normal count in loop into another loop AngularJS
What exactly do you need the index for? Why not just implement that functionality in your controller and attach it to the object? 1 more tip - use ng-class to dynamically set the style of your table row.

Textangular not sending inline styles to server on post
Are you using Angular Sanitize in your project?? if you do it may be the problem because angular sanitize prevents scripts, events and inline styles to be displayed, why styles you may ask, cuz styles can be used to inject javascript as well as events or script tags: <div style="background: url('javascript:alert(XSS)')"> This is to prevent malicious code to executed unless you explicitly

Unit testing $rootScope.$$phase and $rootScope.$digest()
I was able to solve this by just changing the $on to.. $scope.onUpdate = function() { if (!$rootScope.$$phase) { $rootScope.$digest(); } }; $rootScope.$on('task1-completed', function() { $scope.onUpdate(); }); This way I can unit test the if statement, without the actual code that calls it, which makes $$phase false and ensures $digest() is called.

Repeat Angular Directive
$index is not available to your directive code. It is defined in an inner scope only. I think you should create a child directive and pass required data to it, like $index. <div class="box quarter" ng-repeat="nodes in collectordata"> <div collectordata-child="{{$index}}" class="label">{{nodes.Label}} <span>(<a href="#_">History</a>)</span></div>

Angularjs limitTo filter strange behavior with Number.MAX_VALUE
I have debugged angular sources for v1.3.0-beta.11. The implementation of limitTo filter contains: if (Math.abs(Number(limit)) === Infinity) { limit = Number(limit); } else { limit = int(limit); } int function is defined as follows: function int(str) { return parseInt(str, 10); } so when limit is set to Number.MAX_VALUE the "else" block executes and limit is passed to parseInt functio

is not very clear what youre trying to achieve, a plunker or fiddle will help, but if i get you, you want your navigation links simulate the click of the next and previous sub-brands links, you can use something like this to make it work: $scope.goSubBrand = function(brand, sub){ 'Your logic here' } $scope.allBrands = [{brand: 'brand 1', subbrands: [{name: 'subbrand 1'},{...}]}, {brand: 'brand 2

$watch not keeping track of model variable
Your watching an instance of an integer. If your watch statement was on the actual ViewModel, it would work. Alternatively, you can make the "JobsLeft" variable an object - something like this: return { Products: [], PageCount: [], JobsLeft: { value: 0 } }; Then, when you write $scope.JobsLeft = ProductRepository.Model.JobsLeft; The scope's JobsLeft is a referen

Events can be bound in the following ways: In markup (named function call bound to a built-in data binding) In a directive (anonymous function bound to a custom data binding) In a controller (DOM event handler bound to an angular.element) In a service (DOM event handler bound to an angular.module) Angular has the following events: $viewContentLoaded $includeContentRequested $includeContentLo

bootstrap ui modal.open error:Cannot read property 'open' of undefined
Remove $modal parameter from $scope.on function definition and it should work. You don't have to pass it with ngClick wince you already have $modal service in scope: $scope.on = function() { $modal.open({ templateUrl: 'http://localhost:58652/Home/TestView', controller: "CtrlController" }); };

Internet Explorer modal directive in angular js
Ok, so first of all you will have to read the entire section on IE8 integration on Angular's website. There is a number of things that you have to do in order to make it work. Start there. "They" are right that you have to call this piece of code: document.createElement(yourTagName) It's not intended to render anything, it is aimed to let IE8 know that you will be having some custom HTML tags

In app.js where you define the urls, you will need to append id there. .state('Visa', { url : '/form/update_visa/:id', controller : 'VisaCtrl', templateUrl : 'visa/form.html', }); and now in the controller you can get that value with $stateParams.id

Bad Gateway 502 on Openshift NodeJS app when uploading a file
I've resolved the issue. I post it so that someone who has the problem can solve it to. The Web load balancer at openshift is HAproxy and has issues with the upload because the response of the server wasn't identical with the request because of the content type. I switched from $http from angular to an XHR. That solved the issue and works fine. The content-type i didn't set at all. now it works

How do I check for login or other status before launching a route in Angular with routeProvider?
I had the same problem and I did it this way: var app = angular.module('myModule',["ui-bootstrap"]); And then listen for a locationchange in the app (this will also trigger onEnter of a page) app.run(function ($rootScope, $location, $cookieStore) { $rootScope.$on("$locationChangeStart", function (event, next, current) { //Here you can check whatever you want (servercall, cookie...) }); }

Collapse Navbar when route changes
You can collapse the navbar on click (it feels more natural to me) simply by adding (or enhancing) the ng-click handler on each <a>: <a ng-href="{{item.link}}" ng-click="isCollapsed=true">{{item.title}}</a> <a href="" ng-click="isCollapsed=true;changeLanguage('en')">{{ 'LANG_BUTTON_EN' | translate }}</a> If you really want it after the $stateChangeSuccess event,

How do i make modal placement and animations work in angular-strap
Ok figured this out after some tinkering. The animation did not work because obviously you have to inject the animate js into the directive too if you want to use it: angular.module('myApp', ['ngAnimate', 'mgcrea.ngStrap']); This is actually mentioned on the github page but not in the docs so i missed that. The placement not working seems to be an issue with the base bootstrap css not actually

Angularjs select option removal with ng-if bug
This is an interesting problem. It's related to the fact that ngIf directive creates new scope which inherits from the base scope. Since you are using primitive property for the model permissionsSelect it looses connection with initial scope list. You can fix it by using object reference: $scope.permissionsList = [{name:'x'},{name:'y'}]; $scope.permissions = {}; $scope.permissions.select = $scop

The solution that appears most appropriate, without knowing your application, would be to load all of the m

Using ng-class with a function call - called multiple times
Your way is fine as long as your list is not some huge size. That being said if you are using angular 1.3 and you want to lower the number of calls you can change your ng-class to ng-class="::getBackgroundColour(singleCase)". This applies one time binding so once the value is stable it will not check again. This would most likely mean two calls per item.

From my experience (and according to the Angular documentation) module dependencies can only be declared when initializing a module.
