Microsoft chart control - redraw chart after failure (red cross)
The error in RecalculateAxesScale (System.OverflowException: Value was either too large or too small for a Decimal) was thrown, because of a Bug in the Library. It uses decimal values inside the implementation of chart functions (especially in axes recalculation/zoom), which causes the problem. Just checking for every chart point if its value is lower or greater than double min = (double)Decimal.MinValue; double max = (double)Decimal.MaxValue; and replace it by this values didn't solve the problem. I chose -/+7.92E+27 as bounds instead of the ones above and everything is working fine now.

animated chart control for asp.net
I would consider FusionCharts They have a nice assortment of chart types, very nice visual, and very simple implementation. You can supply data directly in XML or JSON format, either from server-side or directly to the client, so real-time updates are supported as well. Oh and even though this is a commercial product, they do have a free version.

Can I process a Click Event on a asp:Chart control using asp.net?
Add XValueMember="yourValueORID" PostBackValue="#VALX" in your aspx part, to the series for which you want to postback to code behind and perform any operation. yourValueORID would be any column from the datasource you are binding to the chart. Then modify your click event signature as below. Protected Sub Chart_Click(object sender, ImageMapEventArgs e) Handles ChartSalesA.Click 'You will get your value from the XValueMember as below. Dim x As String = Convert.ToString(e.PostBackValue) End Sub You can also do the same with YValueMember="yourValueORID" PostBackValue="#VALY", if you want to pass your YValueMember to the code behind.

How to get maximum Y-axis value from autoscaling chart control
It doesn't compute the max value until the chart is displayed so the following code displays NaN: public Form1() { InitializeComponent(); this.chart1.Series.Clear(); this.chart1.Series.Add("My Data"); this.chart1.Series[0].Points.AddXY(1, 1); this.chart1.Series[0].Points.AddXY(2, 2); this.chart1.Series[0].Points.AddXY(3, 6); MessageBox.Show(this.chart1.ChartAreas[0].AxisY.Maximum.ToString()); // returns NaN } But checking after the chart is displayed will give the correct value: public Form1() { InitializeComponent(); this.chart1.Series.Clear(); this.chart1.Series.Add("My Data"); this.chart1.Series[0].Points.AddXY(1, 1); this.chart1.Series[0].Points.AddXY(2, 2); this.chart1.Series[0].Points.AddXY(3, 6); } private void button1_Click(o

how to add values from a database output to the data field in Line Chart of Chart.js
First thing first You need to replace data : [0,9,0,8,56,55,40] with data : [data_array1] data_array1 is an data_string came from database, all you need to do is just convert that data array into highchart acceptable format. For that you need to fetch the data from database, implode it with comma(,), that it will return a string which will be something like this 0,9,0,8,56,55,40 Just echo it data : [data_array1]

Create line chart using Google Chart API and JSON for DataTable
The problem is a very small typo. In the JSON, row should be rows. Eg, changing the example JSON to var result = { "cols":[ {"type":"string"}, {"type":"number"}], "rows":[ {"c":[{"v":"20-01-13"}, {"v":22}]}, {"c":[{"v":"21-01-13"}, {"v":24}]}, {"c":[{"v":"22-01-13"}, {"v":27}]} ]}; and your code works : Update Look at Format of the Constructor's JavaScript Literal data Parameter You need to wrap each "c"-section into brackets and also misses "v" (value indicator) for the first column. Your updated test JSON is "cols": [ {"type":"string"},{"type":"number"} ], "rows":[ {"c":"20-01-13"},{"v":35}, {"c":"21-01-13"},{"v":30} ] } giving a "can't read 0 of undefined", becuase it should be { "cols":[ {"type":"string"},{"type":"number"} ], "rows":[

Remove extra chart area on Highcharts Gantt chart
It looks like you are forcing this area by having y axis padding and the lines by having a tick interval of 1. yAxis: { tickInterval: 1, .. // minPadding: 0.2, // maxPadding: 0.2 Going back to the default padding gives pretty good results, but the default of .01 may still be too much if your chart grows taller.

Don't use categories for such case - categories will prevent that behavior. After changing the chart type of Shield UI Chart no data is shown
There is the possibility to just change the chart type and to have the data displayed in the now layout. However you need to consider where the data types are compatible or not. Bar charts are intended to show single values e.g. 1,2,3,4 and so on. While the range bar's data values come in pairs. Look at the code below: { seriesType: 'rangebar', data: [[0.75, 0.79], [0.95, 1.03], [0.70, 0.79], [0.65, 0.70], [0.5, 0.69], [0.77, 0.89], [0.79, 0.87], [0.55, 0.89], [0.65, 0.99]] }

How to print a large HTML based org chart - right edge of the chart is cut off
There are some interesting points in this post. I know this will be an absolute pain, but is it possible to programmatically split your sheet up into tiled divs of the right size (x and y) then stack them one above the other in a div that's only visible to the printer (using @dave's suggestion for CSS media setting)? I know that on our printers a standard width for a page is 649px in the majority of cases (unless someone's messed with the print settings). I'm not sure that this constitutes an answer really, but if you can pull it off!... ;o)

Column Chart of Google Chart doesn't center
You used tdata.setCell(i, j, value) instead of tdata.setCell(i - 2, j , value) so you didn't give values to the first fow. Instead, google created a row, that's why it moves to the right. Also, you should add 1 row instead of 3 rows. See the piece of code below: function transformarData(data) { var rows = data.length-2; var cols = data[0].length; var tdata = new google.visualization.DataTable(); log("creado tdata"); //tdata.addColumn(data[, data[0][0]); for (var i = 0; i < cols; i++) { tdata.addColumn(data[0][i], data[1][i]); } tdata.addRows(rows); for (var i = 2; i < data.length; i++) { for (var j = 0; j < cols; j++) { var value = data[i][j]; if (data[0][j] == 'number') { value = parseIn
