jQuery Ajax Save - page is seen/ page flickers
The navigation to another URL happens because you are actually doing a proper form submission just before the AJAX call with document.frmSurvey.submit(); -- in fact this would prevent the AJAX request from occurring because navigating to the form action URL would stop JS processing from the current page. If you remove that line your form will be submitted through AJAX without any redirection.

How to open, jump to a page, change page size (basic read only operations of PDF)
You have misunderstood what iText is for. It's not a library for PDF rendering, you won't be able to visualize a PDF file with iText. As for your issue, most of the PDF viewers (Adobe Acrobat, Foxit Reader) accept parameters to achieve (partly) what you want. It's just a matter of finding the proper reader. Remember that seeking advices about libraries, applications, frameworks is considered off-topic on StackOverflow, so your question is likely to be closed.

How to read child page viewbag variable in parent master page
Without further info into your business logic, I could be way off base here... but... It seems that setting any ViewBag data in the View is an Anti-Pattern. By the time the View is getting rendered as it's part of the Life Cycle of a page, your ViewModel should have everything it needs, and the View and Masterpage should just consume the data, not generate it. I'm also a FIRM believer in setting EVERYTHING view related in a ViewModel and NOT in the ViewBag (it's a personal preference, but one that is widely accepted). If you describe your specific scenario a little further, maybe I can help you come up with a better pattern to follow. public class LayoutViewModel {   public bool UseFacebookConnect { get; set; } } public class SomeViewModel : LayoutViewModel {   public string So

How to redirect /page/index page to /page (and /page to /page/) in Ruby on Rails?
If you don't want to cause a full reload of the page, then you should not use "redirect" in your routes, as that simply issues a browser redirect. That would cause Rails to issue a 301 "Moved Permanently". That essentially means "there is a /page/index route but it's a mistake, we don't use it anymore, please go to /page instead and never come back here." If that is the case then that is what you want to do. If you're using Passenger and will continue to use Passenger, it would be more efficient to put an Apache redirect rule in the htaccess file. It also seems strange that this is even an issue. How have /page/index, /page, and /page/ emerged in the wild as URLs that all point to the same index#index action? What is this index controller? The usual thing is to have, say, a PagesControlle

How to call function on page load in jquery mobile and how to pass data from one page to another
Proper way to initialize function on a page load is: $(document).on('pageinit', '#index', function(){ }); Working example: http://jsfiddle.net/Gajotres/PMrDn/ Regarding passing data from one page to another, there are several solutions, you can find them in my blog ARTICLE. Just search for the chapter called: Data/Parameters manipulation between page transitions. You will also find working examples. Basically there are 3 main approaches: Pass data from page 1 to page 2 directly. It requires several HTML pages, it will not work with one HTML containing several pages. Store data into some global javascript variable (the easiest solution). Store data into localstorage EDIT : There's one more thing. If you are using several HTML pages you need to be careful with your javascript. W

How to move huge amount of data from one page to another page without state management
Without state management of any kind, the only option is to use hidden fields for every textbox on all the pages. The first page would include hidden fields for fields two and three, and so on. Since you indicate the data could be 'hundreds' of MBs, that doesn't sound like a smart option. What is your reason to want no state management? Why are you editing hundreds of MBs on a web page in a text editor?

create a new page in a form dynamically, based on data of the prev. page
Using the UiApp service, you have one doGet() and one doPost() function... but here's a way to extend them to support a dynamic multi-part form. (The example code is borrowed from this answer. Your doGet() simply builds part1 of your form. In the form, however, you need to identify your form by name, like this: var form = app.createFormPanel().setId("emailCopyForm"); You doPost() then, will pass off handling of the post operation to different functions, depending on which form has been submitted. See below. (Also included: reportFormParameters (), a default handler that will display all data collected by a form part.) /** * doPost function with multi-form handling. Individual form handlers must * return UiApp instances. */ function doPost(eventInfo) { var app; Logger.log("For

Groovy POI created cells considered blank by other programs until ENTER is manually pressed in cells
I have no experience with Java, but having to hit enter in a cell is usually indicative of calculation being set to manual. Since you are working with API it may be treating your input from Java as a formula (?). Open the offending workbook in its broken state, and on the sheet you are having problems with choose [Formulas] tab at top, then [Calculation]>Calculate Sheet. If this updates the value then I see two options... See if there is an option to manually calculate the sheet with POI, after the value has been entered. Alternatively, you can write just a tiny bit of VBA to force calculation on that sheet when workbook is opened. MSDN offers a simple example. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/aa223802%28v=office.11%29.aspx I have had to do this for Excel apps w

how to display a coming soon page when a page doesn't have an index page using htaccess
I'm guessing that for http://domain1.com/, you've got the document root pointed to /domain1.com/, which means it will never be able to access files outside of the document root. You'll need to move the comingsoon.php file to the /domain1.com/ folder and include the same ErrorDocument. Another option is to include the full hostname in the original error document: ErrorDocument 403 http://maindomain.com/comingsoon.php But this will change the location in the browser's address bar.

I think it's not easy because of pager itself support swiping gesture, it means if a user swipe a screen, it should display left or right page, and therefore three page are all prepared at the same time. So, if you really want to always re-create the page eachtime, you may consider using TabHost or ViewFlipper as alternative. Another option is updating page whenever a user swipe a page totally. You can check this timing via setting a OnPageChangeListener at your ViewPager. mMyPager.setOnPageChangeListener(new ViewPager.OnPageChangeListener() { @Override public void onPageScrolled(int i, float v, int i2) {} @Override public void onPageSelected(int i) { //do some update job here. } @Override

Using created Login Page for authentication in ASP.NET MVC 4
In ASP.NET MVC, your URLs don't map to files; they map to actions. So, having a file at ~/Accounts/PasswordLock.aspx doesn't help. What you need is a route for that URL. The routes are usually set up in a file called RouteConfig, under the App_Start folder, executed by the Application_Start() method in Global.asax. The usual default route looks like this: routes.MapRoute( name: "default", routeTemplate: "{controller}/{action}/{id}", defaults: new { id = RouteParameter.Optional }); This means that a URL that goes www.example.com/Accounts/PasswordLock will map to a controller called AccountsController, and a method on that controller called PasswordLock. This method should return a View which by default will be called PasswordLock.cshtml. Note that the new Razor v2 view engine

Have you looked at using memory-mapped files? They allow files to be addressed as though they are part of the application's memory, even if they are larger than the actual available memory.
