounts.Single(x => x.pageName == MY_PAGE_NAME).access_token; var pageClient = new FacebookClie
